From the country known as France comes the children's TV show about kids having a vacation in France...during World War 2.
The Long Long Holiday
Meets some of the main characters, like Ernest Bonhoure, your usual nervous 10-year-old boy who's pretty much just Dipper from Gravity Falls, and his sister, Colette Bonhoure, who is pretty much just Mable also from Gravity falls...huh.
Watch as they go from a vacation that was meant to be short to lasting about 6 years. There, they live on their grandparent's farm while their mother is dying from tuberculosis and their father, who's a soldier in the French army, has been captured.
While on vacation, they make some friends like Lily, AKA Seascum, Fernand Gerber, and a boy named Antoine who has a crush on Colette. And after asking Colette out, Antoine-
Holy Shit! He's dead! He actually dead! Antoine is dead! First, he gets rejected then gets blown up! Damn, and I thought things got bad for John Locke from Lost after his girlfriend left him.

Wow...even the nazi commander doesn't seem that evil. He actually kind of seems to regret having to kill all the people in the town. These guys are usually portrayed as the most evilest-

Get ready to watch a cartoon you've probably never heard of and yet It's almost as violent as Star Wars the Clone Wars.

And get ready for some emotional moments, like when you heard that Fernand...when Fernand...when Fernand died. Keep it together, man.
