Prologue: What if…?
A massive figure stands in middle of the cosmos, his glowing eyes looking out an audience that only he can see. "Welcome, friends, to a new cosmos. One in an infinite and ever growing multi-verse. Where we look at universes that answers the question "What if this happened?" We have done this before but this is a new universe. One with infinite possibilities. Join me as we delve into the greatest of questions and watch it spiral into its own universe. Join me as we ask the question "What if…?
What if Spider-Man never got rid of Venom? What if venom adopted Spider-Man's code? What if the universe that the inhabit change? What would that look like? Let's find out together. And if I time it right I can save him and maybe multiple universes that don't have their own Spider-Man. It might brake my oath but the storm offers loopholes and opportunities.
When the storm was born, it's multi-versal winds swept through the infinite multi-verse. Some remained unaffected while others were changed forever. One of these dimensions has a Spider-Man. And his life is going to hell. He was recently trapped in another dimension, along with millions of people. Including his lover, Mary Jane Watson. He got out but had to leave her behind. He defeated the villain that created that dimension and freed the people. Trouble is, while Spider-Man spent months figure out how to stop said villain, MJ spent 5 years in the other dimension. 5 years where she moved on and started a family with a different man. It broke his heart. And what made it even worse. Doctor Octopus took over his body a few years before he was trapped and ruined every relationship he had because he didn't approve if any of them. Couple that with being rendered homeless and jobless due to being trapped in another dimension for a couple of months. To put it simply, his life sucks right now.
He had created a lair in the sewers of New York City. The only place where people can't see him in this sorry state. And since he left his money MJ, which she spent, he didn't have any money for an apartment. And even if he did, with inflation going on, it means that he wouldn't have enough money pay for an apartment. MJ promised to pay him back but he needs to be alone right now. Alone with his suit. Having it definitely helped. Despite the fact that he has basically been abandoned by everyone else, Venom stood by his side. Through it all. When he first put on the suit, it tried to affect his mind. But his resistance affected it instead. It gained curiosity about its new host, and found a way to explore his memories. When it did it found his guilt, his honor, his code, and his oath. It decided then and there, that Spider-Man was the perfect host and that it would do anything to keep him.
Despite the fact that it had many more violent Host in the past, they were all partially parasitic. But with this one it was determined to not get rejected and achieve true symbiosis. So rather than manipulating him to create more adrenaline by giving into his anger, it gave him a chocolate obsession. There is a chemical found in chocolate that it uses to synthesize its food, just like adrenaline. Ironically, his unofficial occupation provides tons of adrenaline, but it learned that if it uses him while he sleeps it will wear him out. And he needs his sleep to recover from the wear and tear from his job. So it…HE lea4ned to hibernate, in a way. But recently, when his host life went to he'll, he tried to cheer him up. Tried to help him, even while they were both starving. But now? It has been getting a crazy bad feeling. Like something big is going to happen. Then it felt the universe itself ripple and start to collapse. It immediately went to work waking its host.
"PETER!" He woke with a start "what! What's happening." He looked around his mattress in a massive section of the sewers around his lair made of webbing. He calls them "Websites." "Somethings wrong. Terribly, terribly wrong. It feels like the universe is tearing itself apart." He felt the symbiote shiver in fear. "OK. OK. Let's head up top and see what's what." He walked to the edge of the website only to come face to face with some sewer workers. Some currently very shocked sewer workers. "Hi." He said to them. "Hi. Uh…I'm guessing you live here." The guy said. We responded "yep/yep" "gonna head outside for a bit. Need to check on the city." He said and thwipped away. "I'll come back for my stuff later!" He shouted as he used the tunnel connecting to the man hole cover like a slingshot. When he got to the surface a universal shock wave followed by dark, multi-colored clouds flew towards the earth consuming the sky.
"Well, this is bad." "no shit." "let's get to a lab, maybe we can fix this." He said while swinging towards the Baxter building, which was unfortunately on the exact opposite end of the city from where he was. "We even have time for that. Look at that thing, it's moving faster than light." Venom responded. Peter Parker smiled underneath his mask. "Someone's been paying attention, but honestly we won't know until we get to a lab. I might" He was interrupted by a giant hand grabbing him in mid air and bringing him towards the cloud. "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS!" Venom shouted and proceeded to panic inside his head. Meanwhile they looked up and saw a giant person with glowing eyes. His spider-sense going nuts.
"Calm yourself, Spider-Venom. This cannot be stopped, but you can save everything that comes after." The being said then flew into the storm. We screamed as we entered the storm. He threw us and left us at the mercy of the storm. We felt it alter us and copy us. Breaking us down and remaking us. Painfully. Everything went dark. For both of them.
The Watcher watched on as Spider-Venom was remade at the genetic level. Peter Parker had his genetics merged with Spider-Man 2099, while his brain and mind remained unaffected. Venom went through the same process. His genetics merged with Extremis and Anti-Venom. If they work together they will find abilities that they never knew they had and discover new ones. Maybe even the secret to immortality. It appears that he was also copied and now is appearing in several universe that he never existed in to begin with. Unexpected but also expected at the same time. He was never expected to appear in Outworld. He will improve them regardless. Let's see where he ends up.
