Castle and Beckett had been married for four years; this is their story.
Castle and Beckett where halfway through their honeymoon when they found out they were pregnant. Then, a couple of weeks later, found out they were having twins.
"Twins, Castle? I could kill you!" Was Beckett's shocked reaction to the news.
The months went on, and after a long and painful labor, the twin girls were born; Blaze and Tess.
When the twins were two, they found out they were having another baby.
"Wouldn't it be funny if it were triplets?" Beckett shot Castle a death glare. "Just kidding, honey.
And nine months later, Kate gave birth to a baby boy names Joseph who they called Joey.
Ten months later, the girls were four and Joey was ten months. Beckett was in the kitchen cooking breakfast with Joey on her hip. He was playing with her hair and babbling in her ear. "Sweetie, can you please stop pulling Mommy's hair?"
Joey babbled back and tried to get down onto the ground. Beckett let him, making sure he stayed close to her.
"I'm going to get you, Blaze!" Tess declared, chasing after her sister.
"No you're not!"
"Can you girls not run in the kitchen, please?" Kate called over her shoulder.
"Tess started it."
"No, Blaze did!" Both girls were shouting, sticking their tongue at the other.
"Girls, enough, No more shouting!" Kate held a palm up, silencing them.
"Mommy, I'm hungry," Blaze complained.
"Food will be ready soon." Kate said, flipping pancakes.
"But I'm hungry now."
"Blaze, soon." Kate warned.
When the food was ready, she served the girls, both of them digging in. Then, she lifted Joey into his high chair, giving him small pieces to nibble on.
Kate stepped back and watched her kids, all three happy, healthy, and well cared for. Blaze with her long, brunette hair, hazel eyes, and outgoing personality. Tess with her similar hair, blue eyes, and tendency to be Blaze's partner in crime. And then there was Joey, with his light hair, blue eyes, and adorably cuddly personality.
They still lived in the loft, but had somehow managed to expand. Castle somehow bought the unit beside them and build outwards, creating a space that fit them all.
Alexis was living with them, trying to get over her breakup with her boyfriend. Then there was Martha who was now in a nursing home after suffering from a stroke. And lastly, Jim, who was now retired from being a lawyer, living in his cabin.
Kate finished through her checklist of her family, smiling at the thought of all of them. They were all just fine.
