Jamie

"Uh... Never go to bed angry. But if you do, bring handcuffs." I read out loud.

"Jay." I guessed.

"Yes."

Both of us laughed.

Mariana

"Anyways, technically, I did break up with him over the phone."

"And he immediately slept with someone else."

"Yeah. But what if we're meant to be?"

"It's a Wedding. Everyone gets nostalgic at Weddings. Just try not to do something you'll regret later." Sophia told me.

Jamie

"If you don't have each other's back, who will?" I read out loud.

"Brandon." I guessed.

"No."

"Mine." Mariana told me.

"Oh."

I laughed.

Brandon

"What's going on with you and Jamie?" Jesus questioned.

"Nothing."

Callie

Sophia and Jude were playing Air Hockey.

"I got you now."

I was trying to score.

"Oh!"

"Whoo-hoo."

Jude

"Every girl in here is underage." Carter commented.

Sophia hooted.

"I thought you had a girlfriend?"

"We're not, like, exclusive."

I scored again.

"Do you have a boyfriend?"

"Yes."

We kissed.

Jamie

I got a drink.

"Thank you."

"You are welcome."

Brandon joined me.

"Hey. So, I heard back from my friend about the pre-nup. She doesn't think it's fair to Callie. She says she shouldn't sign it. I think maybe, uh... You should tell her yourself."

"You sure you don't want to tell her?"

"Why?"

"Cause I know she was your first love. Is that why you don't want her to marry me? Cause you still have feelings for her."

"Hey, hey, hey! We are crashing your party!" It was Mariana.

"Whoo! Oh, thank God. We are dying of boredom!" Jesus commented.

"Let's all dance."

"Really? Tell me more."

Jay and Mariana were dancing.

Callie

I approached Jamie and Brandon.

He smiled at me.

"How's it going?"

"Good."

Jude

"So, what would it take to get you on the dance floor?" Carter questioned.

"A lot more alcohol."

"Can I buy you a drink?"

"It's all inclusive. But yes."

"Vodka Cranberry." I told Carter.

He walked away.

Callie

"Hey. Did you tell Moms I was taking PrEp?" Jude questioned.

"No."

"Are you sure about that?"

"Yeah. I'm sure about that. Why?"

"Because they asked if I was alright."

"Because it's obvious that you're not. Jude, I'm sorry that I haven't been in your life that much. But this last year of work was really grueling. And we text, like, almost everyday."

"Look. Don't worry about it. Alright? Forget what I said. It's fine."

He walked away.

Jude

Carter handed me my drink.

Callie

"Look. I don't want you to sign the pre-nup." Jamie told me.

"Why?"

"Brandon's friend said it's not fair to you."

"Why would he tell you that?"

"I just hate this whole thing. I'll just go tell my Dad--"

"No, no, no. Don't tell your Dad because he's just gonna think I put you up to it and that I'm after your money or something."

I took a sip of my drink.

"He won't think that."

"And what's the deal with this condo... By the way? What-- What are these HOA fees and what other strings are attached here?"

"I don't think there are any other strings attached."

"Uh... No. When it comes to your parents, there are always strings attached. And not everyone graduates from College and immediately gets a job with an excellent Law firm. Just so you know."

"Of course I do."

"Do you? Do your parents?"

"It doesn't matter what they think."

"No. I think it does matter. Sometimes I think it's the only thing that matters to you. That-- That's why my Moms aren't marrying us and we have this destination Wedding that only half of my family can show up to."

"Okay, Callie. We've both been drinking. Let's not have a stupid fight over nothing."

"Nothing? This is-- This is nothing?"

"Why don't you go back to your room and work on your case?"

"So you can accuse me of not being present?"

I took a swig of my drink.

"Okay."

"That's..."

"Fine."

I stood up.

I cleared my throat.

I walked away.
