After very little thought, Kishi decided that it was probably best for her not to spend alone time with Tony. He was always at the beckon call of the Boss and had a weird possessiveness over her and her quirk. Both in terms of wanting to protect her, but also to throw her at any sign of danger as a shield against quirks.
Joey lived in a surprisingly large apartment for one person. It was fully decorated. Most of the wall decorations were either signed posters of musicians or mounted instruments. An exception to this was a small photograph of Joey with two older cat people, Kishi assumed it was his parents. That was hung in the entry. They seemed to be at a beach. All three were smiling. Kishi felt a twinge of something in her heart, but she wasn't sure if it was jealousy or cringe.
"You play?" Kishi asked as she removed her shoes.
"Jack of all, master of none" Joey responded in English.
Kishi wasn't exactly fluent in English and only really retained what was necessary for traveling abroad.
"You speak English?" Kishi asked, trying to sound impressed as she followed Joey further into his home.
"All my life" Joey explained. Joey opened a door and revealed a bedroom. It was basically empty except for a futon that laid on the floor. "This will be your room until we know if the creep reported you."
"He's not a creep. And I doubt someone like him would report me." Kishi responded as she started removing the extension clips from her hair and tossing them down to the floor.
"How are you so sure?" Joey asked
"It was the way he looked at me." Kishi retorted
"You think you seduced a man well enough to obstruct justice?" Joey was nearly laughing.
"No, I think he wanted to kill me badly enough that he wouldn't even consider going near the police." Kishi replied as a smile involuntarily crept onto her face.
"Kishi Meiko, age 20. Quirk: Null. All physical quirks do not affect her. Residence unknown. Born and Raised in Osaka to Kishi Maro, ex-yakuza & Kishi Anzu, housewife. No known siblings. Kishi ran away from her family in Osaka and attended UA under a false name. She dropped out at the end of her third year due to a family issue. There is no record of her after that. " Kurogiri informed.
"Quirks don't affect her…So it's similar to that eraser hero… " Shigaraki muttered. That would make her ideal for a physical relationship with me.
"While any-. " Kurogiri continued.
But Shigaraki had stopped listening.
A physical relationship. Shigaraki could feel his impatience rising. After the failure at USJ, Shigaraki needed something to distract him while his wounds healed. Master had told him to gather more villains, but his broker hadn't brought anything yet.
Shigaraki grabbed his coat from off the bar.
"I'm going shopping," he stated.
The streets of Kamino Ward were filled with the sounds of sirens, cars, and people loudly talking. The neon lights flickered, illuminating the various drunks laying outside. Shigaraki wandered unseen. The first two convenience stores he passed were closed due to crime sprees.
This was becoming stupid, Shigaraki's annoyance was outweighing his hunger. Shigaraki was about to call Kurogiri when he saw a flickering light from inside the third convenience store he had passed. He couldn't believe his luck. No signs in weeks then there she was, dressed in a blue uniform, her hair was much shorter, and she wore no makeup. But there was no doubt it was her. This was it, chapter 2.
He entered the small shop, compared to outside this place was quiet. The hum of the freezers, and the staticy audio from the old TV, playing local news, that hung in the corner.
Kishi sat behind the counter, playing with a lighter, something she was most likely not supposed to do. But the slight burn the flame gave her made her feel nostalgic. She placed it in her pocket when she heard the doors open. To her surprise, the blue haired stranger from the mall had entered. Dressed in black, his bandages slightly exposed under his dark trench coat.
Shigaraki started down an aisle. Thinking about what he was going to do. Absentmindedly grabbing noodles from the shelf. Was he supposed to wait until she said something? Was an event going to trigger? She didn't say anything when he came in, was he supposed to start?
Two more people entered the store. Two men, a large one with the head of a Hippopotamus and one small with huge bug-like eyes. Both were dressed like your average thug.
"Oy, girl." The bug cocked his head, "You thought about my offer?". He smiled.
Kishi scrunched up her face with disgust.
"Same answer as yesterday. No way in hell ". Kishi replied.
"Come now, you were so sweet the first time we met." Bug gestured his hand. Hippo yanked the plastic barrier that separated the customers from the staff.
"I work in customer service, it's my job to be nice." Kishi spat as she reached down under the counter.
"Don't even think about getting the Heroes involved, you know that doesn't do anything." Bug taunted waving a gun at her.
This was it, an event. A mini boss battle.
"If you aren't going to buy anything, move." Shigaraki stated, with a small amount of instant noodles in hand.
"You deal with the sick kid." Bug command to Hippo. Hippo picked up an aisle and threw it towards Shigaraki. Shigaraki placed his free hand out and decayed the aisle, still being hit with the various items that fell off it. Hippo froze as he watched as the heavy metal object disintegrated in front of him. The old TV was broadcasting the recent attack on UA. Hippos eyes widen as he made the connection between the hand covered man on screen and the blue haired monster in front of him. Hippo wanted to charge for the exit, no amount of money was worth dying for. However his fear kept him in place. Shigaraki glanced over at Kishi to see her hands up, staring at Bug. the Bug pointing his gun at her head, but staring at Shigaraki. In a swift motion Shigaraki moved towards Hippo and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"That hurt" Shigaraki whispered. Hippo cried out in pain as decay slowly crept along his body. Bug changed directions of where his gun was pointing and fixed on Shigaraki.
"This has nothing to do with you." Bug choked out. Kishi took the opportunity to duck behind the counter.
"I'm afraid it does, as I am her boyfriend." Shigaraki smiled. These kind of games, loved reusing the same lines said from previous chapters. He felt confident that his progress definitely improved.
Bug turned white.
"She never mentioned a boyfriend, I would-" Bug stammered
"I shouldn't have to, after all no means no, regardless of being single or not." Kishi spat from her hiding spot. Shigaraki scratched his neck as he approached Bug. Bug fired, and missed horribly. Shigaraki grabbed Bug's neck and threw him to the floor. Kishi slowly stood up as she heard Bug's scream. Kishi watched in delight as Bug slowly died, panic riddled his face as he desperately tried to move. The pest became ash.
Shigaraki placed his noodles on the counter. Kishi looked around the store, two dust piles were all that remained of the two that had been harassing her for the past week. She glanced down at the noodles then up at the red eyed man. He wore the same enthusiastic expression he did in the alley a few weeks ago. He was so disconnected from life and death, from reality itself. What was he thinking? What he had done was so easy, so brutal, so beautiful.
"Thats the second time you saved me this week." She said sweetly, like he hadn't just killed two people in front of her.
"You're not disturbed?" He asked as he watched her start to ring him through.
"Why would I be? It's not like those scum didn't deserve it. Plus, thanks to your quirk it's a lot less mess, than I originally thought I'd be cleaning up. So thank you." She smiled, that was an honest answer. Kishi glanced at the gun under the counter and thought about how long it would have taken to clean if the stranger hadn't shown up. She looked at his cracked face, he looked rough the last time she saw him, but he looked extra today.
Her smile shifted into concern as she leaned across the counter and touched his face. This was it, chapter 2 had begun.
"You're bleeding." She said as she wiped one of the cuts with her thumb. "I got proper first aid upstairs." She removed her hand from his face and immediately Shigaraki missed its warmth.
"There's no need." He replied. He was honestly sick of medical attention.
"I insist." She stated as she hopped the counter. She flipped the open sign to close and locked the doors. She gestured for him to follow her into the back.
For a woman who walks around with bags of cash, her apartment did not show it. It was small and cramped, her kitchen was more of a short hallway, her couch looked like it doubled as her bed, as there were pillows and blankets thrown across it. Across from the couch was a fair sized TV, coffee table, cabinet and laptop. There was a single door, which must have been her bathroom.
"Make yourself comfortable, I'll go get the kit." Kishi said as she exited through the door. Shigaraki sat down on the plush couch, wondering how long it could possibly take to find a first aid kit in a place so small. On a more positive note, with a place this small, I'd probably only needed to hide one camera to get a full view.
"You know I don't even know your name." Kishi said as she re-emerged, changed out of her uniform and into gray sweats, carrying a large first aid kit.
"It's a scrape, we're not reattaching an arm," Shigaraki stated. Kishi sat down beside him and started cleaning up the blood. Shigaraki found it odd as she touched him. Even with the sting of whatever she was cleaning him with, he wanted to lean into her touch.
"There, good as new." Kishi smiled as she placed a small blue bandage on his cheek. Her hand rested on his face and Shigaraki wasted no time placing his hand over hers to keep it there. He looked into her eyes and watched in delight as her face turned red. He raised his free hand to wrap around her, when the loud ringing sound of her phone interrupted him. Her eyes that were locked on him a moment ago, quickly darted to the infuriating device. Her red face that was filled with bewilderment was replaced by one of annoyance. She stood up, freeing herself from his grasp. Shigaraki's eye twitched as he scratched at his neck. He watched as she violently picked up the phone.
"What?!" She snapped at whoever was on the other line.
The other person's voice was faint, but Shigaraki could still manage to make out the conversation.
"Why is he in your house?" Tony demanded.
A man's voice?
"Are you spying on me?" Kishi stormed over to the singular window in the apartment and quickly opened it. She stuck her head out and frantically scanned the area. The new noise pollution made it harder for Shigaraki to detect what was being said.
"I was worried." Tony justified. "Now tell him to get out. Letting you go home was a mistake. You'll stay with me until I know you aren't going to be found"
"I'll do whatever I want. Now get lost." Kishi flipped the bird, hoping that in the sea of people out there Tony would see it.
"Don't make me say it Ruby." his voice was slow and threatening.
"You. Wouldn't. Dare." She hissed.
"The Bo-" Tony started.
Kishi hung up and whipped the phone down to the street below. A smirk on her face as she watched the device smash into hundreds of pieces below. She slammed the window shut and closed the curtains.
Shigaraki watched as she ran her fingers through her hair. He was clearly interrupting something. And it pissed him off that she was ignoring him, and thinking about whoever was on the phone. He scratched at his neck and looked around the room, his eyes were met with a switch system sitting in the glass cabinet, the only console she seemed to own.
Kishi took a deep breath and noticed her guest was glaring at her television.
"Wanna play a game?" She asked, as she turned on the TV.
An hour into playing Mario Kart and Kishi hadn't won a single race. Even with both of his pinkies lifted, on a half broken controller he was beating her ass. While she was enjoying having someone to play with, the rage of not being able to win was starting to form. Kishi needed a drink. Shigaraki watched as she retrieved a case of some cheap beer from her fridge and placed it down on the small coffee table in front of them.
"Wanna make this more interesting?"She asked. As she offered him a beer. It tasted repulsive, he set his can down on the table before setting up the next game. Kishi thought her question might have been ignored until he spoke as the next race began.
"How?" Shigaraki asked, still staring at the game.
"Whoever wins a race gets to ask a question. The other person has to answer, no matter the question." She needed to know more about this guy, at least his name. Did he stalk her? or was it pure coincidence? She had thought about him a few times since their last encounter. He definitely had the same mindset as her when it came to death. He didn't report her, so maybe he didn't trust the heroes? Or the heroes didn't trust him? Conversation had come to a halt. Kishi looked over at the man in front of her, mentally undressing him. He is really cute… in a scary/sexy way. If she wanted to play a different game with him, he'd need to open up a bit.
Shigaraki felt his focus leaving him as he nearly went off track. Any questions I want can be answered.
"Fine, but you can't get upset by the questions or the answers." He replied.
"Deal, same to you" She answered.
Of course the first win went to Shigaraki.
Shigaraki had many questions, but decided to go with the one that was bugging him the most.
"What's your relationship with the man on the phone?" Shigaraki asked as the next race was about to begin.
"He's my supervisor." She replied.
Shigaraki wins.
"Are you and your supervisor in a relationship?" Shigaraki asked.
"God, no, I think he's just possessive because of my quirk." Kishi replied.
Shigaraki wins
"What is your quirk?"
"Quirks that would physically affect me either don't or are redirected. Mental ones still work just fine." She sounded a bit bitter as she chugged half a can. "Those ones are scary."
Shigaraki wins
"Did my quirk scare you?" Shigaraki wasn't sure why that was his next question.
"Not really. In fact it was kinda the opposite. It's extremely powerful, but I kind of expected something like it after you tried to kill me with it when we met." She responded. Shit.
Shigaraki knew one wrong move and all of his progress would be over.
"Calm down. I'm not upset over it. In fact I found it very refreshing. I'm not usually a thief, and every person who kept getting in my way I wanted to kill. So I totally get it." Kishi said gaining some hope at winning as she slid into first place for the first time of the night. Shigaraki relaxed and looked over at her. She was biting her lip, hunched over staring at the glowing screen. He had a few more questions before he wanted to answer any of hers.
Shigaraki wins.
"What do you think of heroes?"
"They'll only help you, if it will help their careers." She responded. "They think they're better than the so-called villains. But when push comes to shove, they'll act just as wickedly. I'm sure the good guys kill their fair share too."
Shigaraki was satisfied with her answer.
Shigaraki wins.
"Have you ever killed anyone?" He asked
"Yes." She replied, "I mostly take on assassin work. My quirk allows a sense of powerlessness which causes most to freeze up. It's a great window to kill in" She spoke very clinically.
Shigaraki smiled.
Shigaraki wins
"Why do you give up information so easily?"
"One, we're playing a game." Kishi nudged Shigaraki's arm, "And two, I want to make it hard on my Boss to do anything he wants. I wish to see him and his organization away information about me, gives information away about him" Shigaraki could feel the intensity of her voice.
Shigaraki wins. Kishi stretched her arms above her head, causing her stomach to be exposed. Shigaraki stared at her skin.
"Do you find me attractive?" He asked
"Yes, I do." She responded with a sickeningly sweet smile. Shigaraki could feel his heart racing. "Were you going to let me kiss you?" His words struck Kishi. The game was going to change soon, and she needed a little more liquid courage before jumping in.
"You need to win the next race, before I answer that." Kishi stated as she gave him a wink. Shigaraki was fighting the urge to just grab her, but he knew these games usually end if you get too greedy too soon. Kishi cracked open another beer.
Shigaraki wins
"Have you ever been in a relationship before?"
"No. Never had a boyfriend, a proper date, or sex" She stated. Kishi was starting to feel the alcohol and desperately wanted to switch games. Kishi tied her hair back, hoping that her face wouldn't be too red.
Excitement took over Shigaraki as Kishi set up the next race. Everything they would do together would be her first. He would be her first. She would be his and his alone. As deviant thoughts filled his head, he didn't notice the blue shell that hit him right before the finish line.
Kishi wins.
Kishi jumped onto her feet in victory and bounced around.
"Finally!" She screeched. Shigaraki scratched his neck, he still had questions. But his frustration quickly vanished. In her excitement she jumped onto his lap, straddling him between her legs. Her hands on his shoulders, slightly shaking him as she spoke.
"What is your name?" She asked cheerfully.
Shigaraki abandoned the controller and placed his hands on her hips. Making sure his pinkies didn't touch the fabric. Shigaraki was trying to take full advantage of the situation as she moved on his lap, he tightened his grip on her. It was taking a lot for him not to decay the clothing that separated them.
"Hey, you have to answer." Kishi nagged.
"Shigaraki Tomura" he responded, his pants becoming uncomfortably tight.
"Tomura" She said, slowly leaning forward, closer to his face. Finally a reward for completing chapter 2.
She placed her lips to his nearly raw neck. The trail of kisses slowly going up towards his face. Her warm breath on his skin made his heart race. Shigaraki started shifting back and forth, rubbing himself against her as she whispered,
"Will it be your time first too?"
Kishi pulled away and freed Shigaraki from his jacket and shirt. Throwing them to the floor. She noticed the bandages and history of battle on his body. She ran her hands over his chest, feeling increasingly aroused by the way he moved under her touch.
However the sound of banging on the door stopped her progression.
"Ignore it." Shigaraki gritted as he tightened his grip on her. She smiled as her eyes met his. Those red eyes filled with threatening desperation. Eyes like that you don't meet everyday.
She moved her hands slowly across him, resting one on his neck the other on the side of his face.
The banging on the door continued.
"Ruuuubyyy, let me innnnnn!" a drunken feminine voice whined. Why the Fuck was Indy here?!
Kishi's eyes rolled as she heard Indy plead to come in. She shook her head slightly, trying to get back into the mood. Shigaraki raised one hand under her baggy sweater, placing his palm against her skin as it went along her spine searching for a bra clasp. To his delight, there was none to be found.
"Ruuuby, I' I'm gonna kick the door down!" Indy screamed. The sound of the door being repeatedly kick followed.
"Go away!" Kishi screeched.
"Noooooooo!" Indy continued her assault on the door. Kishi tried to get up, but Shigaraki's strength kept her in place.
"Let me in!" Indy screeched.
Kishi leaned in and pressed her lips against Shigaraki's. Attempting to drown out the drunken pleas coming from her hallway. Shigaraki pulled her in as close as possible and opened his mouth gaining access to hers. She tasted like that cheap beer, but this time he didn't find it disgusting, in fact it was the most delicious taste he's ever experienced. The world lost its sound as he felt her hands rise and run through his hair. A moment of bliss as he was the only thing in her mind. He pulled her in as tightly as he comfortably could. He moved his hand along her back to her side and cupped her breast. The sound she made was one that he could get addicted to. As he started to massage her, she began to move on his lap. The soft flesh in his hand was a sensation he never thought he'd be able to fully experience. Her sounds were becoming louder, her movements were becoming faster and her nipple was becoming harder. He felt her hands fall to his chest as she pushed against him and pulled away, gasping for air.
"Tomura." Kishi breathed. Shigaraki desperately wanted to decay his remaining clothes, but that would mean releasing his hold on her.
. "Meiko" Shigaraki replied. He watched as her eyes fluttered and that smile spread onto her face.
Kishi wanted to push him down right there. He was adorable, in a daze after one kiss. A monster who murders anyone who's inconvenient, was a mere putty in her hands. She could feel him under her as they kissed. It was romantic, passionate, dangerous, everything she wanted her first time to be.
The sound of wood cracking disrupted the ecstasy.
Shigaraki gave her room to move, that he quickly regretted, as she twisted herself out of his grasp
Kishi wanted to toss her top off and let the night take her. But the sound of the pink haired woman retching on the other side of the door was kind of ruining the mood.
Kishi could hear Indy screaming random noises between the retchs.
Kishi ran to the door. And violently opened it. Indy smiled and attempted to throw her arms around Kishi, but was thwarted by Kishi.
"What?!" Kishi demanded.
"You aren't answering your phone." Indy slurred.
"It broke." Kishi scoffed.
"Tony said to tell you-" Indy started.
"Tell Tony, if I hear his name one more time tonight I'll kill him. Now leave." Kishi demanded. She attempted to slam the door but Indy's foot was in the way. Indy positioned herself tightly between the door and frame as she tried to gain further entry.
"The Boss demands you come home." Indy's voice was clear, and it stung in the back of Kishis skull.
"You fucking bitch!" Kishi placed one hand on the door frame and the other on the knob. She mustered her strength and kicked the drunken woman, sending her backwards into the hall, losing the contents of her stomach. Kishi was losing vision in her left eye. She closed the door. She could feel heat radiating from the man that stood behind her. As Kishi turned around, Shigaraki was surprised to see her left eye had gone blank, staring directly in front herself. While her right eye seemed to desperately dart around. Shigaraki raised his arm, planning on pinning her to the door. A popular trope in dating sims. But was foiled as Kishi ducked and walked under his arm towards the couch.
"You need to leave." Kishi coldly threw Shigaraki's clothes at him.
"I didn't do anything wrong" Shigarakis frustration was leaking out.
"Of course not. If it were up to me, we'd be having sex on the couch right now." Kishi explained as she reached under the couch and retrieved a gun. "But unfortunately, there's a family emergency I need to attend to."
Kishi placed the gun in a purse and swung it over her shoulder.
Shigaraki blocked the exit, scratching at his neck.
Kishi picked up a pen, and grabbed Shigaraki's arm, writing a sequence of numbers and letters on his skin.
"My discord. I won't have a phone for a while." Kishi explained as she put the pen in her purse. "I should be back by next week, we can unpause our game then."
Shigaraki grabbed the side of her face and pulled her in for a kiss. She threw her arms around his neck and for a moment he thought she would stay in his arms. But when she pulled away, he noticed she had moved him so she had access to the door.
"Close the door on your way out. Till next time, Tomura." Kishi said as she exited. Shigaraki opened the door and she was gone. But the drunk that ruined his night still laid on the ground, mumbling and crying. Shigaraki didn't think of the consequences or penalties of the game, as he decayed the pink haired drunk.
