"Ozpin you can't be serious." Glynda looked over his plans for a device that could transfer someone's aura into another.
"For the last time Glynda, I am." Ozpin stared out the clocktower's window, "If she ever gets her hands on a Maiden then we need a way to take the power back."
"Or if the next one doesn't automatically say yes to your demands?"
Ozpin answered her question with a deafening silence.
"No, I refuse, I won't let you put my daughter into that thing!"
"Mind your tongue, Professor Goodwitch." Ozpin practically spat her name as her turned around, "Need I remind you that just because you're dating Madam Aphrodite, you are not Miss. Nikos' mother."
Glynda swallowed whatever she was going to say next and departed without another word. She knew the Eyes of Ozpin were already on Madam Aphrodite, he had used one of the questions to map out the lineage of the Fall Maiden and little Pyrrha was supposedly next after the current. After her display there was no doubt the Eyes of Ozpin would be upon her as well.
She rushed over to her apartment and locked the door, even reinforced it with a few purple glyphs. On the couch was a little red-haired child watching some late-night sitcom reruns.
"What's on PyrPyr?" Glynda asked coming over and kissing the top of her head.
"Dog Rain." Pyrrha giggles at the kiss, "Dogs rain from the sky!"
Glynda smiles and rubs her head before going into the kitchen and seeing an olive-skinned woman with a short red bob with an amulet in her hair. The amulet's base was gold, the gem inside it was green, and embedded in said jewel was a golden crown. On its right were several dangling bits of gold and green while its left had some leaves. Two white roses adorned were the extremities met the center piece.
Glynda had given it to her after one year together. She slowly wrapped her arms around her waist and rested her head in the crook of her neck.
Madam Aphrodite giggled and leaned her head into Glynda's, "Welcome home."
Glynda wanted to savor this moment before she finally took a breath and sighed, "We need to leave Aph, now."
"What do you mean Glynda? What's wrong?"
"Ozpin means to do something terrible to Pyrrha. He thinks she's the next fall maiden, he's built a machine to rip someone's aura out and stuff into another." She confessed, "He says it's just in case she gets her hand on a maiden, but I think it's for…"
Aphrodite squeezed her hand, "It's okay, my love. Pyrrha!"
"Yes?" she called out from the couch.
"Start packing your bags we're going back to Mistral."
"Omkee." The tv turns off and the tiny pitter-patter of footsteps go from her room to another.
"I assume you have a plan?" Aphrodite asked.
"I've been saving something for this very scenario, get packed, we're heading out as soon as everyone's ready."
Glynda went to her closet and turned on the light. There was an empty space in the corner. Kneeling down she whispered, 'Revelio,' and instantly a chest appeared bearing a silver shield with a bronze eagle with a blue background. There was a tightness in her chest as she pulled the massive trunk out and opened it.
Her trunk had an old cloak with a matching embroidered eagle emblem and a small bag. Shaking the bag made a loud crashing sound that Glynda only nodded to. She closed the trunk and dropped it into the tiny bag. She came back into the living room where Little Pyrrha was waiting with a single suitcase packed.
"Aph?" Glynda called out.
"Give me a minute." Her voice rang out.
Aphrodite sighed in her room, her suitcase was packed and, on the bed, ready to go, but she knew she had to change her appearance since everybody knew her and Glynda were an item. It wasn't the first time she'd donned a wig; her short bob made it all too easy to slip something on and make it feel natural. But that would usually last a few hours, sometimes even just a few minutes…putting on a performance for someone special.
Right. She needed to remove the locket first. For just the sort of person she'd put on such a show for in the first place…
Aphrodite spent several moments staring at it, running her fingers over its sigil. Dangerous as it was to keep any reminder, any telling clue, she could not entirely help it. She couldn't discard a remnant of her past when it carried someone else's love along with it.
She set it aside, pledging to return in just a moment. Just long enough to become someone else.
Aphrodite knew blonde well. She wore the wigs many times, but never quite this long or full. It had to look convincing, and she knew this would be heavy, gangly, and unwieldy…but also look nothing like her. And that was essential now more than ever.
She dipped her head low and slid on the wig, heavy on her head – just as she thought. Heavy on her head, on her neck, and on her back…she never understood how Pyrrha could stand such a lengthy tail even at her age.
Or for that matter so much ornate jewelry. At least she wasn't being called upon to don a tiara or a singlet.
Still, her wrists were heavy now too with the bracelets. Such was the heavy burden of taking on the appearance of someone else.
Then her glasses and selecting the new contacts. Green was much too intense, much too revealing. Brown was simple, mundane…easy to overlook. Her hair would stand out, but her eyes would reveal no hints to her soul; only the dull gate before it.
Finally, as promised, back to the pin. She wore it in her hair before, but now would need to place it somewhere more innocuous, somewhere that would not be a tell…
She slid it under the belt of her blue gown, clasping beside the leather. Her reminder was further from her now, but not so far she couldn't reach for it…find her beckon home when she sought a reminder.
"Mommy, you look so pretty!" Pyrrha gasped at the wild mane of hair now on her mother's head.
"Thank you, sweet pea." Aphrodite looked at Glynda, "I thought it be best if we were less recognizable."
Glynda smiled and waved her hand across her forehead, turning the wig into real hair and fusing it with her natural line. Red streaks flowed throughout her hair now. Glynda gave her a quick kiss before doing the same to Pyrrha, her hair changed as well, it was now split in two: half red, half gold.
Both of their eyes nearly exploded out of their skulls as Glynda took their suitcases and dropped them into a bag that was barely bigger than Pyrrha's hand.
"H-How did you do that?" Pyrrha gasped.
"Magic." Glynda smiled pinching her little nose. She led them to her study with a large armoire was hanging open, there were special glowing runes along the frame. "This is called a Vanishing Cabinet. It is linked to another one just like it in my homeland. I rigged it to be a one-way trip, once we go through, it sets itself on fire with flames that can't be extinguished. So, we won't be coming back."
"We're ready." Aphrodite took her hand.
Glynda nodded and the three crammed themselves into the armoire. "Alright Pyrrha listen closely, what we're about to do is called apparition. It is going to hurt, but only for a second…"
"Like a shot?"
"Exactly, like a shot, don't worry mommies' right here." Aphrodite assured her.
Glynda twisted her arm and redoubled her grip on the both of them. The next thing she knew everything went black; she was pressed very hard from all directions; she could not breathe, there were iron bands tightening around her chest; her eyeballs were being forced back into her head; her eardrums were being pushed deeper into her skull, and then it was over.
Pyrrha pushed throw the doors and fell on all fours and started puking. Aphrodite quickly bent down and held her hair back as she continued puking. Glynda stepped out with a wide smile, but her smile slowly faded as she looked over the decrepit place.
The house she was standing was completely abandoned with the doors and windows boarded up. The rooms and halls were filthy, covered in dust, and the furniture was moth-eaten and broken. There was a chair in the foyer of the home that had one of its legs ripped off. But Glynda fell to her knees when she saw a massive half-hammer in the middle of the foyer.
Before she knew it tears were rushing down her face as she stared at the layers of dust coating her father's hammer. She didn't even notice Pyrrha and Aphrodite come in to comfort her. She did however notice a voice rip through the air.
"Bombarda!" a female voice screamed as the front door was blown off its hinges and flew directly at them.
Glynda's eyes turned blue as she quickly ripped the hammer out of the ground, pushed her family behind her, and shattered the door flying at them. When the dust and splinters settled, there were two standing before her with their wands at the ready.
One was an older fatter man with scars covering a majority of his face, he favored one side of his body as one leg was suspiciously straight, but the most shocking was his left eye. It was a blue mechanical eye that moved independently and quickly shifted between the Goodwitchs.
The other was a much younger female, about Glynda's age maybe a year or two off. She had a pale heart shaped face and dark twinkling eyes. Her hair was a bright pink, but when her eyes met Glynda's, it shifted to a dark orange. Her mouth opened and closed repeatedly until she was finally able to squeak out, "Glynda?"
She lowered her hammer and her eyes returned to normal, "Tonks?"
Tonks raised an eyebrow but kept her wand up, "My first flying lesson, what did I crash into and in what order?"
"Are you mad?" Glynda scoffed.
"Name it!" the man pointed his wand at her.
Glynda's grip tightened on her hammer, "The Owlery, The Astronomy Tower, The Whomping Willow, and Hagrid's Garden."
"What do you think?" Tonks whispered to the man.
"Maybe, what about them?" he pointed at Aphrodite and Pyrrha.
Glynda's eyes turned blue once again, "Point your wand at them again, see what happens."
Tonks holstered her wand and dug around in a little pouch on her hip, she pulled out a pentagon-shaped gold and blue box, "Hi there." She smiled at Pyrrha, "What some chocolate?"
"I'm not supposed to take candy from strangers." Pyrrha hid half her face behind Glynda's leg.
"Now, that a good rule to follow, what about from…" Tonks covered her face with her hands like a game of peek-a-boo, when she revealed her face, it was in the shape of a beagle. "A puppy!"
Pyrrha smiled and slightly giggled.
Tonks hid her face again, then revealed a duck with a wide bill on the back of her head. She grabbed the bill and rotated it to the front of her head, "Of course you realize, this means war."
Pyrrha started laughing and clapping at Tonks' actions. Aphrodite watched closely as Tonks handed her the box again, Pyrrha was startled when a frog jumped into her mouth but started humming as the chocolate started melting in her mouth.
"Who are you?" Glynda pointed her hammer at the old man.
"Glynda, don't you remember Alastor Moody?"
"The Auror?" Glynda gasped lowering her hammer, "By the gods Alastor, what happened to you?"
"You've been gone a long time Glynda, a lot's happened since you left. We'll explain it on the way, right now we must report back to The Ministry. We've kept a close eye on that hammer, and they'll want to know what's going on with it, especially now that its master's back."
"I can't believe we didn't crack it earlier though." Tonks chuckled.
"Crack what?" Glynda asked as Moody began walking them out.
"Your father put a curse on that hammer, 'Only a good witch may wield the hammer.' All these years we never thought he meant a Goodwitch, not a good witch. Only his daughter…" she looked back at Pyrrha as they walked, "And granddaughter may wield it."
"Maybe someday." Glynda smiled at Pyrrha being carried by Aphrodite still sucking on her chocolate frog.
Glynda looked around as they stopped in the middle of the street, "What are we doing?"
"Just wait," Tonks pushed everyone back onto the sidewalk as she drew her wand again and a deafening bang rang out. Glynda raised one hand to shield her eyes against a sudden blinding light. A second later a gigantic pair of wheels and headlights screeched to a halt. Lowering her hand, Glynda saw a triple decker, violently purple bus, which had appeared out of thin air. Gold lettering over the windshield spelled out: 'The Knight Bus.'
"Ministry of Magic." Moody said shoving money into the open palm of the waiting conductor.
"Eleven Sickles each." Tonks explained as Glynda rummaged through her bag and pulled out a small leather pouch. Tonks took their money and handed it to the conductor, she dropped another three into his hand and pointed at Pyrrha, "Chocolate for the little one."
The conductor nodded and handed Aphrodite an empty mug. He pulled out his wand and tapped the edge of the ceramic cup. It instantly filled up to the brim with hot chocolate, a small mound of multicoloured marshmallows, and a straw made from a cookie.
Tonks took Pyrrha and kept her distracted with her changing face while Moody filled Glynda in on what she had missed in the years she'd been away. She surely would've collapsed if she wasn't already sitting down as Moody recounted the events of 'The Wizarding War' as the media had dubbed it. Aphrodite didn't understand most of what was being said, but she saw how Glynda continued to sink into herself the more Moody went on, and she did her best to comfort her lover.
"I should've been here…" Glynda removed her glasses to rub her eyes.
"It wouldn't have mattered if you were." Moody shook his head, "The Dark Lord's followers would've killed you all the same."
"Alastor's right Glynda." Tonks spoke up rubbing a sleeping Pyrrha's head on her lap, "Besides, you had your own family to look after."
"Did they suffer?" was all Glynda could manage putting her glasses back on.
Moody growled and nodded, "I don't doubt it."
"You haven't lost your charm Alastor." Glynda sighed looking out the window. She knew they were right; she probably wouldn't've had a snowball's chance against this 'Lord Voldemort.'
"We're here." The conductor stated as the bus stopped in front of a red telephone booth.
The five of them stared at the booth curiously.
"Mad-Eye you go first." Tonks said, "I don't think we'll all fit at once."
Moody nodded and stepped inside and closed the door behind him. they could see him dial a number then hang up. There was a muffled voice inside the booth and the entire inside of the booth sank into the ground while a new one replaced it.
Tonks and Pyrrha went in first as they were the smallest, she then felt something soft against the sides of her head. "Are those what I think they are?"
"It's kind of a tight fit." Aphrodite blushed.
"Can we hurry this along?" Glynda matched her lover's blush.
Tonks quickly entered the number in the rotary and a voice spoke from the booth itself, "Welcome to the Ministry of Magic. Please state your name and business."
Tonks groaned, "Nymphadora Tonks, Department of Magical Law Enforcement."
"Thank you." The voice replied and three badges came out of the phone, "Visitors, please take the badge and attach it to the front of your robes." Once they did the voice spoke again, "Visitor to the Ministry, you are required to submit to a search and present your wand for registration at the security desk, which is located at the far end of the Atrium."
The floor of the telephone box shuddered. They began to descend just as Moody before them. Glynda watched curiously as they watched the pavement pass the glass. Darkness covered their heads until they saw nothing at all. They could only hear the dull grinding noise as they continued deeper into the earth. After a minute, that felt more like an eternity, a golden light illuminated their feet. Finally, they were inside the Ministry of Magic. The phone box door sprang open, and they couldn't get out fast enough.
"Those would make some pretty comfy pillows." Tonks smirked as the two blushed even harder while Pyrrha tilted her head in confusion.
They were standing at one end of a very long and splendid hall with a highly polished, dark wood floor. The peacock-blue ceiling was inlaid with gleaming golden symbols that were continually moving and changing. There was a sea of people flooding in and Aphrodite quickly picked up Pyrrha and carried her as they tried to follow Tonks. She led them toward a pair of golden gates, toward a desk on the left, over which hung a sign reading: 'SECURITY.' A poorly shaven wizard in peacock-blue robes looked up as they approached and out down a newspaper with moving pictures.
"Escorting visitors." Tonks told the wizard.
"Step over here," the wizard said in a bored voice.
Tonks motioned for Glynda to move while Aphrodite and Pyrrha stayed back. the wizard held up a long golden rod, thin and flexible as a car aerial, and passed it up and down Glynda's front and back.
"Wand." Grunted the security wizard as he put down the rod and held out his hand.
"I have two." Glynda handed him a slim wand from her pouch, then slammed the hammer on the desk. The wizard's eyes widened at the hammer and put the first one on what looked like a single brass scale.
A thin piece of parchment came out of the base of the scale and the wizard read it aloud, "Ten and three-quarter inches, Dragon heartsring core, been neglected for several years?"
"I haven't had time since my daughter was born." Glynda explained.
"That would explain why it's still paired with you." The wizard impaled the parchment on a small brass spike. "Here you are." He handed Glynda her wand and then waved at the hammer. "I know I can't lift it, just take it."
Glynda snapped her fingers, and the hammer flew to her hand where she secured it back on her belt.
"Thank you, Eric." Tonks nodded escorting the three into a chamber where at least twenty lifts stood behind wrought golden grilles. Tonks led them into a lift that automatically whisked them around before another magical voice echoed.
"Level two, Department of Magical Law Enforcement, including the Improper Use of Magic Office, Auror Headquarters, and Wizengamot Administration Services."
"This is us." Tonks opened the gates and pointed to a door at the end of the hall, "That's my office there, I'm sure Mad-Eye is waiting for us."
Only he wasn't…
Upon opening her door, they was greeted by one man. The man was tall, thin, and very old, judging by the silver of his hair and beard, which were both long enough to tuck into his belt. He was wearing long robes, a purple cloak that swept the ground, and high-heeled, buckled boots. His blue eyes were light, bright, and sparkling behind half-moon spectacles and his nose was very long and crooked, as though it had been broken at least twice.
"Professor Dumbledore/Headmaster?" Glynda and Tonks croaked upon seeing him.
"W-What are you d-doing h-here, sir?" Tonks babbled.
"I had come to see The Book of Admitance for this year's crop. Imagine my surprise when I saw a new name written before my eyes." Dumbledore smiled at her, "Glynda Goodwitch, I am pleasantly relieved to see you alive and well. Is this little one Pyrrha Goodwitch, if I may ask?"
"I'm Pyrrha." She meekly greeted more comfortable around him than the first two.
"She has your eyes, Glynda." Dumbledore admired, "I can understand why you stayed away, but it does beg the question, why have you returned?"
"I had learned of plans for my daughter, horrible plans, I came here to keep her safe." Glynda hung her head low, "But it feels like I traded in one bad world for another…"
"There is no such thing as a safe world, Glynda." Dumbledore put one finger under her chin and raised her eyes to his, "All we can do is try to make the world a better place for our children."
"Professor do you really believe that The Dark Lord is gone?" Glynda asked.
"I think the real question is: If he isn't, what are we to do when he returns?"
"Alastor told me that he had all manner of dark creatures at his disposal, not just dark witches and wizards. I think I'll start there."
"Excuse me, sir." Aphrodite stepped forward, "I'd like to help too."
Dumbledore stroked his beard, "I know a few private tutors from Beauxbatons Academy of Magic that can give you some private lessons."
"One other thing professor, we need a home, also…well, this would be more of a favor could you marry us?"
"It would be an honor."
And so Professor Dumbledore married Glynda and Aphrodite; for one day at least, the troubles of two hard worlds were put aside.
Glynda woke up in her bed in the Leaky Cauldron alone, she looked around and saw Aphrodite sitting in front of a vanity mirror brushing her new mane of hair.
"I wasn't expecting this hair to be a permanent edition, but you seem to like it, so I'll give it a shot." Aphrodite winked at Glynda rising from the bed.
"I've always had a weakness for long hair." Glynda confessed as she looked around for her scattered clothes. She grabbed her pouch and pulled out some fresh ones and got ready.
"I have a meeting with Dumbledore today, it's in a place I think Pyrrha would enjoy. I was thinking Tonks could show you two around."
"I like Nymphadora." Aphrodite finished brushing and stood up, "I'll get Pyrrha."
"Word of advice, don't call her by her first name." Glynda warned before they exited the room.
The three gathered in the pub portion of the establishment and they went into a small, walled, courtyard, where there was nothing but a trashcan and a few weeds. Glynda led them to a particular spot before stopping dead in her tracks.
"Bullocks." Glynda grit her teeth, "How did it go again?" she started tapping bricks in the wall with her wand, but nothing seemed to happen.
"Would you like a hand?" Professor Dumbledore appeared seemingly out of thin air.
"Yes please." Glynda bowed her head and stepped aside.
"Three up, and two across." Dumbledore explained as he tapped the accompanying bricks.
The brick he had touched quivered-it wriggled-in the middle, a small hole appeared-it grew wider and wider-a second later they were facing an archway large enough for a giant, the archway led into a street that twisted and turned out of sight.
"Welcome to Diagon Alley." Glynda looked back at her wife and daughter. She grinned at their amazement as they stepped through the archway and into the city.
"Hey all!" Tonks greeted rushing and nearly tripping over herself to greet them. Pyrrha and Aphrodite jumped as the archway closed behind them. "I'm going to give you the basic tour, you'll get a more in depth one when you get your letter."
Tonks led Aphrodite and Pyrrha away while Glynda walked with Dumbledore.
"What are your plans now?" Dumbledore asked while they kept an eye on the others.
"Monster Hunter, I had a job doing that in my travels." Glynda explained, "Alastor told me that The Dark Lord had monsters in his army as well as Dark Witches and Wizards."
"Quite right." Dumbledore grimly nodded, "Giants, Dementors, Spiders, all sorts of nasty creatures. So, do you mean to join The Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures?"
"Is The Committee for the Disposal of Dangerous Creatures still around?"
"Indeed it is."
"Then that's where I'll start." Glynda stopped seeing a particular building in the distance. "Gringotts, I left enough money to keep my account open, I hope it's been gaining interest since I've been gone."
"It has grown extensively since your father's account merged with yours."
Glynda looked down, "Right."
"I made sure to keep it open, not until I saw irrefutable proof you were dead."
"Thank you, Professor."
Dumbledore handed her a letter, "My letter of recommendation, hand that in when you go back to the Ministry, and you'll have a job. Now, I must be getting back to the school. I wish you good fortune in the days to come."
Glynda nodded and shook his hand before he apparated and vanished.
A full year passed since coming here. Glynda had quickly made a reputation for herself as a Monster hunter. Whether it was good or bad was open to interpretation. Some called her heroine, defender, paladin even. While others called her slayer, butcher, merciless… Glynda didn't care what she was called, as long as her daughter was safe.
Dumbledore had given them a home in Godric's Hollow. It was a quaint little home with a yard big enough for a dog if they ever got one. Glynda and Dumbledore carved a protection stave into its foundation and frame. Every morning Glynda would wake up and check the stave before starting breakfast.
Pyrrha had come out of her room in her pajamas to see Glynda sitting at the breakfast table staring at her father's hammer. She was whispering to her wand before touching it to the hammer's handle, there was a sparkling flash of light as the hammer absorbed the wand and shook the table.
"Mummy?" Pyrrha asked rubbing her eyes, "What was that?"
"I suppose it's time for you to know what this is, come." Glynda pulled out the chair next to her for Pyrrha to jump into. "Has Aph been reading you bedtime stories?"
"Yes." Pyrrha nodded.
"What's your favourite?"
"Babbitty Rabbity and her Crackling Stump!" Pyrrha immediately answered with a cheer.
Glynda chuckled and nodded, "Okay that's fair, let me rephrase, has she told you of the Deathly Hollows?"
"A little, she told me there's the most powerful wand in the world, a stone that can wake the dead, and a cloak to move with the shadows…she says the rest of the story is too scary…"
Glynda thought it over for a moment, "She's right, when you're older we'll tell you the rest of it." Glynda ruffled Pyrrha's scarlet and golden hair, "Okay, now way back one of my ancestors was inspired by the story and wanted to craft his own Elder Wand. It took several attempts but eventually he was finally able to craft his own. Nowhere near close in matching the original but it was still plenty powerful."
"So, the handle is your family's elder wand?"
"Partly, you see when he died and passed it down to his son, he didn't want to part with his own wand, but neither did he want to forsake his father's. So, he found a spell that would combine them. Then every generation of Goodwitches has added their wand to it since."
"But what about everything else?"
"My great-grandmother Holly Goodwitch read the Tale of Thor and wanted to find Mjolnir. She scoured the world in search of the mythic hammer but couldn't find it, so she decided to forge her own. She traced the goblin lineage that forged Godric Gryffindor's sword and commissioned them for a hammer's head."
"Why did she track down those specific goblins? Wouldn't any of them do?"
"Just like this wand, the secrets of the forge were passed down through the generations. Goblin steel is blessed to absorb that what would strengthen the steel. The first thing Holly Goodwitch did was have it struck by lightning." Glynda pinched Pyrrha's nose, "Unfortunately, Holly was nearing the end of her life, she wasted most of it chasing a myth. But her son, my grandfather would take up the cause. Look at this…" Glynda pointed to a golden piece of metal that surrounded the bottom of the hammer and was secured to the tip of the wand. "My grandfather enchanted this bonding metal to make the entire hammer unbreakable, I could throw this against a boulder, and it wouldn't have a scratch." Glynda then pointed to six gold spots, three in the handle and three in the metal, "These give the hammer the ability to come back to my hand no matter how hard I throw it, it will even come to me if I am across the world and the hammer is right here at home. It can also grow or shrink." She demonstrated as it grew to the size of the table then shrank down to the size of an amulet, then returned it to its normal size. "Then my father cursed it so that no one but our bloodline can wield it."
"That doesn't sound like a curse." Pyrrha noted as she had been studying several books Tonks and Dumbledore had gifted her.
"I guess it depends on how you view it, what may be a blessing to us, may seem like a curse to others."
"What about you, mummy? What have you added to it?"
"I added this…" at the bottom of the handle was a golden endpiece that looked like two rams facing each other, "This piece is blessed with a healing charm, that way if we're wounded in battle, the hammer will heal us. I also dropped some Phoenix tears on the metal just to be safe."
"Does it have a name?" Pyrrha asked.
"A name?"
"Yeah, I mean the hammer it's based on has a name. Plus all the really cool weapons have names, like Excalibur or Harpe!"
Glynda smiled, it had been some time since she heard those names or even thought about those tales, "I'll tell you what, you name it. It'll be yours one day, so you should name it."
Pyrrha's eyes widened, and they sparkled with glee, she put her hands in front of her mouth as she thought about it. It had to be something cool, but it also needed meaning behind it. After what felt like an eternity, she finally opened her mouth, "Legacy."
"I love it."
"Mail's here." Aphrodite came into the house with a handful of letters. She had fully committed to changing her appearance, she spent her days in the training field and nights with Pyrrha learning about this new world. Her muscle mass had turned her into an amazon, she even got a sleeve of tattoos covering her entire right arm, shoulder, and neck. Aphrodite went to the mailbox while the family was eating breakfast.
"Pyrrha, you got a letter." Aphrodite placed the small letter in front of her.
"I have a letter?" Pyrrha was confused as she took the letter. There was a loud snap as she broke the wax seal, opened the envelope, and read the letter:

"It's so weird hearing that title not associated with you." Aphrodite chuckled.
