Hey, guys. I know I've been AWOL for too long, but bear with me, I was in a medically induced coma, since after teh couple dozen Cardiac arrests I've had, my heart refused to heal and my lungs were giving out... :l

Drabble: Door
Christian had been entrusted with the duty of inviting Dimitri and Rose – His and Lissa's Guardians, respectively – for a formal dinner, because his beloved girlfriend was too busy.
He sighed as he turned a corner and dragged himself across Court over to Dimitri's apartment there – he knew they weren't at Rose's because that one was just across the hall from Lissa's.
Christian was happy for Lissa, he truly was. She seemed happy and satisfied; he knew she felt that by being a good Queen, she would restore her family's honor.
Yet, he rarely got to see her. And that pained him.
No matter how happy he was when Lissa passed the Law, allowing Moroi Magic to be used as a defense, he was upset because not only did it clash – mostly – with Lissa's schedule, but it made him all the more busy; Ergo, depriving them of personal time.
They hadn't had sex in two weeks!
Christian sighed once again, as he pushed open the door to Dimitri's apartment, only to stop before he got it open all the way, because he could hear sounds that he could've lived his whole life without hearing; guttural moans and erratic moans.
He felt his eyes widen and he hurriedly took a step back and closed the door hastily. Apparently, Rose and Dimitri still found time to keep their sex life alive.
With that, Christian felt his resolve strengthen and he began trudging back towards the Royal Suite to reconnect with the love of his life. But, not before he took of his silk tie and draped it on the door knob.
He'll be sure to remember to lock the door this time.
