Chapter 01: A Dungeon Core? [1]
[Welcome, Lust Dungeon Core!]
[Initial Setup: Complete.]
[Current location: Unacceptable for Nexus class dungeon.]
[Teleport to an acceptable location?]
[Y/N]
'Well, duh.'
I sighed in exasperation and selected yes.
A brilliant white flash filled my vision, followed by a sensation of weightlessness, and in an instant, I was somewhere else. I lost consciousness for a moment and when I regained my senses, I found myself in an unfamiliar chamber of sorts, if it could even be called that. It was utterly dark, save for the faint glow of my own self, a crystal that illuminated the walls surrounding me; earthy and solid.
I was not in my body anymore, I could tell that much, I could feel that much, I could see that much.
The world around me was suddenly unrecognizable yet recognizable, it was dark yet I could 'see' , swirling in a dizzying mix of shapes and colors — well beyond what I had previously been capable of comprehending — that made my stomach lurch (at least that's how I 'felt' ; I had no stomach to speak of, so it was just my human side speaking here.)
I tried to move my arms and legs but nothing happened — I realized I no longer had the body I was used to. It felt like I had been liberated from something heavy and oppressive, but instead of elation I just felt an eerie calmness.
I was no longer human.
I was a Dungeon Core , and I could even see my own 'body' . It was nothing but a big crystal, glowing brightly in the center of this chamber. Its hulking mass was taller than my old body, crystalline facets protruding from its sides like a giant prism. Dark violet light undulated within the stone, casting eerie shadows in the cavernous chamber.
Strangely enough, I felt utterly and completely nothing about this change. I felt nothing — no fear, no confusion, just a complete absence of emotion.
It was liberating.
Beneath me, the dirt floor felt different — not like your normal dirt, but something else entirely. My six-foot by six-foot by six-foot prison of a place had walls made of something so strong that most forms of damage wouldn't even touch them. I could feel the weight of some sort of magic trapped within the walls — I had no clue why I knew that — and then I realized that I could feel through the walls. As If they were a part of me, that I was the walls.
I'd taken a long 'look' around, examining everything. To say I was satisfied would be wrong, this was the only choice I had, the only place I was teleported to; I actually had no clue as to what or where this was.
I closed my 'eyes' and focused on the feeling of power emanating from deep inside. It just felt natural, as If it was a part of me, that I had always known how to use it. A moment later a shimmering amethyst aura washed over me as I activated the [Found Dungeon] ability, making this new land officially mine.
[Congratulations on the successful establishment of your Dungeon!]
[You have been granted a Basic Dungeon Starter Pack!]
[You have been granted a Nexus Dungeon Starter Pack!]
[You have been granted a Slave Master Starter Pack!]
[The Dungeon Shop has been unlocked for your use!]
[Basic Dungeon Starter Pack]
The provided pack comprises specimens of frequently encountered herbs, metals, stones/gems, and fabrics, serving a purpose in commencing dungeons by furnishing them as spoils, thereby enticing Dungeon Divers towards their imminent demise. Activate the pack to initiate the fabrication of said objects.
[Nexus Dungeon Starter Pack]
This pack is comprised of a selection of rudimentary magical texts, specifically tailored for fledgling dungeons or novice mages, encompassing all the prevalent magical disciplines. It facilitates the utilization of fundamental spells by the dungeon and its inhabitants. It should be noted that certain creatures demonstrate superior affinity towards particular schools of magic. Additionally, it incorporates introductory manuals for Alchemy, Enchanting, and Engraving, catering to those embarking on their journey in these crafts. Assimilate the pack to initiate progression in these proficiencies
[Slave Master Starter Pack]
ERROR - Nonstandard Profession detected for a Dungeon Core. Reconfiguring...
This comprehensive pack encompasses a collection of essential resources for individuals assuming the role of slave owners. Enclosed are samples of fundamental Slave Collars, Chokers, rudimentary Whips, and Shackles, along with a detailed guidebook outlining the optimal methods for nurturing and maintaining slaves to maximize their utility. Assimilate the pack to initiate the production of the aforementioned items.
I examined the packs and the description of the slave collars, wondering why I would need them instead of just using the [Slave Brand] ability.
[Basic Slave Collar]
This collar is engraved with a basic slave rune, which allows those who do not possess the more potent Slave Brand ability to enslave others. The master must activate the rune with his blood. When placed on a creature with a Slave Brand, this collar absorbs the brand, allowing slaves to be transferred or sold to a new master.
NOTE: As a Dungeon, you may infuse your MP into the collar to activate it, instead of using blood.
Ah, I see now. This made sense now. While the [Slave Brand] is better for me personally, not everyone who desires a slave is a [Slave Master]. They needed some other method to buy and sell slaves. It's amazing how the mind works when it's put to use. It was an intriguing system, to say the least.
After examining everything contained in the packs, I was satisfied with what my starter sets provided. I wouldn't be able to create actual equipment until either I purchased from the [Dungeon Store] or somebody died while wearing equipment inside my dungeon and leather or fur materialized from animals. However, for now, I had enough resources to work with.
Alright, time to spruce up this dungeon! No more boring one-room box with no connection to the surface. Who would be scared of that? I've got to make it more enticing for Dungeon Divers, but not too enticing. I was a new Dungeon, things could get out of hand.
It took me nearly a week to figure things out — time was rather odd as a Dungeon Core.
I was located 20 feet beneath the surface, so the first thing I did was make a big central chamber — which was a cabin on the surface and an underground chamber under the surface.
The cabin was more for me as my own Avatar — yep, I had a human form though it was still quite weird and wasn't quite human. The underground central chamber was for me — as in my main core, me. This was a crucial place since it housed my life.
So I had spent quite a lot of mana reinforcing the walls so they wouldn't be breakable. They were already very strong, but now should be nigh unbreakable due to the amount of mana I had poured.
The cabin was simple. A kitchen, a bathroom, and a door leading outside.
Anywho, I had 2 additional things besides my main chamber — let's name it Core Chamber?
East of the cabin was a murky, dank forest dominated by thick fog, making the air heavy with moisture. An abundance of gnarled trees twisted around one another in tangled knots, towering above, their crooked branches like bony fingers reaching for the sky. A chorus of chirruping insects and rustling in the undergrowth filled the murky air with a strange sense of foreboding.
West was a vast and desolate landscape of snow-covered mountains, hidden in the shadows of a low-hanging fog. The air was cold, dry, and biting; frost settled on every surface as thick curtains of snow blew through the silent valley.
The winds howled at the frozen entrance, a gaping mouth between two snow-covered cliffs. Inside, chilling gusts pushed and pulled down the icy tunnels, swirling fat flakes of snow around.
Two sides were filled with stuff, my little cabin that could serve as a distraction while I was literally buried beneath it, sounded nice. I was safe on two sides since they were in my control, I just needed to decorate them with monsters but I'd yet to.
'The thing is… East and west are fine now, but I haven't done anything about north and south…'
I was exposed to these two sides.
So I would be building something on them too, so that I am surrounded by everything to protect myself. As long as my Dungeon Core is alright, so am I.
I would make underground caves too, surrounding the Core Chamber so that I am safe from anything and everything.
Even if someone were to come inside the chamber, I could just evacuate.
Anywho, as it turns out, I can make stuff inside this place or realm, whatever it is, by using mana. I can also make trees, elevate ground to create hills, or make creatures. LP is used inside the shop and to level up, which I haven't for now.
I'm still a level 1.
Which I intend to change now.
'I have two sides ready, I'd make the others later. Two are more than enough to lure in some people and then finally see what earning LP is all about. From what I've expected, it's either sex or lewd acts, or the like, since I'm a 'lust' dungeon. It could be something else though….'
Anywho, it was time for me to wait for my mana to be completely refilled.
I had not added any creature from my [Second Tree] because they required a big chunk of my mana each, so I would have to wait for now.
I was down to 856 MP right now, and my total MP was 2200. Given that I gained 2 MP per hour, it was fair to say that it was gonna take me 30 days to gain 1,344 more MP, which would equal a total of 2200 MP, my total amount.
I groaned internally, fucking hell. This was too slow. I needed to level up, fast. I was certain that I needed women for that. Hmm, I can't really get some high-level world women though…
So, I needed a relatively small fandom.
I had one in mind, and that was where I would be going.
Actually, how was I supposed to connect myself to other worlds?
The shop was useless without Lust Points(LP), so how am I supposed to do anything?
[Attention: The Dungeon Core possesses an innate ability to initiate a "Gateway" to alternative realms; however, it is imperative to acquire a 'permit' from the Shop in order for the Gateway to remain open indefinitely.]
I looked at my abilities to check if this was true, and sure enough there was an addition to the list and a few changes.
Racial Abilities:
[Dungeon Mind] - [Found Dungeon(Locked when the dungeon is in place)] - [Dungeon Management] - [Spawn Monsters] - [Gateway]
I had used [Dungeon Management] to make East and West, [Spawn Dungeon] should be related to [Second Tree] and the new addition, [Gateway], should be, well, a Gateway.
Reading the details, I knew what it was.
[Gateway]
Cost: 500 MP per Cast
The Gateway is a designated portal that serves as an entry point leading directly into the depths of the dungeon. It functions as a passageway connecting different worlds and dimensions. Once opened, the Gateway provides access to the intricate labyrinth of the dungeon, granting individuals the opportunity to explore its mysterious and treacherous depths. It is a crucial element for Dungeon Divers seeking to delve into the secrets and challenges that lie within the dungeon's confines. However, it should be noted that the Gateway requires a permit obtained from the Shop in order to be opened permanently, ensuring the sustained accessibility and usability of this portal.
Okay…
Reading about the cost of this ability, I was left flabbergasted.
Fucking hell.
I needed to buy permits, surely, otherwise, this would be such a pain in the ass.
To buy I need LP, for LP I need women…
'Hmm, it's time to open it for once I think. I need to.'
I quickly think of a world, which is weak, has fuckable women, and could potentially have useful stuff.
Done with thinking, I smiled — for real, I was sitting inside my cabin on a chair in my [Avatar]; it was no different than having a human body — and activated the ability.
[Opening a Gateway]
[Input world]
AN: Well, the prologue ends here. From on, I will focus on conquering women. Starting with our dear **********(secret, tee-hee)
