Chapter 1:
"Did that guy just appear out of nowhere?" A blue-haired young man asked the air after watching his friend's life being saved by a strange
His teammate, a muscular, golden-haired young man replied "I think so Neptune, it's either that or the paladins' blows gave me a concussion" his monkey tail wagged nervously.
They both watched as the new subject broke the robot into several pieces.
"Velvet" Coco Adel ignored everything to help her friend up "Are you okay?" she asked the girl with faunus rabbit features.
"I'm fine Coco, it was just a bump, my aura protected me" she reassured her friend emphasizing movements in her arms to demonstrate her analysis.
Coco only snorted when he saw her, his eyes quickly turned to the new boy, he was dodging shots from the paladins while destroying others "Interesting, his style is a bit curious" he wasted no time to provide support by shooting from his turret annihilating 2 robots that were at his back, the boy nodded at the help.
"You saw him too huh, his style is similar to some we've seen before, but he also seems mixed with another" their team leader nodded, Velvet also wasted no time defending her friends, she performed an imitation of Coco's gun and between the 2 of them they launched a barrage of shots
Ren and Nora, who had just recovered, began to defend themselves against the robots, as did the rest of the students.
Weiss for her part observed everything without understanding the whole situation, first the school in chaos, followed by an invasion of white fang, then the rebellion of the paladins who were supposed to help them and finally the summoning of a boy she had never seen in her life, she could face the first things, she was sure of it, but the latter affected her more than she thought, her thoughts had to close again when she saw how a paladin on her left was destroyed by the same boy who had summoned her.
"Will you freeze there all day?" he couldn't help but growl at the mocking tone, his response was to raise his rapier and fire bullets that grazed the red-haired boy's head, the boy didn't have to turn around to know that behind him was robotic debris
"And you'll take off that smug smile and answer questions" It wasn't a request.
"First let's get rid of these machines, then we can have a quick chat" his next words were cut off as he watched the paladins and sentinels lose their energy, each hunter was quizzical at that, cautiously they began to gather around the Schnee heiress
"Looks like you can do it now" she just frowned at the lack of response "Ren, Nora, guys, are you okay?"
"Bruised, but fine" Ren replied wearily, even the hyperactive Nora was tired.
"I feel like I have my tail fractured."
Neptune grimaced at that comment "There's so much evil in that sentence it's scary dude" a nervous chuckle escaped Sun's lips.
The blue eyes focused on the golden ones, several emotions collided in that instant.
"WEISS!"
That moment was cut short when the aforementioned was enclosed by a pair of arms of a woman taller than her, with blonde hair and lilac eyes, the strength of the embrace did little to make Weiss return the hug.
"By Oum Weiss, I'm glad you're okay, you're the first one I've met in this hell, tell me nothing bad happened."
"Yang, relax, we are all alive, tired, but still alive, some have broken bones, but we will survive" Yang sighed in relief "Apart, we had help" the lilac eyes followed the direction of the blue ones, focusing on the unknown boy.
"Oh...hey, howdy, thanks for the help, I'm Yang, Yang Xialong" the boy nodded at the greeting "You are?" the question was left hanging in the air.
"It's the same thing I wonder, who are you, what's your name, more importantly how did you appear in my summoning glyph" his voice denoted the demand of his questions.
"Wait, you summoned him, wow Weiss, who saw you, summoning cute boys, makes me imagine the potential of that" that comment made both of them blush, each with their own thoughts.
"Yang concentrate, and you, answer."
The red-haired man watched as they all pointed their attention at him, with a sigh he holstered his gun and watched the eyes of each one, focusing on the lilac and the blue one
"My name is Silver, I am a trained hunter and looking to help the kingdoms, not only against white fang but the group behind them, as for how I appeared in your glyph, that is something I would need time to explain, but believe me when I tell you this, I am an ally."
They all stared at Silver, analyzing his words and behavior.
"You said you'd fight the group behind this, that wasn't White Fang?" Silver denied at Ren's question.
"No, they were just the gun, but not the ones who shot it, I would like to explain more things to them, but time is measured, not only for us but for their friends."
"What do you mean?" asked Nora
"Blake and Pyrrha are in danger" that comment tense those present "I know this is a lot to ask, but I need you to listen to me, all I am looking for is to help you, I know where Blake is, but I need you to let me help her, I need Yang and Weiss to go help Pyrrha and Jaune at the CTT tower, they will meet Ruby half way".
"What about us?" Sun exclaimed.
"You are going to the bay to protect it, you will be safe there too" before several protested he raised his hand "You are tired and wounded, the people we will face are not Grimm, or foot soldiers or robots, we are facing mass murderers with skills superior to you, none are on Adam's level or the mind behind this."
"And Yang or Weiss are?" asked Ren.
"No" was the simple answer he blurted out "But they are the only ones with the aura and energy to do anything.
"So you want us to stand down while you lead our friends to their deaths without really knowing who you are, what if it's a trap?" the words of Neptune slowly made everyone get on guard
"Every second you hesitate is a second you risk your friends, you can't be certain of my words, but as hunters you won't always do that sometimes you will have to use your instincts and make tough decisions, if you don't heed me, your friends will die, it's a fact, so, you can either heed me and open up a chance to save them all or make your decisions and see how this plays out, it won't matter to me, still, I will help, but you will only make this all harder
Seconds of silent agony followed.
"Ren, Coco, take everyone to the bay...Yang, follow me."
Yang's eyes widened at that "Weiss, are you crazy, we can't trust him, we don't know him, Emerald and Mercury were saying the same thing and they betrayed us."
"While Ruby is gone, I'm second in command" Those words shook Yang and everyone else "So let's go save Pyrrha while Silver helps Blake" Xialong bit his lips at the situation, his fists clenched.
"I will save you all, even if I have to give my life, I swear to you."
Silver's words along with his conviction stuck in everyone's head, slowly everyone nodded and advanced to the bay. In the end only Yang and Weiss were left, who started running towards the CCT tower.
"Don't fail us...please" whispered Weiss before increasing speed.
"Never. I already did it once, I won't do it again" Silver replied to the wind seconds before running towards the cafeteria.

Blake knew that her decisions would always bring her consequences, from the moment she disowned her parents for not supporting her decisions to the moment she lowered her defenses to allow herself to have friends, every action in that time frame was crucial in bringing her to this moment, but something deep inside her was always afraid to face it, more specifically the person in front of her.
"I see you're still running away Blake" the aforementioned dodged a thrust from the red edged sword that went straight for her right side.
"Adam, are you out of your mind, look around you, so much death, do you not understand that these actions only demerit the work in faunus equality" Blake lunged at Adam. Both weapons collided, the amber clashed against the eyes behind the mask.
"And you will never understand that they won't see us as equals, no matter what we do that won't happen, what we must do is show them that we are better than them."
"And acting like terrorists will get you there."
"No" Adam showed his strength forcing Blake to take a lower angle, soon Adam's feet slid to kick Blake's causing the girl to lose her balance, Taurus wasted no time and delivered a kick to the feline's side sending her crashing into some flaming dining room tables "We will not act as terrorists, but as conquerors, we will force the humans to serve us"
"And that will make us better?" Blake gritted his teeth as he saw Adam approaching, his options were running out, as was his aura and dust, his eyes narrowed as he scanned the area, he had to plan a way to escape, he knew he could never beat him, not Adam
Suddenly his mind, as well as his body were shaken by the change of environment, his stomach protested at the sudden movement, it took him a second to realize that he was no longer in the same place, his eyes fixed on his old position, only to see a man he did not know clashing swords with Adam.
"You should listen to the kitty, what you are doing will make you no better than the humans who have harmed you" Silver protested as he matched Adam's strength.
"I've had enough of looking to be better than them, maybe the answer is to be equal to them so they will empathize" Adam kicked the boy and propelled himself towards a table.
"Wow, usually many would ask me who I am when breaking up a fight" Silver tracked your movements, this allowed him to dodge Adam's attack while delivering a kick that was covered by the fauno's weapon.
"Asking that question is wasting time, in a battle the important thing is to be victorious, things like those questions can affect judgment" The next attack was thwarted by bullets fired by Blake, with the energy accumulated by his semblance he launched a torrent of energy. Blake used his semblance so that one of his clones was hit by it.
Silver did not miss the opportunity and overcame Adam's guard, managing to deliver a cut on Adam that weakened his aura "Blake" she focused part of her attention on the new subject "Go, I'll take care of Taurus" Belladona wanted to refute the stupidity of wanting to face someone like Adam alone, she knew the strength of her former lover "Don't deny it, you must help your team, they are in danger, they are facing someone more dangerous than Adam".
"What?" doubt appeared in Blake's eyes not so sure she trusted "The person behind Penny's and this whole situation is in the tower, Pyrrha and Ozpin are confronting her, Weiss, Ruby and yang are on their way" Silver's next sentence was cut off when she received a cut on her arm as she dodged the debris thrown at her.
"Don't abandon them" those words sealed the actions of Blake who was ready to leave the dining room towards the tower, suddenly his path was cut by Adam who with speed threw his sword to make a cut, it was at that moment that his vision changed again realizing that he was in a different place, the same scene of a moment ago was repeated seeing how Silver and Adam were facing each other again.
"Run!" Without wasting time he jumped on some tables to escape through one of the dining room windows. Taurus let out a growl as he saw how his prey escaped, driven by his anger he pressed his sword harder to overcome the strength of his adversary, with a burst of aura from his sword both separated use meters, both began to surround each other, the fire was slowly taking dominance, Silver analyzed Adam, he knew he had to be careful with him and his sword driven by his semblance, designing a strategy changed the shape of his weapon, what was once a golden edged sword separated to 2 smaller blades resembling blades.
Adam propelled himself forward, disappearing from sight appearing in front of the human who swung his blades downward. Silver frowned, wasted no breath and raised one of his blades upward to block the incoming sword. The jet jumped a few feet away, Silver began to move around Taurus, using the air to his advantage to attack from above he imposed himself on one of the debris to gain altitude, he immediately thrust his arms down to slash with the blades. A cold aura radiated from the long katana as Adam raised it upwards and met the rival weapons, a shockwave erupted on impact shattering the ground beneath the Faunus. Silver didn't waste and did a somersault using his rival's weapon as a support, the extra weight destabilized Adam preventing him from covering his back when his opponent appeared behind him, he could only grit his teeth at the impact, there were already 2 direct hits that caused a drop in his reserves, taking precautionary measures he decided to attack at long distance shooting waves from his sword with the energy accumulated since the invasion began. Silver began to dodge the attacks which grazed him on several occasions. When both opponents were about to launch an attack they were stopped by a deafening roar that broke the few windows of the dining room that were still intact.
"I thought he was lying" were the words Silver heard Adam mutter, he supposed that seeing a Grimm dragon at the top of the tower was uncommon
"I don't have time to waste, you already took too much" Silver growled, without delay he put his weapons together again to form his original sword and cut one of the pillars of the dining room, this caused the foundations to shake and part of the roof to fall in his direction. This took Adam by surprise as he saw an attack that would only harm his adversary, the surprise increased when his sight changed and his body shook, where Silver was now he was, he could do little to escape from the debris.
Silver, seeing Adam buried, ran in the direction of the tower, or he could waste his time confronting Adam, that's why he decided to incapacitate him for the moment, hopefully he would retreat instead of joining Cinder.

Ruby could only sigh and grit her teeth at the latest events in her head.
"So this guy Silver helped them against the Atlas robots? Ruby asked her friends whom she intercepted on her way.
"Yes," Yang replied.
"And he told them that the person behind all this is in the main tower?
"Yes," the three of them ran past the rubble of the Beacon ruins.
"And he told them that he would help Blake from a faun killer?"
"You're taking this better than I thought you would," Yang questioned as she watched her sister's behavior.
"O believe me, I walk in disbelief, but the situation is surreal, I guess I'm on autopilot most of the time...aparte Weiss trusted him, that's guarantee enough for me" the susodicha bit her lip at that, she knew she had taken a risk in her actions, but if it was true what she said, not only Blake was in danger but also her other friends, her instinct screamed to trust her words, and rarely did her instincts fail, she only prayed it would be the same this time around
The 3 saw a few meters away the tower of Beacon and CTT, they could not help but gasp at the sight of the imposing dragon at the top, it seemed that their sight was focused on something or someone inside
Suddenly Weiss's scroll vibrated "Jaune, where are you?" she asked as she saw who
"Weiss, please you must stop her!"
"What?"
"Pyrrha, he's going after that woman at the top of the tower and he has no chance of beating her."
"Jaune, take it easy, where are you, are you okay?"
"Forget about me, please, you have to save her...please!" Weiss looked at her friends, all 3 of them showing concern.
"We will" without waiting she finished the call, the 3 started to run towards the tower, at the same time she could see how the top of the tower was illuminated and fire was coming out of the windows, followed by the dragon Grimm roaring and moving away from the tower.
When they were a few meters away they watched as the summit exploded, debris fell nearby, Yang had to destroy some that came close to hit them.
"This is bad, the elevator is damaged" Yang clenched his fists as he saw the only way up destroyed."
"We have to hurry, any ideas?"
Weiss surveyed the vicinity, her mind calculating the dust she had left and the aura she still had, (It's the only way) without wasting time she pointed her rapier at the tower and a series of glyphs appeared, her sight focused on Ruby "You can do it".
Rose wasted no time, driven with her semblance she climbed the tower through the glyphs.
-Take my hand, i'm here to protect you, nothing will stop me- -Take my hand, i'm here to protect you, nothing will stop me-
In another life, Yang would have lost her arm, and Ruby would have been too slow, that woman who always boasted of her speed would have arrived a few seconds late at the top of the tower, her eyes would have witnessed something that would scar her psyche for years to come, nightmares and guilt would fill her for years to come.
But a small warning can turn the tide of destiny.
Do you believe in destiny?
Maybe this was always supposed to happen, a flower had to die in order to be reborn stronger in the next seasons.
People get depressed when the most beautiful stars stop shining, but they learn to accept it, they have to continue with that fact and grow with what they have learned from that light... but did that star really go out?
"Arg" Ruby heard Pyrrha's scream followed by that her eyes saw how the amazon fell in pain due to the arrow buried in her ankle, without wasting time she ran towards her friend, this took Cinder by surprise who didn't expect anyone else to intervene, Therefore she could do little to avoid a kick that moved her a few meters, allowing Ruby to hold her friend and run with her, or at least she tried to, if it wasn't for Pyrrha's inability to move both could have escaped easily, but the redhead could not, the arrow had broken her tendons.
Cinder regained her attention at once, her teeth clenched at the sight of the intruder, she angrily launched a flare of fire that would consume the nuisance in front of her. Both students watched as the torrent of flames moved to consume them, Ruby heard an apology from her friend and a suggestion to move on without her. Maybe the flames, or her friend's apology or the adrenaline or the desire to save someone dear to her, she didn't know it well, but something in her body activated, a primal instinct enveloped her body and automatically wrapped her arms around Pyrrha's body, followed by a torrent of roses, the red Ace surrounded the tower, Cinder tried to shoot at the moving object, but the speed overcame her, The red ace moved to the tower's opening and descended through it, with dizzying speed it reached the ground in a matter of moments and continued moving until it reached the white, black and gold trio, when they were inches away the ace disappeared leaving both girls gasping for air on the ground, none of them knew for sure what had happened, they could only breathe heavily and be hugged by their friends who asked them what had happened.
It was at that moment that Ruby's semblance had begun to evolve, something that was to happen long after it had been accelerated by the small changes in fate
