Chapter 2 Bonding
Ozpin and Glynda eyes were widen shocked of what they saw, from what they saw they highly aware of how Miss Rose Acts, she's always acting like a nice kind gentle girl but what they just saw, that wasn't Ruby that was something else and from the footage from the beowolf it almost acted exactly the same except this time it was trying to survive.
But what shocked them the most was how Ruby violently tried to choke her own sister which kind of surprise the two people, they know that Ruby always loves her sister and refused to hurt her but, this proves that Ruby isn't in control, whatever it is something is controller Ruby.
Ozpin out of his seat and started walking towards the elevator and Glenda also followed along both of them are heading to the infirmary to check what's going on with Ruby, if this is a grim situation then this is a very serious problem but, if it's not a grim which the two teachers highly doubt it, it could mean something worse.
Team RWBY and team JNPR both walk towards the infirmary still carrying the unconscious ruby, but Yang was the only one carrying Ruby although everyone else was keeping their distance away, worried that Ruby wakes up she could try to attack them again except this time much worse, but Yang isn't worried, she isn't worried that Ruby try to attack her it caught her off guard so she did not activate her aura, if Ruby wakes up then she be prepared.
As they finally arrived to the infirmary they were a bit surprised to see professor Ozpin and Miss GoodWitch with a few doctors, the two teams were questioning why the Headmaster was here but they immediately throw that question away as they both continued on trying to help out Ruby, as they enter in the Infirmary Professor Ozpin ask the two teams what happened still want to hear in their perspective what they say completely shocked him well shocked the people in the room, somehow Ruby became much more stronger and resilient but what shock them even more was the fact is that Yang and Pyrrha both say that Ruby's eyes turned white her pupils were all gone not showing the silver color of her eyes just pure white.
Everyone in the room was taken back of what they said, they haven't seen anything like this and besides all of them know some information about the Grimm, and they all agreed that no Grimm have pale white eyes they mostly have red eyes, this is something else and Ozpin is growing more and more concern.
Yang entered into infirmary and the doctors around immediately Rush towards ruby they checked on her body to see how she's doing, she was unconscious she was doing okay but she was having trouble breathing, and she has a high fever the doctors immediately took her to the room and everyone else was just in the waiting room hoping that Ruby's okay, the person who is more scared is Yang she always took care of her little sister for a long as she can remember, but there are some situation that she cannot handle very well, she will protect her sister from Grimm, bullies or any other person in the world but disease that's something she's more scared than anything.
Blake place her hand on yang shoulder trying to calm her down, Blake was a little bit taken back see yang eyes turning red, but she tried to calm yang down it wasn't easy but with a bit of arguing yang finally calmed down. Ozpin watched the whole conversation he turned his head looking at Glynda both of them still questioning what happened to ruby, ozpin and Glynda both walked away from The two teams, from the right distance for no one can hear them, they both brought out there scrolls looking at the footage.
They still don't know what exactly what happen but if this act is a disease, then they have to quarantine Ruby from everyone else, but team RWBY and team JNPR both been with ruby meaning they could be contaminated, so if this is a disease they have to quarantine the two teams from the entire School.
The doctors looked and checked on ruby trying to see anything wrong with her, her fever was high that scared the doctors but what shocked them the most was her aura. Her Aurora was depleting which immediately got the doctors to work even harder to see what's going on with her this was an emergency, the doctors removed ruby clothes and replaced them with a hospital gown, as the doctors tries to help her some of them began to get worried.
After long and painful 30 minutes the doctors finally got ruby to be in a stable condition this gave every doctor a sigh relief, one the head doctors went to talk to the two teams and told them that ruby is ok, and they're about to began to scan her body to see what going on with her. Everyone was glad that ruby is going to be ok, but yang ask if they can see ruby while they scan her the doctor aloud them to see her but they have to keep there distance from her.
The two teams and the two professors entered in the scanning room looking at a glass window where the scanner is at, the door in that room open where two doctors were pushing a moving bed with ruby on it. Everyone gasp seeing there friend like that and noticed that ruby was stramp restraining her, yang walked forward towards the window still worried of her little sister, ozpin looked at the doctor who was on the computer showing Ruby's vitals. As the scanner slowly beginning to charge, everyone was hoping ruby is going to be ok, nora was holding ren's hand, Pyrrha put her hand on Jaune shoulder, Weiss have her hand on her chest, Blake slowly walked towards yang trying to comfort her, yang was breathing heavily her eye turning red.
As the machine finished charge they bagan the scan and-
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"
Ruby gave a loud blood curdling scream that showed everyone in the room, ruby began to shake violently and tried to escape but her stamps won't let her go, the computer show ruby vitals dropping dangerously low, yang shouted at the doctor to shut the machine down but the machine need to slowly lower the charge down, yang yelled than looked at the window still seeing ruby screaming in pain.
She grits her teeth and charged at the glass window, the window has a massive crack but its not broke, yang screamed and ran towards the window finally braking throw.
She immediately ran towards ruby who finally stop moving, yang pulled her out of the scanner and ripping the stamps off freeing her. Yang gently picked up but yangs heart drop, she didn't feel a heart beat, the she slowly turned her head heard nothing but a long beep. Everyone eyes were widen shock and tearing up, the doctors immediately ran towards the two sisters with them a defibrillator to start ruby heart again, two of them trying to separate yang away from ruby. Yang was emotionless seeing her baby sister died or slowly dying, the doctors immediately grabbed the defibrillator and started aiming at Ruby's chest then the first shock happened Ruby's heart didn't start, then the second time still the same thing they're about to do the third time, the computer picked a heart beat.
Ruby eyes open wide, the doctor looked at ruby then a black tendril punch the doctor across the hitting a wall creating a hole on the wall, everyone turned looking at ruby then ruby attacked the doctors in the room with such speed she was like a blur, she started to destroy everything in the room, everyone was horrified of seeing ruby like this.
Miss GoodWitch have her writing crop ready but she was shaking in fear, everyone was scared, then the lights turned off now everyone was in darkness.
Wiess brought put her scroll out and turning the lights on and her eye were widen everyone was seeing ruby against the wall, her hand was clawing the wall but something was crawling around Ruby's body her left arm was covered with that strange black goo, ruby slowly turned her head looking at everyone revealing half of her face was covered with the black goo, everyone was horrified.
Yang slowly walked towards ruby with tears in her eyes, ruby also slowly walked towards her, the Two Sisters walked and stopped only a couple feet from each other, Yang now has a full view of Ruby's new body, half of Ruby's face is literally covered with that goo and her eye were pure White not even showing the pupils.
"Ruby are you still, you?"
"We are ok."
Yangs eyes widen full knowing that not Ruby's voice, yang began to slowly step back, ruby smile at yang then tendrils began to grow out of her back, then she jump through the ceiling escaping the area, everyone began to chase ruby.
Ruby burst out of the ceiling and ran towards a window, yang saw Ruby and began to catch up to ruby, ruby and yang both jumped out of the building.
Yang finally grabbed ruby, ruby began to attack yang but yang have activated her aura. Yang allowed Ruby to attack her but she is not letting go of her younger sister, as they both fall down Ruby immediately use her tendrils to grab the edge of the wall swinging them both through the Emerald Forest, the Two Sisters immediately fell down breaking and destroying a couple of trees.
Yang immediately got up hurt but her aura took top most of the damage, ruby in the other hand, she have a snapped leg, broken arm. Ruby tried to get up but couldn't yang walked towards her younger sister. Yang turned around see everyone finally arriving, they gasp seeing ruby injuries, Blake and Weiss walked towards ruby standing next to yang.
"Ruby please stop." Said yang
Ruby grits her teeth but slowly calming down the black goo slowly uncovered her face and body showing her normal self, Ruby's eyes came back to normal. Everyone gave a sigh of relief finally seen Ruby coming down and it looks like she's returning back to her old self, except the Twisted leg and the broken arm everything was doing all right, Yang slowly got closer to Ruby squatting down to eye level with her.
The Two Sisters smiled at each other then they hugged each other Ruby immediately started crying apologizing to Yang what she did to her, yang didn't care about that she just glad ruby ok, Blake and Weiss looked at each other they hate to admit but they also hugged ruby. Nora hugged ren happy there friends are ok, ozpin and Glynda are glad that ruby is ok, but Pyrrha and ren immediately noticed ruby hand started raising her hand then the hand was immediately covered with the black goo.
Both ren and Pyrrha shouted at the three girls but it was too late ruby grabbed yang Weiss and Blake by the neck, ruby lifted them up, ruby panicked shouting she's not controlling her body then the black goo returned engulfing her body healing her injuries and her body grow larger and standing.
The black goo covered ruby terrified face whole, everyone was horrified see the black goo cover ruby entire body, what makes things even worse they can hear Ruby muffling, then she stop then the white eye open and a mouth filled with teeth.
"Well this is quite a sight isn't it." Said the black goo monster still choking the three girls, the monster turned looking at others, smiling at them.
"Nice to finally meet you Professor Ozpin, oh miss GoodWitch I hope ruby is doing well in class, and oh, team JNPR."
"How do you know who we are, what are you?!" Said ozpin
The monster chuckled at the question.
"Is it an obvious."
The monster open its face showing ruby face except she not scared she calm, which shock everyone.
"Professor ozpin I know this is a bit concerning, but there's nothing wrong with this, this feeling is actually incredible I never felt anything like this before, i feel powerful like I can do anything I want."
"Miss Rose you cannot be serious think before you speak this isn't what you mean?!" Shouted miss GoodWitch
Everyone was horrified what ruby just said, its like she a company different person, but ruby smiled at them but then she looked at her choking sister, ruby eyes began to tear up finally realizing what she's doing.
Ruby looked at her team then her eyes roll back being cover from the black goo, the monster began to struggle then it throws Blake and Weiss, the monster looked at yang with a angry face.
"I LET YOU LIVE BECAUSE OF YOUR SISTER NOW GET THE HEEL OUT OF MY SIGHT!!!"
The monster throws yang towards the other, everyone looked at each other questioning what happen, the monster roared at them getting there attention, the monster told them if anyone of them follows them he will not hesitate to kill them he already knows all their abilities their secrets and how they fight, he's giving them a warning.
Ozpin asked the monster is ruby ok, the monster replied if ruby dies then he dies. The monster jumped away from the others heading deep in the Emerald Forest, team rwby was about to follow but they were stop by ozpin he didn't want them to get killed, everyone hope ruby is ok.
The monster jumped and ran through the forest until it stopped turning back to ruby, ruby was shocked trying to process where she been through, she died, her leg and arm were broken, and felt powerful.
"Wo wo what just happen?!"
The black goo came around her shoulder form a tendril taking a shape of a head of the monster, ruby was shocked of what she was looking.
"Who or what are you?"
"I am venom and you are ruby Rose."
"How do you know who I am, are you a grimm?"
"I am not a grimm, the reason why I know who you are is because me and you are linked."
"What do you mean linked."
I am a symbiote, from beyond the stars my species need a host to survive and it looks like your The Perfect Host for me, for us to survive we must be linked and because of that, I saw your mind, saw your secrets and your memories, all of it."
"So you're part of me now."
"But if I want to leave your body I could have but you're just too perfect to get rid of."
"So you're an alien and that giant rock was actually an-."
"An asteroid yes, and I'm not the only one, there are more of my species out there but sadly, where we landed we were trying to find any close host, I believe most of them did not survive some of them but most."
"You seem to be not bothered by this do you even care about showing species."
"Well my species is mostly about survival, you're either die or survive that's the laws of nature."
"I mean you're not wrong, but why did you attack the doctors they were trying to help us and plus my heart stopped, I was dead."
"We symbiotes have few weaknesses, the ones that the doctor was giving us those electric shock which very, very deadly to a symbiotes like me, and fire is our main enemy and your sister is making me more paranoid when I first met he, still is today."
"Well you have nothing to fear, Yang is a great sister the best, and you don't need to worry about everyone else, sure you're arrival was a bit terrifying for all of us, but at the exact same time I think they will accept you, like you said me and you are technically a part of each other now."
"Mmm most likely."
Venom shrink finally returning back to Ruby's body, she can still hear Venom speaking in her head, as they ready to return back to Beacon she stopped when she heard some noises, she turned around notice seeing a lot of red eyes surrounding her, and her mind is instantly recognized what they are.
On Instinct Ruby put a hand behind her back forgetting she does not have her weapon she looked around seeing more Grim coming out of their hiding place, she was surrounded with no clear exit she can use her semblance but every Grim is blocking her path.
Ruby was trying her best to make a plan as fast as she can to escape from the Grim until Venom spoke in her head.
"Listen to us, we can help fight."
Ruby was taken back from what venom said but because of this, one Beowulf tried to jump on her, until Ruby's arm became a long tendril grabbing the Grim and instantly snapping the Grimm's neck killing it.
Ruby was shocked by that action, and yet that feeling of being powerful came back, the tendril returned back to her hand, she looked at it and then a small smile came in, she turned around looking at the Grim no longer in fear and Just one thought.
On Instinct the Symbiote in golf Ruby's entire body and Ruby went on a bloody Rampage killing any Grim on her path and she was enjoying it as she slaughtered them she can still hear Venom talking to her.
"Listen here Ruby take notes from a symbiote."
Ruby jumped in the air and slamming her foot on a Grimm's head crushing it instantly, she used her tendrils to grab another Grim and slammed them in the ground until they're nothing but just putty.
"Being a Huntress you're gonna need more than friendly coat."
Ruby grabbed one of the beowulfs and bit its head off and immediately using the decapitated head and slamming it on another's Grim's head until it's another mismatch.
"Wear me i can guarantee killing both Grimm and bad people."
Ruby throw one of the Grimm towards a tree destroying it, and she instantly picked up the broken tree with complete ease and Swinging it, around hitting the rest of the Grim and immediately slamming it back down on one of the down grims.
"We were outcast everyone judge us, but it led me to you found indirectly."
Ruby use her tendrils to wrap around a Beowulf legs ,and immediately spread them out so much until the Grimm was ripped in half.
"And I can tell that you're deadly, and together we can make sure they don't mess with us."
One of the Beowulf try to attack Ruby with its claw until Ruby grabbed it and immediately yanked it off and stabbed the Grim with it's own claws.
"You and I ruby, we can get vengeance, I know you have anger now you need presence."
One giant snake tried to wrap around Ruby until she use her tendrils, to immediately stab at the giant snake ripping the creature to shreds.
"I'm the execution of that carries out the sentence and, you can be my vessel when I wrestle them to bitter end."
Ruby finally killed all the Grim around the area, as she gaze around what she did seeing broken trees, she cannot help it but just smile she looked at her hands and immediately loved the power she felt, she can really give Yang a run for her money come to think of it she can easily beat the best Huntsman and huntresses.
"We are us."
"And you are now we and you, you found me." Said ruby finishing venom sentence.
"You're weak without me but you you're now free to move get rowdy, the truth will now be what we allow please."
Ruby turned around looking at Beacon, still keeping a smiling on her face and she immediately started walking back towards Beacon, filled with excitement full knowing that she will love to test out this power, not on a grim but to an actual full train person, she hope she fights Roman again, better yet she fights a huntsman or Huntress.
