Grayson's house. Night. Grayson in his personal office, standing at the window drinking whiskey. He was standing exactly where India's window bedroom was. Sneaking he was watching her through the window.

A heavy footstep approaching. Renfield. With every information Grayson needs from him.

"Pardon me, sir". Renfield said Grayson looked over his shoulder.

"Tell me, Renfield. Who is Kim?"

"She's a reporter for news. Divorce, and very, very ambitious. Her full name is Kimberly Destler".

"And the girl?" ask Grayson.

"India Natalie Greene. Medical student. I believe she was in your history class today. Medical is her priority".

Grayson nodded. Drain his whiskey. "What about the father?"

"Married. Moved to Italy with three children. The girl had never seen her father since eight".

Grayson glanced over his watch, almost midnight. Renfield studied him from his back, remembering how Grayson saved him that night.

Since then he has become a Grayson employee. "If I ask, sir?"

"Hmm.. what is it?"

"Kim try to date".

"What did it have to do with me?".

Renfield sighs. "Just in case. Life must move on".

"I will.. but not for my wife. I will move on and I should take her with me". silent. Grayson spoke back. "If you ask me what I've been eating, my answer is no. I can't kill anymore for her, not around this neighborhood. I don't want her to know what kind I am".

Grayson laid whiskey glass on the table. He turned to Renfield. "If I kill.. we have to move again and I don't want it to happen. I can't be apart from her anymore. I've been searching for over a centuries". he sighs. "What year is it.. 21st?"

"Exactly, sir". Renfield turns his feet but stops. Grayson calls him. "Yes, sir?"

"She's mine".

"Understand, sir". half bow, Renfield resuming walk out from Grayson room.

He watched Renfield leave, then his body turning back to the window. What he saw was darkness. She went to sleep at ten. Somehow he knows her routine, what she eats, what she'll do, what kind of clothes she has inside the closets, what shoes she wears. All he asks from her is to accept him, remember him.

Grayson was staring at her window, and suddenly he began feeling sharp pain on his chest. His heart is beating fast, he actually needs to be fed, he needs blood to survive.

His sight blurring as he takes a deep breath, his hand shaking, cold sweat. He leaned back on the wall, gently sliding down on the floor to enduring his pain.

"I-I need.. blood".

His lips were muttering and shaking. His face pale like death. He needs to be strong again, trying to steady himself but failing. He glanced over the clock and time had already passed midnight.

On this now he had to break his promise not to kill humans for blood to drink. But he needs it so much in his body or else. He needs human blood this instant.

India jolted from her bed when suddenly the dog around the neighborhood barked madly in the middle of the night for no reason. The barking is too loud, something supernatural went past as the dog alerted the scene.

Slowly she slid her hips up from bed then walked towards the window. The dog is still barking. She took a look behind the curtain, and didn't see anything suspicious outside the house, not even the street.

But what makes the dogs barking so loud? Do the dogs see a ghost?

She feels kind of chilling behind her neck. Avoiding the street, she turns to the window of Grayson's house. Empty. There's no one there, just the small light candle she sees around the corner.

Shrugging herself. What bothers to think about her history teacher Mr. Grayson anyway.

Second pass, she shut the curtain then jumped back onto her bed and resumed her sleep.

A dream that brought her to somewhere she could barely imagine.

The next morning. India hurried her feet running downstairs to the kitchen, she took a quick breakfast then ran to the door, slacken unlocking the door, running outside the house.

"You're late!" Olive had been waiting for her about a minute ago. "Morning Ms. Kim".

"Good morning to you, Olive. Be careful alright".

"This is so late Ms. Kim. We are catching a bus". as they run down the street. End of the street there is a bus waiting for the passengers. Olive greeted the driver. "Morning Mr. Josh".

"Morning to you to Olive, India". The driver smiles, and the girl takes a seat three rows behind his back. "Getting late aren't we?"

Olive turned to India, "Someone did". The driver hit the gas, leaving the suburban street house behind. "Have you heard anything last night, the dogs are barking mad".

"I realize that. Everyone does, I think".

"Kinda weird huh". Olive turned on her right, her eyes caught something. An old man reading a newspaper, her eyes caught the title at the front pages read..

LOCAL MAN FOUND DEAD

Garret's. Keen Gallowhall, 37, was found dead last night. The local police discover the body this morning near the construction base. His wife, Benny Gallowhall, 37, later said...

'Keen didn't come home last night, he was alone out there and he usually do his routine. He like jogging at night than morning'. - Keen's Wife.

Local Sheriff David Bourbon later said, 'Someone must attacks him while jogging alone middle of the night. That killing him and forcing to dispose the body'. - Sheriff David Bourbon.

The body then been taken by the coroner for next investigation.

'We will find the killer as soon as possible. For sake of my town don't do anything stupid or trying to be heroes, we do anything to catch the murderer. The killer still out there please be careful'. - Sheriff David Bourbon.

The residents are advised to be more careful after the first attacks.

Olive leaned on the seat as she whispers to India. "Since when did our town receive a serial killer?"

"What?"

"Check out the news on your phone. There murderer happen in our town".

India quickly scroll the news about the murderer on her screen phone, and there the news was. A local man was found dead last night, the body was found this morning.

"We should be careful starting now. There's a killer on the loose".

Grayson house. He was standing right in front of the mirror adjusting his tie, navy blue casual suit color as for today.

Always handsome and full of strength, he smiles. Renfield enters with the newspaper he is holding in. He stood silently.

"Yes. I did it last night". he knew what Renfield had to say to him. Grayson turned to him. "I take it back. I can't keep my promise of not hunting for blood. I couldn't help myself, it hurt so much.. so badly".

Renfield nodded his head. "This man had a wife and children who needed him. The wife is unemployed, children still in school. Where will she get the money to survive without her man".

"What kind of job is he doing to pay all the bills?".

"The same you dumped his body on a construction base, sir".

Grayson's eyes suddenly went red like blood. He made a mistake again, he killed the main source of his family living expenses. He should know that, he shouldn't not to kill.

"Sir?"

"Find out everything you know about his family, help his wife find a job to continue their expenses and the rest.. she'll know what to do".

"Yes, sir". Renfield nodded his head. "But sir?" Grayson eyes on him. "You look charming, not just today.. but everyday". Renfield smiles then walks away. Grayson smirking.

It's past noon. Students are instructed to stay outside the building after lunch. India, Olive and Billy stayed under the tree while the others were groupies everywhere.

She leaned on the tree, Olive asking him. "What the heck is going on here?"

"Once again they reject my ideas about being an actor. I love theater but it didn't work out". exhaling. "They do auctions in college".

"Auction. For what?"

"No idea". They three look around. "Romeo and Juliet. One of our teachers suggested this development. They said it could be the best idea to perform on stage, kinda weird". his eyes searched around, said. "Like a disease".

Olive studied him. "Still not getting enough aren't you, Billy?"

"I am serious. One day you two will think about your future ahead".

Olive smiled. "I just want to live on my own, having my own apartment. Money, job, love, marriage, lovely husband, lots of kids. Isn't it wonderful?"

"Same here. I've never seen him nor ever again. It's time for me and my mom.. you know moving somewhere, a nice place. Like New York, something like that".

Then she caught Grayson with other teachers who walked behind him. Girls become obsessed with him.

Grayson stood as his eyes wandered around until his eyes met hers. She just moved her eyes somewhere.

"That's so weird. I noticed Mr. Grayson is the most charming, handsome man I have ever seen in my entire life". said Olive. "The museum should have carved his figure in wax on purpose, for the sake of tourists".

India heard her sigh, and she spoke back. "Too innocent, sweet man, polite. He's totally into you, India".

"Why me?"

"Shh. He's about to say something".

One of the teachers talks to Grayson then he paces the student in a smile.

"Afternoon. I am Alexander Grayson. I teach history class. I'm standing here because I had thought about the stage to be performed. Guess what? Romeo and Juliet".

They muttered to each other. Grayson spoke back.

"I know this is not high school anymore but I'm trying to have fun. I am looking for talented actors, actresses, singers, extra plays and musicians. If you got one of the talents. please. forward. make believe yourself. There's an audition on the bulletin board. Come and take a look and I'll be there for the cast".

He smiled. The students and teachers applaud out loud.

"He's the one who bragged about this theater". said Olive as she claps, but not India. She isn't interested in clapping Grayson's beautiful speech.

The students start to approach him. Asking him a question about the play, she watched, nothing to be jealous of.

"Grayson is a history teacher, why did he suddenly become a drama teacher".

She was about to ask Billy, but he went away. She saw him talking to Grayson.

"That fast".

India asks Olive to leave the ground. Both girls walked back inside the building.

"This is ridiculous as I am saying. I mean.. Billy gonna love it".

Behind them, there was Grayson standing and smirking. Then suddenly the corridor filled with students chattering and laughing. Someone standing behind him.

"That was extraordinary". He turned his feet.

"Miss Jayne". he said. "Didn't hear you behind me".

"You say that as if it's an accomplishment, Mr Grayson".

"Alexander, please".

She smiled. "You know, there's a touch of the impresario about you, Alexander. I think is a good ideas about having an orchestra in here, the stage, drama. As I'm an ardent patron of the opera, I'll take that as a compliment, although I'm certain it was meant as quite the opposite".

"You kindly like my ideas. Not a chance. Not many students attempt to join the orchestra, they think it is kind of funny to do".

"I certainly do not agree with that statement".

Grayson, smirking, walked closer to her.

"This is the 21st century, Miss Jayne. People now love advanced music more than Opera. Even the stage has plenty of room, space enough to fill people inside it still.. kids this now won't like it".

"Well, may I be the first to invite you to the opening of the season? Tell me, Alexander. Will you join me? I've reserved my own box". she grins. "There's a theater at town hall. I used to go there. I can get a discount for that".

Grayson clicks his tongue. "Pity. I feel you'd enjoy the performance so much more in mine".

"No doubt".

"Hmm". his eyes look around. "Thank you for your support, Miss Jayne".

She nodded. "Mr Grayson". she nodded, walked past him. He then went to the main exit, a door opened then he'd gone.
