My Own Personal Nurse

Author's Note: Thanks to Saori-nee, I wanted to write a Chiaki x Ringo story of my own. I hope the translation for the games come out soon. I really want to see all the Nurse stories, honestly. It's about time they did it. I was about to give up on them.

Ringo slowly opens her eyes, her vision blurry. She lets out a groggy sound as she blinks twice, then three times to clear her vision. The first thing she sees is a gentle smile of her beloved cousin and girlfriend, Chiaki. She has put a wet rag on her forehead after washing it. And to top it all off…Chiaki is wearing her nurse uniform! Here at the house instead of at school! The violet haired woman just giggles and pets her darling little cousin.
"You're awake, Ringo-chan~" Chiaki says.
"Wh-whaaa….?" Ringo groans as she tries to sit up, but Chiaki gently sets her down.
"Settle down now," Chiaki says, her voice being very gentle for the soul. "You passed out in the kitchen while trying to make dinner. And it was after exams, too."
"Oh…right…" Ringo finally remembers what happened.
She was studying very hard for exams, aiming to be the top so that she can impress Chiaki, who is a registered nurse. She thought she could meet her beloved cousin's expectations by studying each and every detail nurses do at hospitals, some complicated medical terms she should memorize and so on. She studied day and night, meaning she spent time with Chiaki less and less. And even though Chiaki is a slob at home, Ringo is still her responsibility. She has taken care of Ringo before when she was sick and now it's happening again. When will Ringo ever learn?
"Come on, Ringo-chan," Chiaki frowns. "We've been over this."
"Sorry, Chiaki-chan," Ringo says softly. Her throat is hurting from the fever she got.
"Why would you do something so reckless, anyways?" Chiaki asks as she pats the wet rag on Ringo's forehead. "Was it the exams?"
Ringo nods. "I thought if…if I could get at least to the top…you would be very happy that I am working so hard. I wanted to become a great nurse just like you, after all."
"Oh, Ringo-chan," Chiaki puts the rag aside and sits on the edge of the bed. "I appreciate the effort, but…Ringo-chan…you know I love you, no matter what."
"But…" Ringo starts, but the beautiful violet haired woman cuts her off.
"Doing something so careless like that isn't healthy for you," Chiaki continues. She gently pets her little cousin, even pushing away a few tresses of Ringo's hair. "You know that, right? But, even if you did, you still do it anyways. Ufufu~"
"Ch-Chiaki-chan…" Ringo whines.
"Listen, scoring the best results IS good for your grades," Chiaki says. "But acting so careless about your health is bad. I might even have to force you to bed if this keeps up."
"I-I'm so sorry, Chiaki-chan…" Ringo starts to cry, tears falling from her eyes. "I just wanted to…impress you…"
"And you are," Chiaki says with a gentle smile on her face. "Both here and at school. Do not think that you cannot be loved by me because you are a failure. I mean, look at me. I'm not very good at being organized. Ufufu~! What does that tell you~?"
Ringo lets out a soft giggle. "I-I guess that's true."
"So there you go~" Chiaki says, petting her little cousin again. "Both of us have our flaws and that's perfectly fine because in the end…we love each other all the same~"
"Th-thank you…Chiaki-chan," Ringo says with a soft smile.
The cute younger cousin is glad that she can rely on Chiaki more than she thinks. And the fact that the older cousin accepts Ringo no matter what makes things even better.
"That reminds me~" Chiaki stands up from the bed and rubs her chin in thought. "Since we live together and I am a full time nurse…wouldn't that mean…I am YOUR personal nurse, Ringo-chan~?"
"I-I guess that's true," Ringo replies.
"Goodness, what a great way to think about this~" Chiaki cups a hand to her cheek. "Me being a personal nurse to my beloved Ringo-chan~? Ohhhh, there are MANY possibilities that would unfold~!"
"Um…Chiaki-chan?" Ringo deadpans. "You aren't thinking of…ridiculous things, are you?"
"Should I playfully give Ringo-chan a flu shot~?" Chiaki is totally lost in her fantasy. "Should I playfully put on a cast on either of her limbs? Caress that part of her limb and give it kisses to make them better~? Oh, oh, oh! I would give some medicine to Ringo-chan mouth to mouth! Sure most of it would taste icky, but maybe with Ringo-chan's taste, it would mask the sour flavor~!"
"Chiaki-chan, stooop!" Ringo cries. "I'm still sick here!"
"Ufufufu! Oh, don't worry, Ringo-chan~!" Chiaki turns toward her beloved cousin, standing tall and puffing out her enormous chest. "As YOUR personal nurse, I shall help you get well as soon as possible so you can go to school tomorrow~!"
"I don't like where this is going…" Ringo can only sigh.
