When he came back with half of the Thunderclan warriors, most of the Shadowclan and some Skyclan plus all Windclan and Riverclan, Frostbites heart dropped. She saw Leafwhisper with tears in her eyes. Frostbite walked over, unsteadily, to Leafwhisper.

"What's wrong?"

"Blazeleap's... D-dead"

"Wait, if you were battling, where are your kits? Where's Echokit, Blizzardkit and Rainkit?"

"Rainkit killed his sisters and joined the rouges."

"What?"

So that's what it meant when Blizzardrain said he was bad luck...

"Okay let's get you cleaned off."

Frostbite guided her to a puddle at the edge of the clearing. She started licking up the blood and using soaked moss to wash it. One Leafwhisper's pelt was clean she turned toward Frostbite.

"When I was kitting, I was wrong. You weren't the monster, my kit was."

"Don't worry about it, you just need a good nights sleep."

Leafwhisper walked to what Frostbite assumed was the warriors den.

Frostbite limped around the clearing looking for someone to help. Rainpaw of Windclan came over to her.

"You're injured, you should go lay down, you'll get better faster."

"I've been laying down all day! I'm not laying down again!"

"Sorry, I didn't recognize you, I last saw you right after the major injuries. Sorry."

Frostbite walked away and went to find someone. She saw a black cat huddled at the entrance to the clearing. As Frostbite got closer, she saw a ginger tail tip and only three paws. Frostbite ran closer.

"Nightfire! Are you okay?"

"I'm fine!"

"Nightfire what happened?"

"None of your business."

"I'm your friend, it's always my business."

Her father betrayed her.

Oh.

"Nightfire, you can tell me."

"Amberlight can tell you, she was there."

"She just did. Nightfire, it doesn't matter what he does."

"Really? He stood up for me whenever someone said I should've been a medicine cat! Now he betrays me!"

"Nightfire calm down." Emberstreams calm voice sounded behind her.

"Emberstream, stay out of this!" Frostbite and Nightfire hissed.

"I can't."

"Why not?" Frostbite retorted.

"You don't want me to explain."

"I think I do."

"No you don't... You'll hate it."

"How would you know? The most you've been doing lately is trying to kill me then randomly save me!"

"Skycloud told me you'd hate it."

"Fine, don't tell me. I'll ask Skycloud."

"He won't tell you."

"Just tell me, what's the worst possible thing?"

"The worst is Squirrelclaw being your father."

"Exactly, so what is it?"

Emberstream imedeatly turned around and walked away. Frostbite limped after him. She cut infront of him and stopped.

"He's my father isn't he?"

"No." He said quickly.

"Liar."

So kitty, now you're smart.

"Shut up already!"

"I didn't say anything..." Emberstream meowed.

"Not you."

"Then who?"

"Mudclaw."

"He's in your thoughts too. He's in all of ours then. Yours, mine, Nightfires, Amberlights and Skycloud's."

"Can you shut up, now?" Frostbite sighed.

"Why me?"

"Because I was fine when he only stalked me but not when I hear about my friends."

"You're mainly worried about Skycloud."

"Got proof?"

"Amberlight just told me that the second I said that the only thing that went through your head was 'oh no, not Skycloud.'"

"Amberlight!"

"Haha."

"I hate you."

"Sure you do." He meowed disbelieving.

"I do! You're evil! Don't forget where I saw you."

"Don't forget you were there to. And who helped you escape? Me! If you were mad about it, you would have told." He hissed.

Wait. What just happened?

Nothing. Nothing at all.

Frostbite turned and walked away. She walked over to Skycloud who was helping a Windclan cat. She sat down by Skycloud and started to help lick the blood off the cats fur.

"Get in a fight with Emberstream again?"

"Amberlight told you?"

"She asked me what in Starclans name is going on between you two. So I just guessed."

"He's just annoying."

"She says you're lying."

"Where in the name of Starclan is she?"

You don't realize who you're licking blood off of...

"Oh. Never mind then. Are you okay Amberlight?"

It's not my blood. It's just so sticky, I can barely walk.

"I'm going to go see if I can get some moss."

"Thanks Frostbite. There's a lot of blood here."

Frostbite ran over to the den she had stayed in for a few sunrises and found moss in a corner, next to a puddle. She soaked the moss with water and brought it out to Skycloud. They began washing the blood off of Amberlight. Once Amberlight was cleaned off, she thanked Skycloud and Frostbite, then ran to go help some cats.

"So are you going to tell me about what happened between you and Emberstream, now?"

"It's nothing, really."

"I don't believe it for a second."

"Why not?"

"For one, you are a terrible liar. And second, it's clearly something because when I said Emberstreams name, first time and just now, you growled and dug your claws into the ground."

"Oh well!"

"Frostbite, what happened?"

"He just brought up something from a while ago. It just made me mad, that's all."

"Okay, but later when I ask again, I expect to hear everything and he full truth."

"Seriously?"

"I told you, you're a bad liar."

"Fine! But he did bring up something from past that made me mad. I just can't tell the whole thing. I can tell more, but not all. I promised myself."

"Okay."
