When Riley was born she thought that maybe she made a mistake, maybe she didn't have magic like she wanted. She still had her memories of her past life and the knowledge that came with it. Though it was already fading even though she is just 6 months old. The only thing that is truly sticking is the reason for her leaving and also the reason she wanted to stay. Her family and Magic, not the specific stories that lead to her decision, just that having magic is all she ever dreamed of. It wasn't until that same day while she was thinking that she felt it, something that was different, something is her that she doesn't remember being there in the last life.

A magical core, she had magic and her dream has finally come true. She couldn't stop herself and made her stuffed teddy bear that her new parents bought her float. Riley played like that for a few minutes before her new mother, Elizabeth, came to get her for their time gardening.

Now Riley always referenced it as theirs even though she was just sitting in the grass watching her mother garden in their backyard. Her mother was a florist and father, Neil, a lawyer.

The Garden wasn't just any garden, it also had a greenhouse that had flowers that couldn't grow in the current climes they were in, in the United States of America on the west coast near Seattle Washington. Riley loves coming out and looking at her mother's azaleas, though while she was looking for her favorite flowers she noticed that they were gone. Crying started immediately and so did her magic that caused her eyes to glow gold and the earth to shake beneath her feet.

Elizabeth went to her daughter scared that she may be hurt and then realized where she was and went to her daughters favorite flowers that she had moved because she wanted the change to make even more room for more flowers. Instead of worrying about the minor earthquake that was going on and her daughter's icy blue eyes being gold she went to the azaleas to show her little flower that they were still there.

"Look my little flower, they are still here. I just moved them to make some more room for the new type of roses I got in. No need to worry your little heart out. Though I do think you need a change in nickname, my Little Azalea." Elizabeth had said this in the kindest voice she could offer her daughter hoping to calm her down. The story of her family having magic had been passed down in her family from even before they moved to the americas so they had been hoping for a resurgence. It had finally come and Elizabeth couldn't be happier her family always believed those tales that is why they continue to pass them on even to this day.

To make sure her daughter knew that she wouldn't be hated even if she had magic she decided to just out right tell her daughter like she was a grown person that she didn't care.

In doing this she endeared herself in her daughters eyes and this would never go away even when Riley finally forgot of this instance and even forgot her previous family completely and only remembered that she was reincarnated, that she had a loving family and the reason she died.

When Neil came home, he came home to his daughter floating toys and his loving wife not only playing with his daughter but encouraging her.

"What on earth is going on here?" Neil exclaimed. Though when you looked at his face you could tell he wasn't angry, no he looked on with a loving expression because he already knew what was going on. Not only that but his family also had stories of ancestors having magic, so he knew it was a possibility since he was a young boy and knew he wanted to be a father.

"Why I am playing with our little Azalea here, we had a bit of a fright when we couldn't find her favorite flowers." Elizabeth responded even though she already knew that her husband did not truly mean his question.

Neil immediately fell in love with the nickname for their daughter, and even wished they were to have named her that.

"Oh no not the flowers, I hope you found them that would be terrible. I know

that Azalea just loved those flowers." He said jokingly acknowledging that he would use that name for the rest of his life.

"Don't worry my love Azalea and I found the azaleas in a different spot. We also found out a fun new game to play with her magic." Eli made sure that her husband not only knew how the name came to be about and that they would talk in detail later, but that the magic would also be discussed.

You see they had already decided when they were trying for their daughter that they would wait until she could not only have a say but understand the conversations before they had the serious talks around her. That way she would remember them never arguing instead remember them always listening to what she had to say whenever they made big decisions. Though they had know idea how quickly that day would come.

Several years later, they decided to move to England so that Azalea would have more education options. You see Azalea has an eidetic memory and she already knew how to read and write by the time she was 1. She also graduated from high school by the time she was well 2 and decided to go straight to college. Now what college would take a 2 year old well that would be Cambridge, well more like which college did the family decide on but details, details.

By the time her 8th birthday came around she already had 2 doctorates, learning is easy when you have an eidetic memory. Her family and her decided to just focus on herself and her magic after that though they did decide to stay in England just encase she wanted to go back.

Now we are on another birthday on February 14, 1992 and there is a special letter that has just arrived for the birthday girl. Her Hogwarts Letter, this also arrived with a very special guest. Who introduces himself as Professor Severus Snape.
