Isabella's POV

As we were loading the boat, like usual, I had that horrible gut feeling that something was about to happen. For the most part, I chose to ignore it, though I told Emmett about it, just in case. As we loaded ourselves onto the boat, we heard screaming, coming from the other side of the island.

"Go! Go to the other side, quickly!" I said.

Everyone ran off of the boat and ran straight to the humans that were screaming. The others were right behind us, telling us to stop, but I didn't know what they were talking about. I was concerned about the humans. The only reason someone would be screaming, is either the Volturi was here, or demons were storming over the place. I was wrong about both.

When we reached the other side, nothing was going on. Everyone was just walking around, doing what humans usually do. Since this town was so small, there were little shops they were going to, with their houses close by. A boat was arriving, a fishing boat. I watched them, a little suspicious, but nothing happened. They just exited the boat with crates full of fish.

No one noticed us, luckily. We would have been exposed. I walked to Vastel, who seemed completely confused. Emmett walked over to us and grabbed our arms. He didn't say anything to us the entire way back to the other side of the mountain. When we got back, he seemed a little upset and everyone else was confused, just like I was.

"Isabella, please tell me why you would run off to the other side of the mountain like that." Emmett said.

"People were screaming." I whispered. Vastel nodded, knowing that he heard it also.

"Bells, no one was screaming." Dominic said.

"I heard it, also." Vastel said. He looked back behind us, concerned still.

"We didn't hear anything." Hollow said. "You yell at us, in German, and then run off somewhere with Vastel."

"German..." I mumbled. "I said it in English."

"No... no Bells, you said it in German." Emmett said.

Vastel and I looked at each other. We ended up letting it go, but I was still confused. Why would Vastel and I be the only ones to hear the screaming? It was loud and clear. I was completely spoke English. We got onto the boat, without another sentence about what just happened. We just quickly left that island. When I turned back to look at the house, I saw a shadow... someone was standing there.

"Mom?" I whispered. I jumped out of the boat and swam straight back to the ocean.

I heard Emmett yelling at me and Vastel saying something. I could only pick up some words. But none of it made sense.

"Fake... trap... Demon... not your mother." I heard someone scream.

I walked onto the island and to the house. It was my mother. It was her. Her long brown hair, her light blue eyes. It was her. She smiled at me and wanted me to grab her hands. I heard someone coming up behind me, it was Vastel. He yanked me back but my mother grabbed me back.

"It's nice to see you again." She smiled. "We want to see you."

"Isabella let go, she's a demon. She's not real." Vastel said.

"Oh, how rude." My mother whispered. "I guess you can come along then." She smiled at me one last time then darkness took over me.

...

When I opened my eyes, I saw Vastel lying next to me. He wasn't moving, nor breathing. It felt like we were inside a moving vehicle. I looked around to see I was wrapped in blankets in the back of a car. My head ached and I rolled over to my side. I heard Emmett's voice. He was sitting in the front seat, with Dominic.

"Emmett..." I mumbled. I groaned and laid my head down again.

I felt Emmett's body slide right next to me. "Shh, lay back down."

"What happened?" I asked.

"It was a demon. You and Vastel have been out for three days now. We're in South America, trying to find a secluded place to stay. Everyone is in separate cars. If someone finds a good place, they'll call, tell us where to go."

"You guys split up?" I asked.

"Bells, don't worry. It's ten to a car, except for this car. We needed to separate you guys anyways..." Dominic said. "Just in case..."

"If I was demon..." I whispered. Dominic and Emmett nodded.

"But you aren't, so it's fine." Dominic said. "Now, we just need Vastel to wake up."

We continued to drive in silence. Emmett thought this house would be able to fit all of us in, but I did the numbers. There was no way we would all fit into a ten bedroom house. Not with over thirty of us.

Soon, we received a phone call from Benjamin. They found a nice house in the mountains of Salta, Argentina. There was more land than any where else, meaning there was at least some space between us from the humans, if we were to go there. We had no other choice and I didn't want to be away from the others this long. I especially was curious about my girls, I'm sure they're afraid.

Dominic turned the car around, to go to Salta Argentina. We were the furthest down, so we were bound to be the last ones showing up at the house. Emmett and Dominic were going to switch off driving. None of us wanted to stop, we wanted to get to every one else.

What I also was concerned about was Vastel. He still hasn't awaken. On top of that, he was an angel. I'm sure angels and demons can kill each other, but the demon did no damage to me, it just put me to sleep. Unless it had a different effect on Vastel. Hopefully it didn't. He is the only one who can truly help us about this.

All my life, I believed we were the only supernatural beings on this earth. Vampires and werewolves. But I was mistaken. There were demons, angels, witches, you name it. They were surrounding us and I no longer felt safe. Not only this, the love of my life was the reason why the dead can come back. He has to die, in order to close the gates of Heaven and Hell. But I wasn't going to let this happen to me all over again. Emmett's first death took me apart. Now he was destined to be killed. Someone is going to want Emmett killed, to stop all of the dead coming back. Maybe I could make a deal with Vastel. I'm sure we could do something.

"Bells?"

"Yeah?"

"You alright?" Emmett asked. "You spaced out."

"I'm fine. Just thinking." I said.

"That's not good." Emmett joked. "Usually, you're coming up with a devious plan that could get you killed. So I stop thinking. Let us handle this."

"How do you even know it was about this problem?" I tested.

"Because I know you Bells. You think, as you continuously kept pushing me away, that I wasn't observant. You throw yourself in front of runaway trains, in front of shot-gun bullets, with a plan. And that plan saves the person you want to be saved, yet it kills you. I have been there, as well as Dominic, the girls and all the other guys, to stop you from doing so. This time Bells, it's not going to work. Someone is going to get killed. You can't save everyone. I'm sorry, but it's the truth." He said.

I didn't say anything else after. Emmett was right, like he always is. He knew that I wanted to help people, to save everyone else from getting killed. But now, it was like I was being watched. I'm highly positive that Emmett has warned the others about me making a plan. Was this going to stop me? Of course not.

I was going to do everything to save Emmett.

About an hour or so, Emmett was now driving and we were still far out of Salta. When I said Emmett really wants to get to this house, Emmett really wants to get to this house. I'm sure he was going about 100 miles per hour. It was almost like I was running, just sitting or lying down. I'm surprised we haven't crashed yet or the police haven't stopped us.

"Emmett, slow down. You're making it obvious it's us." I said.

"Sorry." He mumbled.

I always complained about his driving. It was really ridiculous, really. We were going to make it there just fine, but Emmett, like always, had to make everything go by quickly. I always tell him this, "You can't slow down time, but you can slow yourself down." And then after that, Emmett would make a sex joke, which resulted in me smacking the back of his thick skull.

Another hour has passed. This time I haven't been trying to wake up Vastel. But nothing was working. What the hell is going on? He should have awaken by now.

Dominic and Emmett switched off. Emmett decided to sit in the back of the car with me. Well, lay. They took out the car seats, leaving just the front two seats.

"Still no progress?" He asked.

"None." I said. "I don't know what to do."

"Only time can tell." He said.

We ended up lying in the back. Neither of us said anything. Especially because Dominic was in the car. He was already complaining that he was stuck in the car with Emmett, who was trying to lighten the mood, like usual. Then he would complain about me. I randomly sing, either because I'm bored or annoyed. Right now, both. I swear, if Vastel doesn't wake up anytime soon, I was going to kill him myself when he wakes up. I was tired of waiting. Waiting to see if this guy, who I barely knew, would wake up.

So frustrating...

"Bells, I can see that your frustrated. He's going to wake up. Trust me on this." Emmett said. "We're not losing him. Not now."

I nodded at him and glanced at Vastel. There were no signs to tell whether he was alive or not. He was just lying there. No movement, nothing. He was truly stone. An angel, completely still. Possibly dead.

I just hope he wakes up soon. Otherwise, we lost someone who could tell us more about the demons, who were against us in this fight. None of us knew a lick about demons. Emmett was the only one who was closest to Vastel, but I'm sure I've been bothering the boys enough so they wouldn't go on their walks to talk. Dammit Bella.

"Bells..."

"Sorry." I said.

"Just relax." Emmett said. "He's going to wake up. I just know it."

Let's hope so Emmett... Let's hope so...

Vastel's POV

As much as Volterra, Italy is beautiful, I hated the fact I had to walk all the way up this damned hill to reach the Volturi. They really had to literally put themselves at the top of this hill, to make it seemed like they own the world. Really, it just pissed me off. I couldn't even run fast... Not with any of these people walking around. If there was no one here, hell yeah, I would be up at the castle. But no. The damn taxi driver had to drop me off at the bottom of this damned hill. And here I am, walking.

When I finally reached the Volturi castle, I let myself in. I wasn't going to wait for these idiots guards to open the doors for me.

Jane was the first to reach me, almost killed me, until she realized who I was. "Well, look who showed up."

I smirked at her and looked behind her. Felix and Demetri were standing there, staring at me like I was crazy.

"What brings you here?"

"Business." I said. "Why don't you take me to them?"

"Follow then." Jane said. She turned her small body around and started to walk towards the three brothers.

It was time to face Aro, Marcus, and Caius with my answer.

There was no way I was going to walk at a human's pace. I was ran straight to the elevator.

"Eager are we?" Felix asked.

"Hurry up, before I decide to kill you." I said.

We headed down in the elevator, going past a couple of floors. Really, those floors were all for the tourists... or food I should say. Really, a big waste of space. Finally, we reached the three brothers and I pushed the doors open myself.

They were sitting there, surprisingly with their wives. Usually, Athenodora, Sulpicia, and Didyme, the wives, would be up in the tower, to keep them apart from danger. But since the doors were open, I'm guessing they didn't mind them being killed. They would just come back.

"Well, look who it is..." Aro said, with that same fake smile on his face.

"Master." I said, taking a small bow.

"Skip the boring things. I want to know whether this plan worked or not." Caius said.

"Oh, trust me Master Caius. It worked." I said, smiling. "Isabella has over forty members of her side. Each of them believe demons and angels exist. And that Elijah could be one. They also believe that the gates of Supernatural world is open, which it is. They all trust me, they've been taking care of me. And they need me. The more I stay with them, the more I can elaborate what they're planning to do. They have left Tristan, went to South Africa. Salta, Argentina. Very spacious. Enough for a fight."

Caius stood up, smiling. "You never disappoint me."

"Wait, he's on our side?" Heidi asked.

"Of course, why else would he be here?" Marcus asked. He was in such a good mood, now that he's gotten his wife back.

"I'm confused. Elaborate, please."

"The only way that I would be able to destroy Isabella is to have an inside man. So we used Vastel. Vastel has a unique gift. He's a master in lying, that is, if you believe it. If you believe his lies, it comes true. When Vastel killed Emmett and talked to him in that empty field, Emmett believed every word Vastel spat out. That demons exist, that angels exist... When Vastel took him back, Emmett could trust him. Elijah is being used to cover up Vastel. Elijah isn't truly alive. We needed someone to believe that Elijah was truly alive. Of course it could be either of us, none of you guards. We used Gianna. Elijah now exists until Gianna finds out the truth of Elijah."

"Wait, so your gift can counter act?"

"Yes." I said. "Once a lie is believed, that lie will forever be there until the person or people find out the truth. Every single person has to find out about the truth or die in order for the lie to be cancelled."

"Wow." Heidi whispered.

"Elijah's being used as a cover up. Since Isabella and the others believe that demons and angels exist, they truly exist?"

"Sort of. That's the complicated part." I said. "They believe they are seeing demons and angels, truly they are not. It's just a figure of their imagination."

"And this death thing?" Alec asked. "They believe that Emmett has opened the gates to the Supernatural Grave. That's why the dead has been coming back alive."

"Yes." I said. "That's why Didyme stands next to her love."

Didyme smiled at me. Truly, I did it for Marcus. We needed him to be set straight and happy through this. Otherwise, he would have slowly slipped onto Isabella's side. I've threatened to kill her if she said anything to Marcus about her death. So far, she has been listening.

"Wow. I didn't even know." Heidi said, touching my arm, smiling.

"You make me proud." Caius said. "Find out what they're going to do next. Drive Isabella to the point of insanity. Hurt Emmett has much as you can. I want her plans to fall apart. And just when it's too much for her, we'll come in when you're ready."

I did a small bow. "Very much Masters. I have to get back to Isabella. I won't disappoint you."

Isabella's POV

I heard a small gasp as saw Vastel jerk awake. When he sat up and looked around, he looked completely confused. I was waiting for him to say something, so I could beat the hell out of him for making me wait that long for him to wake up.

"Where are we?" He asked.

"Salta, Argentina." I said, then punched the hell out of him. "That's for making me wait."

"Ow." He said, holding his head. "Sorry. Demons have a different effect on us."

I shook my head then hugged him. "I'm just glad you're okay."

"Yeah, you too." He said, patting my back awkwardly.

"If you do that again, I'll gladly kill you." I said.

He chuckled at looked at Emmett. He had this little twitch in his eye, but I was sure it was nothing.

Vastel's POV

It's time to torture you... my dear friend Emmett...
