Frostbite woke up, with the warm sun on her pelt. Someone had moved her into the medicine clearing. Frostbite sat up.

I get to mobilize today! And talk to more then one cat!

Frostbite got up to go find Echomoon. She stepped over Skycloud, who was sleeping.

He's been staying up to watch me, I'll leave him sleep.

She walked out of the den and took a deep breath. She got to breath fresh air again. This was her first time out in a half moon. Echomoon saw Frostbite walking out of the den and ran over.

"Are you feeling okay?"

"I will be once I stretch my legs."

"Okay, do you want someone to go with you?"

Skycloud's sleeping, he needs the sleep. I do want someone with me though. I've been with cats for a half moon! I'm not used to being alone! And there are cats trying to kill me!

"No, I'm fine." She lied.

"Alright, then off you go."

Frostbite walked out of the Skyclan camp. She walked through the trees, breathing in the wonderful scent. Then, a cat was running up to her, he was gray with cream spots.

"Hi Frostbite!"

"Hi?"

"I'm Blazeheart!"

Frostbites heart was pounding. Skycloud said that he was one of the cats trying to kill her, but which one? The one that felt guilty or the one that didn't care? Blazeheart lifted a paw, his claws unsheathed. He leaned close and whispered,

"I'm going to cut your throat a little, just to draw blood. Collapse like you're dead, Blossomstar is watching."

She nodded her head slightly but made it look like she was about to bite him. He scratched her throat, just a little, like he said. She fell over, just like planned. She stilled her breathing, just so that it wasn't noticeable. Blazeheart left and went into a nearby bush, a moment later he came out and nodded, motioning that Frostbite could get up now.

Frostbite went back to the Skyclan camp. Skycloud ran up to her.

"Why didn't you wake me up? I could have gone with you."

"You were sleeping. I didn't want to wake you up." She argued.

Skycloud saw some blood dripping from her throat.

"What happened to you? Who did this?" He demanded.

"I'm fine. He actually saved my life in a way."

"By slicing your throat?"

"Blossomstar was watching, he scraped my throat and I had to pretend to be dead."

"Fine, but who?"

"Why do you want to know?"

"He saved your life."

"Yes, and I am glad."

"Look, we have a chance to help him escape Blossomstar. I need to know who he is."

"No punishing him."

"I promise that he won't get punished."

"Fine, it's Blazeheart."

Just then, he walked through the camp entrance. He nodded towards Frostbite and kept walking. Skycloud let out a low growl.

"Skycloud, he helped me."

"He still hurt you."

"So?"

"So, you don't heal quickly."

"I can handle a scrape on the throat. It's not nearly as bad as what happened to me during the battle."

"True."

"Be nice to Blazeheart."

Fallenstar was walking past them when he realized that Frostbite had a throat wound. He ran over to her.

"What happened?"

"It's not as bad as it looks."

"Really? To me it looks like someone scratched your throat."

"Yes, someone did, but he saved me."

"Who?"

"Listen to the entire story before reacting."

"Okay."

Frostbite explained the same story that she told Skycloud. Fallenstar looked at her unbelieving.

"What? It happened!"

"Frostbite I don't believe you because you chose not to have the two cats punished for working with Blossomstar."

"That's because they haven't tried yet. The one was saving me."

"Fine, but if they do hurt you, you need to tell me the truth."

"I know."

Fallenstar walked away and left the camp. Skycloud turned towards Frostbite.

"Want me to show you around camp?"

"Yes!"

Skycloud led her around the camp, pointing out little things.

"And this is the warriors den, our apprentices make the best nests."

"Did you, when you were an apprentice?"

"No, I was a terrible apprentice. My mentor almost had to claw my ears off!"

"Ha! Same here!" Her eyes sparkled with laughter.

She leaned up against Skycloud and sat down. Then, there was a yowl coming from somewhere outside camp. Frostbite and Skycloud darted out of camp and we to where they thought they heard the yowl. Then, through some bushes, Blossomstar was leaning over Blazeheart. Threatening him.

"You lied to me. You said she was dead, but you just had her play an act. You should die for that."

She unsheathed her claws and aimed for his throat. Frostbite ran out of the bushes and rammed into her side. Blossomstar went off balance, but got up quickly, glaring at her.

"Well if it isn't the kitty warrior. You want him dead to, he was in my side first."

"So? He changed."

"He's not a warrior. Trying to kill someone."

"He's more of a warrior than you'll ever be. You killed many and sent kits into battle. He didn't."

"He's also more of a warrior than you'll ever be."

"How? I'm loyal to my clan unlike you."

"Everyone hates you because you aren't from the clans."

"Blossomstar, I've had enough of you."

Frostbite lunged forward and bit straight down next to her throat. The same place that she bit Rainstar, when she was a kit. The same place that killed Rainstar. Blossomstar fell down in agony. Frostbite watched as she suffered there, in the grass, because of her. Then, her wails fell silent. Blossomstar was dead.

Frostbite ran back to Skycloud, who waited in the bushes. Blazeheart got up slowly and started limping back to camp. Skycloud and Frostbite also walked back to camp. The two clans gasped when Blazeheart came stumbling into camp. Skycloud was the one that made the announcement.

"Blossomstar is no longer a problem. Frostbite killed her when Blossomstar tried to kill Blazeheart."

Some of his clan mates hissed.

"Blazeheart doesn't deserve to live! He tried to kill someone and was on Blossomstar's side!"

"He wasn't trying to kill me. He was trying to get it so that Blossomstar was no longer hunting me. He also didn't want to be on Blossomstar's side. Squirrelclaw forced him to."

"Who told you that?" Someone sneered.

"Blazeheart."

"And you believe him?"

"If he wanted to kill me, he would have, instead of going with the plan that he told me he would do and I believe Blazeheart more than I'll ever believe Squirrelclaw. Squirrelclaw was the one I heard that agreed with Blossomstar."

Treestar stepped forward.

"Squirrelclaw is exiled, if he is seen on our territory after dusk, punish him like you would for any intruder."

Squirrelclaw walked out of camp without looking back.

"He's probably going to go take over Blossomstar's band of rogues." Frostbite meowed.

"We should expect an attack sometime soon." Skycloud agreed.
