Okay, got the next one! Took some time to figure out everything. Skipped ahead because there wasn't anything I could really think of.

During the 3 or so months that passed, a few things happened for Ruby. 1. She managed to get through roughly 80% of her make-up work. 2. Yang helped her with utilising her legs in combat, as she was pretty screwed without her weapon. She knew some basics, but that was about it.

The make-up work consisted of a bunch of things. Strategy, Grimm knowlgedge, you name it, it's probably in there somewhere. What mattered to Ruby was that she understood it, and that she was almost done with it.

Ruby thought about her CQC training with Yang. During the first month, it was only the basics. She knew that Yang focused on Hand-based Combat, but a lot of it could just be changed and applied to Leg-based Combat aswell.

It was simple stuff. Blocking, countering, how to properly throw a kick, stuff like that. On the second month, they got into more advanced stuff.

Different Combos, Faking an attack to confuse your opponent. Some combos were simple, a flurry of Kicks, a kick to the right or left side of the head, which if blocked, would follow-up into a kick into the stomach, to put some distance between each other. Ruby had some things she didn't show Yang, having thought those up and trained herself when she wasn't training with Yang.

When the third month came around, the two had focused on using the knowledge they had on fights. They would both fight Hand-to-Hand, no weapons or anything. It followed simple sparring Rules, the main being whoever falls into the Red on their Aura was the loser.

The first few weeks, Ruby had always lost, if just barely. She may have had the knowledge, but she was still lacking experience. Experience that Yang firmly beat into her Sister, to make sure Ruby would be able to hold her own. It was rough, yes, but it was neccessary if Ruby was to be able to fight CQC.

At the last week of the third month Ruby had finally managed to win against Yang, if barely.

The fight started with Yang rushing at Ruby. Yang had decided to add in some mistakes that someone with some experience could grasp. And Ruby did just that. As she arrived infront of Ruby, she threw out a barrage of punches, with a predictable and exploitable pattern. After every fourth punch there would be a small window that Ruby could utilise. After 20 blocked punches, Ruby grasped the oppertunity.

Ducking just as Yang was about to throw the next barrage, she faked an attempt to sweep Yang's legs. Of course, with the experience she had, Yang jumped. What she didn't expect was that Ruby had wanted exactly that. Using her speed, Ruby used her leg that was still on the ground, jumped and sent an Aura-filled kick out in an upward motion, connecting with her Sister's Torso. Yang didn't even have time to block, Ruby was just too fast. She may not have as much Strength, Grimm legs aside, but she more than made up for it with Speed.

Yang got launched a good Meter and a half away. That kick took a good 30% off of her Aura. Both were roughly equal in Aura now, being at about 70%. Ruby engaged this time, deciding to aim for Yang's head, she sent out her right leg. Yang knew exactly what her Sister was planning, but didn't know if she could react to the follow-up.

Blocking the kick to her head, Yang attempted to move her other hand down to protect her stomach, but it was futile. Ruby had already connected with her Sister's Stomach, and with all her might, pushed.

She sent herself away from Yang before she could react and counter. Another 15% off Yang's Aura. It was Yang's turn again. Rushing in again, she decided for one strong punch. Ruby just stood there. She thought it Suspicous, but couldn't change her mind on it anymore.

At the very last second, Ruby used her... Forehead? Getting hit, for about 35% of her Aura, Ruby pulled her Sister in by the arm that had hit her in the head, pushing both of her feet into Yang chest. Using every bit of strength, and her Aura, Ruby kicked out her legs, still holding onto Yang's arm.

Yang got pushed back, then immediatly pulled back in, only to be hit by another heavy kick. Suffice to say, it was enough to shred the rest of her Aura into pieces.

Yang stumbled backwards, then fell over, still concious, if only somewhat. ''Ruby, where did you pull that move from?'' Yang asked her Sister. ''What, you think I wouldn't have some things that I didn't tell you? I needed something to beat you, didn't I?'' Ruby responded, still reeling a bit from the hit to her forehead.

''I thought you would have something, but not that you would use your forehead to block and then pull me in like that!'' ''Well, it is kind of a one-time move, considering the risk of getting hit like that.''

''Well, can't argue with the results. Good job on winning, Ruby!'' Yang exclaimed. ''Thank you! Couldn't have done it without you though.'' Ruby said. ''Oh, that was nothing. I told you, didn't I? I'll always be there for you, Ruby!'' ''Yeah, thanks Yang.''

Getting snapped out of her thoughts, Ruby returned to her make-up work. She began, but trailed off about her tail. She tried to use it to hang from something once, forgetting that cat tails aren't exactly desingned to hold onto things well, let alone support someones entire body. She did use it to balance herself, and she had managed to use it to grab things a bit to far away from her, but that was about the most use she could think of.

She still couldn't fully believe it. Though who could think that getting a new pair of legs would come with a tail? She did find it cute, and would use it to distract herself from time to time.

Thinking about her tail caused her to think about that Humanoid Grimm which gave her its legs. About the Void she was in. Before she could further think about those memories, she began hearing what sounded like a voice.

Focusing on that voice, it began to become clearer. Eventually it talked to Ruby. ''Hmm? Oh, it seems I finally got Through. Allow me to introduce myself. I am the being that gave you my legs.'' It explained. ''Whoa! Are you... in my Head?'' Ruby asked.

''Yes, ever since you consumed that Serum, I have been with you. Ever since you woke up, I have been trying to reach out, with minimal success. I want to give you my gratitude.'' ''For what?''

''Because of you, I was able to serve my purpose, to protect and help. And I am going to continue doing so.'' ''Ok, but, how are you going to do that if you are inside of my head?''

''Oh, I assure you, I can protect you very well, Observe.''. In that moment, Ruby couldn't believe what she was seeing. In front of her was that same Grimm. It was somewhat see-through, only having its upper body.

''I am able to manifest my body. Of course, since you have my legs, I can only manifest my upper body like this.'' ''What else can you do?''

Suddenly, Ruby's entire body was enveloped by a faint black glow. ''I am able to manifest an Armor like Barrier around you, it can take a decent amount of damage, and can amplify how much damage you deal.'' ''So, like Aura?'' ''Yes, I suppose it would be like Aura.''

''Do you have a name?'' Ruby asked. ''No, I never needed a name, as it didn't serve any purpose.'' It responded. ''Hmm, how about... Brother Grimm! Since your purpose is to protect and help me, you're kind of like a big brother.'' ''Hmm, I suppose that would be a suitable name.''

In that moment, the two heard something drop. Turning to look at the source of the sound, they saw the rest of her Team stand there. ''Ruby, mind explaining why there is a ghost Grimm next to you?'' Yang asked.

''Oh, uh, he's the one who gave me my legs. He told me his purpose is to protect me, so I named him Brother Grimm.'' There was a minute of silence, before Yang spoke up. ''Well, nice to meet ya!'' Yang said. ''Guess that makes it 2 people who are like Siblings to you, Ruby.'' Delilah added. ''Yeah, I guess it does.''

''So, guess weird things run in the family, huh?'' Another voice added. ''Uncle Qrow? What are you doing here? And how did you get in?'' ''Eh, just came back and thought to check up on how you were doing. Didn't expect to find this though. So, your purpose is to protect Ruby? Well, can't hurt to have one more, I guess. Names Qrow, with a Q.'' ''So, I assume, according to what she said, that you are her Uncle? Well, nice to make your aquaintance. The names Brother Grimm, name courtesy of Miss Rose.''

Ruby went on to explain everything that happened in the past three months. ''So, ya finally beat Yang at Hand-to-Hand, Eh? And with your forehead? Ha, told ya you could use that thing as a weapon, kiddo.'' After a few minutes, something clicked in Ruby's head. ''Wait, what do you mean by 'Weird things'?'' She asked.

Right then and there, Qrow turned into his Crow form. Suffice to say, everyone was surprised. ''You can turn into a Bird?!'' Yang exclaimed. ''Yup.'' ''Now the name makes sense. Of course you can turn into a bird, that's how you always sneak in!''

''Heh, secret's up, i guess.'' Qrow said. ''Anyways, Ruby, we came here to ask you for something.'' Yang said. ''Ok, Yang, what for?'' ''We wanted to know if you could maybe look at our weapons? We felt as though we were lacking behind a bit.'' Yang explained.

''Oh, of course! I'll see what I can do.''. After a bit of thinking, Ruby came up with ideas for each weapon. ''Alright! I got something for all of you!'' Ruby exclaimed.

For Yang, the plan was to give Ember Celica blades that would extend outward, like mantis blades. That way Yang had a little bit of extra reach. The blades could fold together, meaning Yang could still close Ember Celica.

Next was Weiss. It was nothing big. It would allow her to shoot out a second blade. She would be able to keep pressure on her opponent or attack better at range.

Lastly was Delilah. Her weapon would be able to seperate at the middle of the handle, seperating into something similar to a Hammer and Nail. The part that would act as the 'Nail' would get something similar to a guard and grip around where it seperates. There was also a 50cm long wire, alowing her to to use it to trip up her opponent, block or even slam the 'Nail' into her opponent and retrieve it. With the press of a button, the wire would be pulled back.

''These are pretty good upgrades, Rubes!'' Yang exclaimed. ''Oh, it's nothing, just happy to help!'' ''Ruby, I gotta say, never thought about seperating my weapon, but it works remarkably well!''

As Ruby's Teammates went to try out the new upgrades, She returned to her make-up work. She didn't upgrade Crescent Rose, as she was focused on training with her legs. She had thought of adding new things, such as a secondary, Revolver-like weapon, but couldn't figure out how to do it for the time being.

''Is something wrong Ruby? You look sad.'' Brother Grimm asked. ''Oh, it's nothing. There's just a lot of work to do.'' Ruby said. She wanted the work to be done quicker, but she would have to spend some time to properly understand everything. At least she was exempt from the tests.

She wondered when she would be able to use her new skills, but she was sure the time would come.

Man, the upgrades were difficult to make, especially weiss. Really couldnt think up anything. Like I said, was gonna add something Stand-like. Decided for defense mainly, accidentally created another vesion of Aura. The idea would be to give her more protection from all sides, since you have to focus on where it goes. Also, all of the upgrades are pretty much references to other things, completly on accident though. Got a plan to include Cinder, her goons and Neo in the next one. As always, appreciate all of ya who decide to stay and read. Leave a Review if ya wanna ask, or suggest something, would be happy to consider whatever. Until then, Toodaloo!
