"Raito! Dinner!"

Ten minutes later Beyond and Light had returned back upstairs to the bedroom, plates of rice balls in their hands for their dinner. Beyond closed the door once they were both in the room and sighed, carrying his plate over to the bed and plopping down on the mattress. He took a bite out of one and smiled slightly, a hum of content passing his lips. "Mm, this is good." He mumbled while peering over Light's head.

Light sat himself down where he'd been sitting before and set his plate on the table after taking a bite out of one, picking up his book and beginning to read over his essay. He sighed faintly as he corrected minor mistakes he had made and touched up his handwriting. Normally things like that kept his straight A stats. "I think your essay is good too. You certainly try harder than I ever did." B chuckled, watching him correct his mistakes.

"Of course.. I have high standards and a reputation to maintain.." The brunette told him in a distant voice, distracted with correcting the sentences he had written. "It's fun for you isn't it?" Beyond tilted his head slightly, reaching up and playing softly with Light's hair. The younger male chuckled lightly, nodding once. "Mhm. I enjoy doing essays, surprisingly." B pulled a face and shook his head, "Schoolwork is not something I enjoy." That might've been the number one thing he didn't miss about Wammy's House... Besides the people there.

Light rolled his eyes."You're not going to enjoy high school then." He scoffed lightly, correcting a few more mistakes before setting down his pencil, satisfied. "I didn't think I would." Beyond grinned and sat back on the bed, glancing down at the plate as he continued to eat. He wouldn't be surprised if he fell behind in school, since he wasn't trying anymore like he'd attempted to back then. The brunette sighed deeply, this was going to be a long term.. "Just do your best, alright? No slacking off."

"I'll try.. For you!" Beyond smiled childishly after finishing his plate, even though he knew he'd barely give any effort. Of course he'd try so that he would get to stay in Light's chances, he just wouldn't try to be top of the class anymore. "Good.." Light smiled slightly, finishing off one of his rice balls as he moved his essay aside so it wouldn't get ruined. The raven sighed and flopped back on the bed, staring at Light and everything else in the room from an upside down point of view. "What time do you go to sleep usually?"

Light glanced at the clock, reading 9pm, surprised that it had gotten so late so fast. "In an hour or so." He answered. B's eyes widened slightly, "At 10pm? Every night?" Light nodded, "Mm, except weekends." He explained, standing from his seat at his desk. "I don't even think I could fall asleep that early." Beyond commented, shutting his eyes. The blood was starting to rush to his head, it was a funny feeling that made him smile slightly.

Light sat on the edge of the bed, raising a brow at the raven and watching him curiously. "What're you doing?" He questioned. "Try it." B smiled and patted the spot next to him, laughing lightly. The brunette sighed faintly, climbing over Beyond into the spot next to him and copying the way he was laying. He was probably losing brain cells doing this. Beyond grinned and grabbed his hand. "It feels funny." He didn't care how childish he was acting, he just felt more comfortable this way. He hated acting serious, it just made him depressed again.

"Yeah.. It does." Light chuckled softly, light brown hair falling away from his eyes and dangling loosely over the edge of the bed. "Woah, dizzy." Beyond blinked and sat up, holding onto the edge of the bed for support. He laughed as the room seemed to spin around him. Light snickered to himself, amused by his childishness, turning his head slightly so he could watch the older male. B clutched his head for a few seconds until he was no longer dizzy then smiled. The simple things amused him. "Aren't you dizzy?" "Mm..A bit." The brunette laughed as he sat up, brown eyes unfocused as the room spun.

Beyond chuckled and held onto Light's shoulder, "You never did that when you were a kid?" Light shook his head slowly, "I missed out on a lot of things as a kid due to my poor health." The brunette sighed faintly. "Poor health?" He raised an eyebrow, asking the younger to elaborate. "Yeah.. As a child, I was always sick and too weak to do much physical stuff. So that's why I study a lot.. Since I couldn't participate in sport, I taught myself the things I didn't understand in class.. And extra work on top of that." The brunette shrugged slightly with a small smile. "I'm fine now, though."

"Oh, okay. Well if it makes you feel any better, I didn't do any physical sporty stuff either." Beyond shrugged and smiled, kissing his forehead. "Hm.. Really? How c- Stop doing that!" Light flustered, raising a hand to his forehead. "Why?" B laughed, brushing his hair out of his eyes. He loved Light's reaction. "I-I don't know.." Light huffed slightly, flushing a shade of red as he turned his head away.

"I love making Raito flustered." The raven smirked, wrapping his arms around his waist from behind as he kissed his neck. Light blinked slightly at the use on his nickname, he liked how it sounded with Beyond's voice, forgetting that he was flustered for a moment before a kiss was pressed to his neck, causing him to gasp softly. Beyond chuckled lowly, kissing softly from his ear down his neck to his collarbone. Light felt entirely flushed, like every kiss was leaving hot shivers on his skin."Wh-What're you doing?" He stuttered. "Seducing you, is it working?" B mumbled against his skin, nibbling softly on his collarbone. Of course that was a rhetorical question, he could tell by Light's reaction that it was.

Light could barely hold back a shudder, causing him to bite his lip softly. This was definitely flustering him more than a kiss to his forehead.. Beyond chuckled, taking that as a yes. He started sucking on his neck, creating a small love bite. The brunette closed his eyes as a soft groan emitted through his lips. "B..That's enough.." He sighed out. "I know.." Beyond sighed and pulled away from the spot on his neck, loosening his grip on his waist. Light sighed faintly. "I'm sorry.." He mumbled, still slightly flushed as he looked down at his lap.

"Nah, I'm sorry. I can't help it sometimes." The raven smiled sheepishly and kissed his cheek. Light glanced up at him through auburn hair. "You can't..?"

"I'm human, aren't I? Wait.. Don't answer that." Beyond chuckled lightly and rubbed the back of his neck. The brunette smiled softly and kissed him gently, "Did you want to borrow some of my clothes for bed? I have spare sets of school clothes aswell that might fit you aswell." "Yeah, thanks." Beyond smiled and nodded, pulling his hoodie sleeve. "We wear uniforms?"

"Of course. It's a fairly uniform-strict school. Though Wednesday and Thursday it's free choice clothing days." Light smiled and stood from his bed, looking into his closet for the proper clothes. "Oh, can I see it?" Beyond raised his eyebrows, curious to see what he'd be wearing. He put his thumb to his bottom lip as he watched the other, glancing quickly down at his own hoodie. He wasn't used to wearing anything else. Light nodded. "Its nothing too.. Schoolish, as a friend of mine worded it. Just a simple white button up shirt, a red tie and tan-coloured pants. There's a jacket for winter aswell.. Not sure where that is though.." He mumbled, pointing out the school uniform which was hung up behind his door as he looked for other clothes.

"Hm.." B tilted his head and bit his thumb nail as he eyed the outfit up and down. "Interesting." He nodded in approval. Light threw a black sweater, a shirt and a pair of grey sweatpants onto the bed for Beyond to change into."I'm going to go talk to Sayu while you get changed, alright?" "Alright." B smiled, a bit glad he didn't have to change in front of Light since he hated the scars on his chest. He picked up the sweatpants with one hand and already started taking off his own jeans.

Light left the room, closing the door behind him and walking to the door across from his, knocking on it softly. B listened quietly from Light's room, lifting off his hoodie. He sighed and looked in the mirror, lightly tracing his scars with his finger.

Sayu answered the door and smiled at her older brother, "Hi Light!" Light smiled kindly. "Hello.. I just wanted a word with you.. Are you busy?" He questioned. "No, come in." She smiled and held the door open for him. The brunette slowly walked in, sitting down on her bed with a soft sigh.

"It's concerning Kira...

Or rather...

Me."
