Frostbite woke in the medicine den. She couldn't stand up.
Not this again...
Yes, it was this again. Trapped in the medicine den, unable to move. Frostbite looked around and spotted Skycloud near her. She saw Skybound just outside the den, organizing herbs. He was murmuring to himself. Then, she heard something she didn't want to, on the other side of the den, behind the walls.
"Let's get into that medicine den. In order to kill Frostbite, we have to get past Skycloud and Fallenstar. In order to get past Skycloud we have to get past Skybound. In order to get past Skybound we have to get past Treestar, who luckily has only two lives left."
"What about Fallenstar?"
"Not sure. But we'll do this tonight! Got it? Meet here at moonrise and we'll go over the plan."
Frostbite heard the paw steps fade into the distance. She knew that she needed to tell someone, but who? Skycloud was asleep and Skybound was- Skybound! That's who she could tell! It's genius.
"Skybound." She meowed. He didn't hear her. "Skybound!" He lifted his head but looked back down. "SKYBOUND!" He turned around and saw Frostbite was awake.
"I'm sorry Frostbite, I didn't think you'd wake up today."
"What? What's that supposed to mean?"
"You fell really hard, yesterday you could barely breathe."
"Oh."
"You needed me?" He meowed as he padded over.
"Skybound there are these cats, I heard them, they left now. They're the ones that took over Thunderclan camp. They will kill Treestar, then you, then Skycloud and Fallenstar and finally me! You have to warn them, they're going to do it tonight! Please Skybound." She meowed.
"Okay I'll see what I can do."
Skybound padded out of the den and headed to Treestars den. Meanwhile Frostbite looked over at Skycloud wondering when he'd wake up. She crawled on the ground inching her way towards Skycloud. Once she was by him she curled into his side and rested her head on his back.
I'll never let them hurt you. They won't get to you.
She layed there and waited for Skybound to come with good news.
Moments later, Skybound padded into he den shaking his head.
"What is it?" Frostbite asked.
"They have a plan but I'm not sure about it."
"What's the plan?"
"Everyone they're after goes into the medicine den and the Thunderclan and Skyclan Warriors wait, hidden. They wait for the signal."
"Well we have to do the plan, but promise me that you won't let them near Skycloud. Don't let anybody lay a claw on Skycloud."
"I promise."
~~At Moonrise~~
The other cats came into the medicine den and helped Skybound guard Skycloud and Frostbite. They sat there and waited. Waited for the enemy to come. They worked out the plan and everything, hoping not to fail, or it's all over.
"Skycloud I'll protect you always." Frostbite murmured.
Skycloud started to move around. His eyes were half way open. He turned his head and looked up slightly.
"Frostbite?"
"Skycloud! You're awake!"
"Yeah, what's going on?"
So Frostbite explained it again.
Skycloud nodded."I guess whatever it takes."
Then, they heard a gruff voice outside.
"You two go to the leaders den and kill Treestar and Fallenstar. You five come with me for Skybound, Skycloud, and Frostbite."
"Why five?"
"It'll take a lot to kill Skycloud and Frostbite."
They heard the paw steps go and come as they got ready. Then there was commotion at the den entrance. Fallenstar, Treestar, and Skybound got ready. They saw two amber eyes looking at them. Frostbites heart was racing and she stared at the pair of eyes then she looked at Fallenstar, Treestar, Skybound and Skycloud.
Everyone who has ever cared about me... They're willing to die for me... And I'm willing to die for them!
