Chapter 1: 15 years later.

15 years have happened since that first season. Although for Topher Michaels, it was just 12 years. Ever since he was eliminated from Pahkitew Island. He found out that the big and ridiculous moment he did during his elimination… Benefited him. Sure, it was really dumb from him to do that.

And to make sure he knew that. Chris made sure Topher never had a chance to be on a movie, show, host anything. Being a celebrity was not a thing for him anymore. And it's not like if his season was really liked. Everyone hated Pahkitew island for considering too realistic according to the fandom, they believe that stuff like the Scarlett Fever incident wasn't real. Even though that same fandom also saw how contestants were thrown from planes as well as something that he could describe as a mecha made of racoons.

But Topher knew that all of this was real. He knew what happened. He looked at a picture on his cellphone, it was a picture he kept passing from phone to phone. A selfie with a friend, a black guy. Leonard Thompson, he was the LARPer of that cast and an absolute dork. He even bullied him outside cameras because it was 2011 and making fun of the nerds was a thing… Until he was out and started to know him well.

And all the boredom that he had from waiting to the end of the season made him join to his Dungeon and Dragon games, keeping up with Beardo and Ella… He was the only one that he could keep in touch from the Pahkitew island cast. Because after his humiliating defeat by Chris and how he got a massive payback for his part, making fun of him for years. Topher cut ties with the whole cast outside Leonard.

April 1 of 2023- Back to Canada.

-Yo, Topher!- Leonard gave Topher a bro-fist which he replied.- Back to Canada? How many years you were in Europe?-Leonard asked.

-7… 8 years? I remember going to Europe to work as a photographer… And recording videos… I don't want to talk about it. Also damn man, you got a glow up.-Topher said observing how that scrawny nerd now was a pretty toned guy.

-Thanks, also, why not?

-You know Kitty Wong?

-Oh…. Got it.- Leonard said.- Wait, I thought they usually did solo stu…

-Also a model and a streamer. She knew I graduated as a photographer and that I was good experienced at editing videos.- Topher said.- Not my type tho.- Topher added.- How was everything with you?

-Daddy!- One girl ran to hug Leonard.- Who is this guy?- Topher was surprised when he saw how he girl talked to Leonard, referring him as his father. He really realized, that in the years he wasn't in Canada. Leonard turned a father.

-Lisa. This is my friend from Pahkitew Island. Topher.- Leonard presented.- Topher, this is my daughter Lisa. She is 4 years old.

-Hey Buddy.- Topher showed his fist to the girl, which made the girl pull a stick of wood out of nowhere.

-Silence bad boy! Don't get near of daddy!

-Ohohoho! Hotterhead.- Topher joked. He knows.- Well. I used to be a Snakerin and…

-Stonificus Maxima.- The girl moved her wand, just to point at Topher again.

-Lisa, don't be…- Leonard looked at Topher again, just to see how he was acting like if he was frozen.

-WOAH!- The girl got amazed, running in circles around the "petrified Topher". Daddy, I'm a wiza…

-Boo!

-AH!- The girl jumped backwards scared from the scare, just to hid behind Topher, to stick her tongue to him.

-Rude.- Leonard joked.

-Sorry.-Topher laughed.- So… You and Ella?

-Yes.

-Damn man, you pretty much did what many people didn't, date and get married with your crush.

-Thanks man. I wish you weren't in Europe so you could have gone to the wedding.

-God, I imagine it was beautiful. I saw some of the photos that you took with Amy. Speaking off. I have seen that she was in so many pics of yours. Did you actually date both girls?-The guy elbowed Leonard on his arm.

-Not my type bro. Amy is mostly staying with us because she usually works as a babysitter and… Nobody wanted to hire her on anything.

-Yo, what?

-Long story. I'll tell you later. Do you want to go home now, or see Ella?

-Ella is a good friend, couldn't kill visiting her… And hey. Tell me how did you two became a thing.

-Alright. Let's go. Lisa, we are seeing your mom.- Leonard carried the girl while she was acting as if she was throwing spells to Topher before entering the car.

-Seat belt!- The girl said, before putting it and then acting nice.- Now I'm safe dad!

-That's my kid.- When he said that, Topher, Leonard and Lisa went to Leonard's car. The view from Canada, was kinda nostalgic for Topher.

He left Canada when he graduated since Kitty contacted him to help her with her influencer career. And hell, he didn't know she would skyrocket a lot. Kitty was skilled in all the things regarding Metube and he helped her to do the big videos. But once youtuber started to be more incompetent regarding everything. Kitty dedicated herself to the streams.

She was still a Metuber but, she is more in the just make special videos side of things. Topher often just cuts some of her streams to get them ready to edit them for her channel. KittyPawPaws. Again, his thoughts came back to the real world where he talked with Leonard.

-So… What are you doing now man?-Topher asked.

-I own a library. Ella is a teacher. Amy is usually the one who stays at home since Ella works during the days and I during the afternoon. We are kinda doing ok tho.

-That sounds great. I was a rich guy, so I was in the good side of things. My dad is a famous actor and my mother is a retired police officer, so they are getting paid well, although I had to grow up alone with my cat Chef… Too bad he passed away not too much time ago.

-Why is that Mr. Michaels?- Lisa asked.

-He was too old, it had a good life tho. But it was old when I knew him as a stray cat. So.. Yeah… I had to deal with my stuff, most of it alone. Actually my parents didn't know that I joined a season because my mother was so stressed on a case while my dad was acting for a famous movie.

-I see Topher. Hope things were better- Leonard smiled.- You know. It's good to have you back in Canada.

-Have you been in touch with the rest?

Leonard would take his time to think this answer about it. But then he replied.

-As far as I know… I have been in touch with some of them but I know what happened to all. You know Beardo?

-Fat guy with a beard?-Topher asked.

-That one. He got married and is a parent of twins. They are good kids… However, life hasn't been going well for him. His wife got a disease that she ended fighting with for 6 years… It was in the heart, and eventually after 6 years… Fortunatelly for Beardo, he was part of a big band. The Purple Dragons.

-YO! Beardo was on that band?

-Yeah. He, his brother Ezra, the former singer Moonshine, now known as Luna, her girlfriend Mai and Ezra's boyfriend Narcisso. They were a popular music band.

-Yo… So I know about Amy. I would ask about Samey. But I prefer to go by order of eliminated contestants.- Topher said.- So… What about Rodney?

-He has a good farm, married with a Latina cowgirl called Maria.

-We have seen Rodney once! His sons are cool!- Lisa said.- And their mother is beautiful.-Lisa said.- And she has some pretty sisters. Maybe we can present some!

-How is she able to be that ellocuent?-Topher asked surprised by how Lisa said that.

-She likes to read a lot. She started to read when she was 3, even I was surprised of that.- When Leonard said that, Lisa nodded with her head.- So continuing with the rest. I think it was Sammy?

-Yeah. I know she became famous. But what exactly happened.

-Selfiegram and Clock Clock Influencer. Shawn and Jasmine tried their relationship but it didn't last too much… Sammy and Jasmine though. They had been married for 4 or 5 years, I just don't like to talk about her because Amy is really jealous… or more like frustrated for how things ended up going.

-I like Amy better, Amy is like a big sis I still want daddy!- Lisa told that to her dad, making him laugh.

-She doesn't know?

-Nah, by the way. We arrived.- Leonard stopped the car and with it, Topher left the car while as soon as Leonard opened the door of his car, Lisa jumped at her parents hands.- Come on Lisa, let's see your mother.-Leonard poked his daughter's nose. Topher smiled from the scene, it was a cute scene.

Loneliness….

Unlike his friend, Topher never had a chance to fall in love with anyone. Mostly because he was too busy in college. He wanted to make a name out of himself, trying to not be reminded as the "Chris Wannabe". He was always the best of his class. However, that came in exchange of something.

When Topher graduated from college, during a party of celebration for this achievement, many people brought their couples, while he was alone. He never had good social skills. He was kinda a loner, doing his own stuff on his own. Nobody bothers him and he doesn't bother anyone. And it was ok for him.

That's when he met Kitty, he knew stuff that he did on videos he posted to the internet just as a hobby. But she saw potential and that lead to a beautiful friendship. She was the reason of why he went to Europe.

Topher looked back at the people who would be waiting for him in Canada… Only Leonard. Yeah… Leonard was the only friend he ever did, a true companion for him. But he would do his own life. So Topher would be alone on this new adventure to Europe.

With Kitty, he made many beautiful experiences… as well as awkwards. But he had to get used to it. He and Kitty were a good friend duo during his years in Europe until he had to go back to Canada.

-Topher… It's your mother… Your father… He doesn't have too much time left… Can you please come back to Canada to stay the months that he has have left.- That was a really moment for him. Destiny decided to be cruel with him, giving his parent a disease in the hospital that will kill him while his mother is just staying in there... They cannot leave the hospital and they are using part of the money his father did just to give himself time.

Topher sighed when he listened how the door was knocked, showing Ella, that dork singer girl was now a beautiful woman with pale skin and a black hair tied in a ponytail. He remembers at one point that he helped Leonard to date Ella, putting on the girl who was an uber fan of Chris a good word about Leonard. Now they were kissing.

-Mommy!- The daughter hugged Ella on her legs, which made the mother pick up her daughter.

-My Lisa. How is my favorite kid.

-I'm your only kid.

-And that's why you are the best.- She hugged her daughter to put her on the ground again.- Go to your room, mommy will play with you later.

.Ok Mommy!- Lisa went to her room.

-Now… Topher.- Ella hugged her friend back.- It's good to see you here.

-Sup lo…- Amy wanted to see Leonard, just to then see Topher and honestly, they both got quite shocked from watching each other. This was the first time they saw each other in years. And the change is noticed, specially in Amy, her long hair was now short and stylish, her outfit was not a cheerleader outfit which gave her more points, but more a casual outfit. Sure, she was not a super model looking lady like her sister but she still looked fine.

Topher was still looking like the same, with the only difference is that he had been going to the gym and his clothes were now not just a parody of Chris Mclean and rather more stylish. He was now his own persona. They both looked at each other for a good amount of time, while Leonard and Ella just looked at each other, knowing what is happening and snickering behind them, just to go to the living room.

Topher just smiled, snapping back to reality after watching her for a whole minute.

-It's good to see you after all this time Amy.- He smiled at her, blushing embarrassed.

-Yeah... I am glad you are back.- She blushed too.

After some minutes, they were both on the dining room, it was a pretty well adorned place, where it had many pictures of Leonard and Ella and some of them with Lisa and Amy.

-It's a good thing to see you here after many years Topher.- Ella said.- Wait, is it Topher or should I refer you as Christopher?- Ella asked.

-Topher is fine. And yes, I kinda had to come back to Canada since I have to visit my dad.

-And why is that?- Amy asked.

-He…-He sighed.- I might have to tell him goodbye soon. He has a disease at a pretty advanced stage. He doesn't know what it is because it's definitely not cancer.-He had his mood downed. Amy noticed it.- So I asked my best friend and boss if I could stay here in Canada and she said yes.

-I'm sad to hear that about your dad Topher. But I'm sure they will be ok now that their loved son is here.

-Thanks Ella.- Topher replied.- Anyways. Leonard told me you are a teacher now. What happened to your singing stuff?

-Oh, that? I applied to American Singer, got rejected in international TV, then I saw how in the internet they wanted to make me retake that thing since lost because one of the judges was an uber fan of mine and got mad that I said I was dating Leonard instead of him.- Ella laughed.- I said no, not singing anymore… Or well maybe. Sometimes I do some covers of anime and k-dramas songs to post it on the internet. But making a career out of my singing is done.

-Topher and I were talking about what happened to the other guys in Pahkitew Island. Well, you know what happened to Ella and we know what happened to you. So… Who is next?-Leonard asked.

-Dave, one of the few people I heard some stuff happening, but not good stuff.- When he said that, Ella, Leonard and Amy cringed awkwardly.- What?

-You don't know what happened to him, right?

-Nope.

-Dave basically got turned in a lolcow by force.- Amy said while grabbing some drinks for the rest.- Basically, some haters of him demonized him everywhere, wrote fanfics about him being an abusive person with the fucking dwarf.

-She means Sky. Amy and Sky hated each other after the show. I don't know why but they have a rivalry for years.- Ella commented.

-People in sites demonized him and turned him in a pathetic person, sure, there were some people who tried to defend him, but they were a SMALL minority. The dude got fucked over and now he doesn't even talk to Ella. I still don't know how he escaped from the island. The dude is literally a paranoic person that wants to avoid to be seen at all costs. Heard that Sky's boyfriend wants to find Dave to help him. Keith is a chad.-Amy added more about Dave's case.

-Holy shit that bad?

-Yeah… That bad… To think I could have end up there.- Amy sighed.- Now. Who is the next outside him.

-Scarlett and Max.- The guy said, making Leonard gulp in fear when he heard Scarlett's name.

-Oh… Scarlett.- Leonard said.- You see… Scarlett and I had story. Long story short. I accidentally made her escape from prison because I was visiting a relative. Now because of that, she is now around the streets because she was able to delete her name from any register she had as a wanted person. Or that's what she told me. We frequently visits my library… Although I kinda don't want that. But you just cannot say no to someone who literally tried to blow up a whole island. At this point, Scarlett is basically that friend we have that nobody likes.

-Wow.- That was Topher's response after finding out that interesting fact about Scarlett.- What about Max?

-Oh, he is a teacher in the school I teach, he is Lisa's teacher. And we were classmates during college, I kinda changed how he saw all the good things that happened to him. I think he was one of the most successful contestants.

-Come again?-The guy asked.

-Remember Scarlett Fever?

-Oh yeah, he was the one behind the idea who saved everyone.

-He got the whole fucking city he was in named as Maxville.- Amy laughed.- And every time he tried to show he was evil, he turned out helping more people. And oh god. Ella had told me more stuff about them, and it's just a fucking comedy.- She joked.

-Indeed it was.-Ella laughed a little.- I basically gave him what kids call a "character development" because trust me, I had to pretty much grab him by the neck of his shirt and shout him "MAX, YOU ARE NOT A BAD PERSON, JUST ACCEPT IT!"-She joked about the scenario.

-God, your graduation was one of the funniest days of my life.- Amy joked.- Seriously, you 2 are such a pair of morons.

-Yeah, surprised he hadn't got a girlfriend or a boyfriend.- Leonard said.- You could grind meat on his abs.- When Leonard made that comment, Amy and Topher looked at him weirded.- What? Have you not seen his photos on Selfiegram? The dude is now jacked.-Leonard showed the two guys a photo of Max working out and what Leonard said just made both guys legit said the same thing Leonard said some moments ago.

-Leonard told me about Jas, so…

-Sugar is famous, also bitch legit tries to get anything involving us. She is trying to live at the expense of us.- Ella explained quickly, Topher was surprised that she called her a bitch.- If you ask, she tried to get me and Leonard divorced by making a fake rumour about he cheating on me while I was on vacations... with him. And she lost a tooth after this.-She continued explained in a cutting way.

-Amy?-Leonard asked curious thinking that Amy was the one who took one of Sugar's teeth

-Actually, Ella.-Amy corrected.- You don't know how is she when angry. I saw it, and I was scared.

-Amy, let's avoid talking more about that.- Ella said smiling while although looking at the girl in the most cute yet menacing way possible, making the girl tremble a little, just to pass to Shawn.- About Shawn, he became the owner of a restaurant after his relationship ended. He is doing fine tho.- Ella explained.- But he was the only one that was really affected by Dave's descent to madness. Because he knows that he hates him for not rescuing him and HE KNOWS he didn't want to rescue Dave because he was focused in fixing things with Jasmine.

-Oh, and if you ask about Sky, that dwarf fucking got away with all the shit that she did.- Amy said.- She got back together with Keith, got married, she had a son who is Lisa's best friend, and she got famous all over the world. I hate Sky, there is a long story between us. But basically. I wanted help and first thing she did at me was laughing at me, then she got in serious shit due to an injury she had during some olympic games and I laughed at her for that and then our mutual hate started.

-She is working on that.- Leonard said.

-That bitch deserved it. She believed that hiding she almost cheating on Keith with freaking Dave of all people would make him ignore that.-Amy commented.- But now… Welp, now Pahkitew happened and 12 years had happened between that. And that's a lot of time now that I think about it.- The blonde lady had time to think about it.- Just think for a moment. One day, we are just a bunch of morons in a helicopter thinking this would be a great season. And one day later, we are just all grown up people almost on their 30s with jobs.

-We were all in a phase during Pahkitew.- Leonard joked.- Here we are, the Chris Wannabe, the Disney Princess and the LARPer.

-Wait, wait, wait. I never got told. Why did you stopped doing LARPing?- Topher asked to Leonard.

-I started to dedicate myself to do painting, I liked painting because it is an art and…

-He started to get into Warmace.- Amy cut the conversation.- Pretty cool stuff tho. I liked to paint those things. Also, Leonard is still a nerd.- Amy teased him.- We are sometimes playing Dungeons and Dragons. And trust me my Wizard Knight is carrying the campaign.- Amy laughed because she knows well this one.

-I can't still believe you got away with Antonio Starkova.- Leonard glared at her.

-Yeah… Leonard has been doing fine. I mean, he got a really beautiful wife and a cute daughter.- Amy complimented the couple.- And they were for me in a dark moment of my life.

-I heard something like that.-Topher said.

-Well… I can talk about it with you.-Amy said.- I'm taking him to the backyard. Please don't let Lisa hear.

-Got it.- Leonard said that and as soon that happened, Amy took Topher by the hand to the garden, it was a beautiful garden with a pool. The garden was a beautiful place where they had the space to talk about whatever happened on Amy's life.

-So… I better tell you everything that happened to me myself before someone tries to use what happened to me against me.- She said before sighing.- And I have to admit it. Everything that happened to me after Pahkitew was my fault.-The lady said.

-I'm all ears…

Karma….

Everything that happened since Pahkitew Island for Amy was an absolute hell, she believed nothing bad with happen to her. Forgetting the detail that people will find out how she treated her sister Sammy. Making fun of her, bullying her and being a pain in the ass mentally.

Eventually all the karma for that exploded right on the face as soon as they came back to home. Her parents were shouting at her not only for hours, days, weeks, months even! They were not letting Amy forget that she is a failure, that nobody in her family likes her, that Sammy is the favorite and that was not only the main problem Amy had.

Some months after the season, Sammy felt out confident enough to come out as a lesbian, people made serious rumors of her being a homophobe, which is just not right. And nobody bothered in getting her version of the story. Sammy found out of that too… But instead of helping her sister. She just let her getting that. Suffering 16 years of bullying by the same person made her have no type for empathy for someone like Amy, she didn't enjoy it but she wasn't going to help. Not her problem anymore. If anything for Sammy, Amy asked for it.

When Amy was 17 years old. Her parents after watching how Amy fell in severe depression and noticing how she was just not doing anything, not even eating, failing her tests, she basically gave up and was a living corpse. They kicked her out of her house. Literally by her mother.

-You are not my daughter and you are not allowed to this home!-The mother slammed the door at her face. And this was it… She hit rock bottom. Even Sammy felt disgusted by the act of her parents and as a favor to do to Amy while she was crying in the middle of the rain during a night. She brought her luggage.

-I'm sorry… For everything.- Those were Amy's only words to Sammy, they didn't talk for more than an hour, they just were there observing the raining weather showering both sisters in what could be the only moment where they really bonded and had a genuine treat between sisters. The only moment they ever had to bond and the only talk they had.

-I know… I won't forgive you… And I will never..

-I know… I just wanted to tell you that. After this moment. I will never talk to you again, nor meeting you, I will get away from your life, I won't visit you on your wedding, when you and Jasmine adopt a kid, not even on your funeral.- She said.- I will do my best to get away from your life… So… If there is anything that you want me to tell before I leave your life for good.-She said.-I am all ears.

-Get up.- Sammy got Amy up. She was on her bones, she developed serious nutrition issues she had to deal with, but Sammy won't be her babysitter on that.- It's never too late. I will never forgive you. But those people that you will eventually meet Amy, appreciate them, you messed up now, but you are just 17 years old. And you have a whole life ahead. Our season sucked, people will eventually forget about us, they only care about those in Total Drama Island anyways, so this is your second and last chance Amanda Williams.-Sammy continued just to turn around and say one thing before leaving.- Good luck.

-I was a horrible person… I don't deserve having Ella and Leonard…- She couldn't help but feel how someone was hugging her. It was Topher. It was the first time… In years… Someone felt empathy for her. Someone was siding with her that wasn't Ella or Leonard. She couldn't help. She cried and hard.-And then I saw how successful she was! While I was just treated like shit! I deserve this, all of this! But I also want to be happy!.-She cried. Topher was hugging her, patting her back.

-Well, I think you are cool!- It was a childish voice. Lisa. She heard Amy crying, not because of peeping, but because of she being able to hear everything. Topher let them cry while hugging for a few minutes, Leonard and Ella let her listen so Lisa finally knew how Amy was and how she changed.

-I'm off to see my dad Amy. Do you want to come along with me?-He asked.

-Sure.- She wiped out of the tears of her face.

-Can I come along too?- Lisa asked.

-Lisa.- Topher crouched to be on Lisa's height.- Look, my father… Is in a complicated situation. And I don't think a kid like you should go to see him. But I can tell you something. Your father loves you, enjoy each moment you have with him.- Topher told that to the kid before getting up.- I will pay you a taxi if we go together then.- Topher said before Amy laughed.

-That won't be necessary Toph.- The girl commented.

-Why?

Just for a few seconds later, see how Topher and Amy were on a motorcycle rode by Amy. They were both screaming in excitement although having a control of their emotions for now because they were trying to be calm.

-I didn't know you were a biker!-Topher told that to Amy.

-Trust me! I worked as a mechanic for a time while trying to find a job!- Amy replied before they arrived to the hospital. So… This is the hospital, Stairway to Heaven Hospital… Damn, talk about a red flag.

-Amy…-Topher added, making the girl find out what she just said. Before both of them left the motorcycle and walked to the hospital, Topher was nervous about it, he hadn't seen his parents in 12 years… Well… Mostly during his whole life. His dad was a big actor while his mother was a serious police officer that worked many hours per day just to be sure that the streets were fine. They are both retired. However…

When Topher and Amy entered, the receptionist stopped them.

-Name?-The lady asked.

-Christopher Michaels. We are visiting Marcus Michaels.

-Oh, is this lady your wife?-The question made Amy blush. Wife?

-She is just a friend.- The dirty blonde haired guy said.

-Oh. Well, you can't…- Topher gave the woman 200 bucks.- I guess that friends can come too.- The lady kept the money for herself.

-Thanks.- Topher walked along with Amy to enter to his father's room. The view… Was sad… The man that he admired a lot, now was on his last days. Topher gulped, it was really intense the view for him.

-Glad to see you here son.- Mark, Topher's dad, said.- How is life going champ?-The man smiled.

-Hey dad… It's all…no, it's just not fine.- The guy sat on the floor, near to his father's bed.- I just… Damn… I can't believe this. You… -Topher looked at his dad, he was smiling.- Dad?

-I have no regrets Topher. So don't worry about this. All that I needed is just to see you again son.- His dad said.- Your mom accepted it, she told . I wanted you to come here… Just so I can tell you… Goodbye.

-Mom's not here. And how is she doing?

-She left because she is seeing someone else. We got a divorce the moment I got the illness treated as a terminal disease so she can find love again, I am not letting her not be happy, she is currently seeing someone else.- The father said.- Don't worry about the funeral. I have someone to do the thing for me. I just want you to keep this.- His father passed him something important. A bunch of keys…-The father passed him some keys.- It's the keys from my first mansion, the one you grew up… alone.-Amy was surprised by that comment.- You know Topher. It's my fault you grew up alone, You had nobody than Chef, your cat, and now… It is hard. All your life, you were on your own, having to grow up quickly, trying to do your own name. I could only visit you on some school events… I know me and your mom weren't the best parents… But I want you to know…

April 6 of 2023- Goodbye Dad

Topher was looking at the gravestone of his father... There was a big funeral on the morning, but now that everyone were gone and he was alone watching the gravestone on the evening along with Amy, he looked at the keys. Amy was there with him. She didn't leave his side since the moment they went to the hospital. He hadn't checked the mansion yet. He… He didn't want to. But now he looked a the keys of his dad's mansion.

He just sighed, before Amy walked to be next to him.

-Watching your parent die… Hurts right?-Amy asked, like if she knew the feeling Topher was feeling.

-Yeah.-She hugged him after he said that.

-You are not alone on this.-She said, Topher had a feeling that she went through something like that.- Now… What do you want to do? Will you go back to Europe?-Tough question. Topher had to think it well for a few minutes, but then he replied.
