Brandon

I walked pass the pool.

I saw Callie had her feet in the pool.

I walked into the pool area.

I sat next to Callie.

Callie

"So, Jamie knows about us. Our history, I mean." Brandon told me.

"Did you tell him?" He questioned.

"No. How-- How did he find out?"

"I don't know."

He put his feet in the water.

"Maybe Mariana? Eliza?"

"Shit." I commented.

"Why did you tell him that I shouldn't sign the pre-nup? Why didn't you just tell me?"

"I thought it would be better coming from him."

We looked straight ahead.

"He thinks I don't want you to marry him."

I nodded my head.

"Maybe I don't want to. Marry him. I'm just... Suddenly questioning if he... Really is the one."

I looked over at Brandon.

"Why are you having doubts? Because of the pre-nup?"

"I mean, it's everything, you know? I'm just-- I'm suddenly... Questioning if he even really gets me, you know?" I questioned.

"Maybe nobody does." I pointed out.

"I get you."

We smiled at each other.

"You're the only person who's... Ever really taken care of me. Like, when you found me at the concert. How you knew I'd be there. If you hadn't come and brought me home, I don't know what I would have done. I think you're the person I... Trust most in the world."

"Ditto."

We smiled at each other.

"It's late."

"Yeah."
