CHAPTER 2:
PROJECT GRID, PART 2
In the ensuing fight, S.P.D. Omega Ranger engaged in a physical battle with Thunder Starfish while Midoriya, Uraraka, and Asui were fighting the Evolved Putties. The former was relatively fighting the villain equally while the latter were somehow having a hard time in defeating the Putties. Their durability was off the charts for some reason.
"Is it me!? Or are they tough!?" Asui asked in case she's the only one who realises the situation before delivering a double side kick on a Putty.
Uraraka shook her head, "No, you're not the only one! They're really tough! My Blasters are barely effective against them!"
"These Putties are somehow different. It's like they're evolved. Must be the work of Lord Drakkon." Midoriya pointed out before hitting two of them with the Brachio Staff. "We need to hit them harder!"
"Easier said than done!" Asui exclaimed before repeatedly slashing a Putty without stopping until it became dusted. "Huh! We do need to hit them harder!"
After witnessing their fellow brethren dying, the Putties became more aggressive towards the Power Rangers. They swung their arms around as well as launching themselves towards the Rangers, yet their attempted attacks are always dodged by the colorful heroes. Some of them began to be destroyed at a faster rate when the Pink Ranger was firing her Blasters at them nonstop while the Green Ranger was slicing and dicing them repeatedly until they fell.
"No matter how evolved they are…!" Midoriya exclaimed before hitting three Putties at once aggressively before launching them in the air. He then began to switch modes with the staff. "They are always goons! Brachio Staff! Fire Strike! Ha!"
A beam of violent flames struck the Putties, vaporizing them in an instant, leaving them without a trace. Midoriya executed the same move on other Putties who were running towards him until the staff was grabbed by a Putty and pulled it away from him unexpectedly. He was then beaten by the Putties on the ground as if they were bullying him before he turned invisible, much to their confusion.
"Huh?" All of the Evolved Putties had the same confusion.
The invisible Midoriya grabbed the Brachio Staff on the ground, switching into a different one, "Brachio Staff!" He became visible once again, but it was too late for those Putties. "Wind Strike! Ha!"
A devastating mini-tornado swirled the Putties, as their physical bodies were being chipped away slowly until all of them fell apart like mountainous rocks, dropping on the ground lifeless.
"And that's how it's done!" Midoriya exclaimed before looking away from them, as a sudden explosion occurred behind him.
Asui and Uraraka were doing well against the Putties, but they were soon beginning to be overwhelmed by them. They went back-to-back with each other, as Evolved Putties surrounded them with no chance of escape. Their blasters and sabers aren't enough to destroy the Putties. It's time for them to go Legendary.
"You know what I'm thinking, ribbit?" Asui asked curiously.
Asui nodded, "It's time to go Legendary!"
"Legendary Ranger Mode!" Uraraka announced before pulling out a key. "S.P.D.!"
"Legendary Ranger Mode!" Asui announced before pulling out a key. "Jungle Fury!"
"S.P.D. Emergency! / Jungle Beast, Spirit Unleashed!" Uraraka and Asui activated the morphing call in unison before putting the key on the Legendary Morpher.
MORPHING SEQUENCE
A hologram of the S.P.D. Pink Ranger suit was projected from the morpher. As soon as Uraraka flipped backward, a pink energy went towards her and formed the suit, overtaking the previous suit. While kneeling, the pink helmet then formed around her head and replaced the previous helmet.
"S.P.D. Pink!" Uraraka announced while doing a dramatic, fast-pace pose on top of a giant silver badge with a pink wall of number 5 behind her.
While Asui was doing a martial arts move, a green spirit elephant rushed towards her and surrounded her before becoming one with her, essentially forming the Elephant Spirit Ranger suit around her in seconds.
"With the Spirit of an Elephant!" Asui announced while doing aggressive poses. "Jungle Fury Elephant Ranger!"
MORPHING SEQUENCE ENDED
Uraraka took out the Deltamax Striker from her waist which is currently on blaster mode, "Ready, Asui!?"
Asui took out the Jungle Mace and nodded at Uraraka, "Ready! And please call me Tsu!"
Uraraka attacked first by shooting the surrounding Putties to give her and Asui some space. She then leaped and flipped over the Putties while shooting them in the process. Once she landed back on the ground, she dodged a Putty attack by doing a split before switching her Deltamax Striker into blade mode. She slashed the Putty before slicing several of them while dodging and blocking their attacks without a single rest. She then walked past the Putties, who were standing while feeling the dizziness, casually before all of them exploded at the same time behind her.
"Now that's how it's done!" Uraraka shouted while doing a cool pose with the Deltamax Striker.
Asui, on the other hand, was still standing in the same position. The Putties were surrounding her, yet she didn't move an inch. She was merely glancing at them and waiting for one of them to strike at her. When one of the Putties did, she blocked the attack casually before attacking the Putties with an aggressive fighting style. She was swinging the mace at them, taking out several of the Putties easily. Her body was moving slowly, but the mace was moving at an incredible speed (anime-ish style). She then unleashed a ball made from her aura, unleashing it at the Putties, exploding all of them.
"The end!" Asui shouted before walking away from the explosion.
The two of them reverted back to Super Mega Mode, as the energy to use those two forms were depleted. They reunited in the middle, wondering where Midoriya and Sam were.
"Where did they go?" Uraraka asked in confusion.
"I don't know, ribbit." Asui answered.
"AAAGH!"
When they heard Midoriya's scream, they saw him flying in the air and landed back on the ground roughly. They rushed towards him immediately, wondering what just happened to him.
"Deku-kun, are you alright!?" Uraraka asked worriedly.
Midoriya groaned while getting back up painfully with the help of Uraraka and Asui, "Never been better."
"What happened, ribbit?" Asui asked curiously.
Midoriya coughed, "When I was finished fighting the Putties, I tried to help Sam fighting Thunder Starfish. But Thunder Starfish was stronger than I thought. He sent me flying just now."
Uraraka looked everywhere in their surroundings, "Where is Sam and that villain?"
"I don't know. They must've moved into different locations. It's basically a common occurrence for some reason." Midoriya answered, as the pain subsided and his strength returned. "We must go and help him now!"
Uraraka and Asui nodded, "Okay!"
The three of them ran out from the scene, attempting to find where S.P.D. Omega Ranger and Thunder Starfish could be. Unbeknownst to them, civilians were popping out from their hiding spots, as they began to think about the identities of those mysterious heroes. One of the civilians was recording their fight the whole time.
"This is definitely going to get me some likes." The female civilian said greedily until the video was mysteriously deleted for unknown reasons. "Huh!? Where did it go!?"
In an abandoned warehouse, S.P.D. Omega Ranger was flung into a wall. He then dodged multiple laser bullets before being struck by a red lightning blast from Thunder Starfish, causing him an excruciating amount of pain. He has been struck at least five times now. He can feel the Morphing Grid powering down in his body. He needed to end this fight quickly before Thunder Starfish escaped.
"Had enough, Ranger!?" Thunder Starfish asked mockingly while reloading his pistols casually. "Because that wasn't even a warmup!"
S.P.D. Omega Ranger groaned before putting his hand near his morpher, "Same goes for me! Blast Mode! Hiyah!"
When the Omega Morpher gathered the energy in the palm of his hand, S.P.D. Omega Ranger slammed his hand on the ground immediately. It caused an all-powerful shockwave, sending Thunder Starfish flying through the ceiling unexpectedly. He stood back up and shook his hand off the pain due to the slam before jumping into the ceiling.
"How did you like that!?" S.P.D. Omega Ranger asked.
Thunder Starfish grumbled before breaking out a laughter, "That was good, Ranger! It, unfortunately, wasn't effective on me!"
"You haven't seen anything yet!" S.P.D. Omega Ranger exclaimed before using his morpher again. "Electro Mode! Hiyah!"
He slammed his hand on the ground again, sending an electrifying attack at Thunder Starfish. That attack was meant to be powerful enough to injure a villain, but the fact Thunder Starfish tanked the attack was abnormal. He was surrounded by a dome of electricity to block the attack while he was examining his pistols.
"That was a disappointment." Thunder Starfish mocked the Ranger while twirling one of his pistols. "And I thought you were tough, but it seems you have to rely on Deka Ranger to do the job for you."
"Don't bring Commander Tate into this!" S.P.D. Omega Ranger warned the villain. "He died because of you and the Ranger Sentries!"
"Not my fault he had to save you and your team's sorry asses." Thunder Starfish mocked the former commander of Earth's Space Patrol Delta, which enraged the Ranger. "Aww? What's wrong? Feeling a little angry for your friend?"
As S.P.D. Omega Ranger was about to run towards Thunder Starfish with full fury, Midoriya appeared behind Thunder Starfish as Yellow Wind Ranger unexpectedly. He struck the villain's back with his Ninja Sword successfully.
"Aagh!" Thunder Starfish groaned in pain before looking back at his attacker and delivered a roundhouse kick. "Piss off!"
"Woah!" Midoriya wasn't expecting an immediate counterattack, as he began to fall off the roof.
"Midoriya!" S.P.D. Omega Ranger called out to him worriedly, knocking him back to senses after feeling a bit of rage from Thunder Starfish's mockery towards him and his former teammates.
Thunder Starfish shot S.P.D. Omega Ranger at his visor without looking at him, "Stay down, old timer!"
"Uuk!' S.P.D. Omega Ranger fell on the ground and groaned in pain before being forcibly powered down due to the amount of injuries to his uniform.
"You have gotten weak, Omega Ranger." Thunder Starfish said mockingly. "I guess spending months in hiding will do that to you. Did Lord Drakkon scare you after your teammates die one by one? Bridge… JJ… Syd… Z… Sophie…"
"Don't you start!" Sam yelled at him to stop saying his friends' names until he coughed in pain, increasing his pain further.
"Doggie… Kat… Jack… Sky…" Thunder Starfish then smirked at the last person who Sam cared about deeply. "Nova…"
Sam forced himself to stand up and run towards Thunder Starfish out of anger despite his injury. Thunder Starfish was amused by his quick anger before pointing the pistols at him. When Thunder Starfish fired the pistols, Uraraka managed to push him out of the way while Asui was deflecting the lasers.
"Are you okay, Sam?" Uraraka asked worriedly.
Sam coughed before nodding in response, "Yeah, I'm fine. Apologize for seeing my rash action."
"It's fine." Uraraka reassured him. "Just stay there!"
Uraraka joined Asui in a confrontation with Thunder Starfish who was scratching his head with one of his pistols, unamused and unthreatened by the new Rangers. Uraraka pointed her Blasters at him while Asui did the same with her Sabers. They wondered where Midoriya was.
"Have you seen Midoriya?" Asui asked worriedly with a whisper.
Uraraka shook her head, "No, I haven't."
Thunder Starfish yawned, "Okay, you ladies are boring me. Bye. Bye."
Thunder Starfish shoot at Super Megaforce Pink and Super Megaforce Green without wasting any time. He was expecting his bullets to hit them successfully due to the fact they're newbies, but they somehow surprised him. Uraraka shot at the laser bullets coming at her, essentially colliding them with hers, while Asui deflected them while running towards the starfish villain. He was slightly impressed with them, but nonetheless less experienced than veteran Rangers.
Asui attempted to slash at Thunder Starfish, but the villain swiftly dodged them like they were nothing. She was then kicked behind her back before receiving a punch on the face. The villain placed his pistols back on the holsters and pulled the Super Mega Sabers off of her forcibly. He then used those said Sabers to slash her multiple times before sending her flying into the air with a powerful attack.
"Riiiibit~!" Asui screamed before landing back on the ground after going through the ceiling.
"Asui!" Uraraka shouted at her worriedly before turning her attention back to Thunder Starfish and began shooting at him.
Instead of dodging the attacks, Thunder Starfish was walking towards the bullets. The bullets were bouncing off him due to his bullet-resistant armour, courtesy of Lord Drakkon. He pulled out one of his pistols and fired at Uraraka. The Blasters flung out from the Ranger's hands after the laser bullets hit them accurately, much to Uraraka's surprise. Thunder Starfish then ran towards her and delivered a normal kick.
"Aaaah-!" Uraraka screamed as she went flying and landed near the downed Sam. "…ow!"
"Couldn't beat him, huh? I don't blame you." Sam said before glaring at Thunder Starfish who was waving at them playfully. "It took a while for Bridge, Sophie, and JJ to beat him. He's that skilled."
Uraraka groaned while attempting to get back up, "Then we'll keep trying!"
Thunder Starfish grunted at the newbie's stubbornness, "Of course you inherited the Rangers' stubbornness to give up, but no matter, you'll soon join your brethren once I bring you Lord Drakkon himself."
"Think again!" Someone shouted from below.
Suddenly, two hands bursted out from the ceiling and grabbed Thunder Starfish's feet. He was then pulled to the ground, causing a minor crack as a result. He looked back at the person who pulled him. It was Izuku Midoriya who is still in his Yellow Wind Ranger form.
Thunder Starfish groaned, "You-!"
"Hayiah!" Asui slashed Thunder Starfish from behind multiple times, interrupted him with whatever he was going to say. "Sorry. Just returning the favour, ribbit."
"Grrr!" Thunder Starfish was furious that he was humiliated by two brats. Not veteran Power Rangers, but brats who merely borrowed the powers. "I won't be bested by b-!"
He was yet again interrupted when Uraraka jumped from the ceiling and began to blast Thunder Starfish's exposed back (after it was damaged by Asui), causing the villain to kneel in one knee. He was panting heavily from the injuries he received. He didn't expect to suffer so fast after gaining the upper hand against the newbies. What kind of ridiculousness is this!?
"Sorry, just returning the favour as well." Uraraka said teasingly while holding one of the blasters up her shoulder.
"Give it up, Starfish!" Midoriya warned the villain while laying his Ninja Sword on his shoulders. "You're going to prison!"
"Going to prison, eh!?" Thunder Starfish disregarded his pistols, dropping them on the ground furiously, as lightning was surrounding him intensely. "You're going to pay for that!"
His appearance began to shift. The sudden appearance of his new armour, which is militarised, became stronger and more durable. The spikes were more deadly. And his face turned into a flaming skull, symbolising his hatred and lack of playfulness when dealing with enemies. His new form, Skull Monger, was complete. The lightning stopped emitting around his body, as he stood up properly with a killing intent.
Skull Monger laughed demonically, "Come and get me now, brats!"
"Well, this isn't good." Midoriya said while in his fighting stance.
Asui crossed her sabers together, "Way to state the obvious, Midoriya-kun."
Uraraka pointed her blasters at him, "Should we go Legendary Ranger Mode?"
"I don't think we have the time for that." Asui answered.
"Be careful guys!" Sam warned them from the ceiling. "As Skull Monger, he mustn't be underestimated!'
"You got it!" Midoriya agreed with the warning.
Skull Monger simply laughed demonically before unsheathing his rapier and shield. He then teleported behind in an instant and struck all three of them before they could react. When the three of them ran away to give themselves some distance, Skull Monger simply watched them scurrying like rats before shooting them with his wrist rocks, causing an explosion in front of them and knocking them back on the ground. When the Rangers attempted to get back up, Skull Monger cracked his knuckles before releasing a lightning beam from his eyes, causing critical damage.
Asui groaned, "Ribbit! We can't get close to him!"
"What should we do, Midoriya!?" Uraraka asked while attempting to endure the pain, which was far worse when the debris landed on her during the Entrance Exam.
"I don't know! Let me analyse for a while!" Midoriya answered before analysing and memorising all of Skull Monger's movesets and abilities.
Skull Monger began to walk towards them, wanting them to suffer a bit hence why he didn't teleport right away. No matter what they can do, no technology can stop him when he's in this form. They would have to rely on their melee attacks, which is impossible when he's untouchable. His humiliation dissipated the moment he demolished the new Rangers without breaking a single sweat (as if he had one in the first place).
"I got it!" Midoriya exclaimed. "Uraraka, you and I morphed into the Mystic Rangers. Asui, you morphed into Jungle Fury. Keep him distracted while me and Uraraka will do something to immobilise him."
"Got it, but Midoriya…" Asui said before slowly looking at him. "You need to choose your words wisely."
"Asui!" Uraraka should while her cheeks were blushing behind the helmet.
Midoriya blinked his eyes multiple times in confusion before realizing what she meant, "EEEEH!? Not like that!"
Asui giggled, "Ribbit, let's do it now."
The three of them stood back up painfully. Skull Monger stopped on his tracks, impressed with their endurance and mental fortitude of being able to stand back up. But no matter, their futile attempts won't be able to stop him.
"Ready!?" Midoriya asked before taking out the Master Morpher.
Uraraka and Asui nodded before taking out the Legendary Morpher, "Ready!"
Midoriya readied his Master Morpher, "It's Morphin' Time!"
"Legendary Ranger Mode!" Uraraka announced before pulling out the key. "Mystic Force!"
"Legendary Ranger Mode!" Asui announced before pulling out the key. "Jungle Fury!"
"Magical Source, Mystic Force!" Uraraka and Midoriya shouted the morphing call, as the former placed the key on the Legendary Morpher while the latter pushed the Master Morpher forward.
"Jungle Beast, Spirit Unleashed!" Asui shouted the morphing call, placing the key on the Legendary Morpher.
Skull Monger scoffed, "What is this now?"
MORPHING SEQUENCE
A spell circle was summoned in the sky, as the Spirit of the Ancient Sprite and Phoenix descended upon them. After Midoriya and Uraraka executed the same move as the Ancient Titans, they looked up and jumped into the magic circle, forming the suits. The helmets then formed around them magically afterwards.
"Ha!" Midoriya shouted while doing a pose with a spell circle consisting of Mystic Rangers' symbols while fire was emitted whenever he moved his arm before it shifted to him standing on a cliff with a raging fire behind him. "Fearsome as Fire! Red Mystic Ranger!"
"Ha!" Uraraka shouted while doing a pose with a spell circle consisting of Mystic Rangers' symbols while petals were flying across her before it shifted to her standing on a cliff with a raging pink tornado behind her. "Ever-changing as the Wind! Pink Mystic Ranger!"
While Asui was doing a martial arts move, a green spirit elephant rushed towards her and surrounded her before becoming one with her, essentially forming the Elephant Spirit Ranger suit around her in seconds.
"With the Spirit of an Elephant!" Asui announced while doing aggressive poses. "Jungle Fury Elephant Ranger!"

"Really?" Skull Monger questioned their stupidity. "Nothing will change the fact that you can't beat me!"
Skull Monger released more rockets from his wrist a multitude of times, essentially creating a smoke from the amount of dust. He then raised his rapier while his face was glowing red, preparing to unleash lightning beams at anyone he sees. He didn't walk towards the direction of the smoke cautiously, as he isn't scared by some measly brats who are unoriginal.
Unexpectedly, Asui emerged from the smoke and began to run towards Skull Monger. The villain unleashed his lightning beams without hesitation, but due to the instincts of the Elephant Spirit, she managed to dodge the attack swiftly without stopping on her tracks. She launched herself towards him, delivering a powerful and aggressive double kick, sending the villain flying into a wall.
Skull Monger groaned, "I admit, I didn't see that coming!"
Skull Monger turned into lightning in order to travel behind Asui and strike at her while she's confused, but it ultimately failed. The Ranger possessed the skills of a Pai Zhuq master, so her instincts were amplified to anticipate any threats involving speed. The Ranger dodged his rapier strike by ducking before being delivered a roundhouse kick on his throat, causing him to fly through the ceiling before landing back on the ground.
Skull Monger was getting frustrated, as his rapier began to be coated with red lightning, "Okay! Now play time's o-!"
"Magi Firestorm!" Midoriya and Uraraka shouted the spell before casting it with their Magi Staff. "Hiyah!"
A pink tornado that is surrounded by fire was summoned from their staff. It was a powerful spell that Nick and Vida learned against the Ranger Sentries, according to the glimpse of memories they saw. It's a powerful spell, but requires enough time to cast by gathering all their magic points or "mana" into their staff. Skull Monger attempted to escape from the attack by turning into a lightning, but not even an actual lightning can escape from a tornado made out of magic, so he was sucked in and slowly being burned into crisp.
"So that's why you were planning, Midoriya." Asui said, joining them to watch the spectacle. "I can't tell whether you have a twisted mind or what, ribbit."
Midoriya chuckled nervously, "Well, I wasn't planning on using this if it meant killing him. This spell isn't perfect, compared to the original."
"Yeah, it could kill several Sentries in one BLOW!" Uraraka exclaimed. "But of course, we can't replicate that. We're technically not magic wielders."
"You mean… mystic force?" Asui corrected her with a sly reference.
Midoriya placed his hand on her shoulder and gave her a thumbs up, "That's a good one, Asui."
"Thanks, but call me Tsu." Asui reminded him, much to his embarrassment.
When the Magi Firestorm eventually dissipated after ten seconds, Skull Monger was kneeling on the ground. His body was stiffened due to the extensive amount of pain he has received. Without saying any word, he began to blast lightning beams at random direction while essentially immobilised. Midoriya and Uraraka casted a Magi Shield to block the beams while Asui dodged them multiple times before hiding behind an object albeit managed to get hit on the shoulder in the process.
Skull Monger groaned, "I-I can't be…"
After the lightning beams stopped firing from Skull Monger's eyes, Asui didn't hesitate to run towards him with the Jungle Mace and delivered aggressive blows before punching him towards Midoriya and Uraraka's direction.
"Magi Staff! Sword Mode!" Midoriya cast the spell while running towards the flying Skull Monger, as his staff magically turned into a sword. He then jumped in the air and struck him downward, causing the villain to fall on the ground faster yet roughly.
"Magi Ball!" Uraraka cast a ball of tornado at Skull Monger, dealing an immense amount of damage and breaking his armour as well as sending him flying again.
Skull Monger screamed while landing roughly on the ground after smashing through the thick crates, "How is this possible!? I shouldn't be defeated by the likes of you!"
"And that's precisely why you lost. You underestimate us for being newbies." Midoriya answered truthfully, as his two allies joined him. "It's time to deliver a final strike! Ready, Uraraka, Asui!?"
Uraraka and Asui reverted back to their Super Megaforce form, "Ready!"
FINAL STRIKE SEQUENCE
In a universe-like location, the two Rangers press the button on the underbelly near their weapons' trigger guard, a key cylinder is raised up from the lock; allowing a Ranger Key to be inserted into it.
"Activate!" Uraraka and Asui shouted before raising the Sabers "Super Mega Sabers! Charging!"
The Blaster part was hypercharging the attack before unleashing a devastating attack. Asui was holding the Sabers like a bat while Uraraka simply stared at it, waiting for the hypercharge to finish.
Skull Monger groaned in pain, "Give me your best shock!"
"You got it!" Asui and Uraraka accepted the challenge, as they began to swing their Sabers. "Final Strike!"
Two colourful slashes from the sabers struck Skull Monger at the same time, causing an amount of damage than previously. The blast was enough for his body to go haywire.
"How…?" Skull Monger, who reverted back to Thunder Starfish, questioned the impossibility of being lost to brats before falling on the ground and exploded.
"Now that's a Super Mega Win!" Asui and Uraraka shouted, looking away from the explosion.
[Playing "Power Rangers Megaforce" briefly]
FINAL STRIKE SEQUENCE ENDED
"Great job, everyone!" Midoriya exclaimed before giving high-fives to the two of them.
"Whoo! That was fun! I didn't expect that being a Power Ranger would be fun!" Uraraka exclaimed enthusiastically, feeling the euphoria due to the intense yet amazing fight. "Do Power Rangers usually fight like this!?"
Midoriya smiled behind the helmet, "I guess so."
"...I hate to break the excitement, but shouldn't we go check in with Sam, ribbit?" Asui said worriedly. "He's pretty banged up."
"You're right. Let's go." Midoriya agreed with her.
When the three of them left to meet with Sam, a red tornado-like appeared near where Thunder Starfish was located. A familiar villain, who was wearing a black bear cloak, then appeared after the tornado dissipated. It was Vihara. The same villain who All Might fought yesterday. He was now corrupted (or empowered) by the Sporix Beast within him, transforming him into a monstrous appearance.
"You shall not disappoint Lord Drakkon, Starfish." Vihara said in an echoey, monstrous voice. He then pulled out an orb-like device that the Ranger Slayer gifted to him. "You shall be given a chance. Turn the City of Mustafa into a wasteland!"
The orb activated as it began to rearrange the molecules to regenerate Thunder Starfish. It was the cue for Vihara to leave, as he doesn't want to risk getting caught. He activated a device on his wrist, which activated the Morph-X, transporting him to an unknown location.
Meanwhile, Midoriya, Uraraka, and Asui (who are morphed back to their regular selves) checked on Sam. He was standing still while holding his left arm and enduring the pain.
"Hey, kids." Sam greeted them while coughing. "Nice job for defeating Thunder Starfish. Never thought you guys would be able to."
"Well. He underestimated us, so we took advantage of that." Midoriya said. "And aside from that, it was thanks to the Rangers we morphed into. Without their help, we wouldn't have been able to defeat them."
"Yeah, my Quirk would definitely not work on him." Uraraka agreed.
"Same. He was too powerful." Asui agreed as well.
Sam chuckled, "Listen, kids. You may have used the Legendary Rangers for their abilities, but it was your teamwork alone that led you to your victory. You mustn't disregard that fact."
Midoriya nodded, "Will do, Mr. Sam."
Sam sighed, "Please just say Sam."
The four of them laughed. It unfortunately didn't last long when the sudden arrival of an earthquake. This earthquake was highly odd though, as its magnitude is much more worrisome than the usual. This familiar earthquake horrified Sam, as he and veteran Rangers had already experienced something similar before.
"This is bad!" Sam shouted worriedly.
"Huh!? Why!?" Uraraka shouted back, as her voice couldn't be heard due to the earthquake.
Midoriya knew what Sam was worried about, which made him extremely worried as well, "A villain is growing into a kaiju-size. And something tells me it's someone we fought recently."
"Thunder Starfish." Sam said, which widened Uraraka and Asui's eyes.
A few seconds later, Thunder Starfish grew in size and destroyed half of the ceiling that the Rangers were in. The Rangers had to jump off the ceiling to avoid being squashed by the villain unintentionally. When they landed on the ground, they looked at Thunder Starfish who was 41 meters tall.
"I'm alive!" Thunder Starfish exclaimed enthusiastically while laughing before looking down at the tiny Rangers, "What are you going to do now, Rangers!? How are you going to stop me without your precious Zords!?"
"He's right. We don't have a lot of Zords in our base." Sam said while resisting the urge to clench his fist. "There's only three available working Zords, but they need to be piloted by their specific Ranger in order to be used for their full power. And also the fact they are different Zords. They cannot be formed together. It's too risky."
"What are we going to do…!?" Uraraka asked worriedly.
Thunder Starfish continued to laugh, "While you continue to watch in despair, I will go and destroy the city! Those 'Pro Heroes' aren't strong enough to me in this size! Not even that giantess hero is the same size as me! Toodaloo!"
As Thunder Starfish makes his way back to the city, he'll arrive in a few seconds due to his enormous size. The Power Rangers couldn't do anything to stop him due to the fact the Zords are different, thanks to Lord Drakkon, who destroyed almost all of them and used their parts to make something dangerous, such as the Gravezord. It then gives Midoriya a thought.
"Hey, didn't Lord Drakkon build that Megazord for Ranger Slayer?" Midoriya asked, remembering the footage where the Gravezord made its first appearance and demolished the Samurai Megazord and Lightspeed Megazord in an instant. "Isn't it made out of pieces from Thunder Megazord, White Tigerzord, and Tor the Shuttlezord? It should be possible right?"
"Theoretically, but how? We only did it one time when Jen Scotts calculated which Zords were compatible, but we don't have any geniuses to calculate in our base to see if it's possible to form a new Megazord." Sam said. "Besides, it's too risky. We only have three Zords available, and if the merge fails, then they'll either malfunction or be destroyed."
"What are the Zords, Sam?" Midoriya asked, ignoring the last part.
"You have already seen the Sub Driver. Then there's the Raptor Zord, once owned by the Dino Charge Green Ranger. And there's my own Zord, Omegamax Cycle." Sam answered. "My Omegamax Cycle has lost its ability to transform into a Megazord. It was badly damaged and we don't have a professional technician to fix it, though some are still training to be one."
"It's risky without calculations, right? Then what about magic?" Midoriya asked. "I can transform into the Titan Phoenix, which is essentially a mystical Zord. My Zord will be the main body, the Sub Driver will be the left arm, the Raptor Zord will be the right arm, and your Omegamax Cycle will be the feet as well as forming an 'armor-esque' around my body."
"You have been studying too much about Power Rangers, Deku." Uraraka said, concerning Midoriya's mental fatigue for learning too much about the colourful heroes and their Zords.
"This is risky, kid." Sam said worriedly.
"It's worth trying. Thunder Starfish has already invaded the city by now." Midoriya said. "Are we going to try it or not?"
Sam sighed after giving some enough thought, "Alright. Let's try it out. It works better."
"Except there's one problem? Who will be driving those Zords, ribbit?" Asui asked curiously.
"Isn't that obvious? It's you guys!" Midoriya answered, which surprised the two of them. "You can morph into the Dino Charge Green Ranger, Asui. And Uraraka, I assume you have the Pink Operator Ranger key in your possession?"
"Yeah, I checked all my Ranger keys yesterday." Uraraka answered.
"Then it's settled, you will be the ones piloting the Zords." Midoriya declared them, which still surprised the both of them.
"If we manage to form this brand new Megazord, we must finish the fight quickly." Sam said worriedly. "Those Legendary Ranger forms do not last long, depending on how strong they are. It's fortunate that those two Ranger forms can last longer, but we can't take that chance. The Megazord will be immobilised without its pilots. Do you two understand?"
Uraraka and Asui nodded, "Yes."
"Then let's get this experimentation started." Midoriya said, pulling out the Master Morpher. "Ready!?"
Asui and Uraraka took out their Legendary Morphers while Sam placed his hand on Omega Morpher, "Ready!"
"Magical Source, Mystic Force!" Midoriya shouted before pushing the Master Morpher forward.
"Super Mega Mode!" Uraraka and Asui shouted before putting their Ranger keys on the Legendary Morphers.
"S.P.D. Emergency!" Sam should before pressing a button on his Omega Morpher.
MORPHING SEQUENCE
A spell circle was summoned in the sky, as the Spirit of the Ancient Phoenix descended upon him. After Midoriya executed the same move as the Ancient Titan, he looked up and jumped into the magic circle, forming the suit. The helmets then formed around him magically afterwards.
"Ha!" Midoriya shouted while doing a pose with a spell circle consisting of Mystic Rangers' symbols while fire was emitted whenever he moved his arm before it shifted to him standing on a cliff with a raging fire behind him. "Fearsome as Fire! Red Mystic Ranger!"
A bright pink and green "X" passed through Uraraka and Asui, forming a black clothing with a pirate symbol in the middle. Another bright "X" passed through them, forming pink and green jackets. And the final "X" passed through their heads, forming pink and green helmets with a pirate symbol on their forehead.
"Super Megaforce Pink!" Uraraka announced while doing the comedic poses.
"Super Megaforce Green!" Asui announced while doing the comedic poses.
A hologram of the S.P.D. Omega Ranger suit was projected from the morpher. As soon as Sam flipped forward, the white energy went towards him and formed the suit. He stood back up, as the white helmet then formed around his head.
"S.P.D. Omega Ranger!" Sam announced while spinning his right arm around, forming mirages, before he pointed his left hand while doing a dramatic pose.
MORPHING SEQUENCE ENDED
"Alright, I'll head to the city first. Asui and Uraraka, morph into those Rangers." Midoriya ordered them. "And Sam, contact Jason about our plan and release the two other Zords."
"You got it, kid." Sam said before calling Jason through his morpher while running back to the beach.
"See you there." Midoriya said, leaving Uraraka and Asui to morph.
"Well, let's get this over with." Uraraka said, preparing to pull out the specific Ranger key.
Asui was silent for a while before turning her attention to Uraraka, "Hey, Uraraka. Are you planning to accept the mission, ribbit?"
Uraraka froze from that unexpected question, almost dropping the Ranger key on the ground, "What do you mean?"
"It just seems like… you're enthusiastic about the current situation." Asui pointed out. "When we defeated Thunder Starfish earlier, you were so excited. Are you planning to accept the mission of travelling to other universes?"
Uraraka sighed, "Yeah… and it's not because of my excitement… it's something else."
"What is it?" Asui asked curiously, wondering what made Uraraka change her mind about refusing for multiversal travel.
"I've been… thinking about what Sam said earlier." Uraraka said. "About the fact that everybody has selfish desires, but that doesn't mean we don't have heroic traits. I have only been thinking about solving the problems my parents received, but never gave myself a time of what I wanted to do. My parents even encouraged me to follow my dream rather than their broken ones."
"You told us yesterday that you were a fan of Thirteen." Asui reminded her. "You wanted to be a rescue hero, aren't you, ribbit?"
Uraraka nodded, "It has been my dream since I was a kid… until bankruptcy hits my family."
Asui looked down at the ground, "Sam said that the Project Grid wouldn't have chosen us if we're that selfish, meaning we have noble goals as well. I suppose he was telling the truth about it."
"Yeah, I have always wanted to be a hero that saves people from natural or man-made disasters. Thirteen inspired me to be like that." Uraraka admitted. "And so, I decided to accept the mission. My plan of becoming a Pro Hero to earn money for my parents doesn't change, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't neglect my dream of becoming my own hero."
"…that's well said, Uraraka." Asui complimented her. "I have also decided to accept the mission."
"Why?" Uraraka asked, curious about her friend's reason to accept the mission.
"Lord Drakkon." Asui answered. "He has been in my mind for so long ever since Midoriya showed us the footage of him conquering the world, ribbit. I don't want to see our world become like that. I don't want to see my family live under tyranny. And so, I accepted the mission in order to protect them from the potential invasion, ribbit."
Uraraka smiled behind the helmet, "That's sweet of you, Asui. You're an ideal big sis."
"Thanks, Uraraka. And please call me Tsu." Asui said, which made her friend chuckle. "Shall we morph into a Legendary Ranger now?"
"Yes, we shall. Legendary Ranger Mode!" Uraraka announced before raising the key. "Operation Overdrive!"
"Legendary Ranger Mode!" Asui announced before pulling out the key. "Dino Charge!"
"Overdrive Accelerate! / Unleash the Power!" Uraraka and Asui activated their morphing calls before putting the key on the Legendary Morphers.
MORPHING SEQUENCE
A purple screen hologram that has the image of Pink Overdrive Ranger's suit, helmet, and weapon appeared from the morpher. It then materialised around Uraraka, forming the suit, overtaking the previous one. She then looked up as the helmet materialised around her head instantly.
"Ha! Hiyah!" Uraraka shouted while doing a dramatic pose with a giant pink helmet behind her.
A giant ghostly head of the robotic velociraptor flew out of the morpher and flew around Asu, who was wearing a bright suit, before it bit her from behind, forming the Dino Charge Green Ranger suit. Another set of teeth appeared in front of her (and seemingly bit her head), forming the helmet, overtaking the previous one.
"Velociraptor!" Asui shouted while surrounded by jungle with a Dino Charge symbol behind her. It then shifted back to the regular background while a green explosion occurred behind her. "Power Ranger, Green!"
MORPHING SEQUENCE ENDED
"Let's go help, Midoriya." Asui said.
Uraraka nodded, "Yes."
The two of them then ran to Midoriya's direction.

Hey, my fellow readers. I hope you enjoyed this chapter. The next chapter will involve a Megazord battle, so I hope you're excited for that. What should I name this brand new Megazord, which consists of the Titan Phoenix, Sub Driver, Raptor Zord, and Omegamax Cycle? I was thinking of LegacyMax Megazord, but it doesn't make sense as S.P.D. Omega Ranger isn't a Legacy Ranger. And the Zord is just temporary to combat against Thunder Starfish anyway, so what should it be called?
And as I want to say this because I forgot, but R.I.P. to Jason David Frank. He was the best Power Ranger to ever exist. The literal Legendary Ranger in fact. His White Ranger form will always remain my favourite (mostly because it's a Chinese design). I never thought that Tommy dying in my story would have a more effect when his actor died. He will live forever in our own hearts. Once a Ranger, Always a Ranger.
