Hello there! :3 Sorry! Sorry! Sorry! Sorry! I've had really tough couple of months. But I will try to finish this story in a couple of days. :)

"Get away from him!" I screamed and like a deranged wolf pounced upon the happy couple. Taking Kaffei by the collar of his shirt, I pulled him brusquely. Not caring if by accident I broke his neck with the force of it. My whole body was filled with the scorching fire of jealousy; filled with untamable fury. Inside my mind, the only thought that existed was that Link was mine, solely and irrevocably mine. I wasn't about to allow any fucking vixen to steal what had my name all over it. I wasn't about to allow any other bastard to touch even a single hair of his body. Nobody was even allowed to look at him. That neck that was being kissed was a territory that belonged to no other than me. Those hands that roamed that white and delicate canvas, should be my hands. The name that came out of those rosy lips, its meant to be my name. The poor guy didn't even see it coming. He just felt the cold and cruel floor kiss his ass and the painful sensation of my foot burying itself on its thigh.

"Hey what gives!" The purple-haired and red-eyed fellow complained from the floor. He scrambled, albeit painfully so, and took me by my shirt, his other hand clenched ready to punch me. Sadly for him I was prepared. As soon as I saw the punch coming, I grasped it and bent his arm behind his back. His pain filled scream was music to my ears.

"How much does he owe you?" I hissed at his ear while I pushed him towards the door; my grip on his arm intensifying every time I felt him resist.

"Fcuk you!" He yelled and spat on my face. The fierce fury within me increased.

"How much does he owe you, you piece of shit!?" I hollered and twisted his arm forcefully. His scream was sugar to my otherwise black coffee.

"SHIT! FIVE HUNDRED! FIVE HUNDRED!" I pushed him sharply, his ankle twisting over his weight and falling face first against the mold infested floor of the hallway. I took out my wallet and threw at him his filthy money as if he were one common whore.

"Go away!" I snarled and closed the door on his face. Once that problem was resolved, I turned towards the pebble in the shoe, the most excruciating pain in the ass, the thorn in my tongue. He was trying to get comfortable on the bed, panting probably because of the everlasting ache of his leg. Sighing, I took out my cellphone. My eyes came and went from Link to the keys. His silhouette in bed was so fragile, so delicate, of black and red. His ice cold blue eye that looked at me with contempt, with pain, with anguish. With supplicate, with longing, with desire. An eye that with just landing on me made me doubt. Doubt myself. Doubt the world. Doubt Aerith. Doubt my very own existence. It tormented me at nights. It drugged my days. Link resembled a vine. A creeper that once planted in my mind went slowly along its curves and crevices, taking over slowly. Its stems possessing every thought. Its leaves covering my senses. Its roots making my very soul exist for it.

"Hello. 911, what's your emergency." A voice said at my ear.

"Yes. Yes. Hello. I need an ambulance." Desperation laced every syllable. My breath coming in short and raspy intakes.

"Were are you?" The voice at the phone asked, the sound of a keyboard being used followed the voice. The worry on it was palpable.

"The apartment building Stock Pot Inn, a the East Zone. Please! Hurry! A man is seriously hurt." I pleaded and started to imitate hyperventilation to give even more credibility to my perfect acting. "GOD! THERE IS SO MUCH BLOOD! His...His leg...HIS LEG IS BROKEN!"

"Sir! Please calm down. The ambulance its on its way." The voice calmly answered, hoping to appease my "supposedly" nervous self. I don't deny that I was worried about Link, but so far he seemed to be faring pretty decently.

"There's too much blood. Please! Please! Please...get here soon." I claimed in between fake sobs.

"Don't worry, sir. We'll get there soon. Just remain where you are. Everything will be fine." And after the voice's encouraging words, the person hung up. I sighed and combed my hair with my fingers.

" You are one hell of an actor, you know that?" An annoyed and icy voice commented.

"Heh...If I wasn't, they wouldn't believe shit about your life-death condition." I drew nearer to Link who finally had managed to lay on bed without flinching with pain. "Besides, face it you need a doctor."

"What I needed was just kicked out of my apartment with a twisted arm and free five hundred bucks on its pants. No. Wait. Make that one thousand five hundred dollars. One thousand five hundred dollars for free!" He slapped his forehead and began laughing. My heart clenched in pain. The laughter that emanated from the broken figure before me was hollow and void of any mirth and happiness. It worried me. I sat beside him in a way that avoided irritating his injuries further.

"Whatever he was selling you...Do you really need it?" I began cautiously. I wish to understand him. Why? God knows. Before, I could've cared less whether he was high as a kite or if he was doing alright by himself. In fact, I hardly knew the guy existed except for the occasional rumor that came to my ears. But now...Man...He had managed to take root in my mind and was quite persistent of staying there. I cared for him. I worried for him. I felt for him. And only God knows the fucking reason for why I do.

Link stared at me, debating if I was worthy of an answer or not. He sighed and his eyes traveled towards the ceiling. "Yes." His voice so soft that I had to strain my ears to listen to it. But that one word was laced with so much emotion that my concern deepened and my curiosity grew.

"Why?" I dared to ask. Link's grin was anything but calm and joyful.

"It helps me sleep." He said a chuckled grimly. "Helps me think...Helps me live." I placed a hand on his naked shoulder; seeking to reassure the forlorn blonde man.

"Link...you don't need that to..."

"No, Cloud." His voice tinted with desperation cut me off. "I do. I need it." He said emphasizing each word and his icy blue stare held mine. He seemed unsure, insecure, but mainly...doubtful. What was he searching? What was it that he needed to find in me? So many times he had searched my eyes for something that was still unknown to me. It made me nervous and tense? The thought gave birth to an empty feeling in my chest, a constricting and unwelcome pain. I didn't want that. I definitely didn't want that. He looked away from me and towards the window.

"Link..." I began, squeezing his shoulder to comfort him.

"Cloud..." He cut once more. "I..." He gulped and took a shaky breath. I squeezed once more his bony shoulder, reassuring him to continue. He looked my way once more, his icy stare hiding unshed tears. My heart gave a nasty and hurtful beat. "Please..." He stretched a hand my way and immediately I took his. I couldn't understand his despair, his desperation for my comfort. But I was more than willing to give him whatever he asked. "Cloud..." He sobbed. "Cloud..." He tugged at my arm and pulled me as close to him as possible. I understood his request and quickly laid next to him, hugging him tightly. His head cradled in my chest, his waist locked inside my arms, my legs tangled between his. We became some sort of human twizzler, but I didn't mind the position. Curious indeed. But at that time, I was just trying to give him the affection and security that he so silently asked for. He body shook with the first tears that fell and my grip on him tighten.

"Let it all out, Link." I kept saying with each heart wrenching sob. "Let it all out." And with each intake of air that he took, I heard my name being whispered by those tempting lips, rosy in color and full in flesh. A forbidden flame ignited desire inside me. Those enticing lips called for mine, filling my whole being with a sinful thought. How I wished to kiss those lips. To bite the flesh between my teeth just to see it swell with my marks, making them even more tempting to nibble. To mark those lips as mine with bruising force. Oh God! What was wrong with me? Link...what are you making of me?!

The quick dampening of my shirt indicated the amount of negative emotions that Link so carefully locked deep inside him and that by sheer force unfortunate events had broken free. I rubbed his back in soothing and gentle circles. The ice cold blue-eyed man shook with the force of his crying. "Link..." I said and combed his hair. "Link, please tell me what's wrong." I said gently. He shook his head in denial, the motion wafting his scent. I inhaled deeply and silently. Such desire was surely wrong. Yet it felt so right. Something was definitely screwing with my mind and body.

"Link...Please." I tried once more. He needed to let it out. Whatever it was that torturing him so, he needed to tell it to someone. Else...it will eat him up from inside. He denied my request. I combed his hair once more and dared to kiss his crown. "Please..." I begged. He couldn't keep up like this. It was killing him. "Please...tell me." I dared to kiss him again, his scent luring me in and forcing me to tilt his head and kiss his forehead. Resting mine against his I begged for an answer that I knew would most likely be denied. Yet Link surprised me by whispering my name.

"Cloud..." He sobbed. I combed his bangs and kissed his forehead. "Cloud...I..."

"Shh...its okay, baby." I reassured. Baby? Wha...What was WRONG with me? Since when was Link MY BABY?! Think of Aerith, Cloud. Think of Aerith. Think of her brownish locks soft to the touch and eye. Think of her killer body sculpted by the very angels. Think of her pale and delicate skin. Think of her green eyes. Yes. Think of those green and warm eyes. Think of how she would look at you. How she would whisper your name and laugh at your humor. Think of her warm hands that held yours when she needed to feel you near. Think of her arms around your body and how they embraced you like life itself. Think of her love towards you. How she would look at you with entire affection and devotion. Yes. Think of how she would kiss you softly. How those warm hands would hold your face to her. How her rosy lips would slowly but surely mould with yours. And how when you open your eyes her icy stare would meet yours. How as she would kiss your neck her golden bangs will tickle your cheeks and shoulders. How her strong hands would hold you firmly to her and chest would smash against yours. He would then move upwards leaving a trail of kisses along your jugular and chin until finally his tongue would invade your mouth and slowly the gentle kisses would become rough, intoxicating and ravenous. Moans would be ripped from your throat as those sinful lips and tongue found every spot that makes you shiver, every crevice that makes you gasp and buckle into that warm and alluring body. Your hands would explore his back and shoulders, pulling him closer, needing him closer. Your very hands would find the supple bottom of his and with force would bring him closer and closer until both hard rock organ collided and lust-filled moans erupted from both. Wait! Wait! Wait! When did Aerith changed to Link? When did my mind become so twisted that I fantasized about Link? Why am I blushing? Why do I feel warm all over? Wha...

"Cloud..." Link sobbed interrupting my self-whipping. Acting instinctively, I kissed his forehead. Whatever was wrong with me could wait. Right now Link needed me and I was bound to help him with anything I could. "Cloud...I..." He looked at me, his eyes searching once more. Searching me throughly. His icy blue eyes boring into my very soul. And this time I tried to bear all of it to him. But looking at his eyes I noticed that one of them was quite peculiar. That peculiar icy blue eye had a particular design and it was intriguing rather than repulsive. His left eye's pupil was located in the bottom part of his iris rather than the center. How come I've never noticed? It was inviting rather than repelling. It was then that I remembered that Link's bangs usually covered his left eye. Why? It wasn't that bad looking. I found it, as I said before, intriguing, attractive even. I leaned closer to Link, his icy eyes still looking deeply into mine. Combing his bangs out of my way, I leaned even closer. My eyes trying to bear myself entirely to Link. Strangely, I found such actions not inconvenient nor threatening. In fact, I felt so relaxed, almost bordering on natural to myself. How had I come to be in this position? I didn't care to answer that. And therefore I even cared less when I closed the gap between me and Link and placed my lips upon his; consequences be damned. I waited for an outburst, a punch, a kick in the jewels, anything. So it was to my delight that instead of being thrown to the wall, Link melted against me and deepened the kiss by plunging his tongue into my mouth. Smirking I answered equally not minding one bit that the paramedics were soon to arrive. I was quite content with the development of things and my mind not once dared to question ever again what the fuck my heart was doing. If my heart wanted Link then Link was what I would get.
