Mikoto jumps from branch to branch, avoiding exploding daggers. She counters with multiple bolts of electricity that Kanon avoids easily. The young woman dashes forward with a paper sword in hand. Mikoto blocks with her iron sand sword, the electromaster fires a bolt from her hair. The woman jumps and throws more paper daggers. Mikoto extends her sword into a whips and swings it into all the daggers, exploding them all.
On the forest floor Touma powers through Sienna's wind and the debris that it blows upwards. He jumps for a punch aimed at Sienna's face. Sienna redirected his fist and moved the side, she spins to deliver a roundhouse kick to the back of Touma's head. The boy stumbles a bit but doesn't fall. He straightens up and charges again. He pulls back his right arm, the girl readies to deflect his right fist again, but Touma pulls up his left fist instead. Sienna realizes it too late, her block is broken by a left uppercut, and her balance is lost. Touma follows up with his right hand. Sienna blows herself away with her wind, completely avoiding the right hand, but her feet hit a tree root and she crashes into the ground.
Touma hears more explosions above him. He looks up to see Mikoto falling through black clouds and onto the ground. "Misaka!"
Mikoto quickly readies herself for landing. But so does her opponent. As soon as Mikoto lands, she's surrounded by floating paper with marks on them.
Kanon lands on the forest floor across from Mikoto with her arms wide, "Goodbye." She crosses her arms as she snaps her fingers.
Mikoto is covered in explosions. Kanon relaxes her arms and waits. A black cloud covers the area where the explosions swallowed Mikoto.
"[Kanon!]" Sienna runs towards her partner.
"[Sienna, where's the Imagine Breaker?]"
"[I don't know, I lost sight of him.]"
"[You what?]" Kanon turns her head to the black cloud.
Touma runs out of the cloud towards the two of them. Kanon and Sienna readies themselves for Touma, but not Mikoto. Touma steps to the side as the electromaster fires large bolts from inside the black cloud. Sienna is blasted back by a bolt. Kanon had a shield to block the bolts, but it shatters with a touch of Touma's right hand. Touma takes Kanon by complete surprise, he steps in and unleashes a full force straight punch to her face. Kanon's body is knocked backwards nearby Sienna.
"[Kanon!]" Sienna calls out.
"[I'm alright,]" Kanon replies as they both get up. "[But that girl's power, I sensed no magic from it.]"
Mikoto walks up beside Touma. "You didn't have to jump in."
"I was worried about you."
"Wha-" Mikoto flusters up. "I-I can take care of myself! Idiot!"
A gush of wind blows hard on all four of them.
"What the heck?" Mikoto catches her footing and covers her eyes with her elbow.
"This is... Sterling's wind!" Touma notes.
"How can you tell?" Mikoto asks.
"I can't," Touma answers while looking at his hand. "I think Sterling's in trouble. Let's go!"
"Wait! What about-?" Mikoto turns to their opponents, but they've disappeared. There was only one place they could've gone to. "Lilian!"
Then the earth started to rumble beneath their feet. Then it shakes violently.
"An earthquake? Now?" Mikoto stumbles about trying hold her footing. She's failing and flopping about.
"Misaka!" Touma rushes back just as she falls over. Her body hits his and they tumble down. "Ow ow ow..."
"A-ah!" Mikoto tries to get up, but the rumbling forces her to fall on top of him again.
"Oof!"
"S-Sorry!" Mikoto grabs hold of the nearest tree to pull herself up, more rumblings cause her to stumble but not fall. "This earthquake isn't natural."
"It must be their Admiral," Touma tells her. "We need to hurry!"
Touma leads the way through the intense wind, with Mikoto directly behind him.

"Ah!" Rutile jumps back as a string of firecrackers pops, continuously, and seems to chase her. "Aaah!" The little girl runs away from the popping. She hides behind Wannai as the last few crackers pop.
"Hehehee," Wannai giggles. "You need to be more careful Miss Sopheria."
After one last pop, Rutile stood up straight and scratched the back of her head while putting on a very big smile. "Heeheehee... I guess I did get a little too excited, really."
"Hey, where's your friend?" Awatsuki asks.
"She said she's heading into town to party," Rutile answers. "And that the people she wants to hang out are the kind I wouldn't like. Really."
"Uhh..." Wannai and Awatsuki look at each other, with no idea what to say to Rutile.
A sudden gust of cold wind blows through the area, causing all the girls to cover themselves with their arms.
"Where did this wind come from?" Wannai asks out loud.
"Looks like the weather forecast was wrong again," Awatsuki replies. "Let's get inside!"
Everyone on the beach was thinking the same thing, they were all heading back. But Rutile stood still, facing the wind.
"Miss Sopheria!" Wannai calls out.
"This is..." Rutile breathes in deep. "Magic... Lilian..."

"Wait!" Touma hold Mikoto back a bit.
"What is it?" Mikoto strains her eyes against the wind. She sees two figures flying right at them. Kanon and Sienna. "Again?" The electromaster braces herself for another battle, but the strong winds and rumbling earth make it difficult to do so.
"Hold on," Touma motions his hand to stop her. He waits for the two figures to get closer, closer. Mikoto sparks up.
Both Kanon and Sienna rush past them without looking, and just keep on going.
"Huh?" Mikoto is puzzled at the development. "What's going on?"
A loud breaking noise gets their attention. A large tree is falling down on top of them. Mikoto pulls out a coin, but is grabbed by Touma and yanked away. The tree crashes onto the ground.
"What was that for?" Mikoto angrily asks.
"We still don't know what's up ahead. Don't let them know we're here yet."
"They already know! We just fought a couple of them idiot!"
"Then let's take them by surprise as quick as we can!" Touma runs ahead.
"H-hey!" Mikoto gets to her feet and rushes after him.
They run quickly to the source of the wind and quakes. They see a large man with a glaive, standing over a much smaller girl. He rears back his fist and punches downward. The girl explodes in wind and ice spikes. The large man steps back, his arm is covered in ice that he shatters with a swing of his arm. The girl emerges from the ice spikes, covered in a long, winding, serpentine shell and charges the large man.
The mouth of the shell opens, showing its icicle teeth. The man tosses his glaive into the air and grabs the top and bottom jaw. His feet tears up the ground as the ice beast pushes him back. With a battle cry, the man completely destroys the ice beast by tearing apart the jaw.
The girl is exposed but doesn't stop. She forms ice claws and swipes at the man's chest. The claws were powerful enough to cut deep into his chest.
"Rngh!" The large man grabs the girl, and tosses her aside, she forms an ice shell just before crashing through a tree, causing it to crash down. The massive glaive nears the ground and the man catches it like it was nothing.
"Lilian!" Mikoto yells out. "Why you-!" She pulls out a coin and sparks up greatly.
The large man notices her electricity and raises his free hand.
"Take this!" Mikoto fires her railgun at him. The coin flies at mach 3, with a large shockwave rushing outwards from it.
The large man catches the coin and withstands the following shockwave.
"No way..." Mikoto eyes widened, staring into the glaring eyes of the man she just tried to attack.
"Rrraagh!" Touma had drastically closed the distance during Mikoto's attack. He rears his right hand and unleashes a powerful punch.
The large man merely moves the handle of his glaive into way of Touma's attack.
"Aah!" Touma jumps back and blows his hand, and waves it in the air. "That's a real weapon?"
A massive gust of wind blows from behind the large man. Lilian levitates above them all, mist whirls all around her body in a serpentine shape. Icicles rain down on all three of them.
"What?" Touma dodges to the side, and keeps dodging.
"Lilian! What are you doing?" Mikoto shoots down several icicles with her electric bolts.
"Ngh!" The large man swings his glaive, a shockwave follows his swing, shattering several dropping icicles.
Lilian dives as the around her hardens into the ice snake. She goes straight for Mikoto. The shell bears its really sharp and jagged teeth.
"Lilian?" Mikoto steps back, but charges up. "Don't make me do this!"
"Misaka!" Touma rushes back as quick as he could.
Lilian doesn't stop and continues flying. Mikoto continues to gather more and more power into herself.
"Lilian!" Mikoto opens her hand and gathers a large amount of electricity onto it.
"Miss Misaka! Don't!" A familiar voice yells out.
Mikoto turns to the source of the voice, it was a girl that looks like Lilian, but completely made of ice, but missing an arm, and several icicles impaled into her body and limbs. The ice girl swings her arm, several jagged icicles erupt form the ground in the way of the flying serpentine beast. The beast stops and hesitates. The ice girl swings her arm again, more icicles spike out from the ground underneath the snake. The beast flies upwards and roars at the ice girl, strong winds blow out from the monster.
"Isolde! Please! Listen to me!" The ice girl pleads with the other girl inside the monster. The beast floats in the air, observing the four before it. And it hovers around, while seemingly keeping an eye on all of them.
"I already told you," the large man slams the ground with the butt end of his weapon, the following shockwave shatters the icicles that the ice girl created. "She can no longer hear you, she's been completely taken over by the Leviathan's power."
"I'm not giving up! There has to be a way to get her back! I know it! Admiral Gates! Tell me what you know!"
"Hmm..." The large man rubs his chin. "If you want her to regain control, then you will have to overcome the Leviathan's power without harming her body. A task that's hard in of itself, but you're running out of time."
"What are you talking about?"
"Do you see her arm?"
The ice girl, Mikoto, and Touma all look at the girl inside the hovering ice beast. One of her arms seemed to have turned into pure ice.
"The Leviathan's power is not only taking her mind, soon it will also transform her body. As her mind and body erode, the Leviathan's power grows ever stronger."
"She's turning into ice? Like me?"
"No, you're different. You still have your own essence. Glacies' daughter is losing hers. Her guilt and her anger overwhelmed her mind, it broke her. In order to get her back, you must break the Leviathan's power."
"Excuse me," Mikoto interrupts. "Would someone please tell me what's going on here?"
"Miss Misaka..." the ice girl addresses the electromaster. "It's really hard to explain, even I don't know what happening."
"You're... Lilian?" Mikoto asks.
"... Yes," the ice girl nodded. "I don't know how, I was forced out of our body. And I turned into this."
"Your arm..." Mikoto points.
"I know," Lilian answers. "But if I try to remake it, it's just a solid, unmoveable arm. I have no idea how to make moving ice."
"So the one inside that thing is the other Sterling?" Touma asks.
"Yeah, that's Isolde," Lilian answers. "Before we separated, she was losing herself. It was all of her guilt, regret and anger that's been building up for many years."
"Guilt, regret and anger?" Mikoto repeats. "Over what?"
"... I can't say. It has to be Isolde." Lilian answers. "It's too personal."
"Oh... I'm... I'm sorry..."
"Don't worry, now's not the time. Right now we have to save her from her powers."
"Save her from her powers?" Touma asks as he looks at the circling ice snake as wind continues to blow from it. "How?"
"I... I don't know..." Lilian answers solemnly. "I don't even know if there's anything that I can do. There has to be a way."
The beast roars again. All four of them turn their heads towards it, against the wind. They see pockets of whirling winds around its body.
"Here it comes!" The admiral warns everyone.
The whirling winds shoot out a barrage of icicles. Admiral Gates punches the air, cracking it and creating destructive shockwaves hitting several icicles, turning them into dust clouds. Mikoto unleashes electrical blasts to shoot down several more.
Isolde creates a thick wall to block some more, but her wall is weaker than the icicles. The bombardment breaks through her wall of ice. Touma jumps in front of her and stops all the icicles with his right hand.
"Are you alright?" Touma asks Lilian.
"... I've never felt so helpless..." Lilian tells him. She looks up as Mikoto and Gates attacks the rain of icicles, "I've never been able to match up to Isolde. But I was always there for her when she needed it. Now she needs me more than ever, and I can't even get close."
"You're not alone anymore," Touma tells her. "Neither is your sister."
"Sister? ... Yeah, we're sisters."
Mikoto facepalms. "Oh brother."
The beast howls again. Some kind of fin wings burst out from its back, and Isolde's other arm begins to fade into ice. The wind picks up, below the monster ice spikes out of the ground in their direction. Admiral Gates steps in front of the three students to gather power at the blade of his glaive, and swings it at the emerging wave of ice spikes. The shockwave destroys all of the ice, shaking the ground causing Touma, Mikoto and Lilian to lose their footing.
The beast dives down, roaring once again, but it shoots out a huge cyclone of wind from its mouth. Admiral Gates punches the air again, the air cracks, sending a shockwave that intercepts the cyclone. The monster dives below the shockwave and swings its tail at the large man. The Admiral quickly swings his glaive in response. The pole arm shatters the beast's tail, sending ice scales flying as shrapnel. The monster flies forward, stretching its fins like wings as the Admiral prepares himself.
The monster swings its wings against the Admiral's weapon. The wings stayed whole, made of much stronger ice than the tail. The beast growls at the Admiral's strength, mist flowing out of its mouth. It overpowers Admiral Gates, leaving him wide open for another attack from its other fin wing. The large man is sent flying from the monster's immense strength.
"Admiral!" Lilian cries out as the large man crashes into a wooden building.
"Get back you two!" Mikoto jumps ahead and gathers intense electricity between her hands.
"Miss Misaka! What are you doing?" Lilian cries out before noticing the ice beast flying right at them.
"Hrrraah!" Mikoto throws her power orb at the charging beast.
The electrical ball rams right into the monster's head, exploding on impact and destroying the top half of its head. But it doesn't stop, a massive surge of wind blows ahead of it, forcing Mikoto block and hold her footing.
"Misaka!" Touma cries out worriedly.
The wind intensifies suddenly, blowing the Tokiwadai girl back, flying past Touma and Lilian.
"Miss Misaka!" Lilian yells, she started to chase after Mikoto, but stops when she notices that Mikoto's arms were being covered in spiked ice.
"W-what is this?" Mikoto panics, she sends electricity into the ice to try and shatter it. But the ice grows faster than she can shatter it.
Touma braced himself for a confrontation with the charging beast. The monster's head and tail were regenerating rapidly. It swings a fin at Touma, the boy raises his right palm against it. The palm completely shatters the fin, as well as a good portion of its body where the fin came out off. The beast tries swinging its other fin, Touma blocks with his right hand again, the fin and part of its body shattered again. It spins its regrown tail around, Touma's hand destroys that too. Finally it dives with its teeth bared. Touma jumps backwards as the fangs closed where he was standing. He punches the beast's nose, completely destroying the last of the monster shell and exposing Isolde.
Isolde hovers in front of Touma. Both of her arms had become ice, and it's creeping past her shoulders. Her feet had started to turn into ice. All four limbs had fins sticking out, and her eyes were still the crystalline flowers. Touma is hesitant to attack, not sure what to make what's in front of him. Isolde howls in his face and sings one of her arms, forming a fin blade. Touma reactively brings his arm up to stop her arm. The ice arm shatters all the way up to her shoulder.
"What?" Touma jumps back in surprise.
Isolde screams out in an inhuman wail of pain and agony. She then glares extremely angrily at Touma, while her broken arm starts to reform. The wild girl charges with her other arm stretched out with a fin blade. Touma readies himself to counter at first, an ice wall traps Isolde's arm and stops her.
"Kamijou!" Lilian runs up beside him. "You need to go and help Miss Misaka!"
"Misaka?" Touma turns around and sees Mikoto being encased in ice. "Misaka!"
The ice wall starts to crack from Isolde's power.
"Hurry!" Lilian runs to Isolde just as the ice wall is destroyed. Lilian uses her wind to blow herself forward as hard as she can, tackling Isolde away. Touma rushes over to Mikoto as fast as he can.
Lilian and Isolde roll over each from the impact. One of Lilian's legs shatters into tiny pieces while they rolled. As they slowed, Lilian did her best to stay on top. Upon stopping from the last roll, Lilian was on top of Isolde's body, and she crawled up to sit on Isolde's torso with her arm placed just under the other girl's neck.
"Isolde! Stop! Please!" Lilian screams as the other girl struggles. Lilian anchors herself to the ground with ice constructs, as well as constantly pinning Isolde by making and remaking . "Isolde! I'm here Isolde! Listen to me! Hang in there!"
Isolde suddenly stops struggling, Lilian can see some confusion on Isolde's face. But there was also pain. Lilian knew it won't be long before the monster comes back, "I'm sorry Isolde... this is all that I can do for you."
Touma touches the ice covering Mikoto. All of it shatters into nothing. Mikoto coughs out hard.
"Are you okay?" Touma asks her while he helps her up.
"I-I'm fine," Mikoto looks around. "Where's Lilian?"
Touma looks in the direction where he saw Lilian last. Mikoto follows gaze to see Lilian on top of Isolde with a bunch of ice keeping them to the ground. Isolde stabs Lilian with her reformed ice arm. Lilian's ice body completely shatters and an immense wind blows out from Isolde.
"Lilian!" Mikoto steps forward but is held back by Touma.
Isolde starts to float up to her feet. The wind blows even harder from her. A new body of ice starts forming around her, the same serpentine shape. Much larger than before, it is easily three times bigger.
"What now?" Touma asks Mikoto, but the girl's shock took her legs away and she crumbled.
"Now there is no other choice," Touma and Mikoto hear the large man walk up behind them. "The Leviathan's power has already gotten this powerful and must be stopped, no matter how it's done."
"..." Touma gives the man a hard look. "You're the Admiral of those two from before."
"My name is Edward Gates," the man introduces himself. "So you're the Imagine Breaker, I've heard a lot about you. But now is not the time." The Admiral walks forward.
"Where are you going?" Touma asks.
"This doesn't concern you," the Admiral tells him. "This is a problem from a long time ago, in another country."
"Like hell it doesn't!" Touma retorts. "This whole incident started with you guys trying to kill me! You brought her past back to her! You were the ones that she was after! I don't know what kind of past she has with you or your country, and I don't care. What I do know is that Sterling did everything she can to get her back to normal. I'm not going give up either."
"There is no more reason to try and save that girl, I am going to end Glacies' nightmare now."
"No!" Mikoto suddenly screams as a wall of ice forms in front of the Admiral. "Isolde's still in there! She heard me, I know it!"
"Misaka?" Touma looks at her in confusion.
"W-what's going on?" Mikoto suddenly has a look of confusion about her.
"S-sorry Miss Misaka. I was trying to talk to everyone but no one could hear me. I tried getting closer to your ear, b-but I think I went too far."
"Y-You're inside me?! You're possessing me?! H-How?!"
"Umm... magic?"
"Magic?" Touma is suddenly on alert. "Sterling wait! Don't use magic in Misaka's body!"
"Huh? What?"
"Using magic is fatal to Espers."
"I-it is?!" Lilian's voice panics.
"?!" Mikoto also panics.
"She'll be fine," The Admiral tells them. "That girl is using her own mana, not the body's. She only needs a body, any kind of body, to use her magic, remember her ice form? She's a special case anyway, she's an entirely different life on her own. Born from a mother's wish."
The monster before them roars out as loud as it could. Its large body hovers in place, inside is Isolde, the ice on her legs has already crept up beyond her knees, her torso and head remained unchanged, for now.
"... Very well. For Glacies' sake, I will give you one last chance," Admiral Gates tells her and breaks the ice wall with his fist. "I will hold it off."
"Admiral," Lilian starts to speak as the large man begins walking to the monster, but she doesn't know what words to use.
"I too, bear some guilt," the Admiral kept walking without looking back. "This is the least that I owe Glacies. Figure out how to save her, or else there will be no one left to save."
The Admiral speeds up, then goes into a full on run. The monster sees him and roars. It dives towards the Admiral baring its fangs. Gates stops, puts one foot forward, rears back his glaive, gathers his power into the blade and swings with all his strength into the large beast's mouth.
The impact creates a massive shockwave, the ground shakes violently. Touma and Mikoto have trouble holding their balance. Touma drops to one knee and touches the ground. The area they're standing on stops shaking, but the area around them still shook, large chunks of earth rip up from the ground.
Touma and Mikoto see that the monster's head is completely broken apart. It spins around to swing its tail. Gates jumps up with surprising height for a man his size. He focuses his power at the heel of his foot and dive kicks the monster's torso. Shards of ice break off, leaving a crater in the body of the beast. The earth also breaks apart heavily. Geysers of water spew out from underground.
The monster twists its body to knock Gates off of it. The Admiral rolls onto the ground and turns around, he notices the water splashing all over the ice beast. Everywhere the water landed, the ice reformed faster, and the monster seemed to have regained its stamina.
(Water regenerates it? So the legends are true about that at least. I need to stop that water.) Gates punches the ground, small shockwaves seal up the gushing water.
The monster flies back with its fins stretched out. Gates swings his glaive against the fin, the weapon merely deflects the ice away. The beast keeps flying through, swinging its tail at the Admiral. Gates punches the tail with his power, large chunks of ice break and fly like bullets.
Lilian quickly creates a wall to protect herself, Mikoto and Touma from the shards of ice. They see the monster turn its body around, its head has mostly regenerated completely. The beast howls at the Admiral, while pockets of whirling winds unleash a hail of icicles. Gates stabs the butt end of his weapon into the ground and crosses his arms. He smashes the air beside him, the air cracks greatly, the shockwaves fly in all directions easily wiping out the first wave of icicles.
Gates follows up with a flurry of flying fists, constantly smashing the air and sending shockwaves. The monster continues to fire icicles, along with a massive wind blast from its mouth. The assault pushes back the Admiral's attacks slowly. Gates smashes the ground with both hands, creating a large barrier of earth that blocks the monster's attacks. He grabs his glaive, gathers a lot of power onto the blade and swings it at the earth barrier. The wall is broken apart, its chunks and pieces fly forward towards the monster and its attacks. Gates grips his weapon and runs forward to confront the creature once more.

"That's insane," Mikoto watches in awe.
"And he's still holding back," Lilian tells her.
"He can't hold it for long," Touma informs. "We need to plan quickly."
"Kamijou, you're the only one that can stop that thing without hurting her," Lilian speaks through Mikoto's mouth.
"Why did I have a feeling it'd be something like that?" Mikoto herself interrupts.
"Huh?" Lilian's surprise escaped the electromaster's lips.
"Don't mind it," Touma dismisses the question. "Sterling, are you talking about my right hand?"
"Yeah, when she was affected earlier, I'm sure she was able to hear me, even if it's just for a moment."
"But..."
"I know..." Lilian solemnly stops his train of thought. "With how much of her body she's already lost. You might end up... killing her." Half of Mikoto's face begins to tear up.
"Lilian..." Mikoto tries to comfort her.
"I'm okay," Lilian tells the electromaster. "I have to stay strong, for myself, and for Isolde."
"Alright, let's do this," Touma tells them.

Admiral Gates slides backwards with his feet and glaive digging into the ground, sending up chunks of earth. It takes a lot of strength to stop himself, but he gets up quickly. The large serpentine beast slithers on the ground, it bares its fangs. Gates gathers energy into his glaive and waits. He sees Isolde inside the monster.
"[It's a cruel fate to be raised only to fight...]"
Gates grips his weapon tighter.
"[But being born just to be killed is even crueler.]"
Gates swings his weapon, sending his power into the monster's mouth. The beast's head explodes into tiny shards, yet the body doesn't stop. Gates jumps aside while knocking the monster away from himself. He launches a shockwave at the beast's torso, the ice shatters all the way around, breaking the body in half.
Isolde and her headless, tailless ice monster body flies back up to the sky. Its head begins to reform quickly, the girl inside stares at her opponent. As Gates readies to launch another shockwave bomb at it, he notices the clouds gathering above them, bright flashes flicker inside as thunder booms. He smiles wide.
A large thunderbolt strikes the ice beast, destroying the reforming head once more. The beast felt the impact, it fell slightly before struggling to stay afloat. A large crack forms down the middle of the monster, separating the left and right halves, the crack heals slowly as mist flows out from it. Gates sees Touma run full burst right towards Isolde. The monster torso blows an intense wind, and forms whirling pockets of mist around itself.
Touma puts his right hand in front of his face to cancel any wind headed in his direction. The whirling winds launch a rain of icicles. Gates swings his weapon, letting his shockwave bomb fly towards the hail of icicles. The bomb explodes, destroying all the icicles with enough power left over to knock around the beast's torso a bit.
The monster's body straightens out quickly. It sees Touma getting ever closer and tries to fly upwards. A powerful, large beam of light crosses its path, stopping it. It turns to the source of the light and it is hit by another beam of light. The ice body splits in two from the massive crack, exposing Isolde's body, which is now just her head and upper torso, while the rest is ice.
Isolde's head looks at the battlefield. It sees Gates and Mikoto, however Touma was nowhere to be found. Platforms of ice fall from above. She turns her head up, Touma had jumped off from a freshly made floating ice platform, he is falling her in her direction. Touma rears back his right hand and twists his body around to face Isolde.
"Don't think you're the only one with a troubled past! While you may carry it with you, remember your life after your past! Remember your joy! Your happiness! Your sister!"
Touma swings his arm forward, his fist tightly clenched.
"Mother..."
Touma's hits Isolde's face, not holding back. There was the sound of glass shattering, and the impact of a fist. Both bodies tumble in midair towards the ground. The crystalline ice flowers in Isolde's eyes shattered, turning back into her normal red eyes, displaying great shock. Her eyes then close as she falls, exhausted.
Touma rolls on the ground, Isolde's back hits the earth. She doesn't move, or react to the fall. But most of her body, still made of ice, cracked heavily.
"Isolde!" Lilian yells out through Mikoto's mouth. She rushes over as fast as she can.

Author: This fight was a lot more difficult to pull off than I thought. Not much you can do with a wild animal. Also, the dragon didn't seem to be as powerful as I would've liked, though the excuse of Isolde still trying to fight it was a little flimsy. I didn't want to go overboard with it just yet, there's more to Lilian/Isolde's story after all.
