Today is Sunday, early in the afternoon.
Kirby wakes up later than usual due to the long day he had yesterday. But yesterday was wonderful, so it was worth waking up late.
He decides to do his usual stroll around the area near his house like he usually does after waking up. Waddle dees and bronto burts are around the area like they often are, so Kirby waves them as they wave back.
Kirby didn't really know what else to do right now but to go to the pond that he went to yesterday morning to look at his reflection again.
Today, looking at his reflection through the water, this time he just thinks about all the time he's spent over at Waddle Dee Town in the New World. That was always such a wonderful place to be at. He's been hanging out there periodically for about three years now, which is how long it was ago when the incident involving the New World happened. That's how much he's loved the place.
He's already built up a lot of memories from Waddle Dee Town. Even including when he had a part time job there, which he doesn't have anymore, but he was still happy to be in the place nonetheless.
Kirby wonders if he should just give Waddle Dee town another visit? It's been over a week ago since he was last there. It wouldn't hurt to give them another visit! He does have the personal portal he can use to go to the New World anytime he wants. It wouldn't hurt to visit Elfilin again!
However..
Something suddenly occurs to make him stop those thoughts.
Noises in the sky happen. It catches Kirby's attention as he turns around and looks up.
As he looks up, he sees... Susie, piloting in her Business Suit? She came... all the way from Shiver Star... to Kirby's home area? And she wasn't alone. She was followed by a transporter carrying a... spare Robobot Armor with nobody in it?
Kirby was shocked in the first few seconds of seeing her. He didn't know how to process this situation. Did Susie just decide to visit him like what he did to her last night? He certainly wouldn't have expected that, because she didn't make any hints at all on doing that. He's happy to see Susie again, but he's not sure why she's coming here right now? And why is that spare Robobot Armor here?
He didn't know. But he won't try to assume a reason for it. He'll let Susie explain why it's here, so he doesn't spoil himself.
As the former secretary begins to land her Business Suit onto the ground, Kirby waves at her. She waves back with the yellow visor still covering her face. When she finally lands right in front of Kirby, she jumps out and then retracts the visor to show her eyes, facing Kirby.
"Hi, Pinky!" she said in a cheerful tone, with her eyes doing that happy squint.
"Hiiii!" replied the little pink hero. "I got surprised when I saw you appear again! But I get to see you again, hi!"
Susie giggled. "I could say the same thing about last night when you visited me! Anyhow, the reason I've come here is because I've got a wonderful gift for you!" She gestures towards the spare Robobot Armor. The transporter flew off after it placed the Armor onto the ground. "Would you happen to remember using my company's Robobot Armor? Well, I've decided to get one made just for you! This one is all yours to keep!"
Kirby really felt his heart warming at this moment. He missed using Robobot Armor! He had so much fun using them. He also remembers when Susie gave him one and combined that with the Halberd, and thanked her before leaving to take down Star Dream. He lost the Armor after destroying Star Dream and mourned it for a while. He had no idea that the Armor mourned too and had shed a tear when it had to part ways with Kirby.
But, a long time later after all of that, he finally sees the Robobot Armor again! All thanks to Susie coming by to hand it over to him as a gift. And it didn't even need to be his birthday for him to be receiving this gift!
"Thank you!" Kirby exclaimed, and he didn't even bother following that up with anymore words because he immediately darted towards the Armor and jumped on it. It activated into the pink Kirby-lookalike Robobot that the Armors did every time Kirby jumped onto them.
Susie smiled with her eyes being happily squinted while watching Kirby hop onto the Robobot Armor. "I'm taking a day off from doing anything at Shiver Star, so I'll stay here longer to hang out around here." she said. "Let's go fly together, little pinky!"
Kirby happily agreed as he decided to take a fun fly with the Robobot Armor, with Susie flying alongside him.
He'd had almost forgotten how fun it was to use Robobot Armor before. But he was quick to regain his memories on what it was like. He really does misses using them. He had a blast beating up baddies with it during the time he got to use them.
This is basically a small nostalgia ride that Kirby is experiencing that made him joy on the inside to be through right now, being around both the Robobot Armor as well as Susie!
Kirby and Susie essentially flew around Dream Land and also in some outer parts on Planet Popstar. They flew together by themselves for about thirty minutes until Marx suddenly appears out of nowhere, flying with his golden wings.
"Hey, hey, hey!" said Marx as he joined Kirby and Susie. "Mind if I join in on this fun?"
"Go for it." replied Susie. "I gave this Armor to Kirby! He's really been loving it. Feel free to fly around with us!"
The three flew around for about twenty more minutes until yet another thing attempts to join them...
And what's joining them this time is.. a small version of the Lor Starcutter?
It looks like Magolor used his magic to spawn a scaled down version of his ship. He's of course inside controlling it, but Taranza can be see at the top of the ship cheering on at the rest of the crew that's flying around. Magolor and Taranza apparently got together and flew around together in this mini Lor Starcutter.
How did these four people that Kirby hugged yesterday suddenly decide to come together for him today? Was it all coincidental for them to come to him today? He had a hard time believing it. It had to be that his visiting and hugging on them left a really big impact on them to the point they decided to return the favor to visit him back.
The fivesome continued to enjoy flying around for a few more hours. They've pretty much gone around the entirety of Planet Popstar.
People on the ground waved at them as they flew by them. Bandana Dee saw them and waved at them as they went around Dream Land. King Dedede and nearby waddle dees saw them on the balcony of his castle. Meta Knight was able to see them from a distance too.
The crew even went far enough to go to Cloudy Park, where they saw Adeleine as she waved at them.
They went through Sand Canyon, where Daroach and the rest of the Squeaks were able to see them.
They went through Whispy Woods' forest and Friendly Field. Gooey and all of the animal friends saw them and waved at them. ChuChu especially cheered upon seeing Susie, furthering showing that the former secretary was right when she said that she was friends with the little octopus.
Dusk time is when they decided to finally be done flying. They've had such a blast doing so. Considering that it's a Sunday and thus is Magolor Day, the crew landed nearby Magolor's house to honor that. They decided to have a picnic near his house to get food in their stomachs. Wow, Kirby literally picnicked with these four exact people before after destroying Void Termina. It's happening again right now right in front of him, and it's insane to him that it's happening again! He's loving that it is happening.
Magolor was eating gem apples, Susie was eating ice cream, Taranza was eating burgers, and then of course both Kirby and Marx just had big piles of food they gorged on.
Magolor and Marx were being goofballs, just like one would expect them to be when they're near each other.
Magolor reveals something. "Well, Kirby, I know it may seem crazy that we've all came together for you today. But that's because I initiated the call amongst each other and we organized it!" he said. "I started the call this morning to get it planned out, and I think you might've been asleep when it happened."
"You did?" replied Kirby. "That has to explain it. Because I was absolutely shocked to see you all coming to see me! Like surely this was thought out? Before, I was thinking maybe my hugs left an impression on all of you and you just wanted to return the favor?"
"Well, you're right that it did leave an impression on us!" said Taranza. "To be honest, I would've likely came to visit you soon anyways even if Magolor didn't call me about this plan. You genuinely made my day yesterday, Kirby!" Kirby felt his heart get warmer during Taranza's remarks.
"Mags was smart to keep the surprise factor in all of it, heheheheh." said Marx. "We chose not to reveal the plan to you immediately and we came at you gradually! Anyways, we're all glad you thought about us yesterday, buddy."
"I love all of you!" said Kirby. "And I really have to thank Susie so much for that Robobot!"
That put a heartfelt expression on Susie's face. "I'm so glad to see that you're loving it so much!" she said. "I'm sorry that it's only been now that it crossed my mind to give it to you for you to keep. I've been going through so much over these last few years, and thus it makes me a little slow to come up with certain things. But I am happy to have finally been able to come up with giving it to you. And I'm still very appreciative that you came to see me last night!"
"I'm sorry you've been going through a lot, Miss Susie." said Taranza. He just about always uses the term "Miss" when talking to girls. "I know how it feels, because I've also been through a lot. But at least friends still have each other and can still help each other out, despite rough times."
"Awww.." replied Susie, as she gave Taranza a friendly pat on his back as a thank you for those comments. Taranza has always been nice to Susie ever since they first met when joining the Star Allies. Even when other members of the Star Allies expressed their skepticism about Susie, Taranza stood up for her. He did the same for Magolor when doubts were expressed about him too.
"I wonder where Kirby's gonna keep that thing? Like, where would he put it when he's not using it?" asked Marx, referring to the Robobot Armor.
"I suddenly just had the same thought." said Kirby. "I was so focused on having fun with it that.. I.. didn't think of where I could put it."
"I may be able to get a little storage area built near your house for you to keep it in there, if you'd like." said Susie.
"That wouldn't be a bad idea!" said Magolor. "That being said, I do have an alternative suggestion. You know that the full-size Lor Starcutter is sitting behind Merry Magoland? There's enough room for that thing to fit inside. I don't fly it anymore since I don't have any plans to ever leave Dream Land as my home, and thus I could allow it to be used as a safe place for Kirby's robot."
"Hmm..." said Susie. "Well, it would be more helpful if it was closer in proximity to Kirby's home. But if he decides he really wants it to be sitting inside your ship instead, that'd be fine. Let me know if Kirby makes a final decision on where he wants to put it."
"I'm sure we can get that figured out soon enough." said Magolor. "I can simply call you whenever he figures out what he wants on that front."
"I think the Galactic Nova could make an even better suggestion where to put it! How about asking him for help?" said Marx, who then proceeds to burst in laughter right after saying that. Everyone else laughed as soon as they processed that he was joking.
The crew hung out for a couple more hours, until it finally became nighttime.
Taranza, Susie and Marx decided that it's finally time to go. Magolor would stick around with Kirby for longer, but the other three gave their goodbyes. Kirby hugged all three of them 1-on-1 a second time before they left.
"Alright guys, see y'all later! Kirby, stay amazing, buddy!" said Marx.
"Bye guys! Have a great rest of your night!" said Taranza. "And Kirby, it's always such a treat to see you." He gave Kirby a friendly pat on the head.
"See you guys later!" said Susie, and then turns her attention to Kirby. "And bye-bye, little pinky! You're such a pure little soul, thank you so much for coming to see me last night!" Her last remark put a smile on Kirby's face.
"Byyyeeee!" Kirby said to the three that were leaving.
"Thanks for hanging out, guys! I had fun with all of you!" Magolor said to them.
The three then left. Taranza went back to Floralia, Susie took her Business Suit to head back to Shiver Star, and Marx flew off back into space, as he didn't say where he'll go next.
And with them leaving, Kirby and Magolor were the ones left remaining. Kirby decided to stick nearby Magolor for a little longer.
They spent about one more hour together. Magolor had Kirby play around with a couple of masks during that time. One of these instances was Kirby wearing a mask of Landia, which then Magolor pretended to be scared of him. Another instance was Kirby wearing a mask of Galacta Knight and pretended to be him, with Magolor laughing while watching it happen.
Then after they cleaned up from the picnic, Kirby decided it was finally time to go home.
"Thanks so much for sticking around, Kirby." said Magolor. "I think for now, we can put Susie's gift inside the full-size Lor Starcutter. If you decide that you do want that storage unit that she offered to make, let me know. But until then, we'll have it inside my ship."
"That would work! I still haven't made a final decision on it, maybe I could want that storage unit, but I don't know yet." said Kirby.
"All good. I'm sure you had an absolutely fantastic last couple of days. I believed you deserved to have the favor returned to you when you visited them yesterday, and thus that's what led to me coming up with that plan earlier today."
Kirby smiled. "Thank you so much. Thank you and thank the others. Byee!"
"Bye, buddy!"
Kirby hugged Magolor, and then went back to his home.
There were a few waddle dees still hanging around in the area near his home. We gave them a goodnight wave before entering his house.
He sat inside of his house for about less than two hours until finally falling asleep. These last couple of days were just precious.
Kirby has made wonderful friends, despite many of them having given him trouble in the past, but it didn't matter because he made up with them since.
He just missed some of them and wanted to see them again, and give them all hugs. Which he did! And they returned the favor the next day.
How beautiful that all happened.
Magolor has been legitimately sorry since his betrayal and never did such a thing again.
Taranza never did bad things again after Sectonia had to be put to rest, and made lots of amends to Dedede to make up for kidnapping him and also to Kirby for kidnapping his friend.
Susie stopped doing bad things to Planet Popstar ever since Star Dream was destroyed and has made amends with Kirby and has been genuine friends with him ever since.
Marx, after regaining his consciousness a long time after being crashed into Galacta Nova, has never antagonized Kirby again and has made amends with him since.
They may have all done Kirby wrong one way or another, but that was behind them now, and Kirby has been in good peace with them for a long time now.
He's even cared enough about them to even go out of his way to visit them and hug them. They all very much appreciated it.
Kirby has been having a great night sleep tonight. A well-earned rest after these last two amazing days.
He's probably just going to have a peaceful upcoming week.
