Jaune Arc leaned his head against the wall. And sighed.

In his hands, sat his lightsaber. Jaune fiddled with his, unscrewing certain parts, and then putting them back on to pass the time. After unscrewing the base, the entire lightsaber slid into two parts, but stopped just short of separating.

Inside the lightsaber, sat Jaune's kyber crystal. Lightly grabbing the crystal between his fingers, Jane brought it close to his face. He stared inside the glowing blue crystal, as its light casted a soft glow around where Jaune sat.

He could have stared into the kyber crystal forever. Watching as the blue crystal glowed, and Jaune could have sworn he heard it singing.

He heard a muffled thump come from the roof of the train. Placing his kyber crystal back into its place inside the lightsaber, he slid the two parts back together. Screwing the screws back in as he stood.

He heard smaller thumps as people seemed to be walking atop the train. Jaune followed underneath, listening to the footsteps, he assumed there were two people. Jaune stopped, seeing the safety door on the top of the train. He watched the two figures drop down into the train car.

Both of them wore two identical masks on their faces. The color scheme reminded Jaune of the Grimm he had fought in the forest. One of the two was a man, his hair was crimson red with two horns sitting on top of his head. He wore all black, including black gloves. On his waist sat a sword currently sheathed.

The other was female. Her hair was black, with an extra pair of ears sitting on the top of her head. She wore a white shirt with black accents and details. Black pants with matching black shoes. One her waist sat her own weapon, some kind of dagger that was held in its own sheath.

While the features of the two were abnormal to humans he had seen, Jaune paid no mind to them, as he had seen stranger aliens before. He kept his distance, staying partially covered due to the crates he stood next to.

The man took off the bag he was wearing, and set it on the ground. Reaching inside, he took out what Jaune could only assume to be a bomb.

Now, Jaune couldn't have his train car exploding, so he decided to intervene. Taking a step out from his hiding spot, their backs were to him, but he still masked his footsteps with the Force. A trick he had learned from his Master.

Once completely behind the two, and out in the open, Jaune unclipped his lightsaber from his belt. He powered it on, a blue light illuminating the dark interior of the train. The two turned immediately, surprised someone was able to sneak up on them.

"May I ask what you two are doing?" Jaune asked calmly, his body illuminated in blue light.

"It doesn't concern you." The male spoke up, standing to face Jaune. He rested his hand on his own sword hilt.

"I am riding this train, and you have a bomb. That concerns me enough." Jaune said. Watching as the girl slid back into the shadows, while the boy gripped the sword, ready to draw it.

He did, moving at speeds that could rival a Jedi. Drawing his sword, he swung it in an upwards motion.

Jaune spun his lightsaber so the blade would meet the sword. The two blades clashed, sparks flying as the blade did not break in two when coming in contact with the lightsaber.

The sword bounced, and the boy tried stabbing Jaune in the shoulder. Jaune deflected, making the sword bounce. Extending his hand, Jaune used the Force to push the boy back. The boy flew backwards, but stabilized himself by stabbing his sword into the ground.

Jaune gripped his lightsaber with both hands, the boy removed the sword from the ground, and the two ran at each other. The blades met. Jaune swung, the sword able to hold its own against the lightsaber.

Jaune tried to think of a way how this was possible, then he remembered. Dust. There was electricity dust, and electric weapons could be used to block lightsabers. His sword must have had electricity dust imbued within the blade. Allowing it to block his lightsaber.

The force screamed at him in warning, and Jaune remembered he forgot about the girl. Spinning, he saw the girl quickly approaching him, her blade drawn. He extended his hand, tapping into the Force once more.

The girl reacted by splitting in two, leaving a clone of herself as her actual body was launched backwards. It must be her semblance. Jaune thought.

Jaune Force pushed her semblance form, and the girl herself as she was not out of range. Causing her to fly onto her back, and her clone to disappear.

The Force warned him again, and Jaune raised his lightsaber behind his back. The boy's blade bounced off the lightsaber, as he had tried attacking while Jaune was distracted.

Jaune spun into a swing with his lightsaber, but the boy was too far back already. He gripped his sword tightly, and swung in a wide arc. A red wave was released from the sword, flying right towards Jaune.

Jaune jumped to the side, powering off his lightsaber barely dodging the wave as it cut deeply into the train itself. Looking back up at the boy, he saw him wielding his sheath in his other hand, the end looking suspiciously like a barrel.

The Force warned him of an impending attack again, and Jaune dodged as the sheath fired. Somersaulting behind a crate. Most likely the sheath was a gun, this planet's word for slugthrower. Jaune switched to his blaster. Wondering how the boy was able to see him without the light of the lightsaber.

Jaune emerged from behind the crate, blaster at the ready. He scanned the darkness, straining his eyes, but was unable to spot the boy. He caught movement out of the corner of his eye, and shot. The red blaster bolt illuminated the train partially as it quickly flew through the air, it illuminated the person dodging the shot but missed in the end. Even though they were partially illuminated, Jaune couldn't tell who they were, as they dodged behind a tall tower of crates.

He holstered his blaster, and gripped the tower of the crates with the Force. By swinging his arms to the side, the tower was brought crashing down. The crates contents spilling out onto the floor, little crystals rolling everywhere.

Jaune ignited his lightsaber, and blue light flooded the dark train car once again. Jaune saw the boy standing at the ready across the train car. The girl was nowhere to be seen, so Jaune stood at the ready. But due to the light, he did notice the crystals on the the ground.

There was a variety of colors, and he remembered. Were these crystals Dust? If so…

Jaune drew his hand back, calling on the Force once more. The dust crystals on the floor twitched, and the boy looked down to the ground. His body quickly tensed in surprise, as he attempted to jump away.

Jaune pushed his hand forward, the Force sending the Dust crystals flying. They impacted the train wall, exploding in vibrant color. Burts of fire, ice, electricity utterly destroyed the side of the train car and rocked the entire train itself.

Jaune himself was thrown against the opposite wall, light flooded into the train car as half of it was now missing. Crates were sucked out in a vacuum, clearing out the area quickly. Jaune spotted the boy, hanging on to dear life from his sword on the edge of the train.

The boy pulled himself back onto the train, and grabbed his sheath off his waist. Aiming to shoot at Jaune. Jaune grabbed his own blaster off his waist and aimed at the boy.

Their attention however, was drawn to the door as soldiers busted down the door and filed into the room. At first, Jaune thought they were human shoulders, but after a second look, and seeing how robotic their movements were, Jaune knew they were droids.

The thought of battle droids made a memory resurface. Of Jaune fighting alongside a clone trooper, the clone next to him shooting droids with his blaster as Jaune deflected the droids own shots with his lightsaber.

He remembers his master flying into the battle, force pushing the large amount of B1 battle droids to the ground. She ignited her own lightsaber, the blue light swinging to deflect the B2's blaster as the droid steadily approached. Once close enough she sliced the droid in two, before throwing her saber and cutting down three more B2's. Jaune himself watched in awe, but snapped out of it as his master turned to him.

"Come apprentice! The battle is not won yet!"

Jaune snapped back to the present, the droids aiming their guns both at him and the boy. He didn't need the Force to predict that they were going to open fire, amd drive behind a crate for cover. Blue blaster bolts , lit up the surrounding area. This confused Jaune, they had access to blasters, yet still used slugthrowers? What was going on with this planet?

"Hey! I'm on your side!" Jaune shouted over the droids shooting. Whether they heard him or not, the droids continued to fire. Glancing over to the side, he saw the boy shoulder the bag full of bombs, smirk at Jaune and climb up to the train car roof without drawing the dorids attention.

Karabast. The laserbrains are too focused on me to do anything. Jaune thought, and holsetered his blaster, drawing his lightsaber with his other hand.

Popping up, he unleashed a Force blast towards the droids, causing them to fall over due to a domino effect. Jaune ran over them, as they struggled t regain their footing while bumping into each other.

Now inbetween train cars, Jaune looked up. Boosting his jump with the Force, Jaune grabbed the edge of the next train car. Pulling himself up, he was treated to a beautiful sight, and watched as the bright red forest passed by as the train sped along.

But he also spotted the boy, bag slung over his shoulder. The girl however, was knowhere to be found. Jaune swung his legs over, and rolled onto the roof of the train.

Standing, he ignited his lightsaber.

The boy turned, the two locking eyes. Wind whipped around them, causing the boys coat to flop erratically, and his red hair to flow in the direction of the wind. Jaune felt it too, his own blonde hair being pushed back by the wind.

The boy dropped the bag of bombs, drawing his own sword from its sheath. Flipping it in his hand, before pointing it diagonally away from his body. Jaune held his lightsaber similarly, adapting Form VI: Niman into his stance.

The two stood atop the train, wind whipping across their bodies. Both staring the other down.

Then, the boy made the first swing. Gripping his blade, he swung it forward. A red slash launched through the air, cutting deep into the train. Jaune dodged to the right, and threw his own lightsaber forward.

The blade spun in a circle while flying, the boy blocked the attack. And rushed Jaune, who was currently disarmed. Jaune however pulled his blaster out of its holster and opened fire, calling his lightsaber back with the Force.

The boy easily dodged his shots, and jumped over Jaune, swinging his sword in a downward arc. Jaune however caught his lightsaber at the perfect moment, and brought it up to block the blade.

Duel wielding a blaster and lightsaber, Jaune attacked. Firing his blaster, he forced the boy to move out of the way or risk getting hit. But when getting close, Jaune would block the boy's attacks with the lightsaber. Jaune locked blades with the boy, breaking the stalemate. The two engaged in a flurry of attacks. Jaune's lightsaber blade a blur of blue light as he swung left, right, up and down. And mixing it up with the occasional blaster shot in between.

The boy either blocked with his own sword or dodged completely. But with each block of the boy's sword Jaune returned with two separate attacks.

Jaune swung the lightsaber low, the boy blocked it with his sword. The boy quickly raised his sword and swung it forward. Jaune dodged the swing and the red slash it created in the air. The boy swung again in quick secession and Jaune jumped, front flipping over his opponent and landing on his feet behind him. Swinging his lightsaber Jaune was barely able to land a hit on the boy, before he dodged forward out of reach.

On the second swing the two locked blades, the boy's sword slid sling the lightsaber and sliced Jaune's left arm. Making him drop his blaster and wince in pain, reacting quickly he Force pushed the boy away before he could strike again.

Focusing on his wound, he reached into his own Life Force. Drawing it out, he pushed the Force robot his wound, accelerating the healing process and stopping the bleeding. A trick he learned from his master. The wound would still need bandaging, but he could at least continue fighting for the time being.

Holstering his blaster, he gripped his saber with both hands. Not wanting to give his opponent an advantage due to his wound.

The boy also gripped his sword with both hands, but for a different reason. His sword glowed, and he swung it in a downward arc. The red slash cut down into the train car in a diagonal arc. The wind grabbed the front of the train car where the boy had cut, and lifted the entire roof back.

"Whoa!" Jaune yelled, as the roof flung him upwards. The weakened metal tore back, flipping back completely and now it hung off the back, causing sparks to fly as the metal grinder against the rails.

Jaune angled his descent with the Force, letting him land on the metal roof. Once landing, he felt the metal underneath him shift. Knowing he didn't have much time, he sprinted for the train car, or what was left of it.

Just as he was reaching the end of the flipped roof, the metal that still connected the roof to the train car snapped. Jaune jumped, propelling himself with the Force.

"Oof!" Jaune wheezed, as he landed on his shoulder. Pushing off the cool metal ground, he held his lightsaber in his right hand. And waited for the boy to descend to the floor Jaune was on. But the boy didn't appear.

Jaune waited for a few moments, and nobody appeared above. So he slowly entered the train car that the droids had appeared from. Although he didn't see any threats, Jaune did spot a ladder leading up to the roof.

Slowly, and quietly, he climbed up to the roof. Quietly opening the hatch, he found the boy talking to the girl, who had just appeared. He froze, worried that the girl would reveal his location. But she never did, and kept the boy's back to him.

Jaune questioned this, but took the opportunity nonetheless. Remembering how slow the girl fought before, and how she didn't in lol be herself with the two's fight on top of the train. Stepping onto the roof, he held his lightsaber in hand. Masking his steps again so he wouldn't be heard. Once close enough however, he could hear the conversation between the two.

"Adam, there are innocent workers on this train. They don't deserve this!" The girl said to the boy, Adam, who didn't take the words kindly.

"How could you say that?! You know this is the only way we can accomplish anything!" Adam yelled back.

"By steeping lower than those we fight?" The girl argued back. Jaune sensed the anger radiating off Adam in this moment, and chose to act then.

He powered on his lightsaber, and swung. The girl summoned a copy of herself and dashed backwards. Adam heard the blade and tried to dodge, the blade however still struck him in the back. A red barrier appeared over his body, and cracked under the strike of the lightsaber.

He pulled out his sword, but Jaune struck too hard and knocked the weapon out of his hand. Spinning the lightsaber, Jaune stabbed Adam directly into the shoulder.

He screamed in pain as the red barrier shattered, letting the lightsaber stab into his flesh. Adam dropped to his knees out of pain, gripping the point where the lightsaber stabbed him with his hand. Jaune pushed him with the Force, sending him flying into the ruined train car.

Once landing inside, the train car detached from the train itself. Jaune, after looking down, saw that the girl was responsible for it.

The two stared at each other for a moment, and Jaune nodded in appreciation. He blinked, and the girl was gone. Jaune questioned why she helped him, but figured an ally was an ally.

Walking back atop the train, he grabbed Adam's sword with the force and called it to his hand. He held the blade out, and felt the weight. Clearly different than a lightsaber, but it may do him good to learn the weapons of this world.

He sheathed the sword in a belt buckle, letting it sit next to his lightsaber.

Jaune decided to make himself scarce before security came looking for him. Seeing the train fast approaching the wall, Jaune leaped, and landed in a roll on the ground. Watching the train speed off, he wakes towards the direction where he saw the wall.
