When will they stop?
Natashi White, a 15 year old girl, with freckles, ginger hair and glasses drowned out the sound of her rotten family arguing over the lack of inheritance from her grandfather.
Her grandfather.
The only person in her life, who saw how her family was treating her and forced them to hand over costurdy to him, letting her be a child and then a teenager before he died.
The old man, even though he was quiet wealthy apparently, spent all his money before he died.
Which wasn't shocking to her, because she was well aware that he knew his children were waiting for him to die so it wasnt surprising that he found a way to screw them out of inheritance.
However, what she was shocked about was recieving a notebook from him as her inheritance.
And from what she saw, it was just a ordinary, solid black, nothing strange looking notebook.
After the terrible day was over, child protective services moved back her into her terrible family house, despite her protests and they never let her forget it.
Now it was even worse then before, because they directed their anger at her grandfather towards her.
Her room was ransacked at least twice a day and if it wasnt illegal to miss school, she would be a full time housemaid.
So she used this to stay far away from the house and just wrote down anything she saw in the notebook.
Just find any excuse to not go home.
And she was well aware, that this world wasnt safe.
Supervillians existed and so did criminals and yet, she would take them over being home any day.
She would rather face death then be reminded of what she had lost and what she would never have.
She continued to live life like this, no matter who she angered until one day, she didnt know what possessed her, she wrote down that she wished she had a club sandwich.
Probably food on the brain.
The letters turned golden and she was about to brush it off, when out of the book came her exact order.
A white club sandwich with lettuce and tomato.
She stared at it.
Then she touched it and felt the white wheat between her fingers.
She picked it up and tasted it.
Flaver.
It was real!
She paused.
Wait, just to make sure...
She wrote she wanted a bottle of water, and again the words glowed and then out it came.
A fresh bottle of water.
She freaked out and then she stopped herself and looked around rapidly, to see that the only person near her was an old man talking his dog for a walk, some distance from her.
He didnt hear her.
She was in the clear.
She looked at the book.
This notebook.
Can grant her wishes.
Was this where her grandfather money went? She couldn't help but wonder.
If this book can actually give her anything, then this had to be something that would be in rich person prized collection or a museum.
It shouldnt be in her hands.
And yet, it was.
So much power in a mere 15 year old girls hands.
Her mind ran away with her, as she imagined herself as the best a superhero.
Knowing all the best celebrities.
The paparazzai following her.
Going to Collage Doupiont Francis and taking pictures with this teenagers.
Dating the IT guy.
Being the most attractive teenager in the world.
The possilities were endless.
Her life could be like the tv shows where everybody was good looking and lived in nice places even though they were classed as poor.
But then she recalled what she had seen from her own family, the lessons her grandfather taught her.
There was a reason why ladybug and Cat Noir havent come clean to the world, about who is behind the mask.
She needed to be smart with this or the world will make her pay.
She knew that if her family found out about this, they would use it to get mega rich and shove her in a basement somewhere.
And who else would be after this?
She needed to be somewhere, where she can have her wishes granted safely without fear of anybody seeing it.
Her biggest strength was staying hidden.
But where can she do it?
She couldnt think of anywhere on land where she can be extremly special and not be on the FBI watch list.
Even though that would be really cool.
Maybe the sea?
She would love to be a mermaid but could she stomach all that seafood and she was pretty sure, there was a huge chance she would run into a diver or a diving robot in a week Max.
What about the sky?
There was drones, aircrafts and flying heroes to worry about.
Space?
It was much better but it wasnt exactly really special since so many people were expecting to find an alien one day.
How about under the Earth?
She paused.
Under the Earth...
People expected bugs and dirt underground, but people living there?
No.
Seeing a functioning society underground that was actually clean and eat properly would shock the world.
And she can go further.
However about the Earths core?
Imagine finding out there were people living in the Earth's core?
And they were all attractive.
It would be bigger then aliens.
Plus, who would look for her there?
She had gone mad.
People would tell her that she was crazy for thinking such a thing, that her going after the core was a suicide mission.
She was literally playing with lava.
But it wasnt like she had much to live for.
Not with her family anyway.
She resolved to do it.
However, she couldn't do it now, she had to prepare.
So with gritted teeth, she went home and found that yet again, her little brothers were 'burrowing' her laptop to play games.
Meaning, she can kiss goodbye to using it for the rest of the day.
And forget her phone, she had to hand it over at 7.
She hated her life.
At least she can now turn her anger to figuring out her new life.
The next day couldn't have come fast enough.
As soon as it did, she went to school and changed her routine.
She went to the schook libary and used her card to search for details, she made it her mission, to find out everything about the world below.
However, despite it looking like school homework, it didnt stop the destruction of it, as not even a week later, she found all her work covered in paint and her parents with a lame excuse why her brothers had no respect for her stuff.
However, this time was different.
This wasnt a assisgment due it, it was something she was doing for herself.
She had actually given herself photographic memory because she knew there was a high chance it would get destroyed and what safer back up plan then to keep it in your head?
So she took the destruction of thr papers, as god telling her that the time to leave was noe.
All the physical evidence was unreadable now.
So she pretended to act the way her family wanted, just to get to her room and not raise suspicion, just to get the notebook.
She was not taking anything but a pencil because everything else was tinted.
Today she was the day she was truly escape from the life she was born in to.
So with a pencil, she wrote in the notebook. 'I wish I, the notebook and my pencil was in the Earths core and there was a shield around us to protect use from the heat'
And then a light came from her notebook and consumed and her stuff disappeared.
Suddenly she hearself surrounded by orange liquid everywhere and discovered that she was not a fighter but one of those people who stand like idiots waiting for horror to come for them.
However, the sheild gave her more then enough time to make her mind and body register, that she was indeed safe and as long as she wasnt stupid, she would remain safe.
So with a body that is still shaking, she really what she had planned.
She wrote 'I wish the barrier protected a pocket dimention.'
The barrier rumbled and she squeaked in worry that it would pop and she would die, but it didnt so she pressed on.
She wrote 'I wish, there was streets and land around me, just like her no nam town 'Tycoo' in Achua Kingdom, but without the buildings and wildlife. But it has its own sky'.
The words glowed and then there was light, the world around her changed.
It became her town but there was no buildings.
In fact, there was a lack of a world.
No smell of grass, pollution or the occasional fast food.
No sound of people chattering, the whizzing of a bicycle or the sound of a car.
It was just empty.
And there was no internet.
With a family like her, she was not giving enough time to be addicted like her age group so she was fine with it.
She wondered around and sat on a bench.
She could feel herself unwinding.
She was honestly okay with the world around her, but then she recalled stories of people going mad at this level of aloneness and she wasnt going to toss a coin to see if she can withstand this for the rest of her life.
So she put wind in there just to give her ears something to do before she wrote down food for her to eat.
This time, she eat food she loved that she knew would never be cooked in her parents house.
If it did, she was sure they would ruin it somehow.
Then after filling, her stomach, she got up and wrote 'I wish to have a old style mansion full of antique funeriture in the Earths Core, with my room having the biggest bed in the world'.
The words glowed and a light came out of the night book, soon she was staring at a house that looked like it was from the old movies.
She pushed thr large front door quietly to go in and the marbel floor alone, was enough for her to check to see if her shoes were dirty.
She felt like the yellow blouse, jeans and slippers she was wearing were highly inappropraite to be walking in with.
And to make sure, this was truly her house and she didnt just break into some millionair house, she yelled out.
"Hello? The door was just open"
No answer.
She took that as all the confirmation she needed to declare this her house.
And nobody but her know about it.
A smile spread on her face, before she went exploring and made a mess.
The only reason the mess wasn't worse was because there was no food and she didn't dare touch the expensive looking stuff.
She saw her room and woahed at how big the bed was as it was surrounded by amazing crafted woodwork and a glossy floor.
There was arch ways that lead to extended spaces!
Is this really my room? She thought, checking the nice double empty carboard.
She then laid on the big bed and screamed in excitement.
This was her new house!
And nobody knew about it!
Not her family, not the law and there was no danger.
There was no battle going on near her.
No criminal she had to worry about lurking in the shadows watching her.
Hell, even Miraculous users werent going to come visit her all of a sudden.
Sure, things might be thrown into the Earth core but she wasn't going to expect Shadow Moth to open a portal to her.
Nobody knew this was here.
Hidding really was her best weapon.
She then sat up and wrote in her notebook that she wished that on a certain street, there was a big libary and began to write down every book, she had glanced at in her school libary, local libary and occasionally book browsing online.
It used up not only several pages but also her time and energy as well.
She was mentally wiped out and put in a day cycle for the sky, because the bright light was hurting her tired eyes.
The sky instantly became nighttime.
Much better. She thought.
She then began to write down, the things she had noticed she needed to get through a day and left to put on identical Pajamas that she purposely chose as super girly, so her brothers would stay away.
She then went to bed.
Her sleep only lasted a few hours until her bladder woke her up and unfortunately, her bladder was more in charge of her brain in that moment.
So she didnt make it in time.
She felt humiliation and shame.
So what did she do?
Learn from it and move on like an adult?
No.
She dumped the soiled clothes in the lava of the Core to get rid of the shame and wished that she didnt need to go toilet at all, so there was no chance of it ever happening again.
And then she showered again and put on new Pajamas and went to bed, never to speak of it again.
She woke up hours later and with a clearer head, navigated the place and had breakfast.
She enjoyed not hearing her family or being pressed to go to school.
She can take things at her own pace.
Then she walked out and went to the libary and saw the books, she wrote and to her surprise, there was actually words in it.
She thought for sure, she would see blank pages in there since she had never read them which proved that the notebook was just as amazing as she thought it was.
She went home with some books and began to enjoy herself while in a nice bathrobe and sitting in a large antique style leather chair with a large book in hand.
However, she got bored.
And hungry.
So she decided to make herself some lunch, and was soon munching on a BLT.
She thought about getting people here.
Wait.
Getting her boyfriend here.
Her fictionation boyfriend.
She opened her notebook and brought up his infomation which shocking enough wasnt supermodel Adrien Agreste.
She found that she was a sucker for a guy in a shirt and tie, who didnt look like they could be her little brother.
Unfortunally, even if her dream guy existed, she was sure prettier girls would be faster then her to hit on him.
She wrote down. 'I wish my Earth Core boyfriend Theo was real'.
The words shone and a light came out of the book before moving to the front of her and then forming into the shape of person.
And they were tall, easily towering over her.
Defiantly a rare height for guys around her age.
When the light calmed down, she saw a super tall guy, with black hair framed over the left side of his face, deep black eyebrows, brown eyed, a lean nose, a winning smile and a prominate jawline.
He was wearing a white shirt with black tie, smart trousers and black and white converse.
The kind of good looks that show up on tv.
Her jaw dropped seeing him, and when she heard his voice, her cheeks burned.
He said. "Hello, Natashi. My name is Theo and I am your boyfriend from now on. May I greet you properly?"
And she said. "Ur, sure?"
And then he took her hand and planted a kiss on it he was a prince from a fairtail.
When that happened, her soul left her body from sheer happiness.
This was her boyfriend?
Grandfather.
THANK YOU!
