Darren came home from work a little early, one day. Despite the fact that it was summer, he was shivering.
"Darren, are you all right?" asked Sam.
"I'm f-freezing!" he said.
"But it's 80 degrees outside!" She touched his shoulder. "You ARE cold!"
"M-must get warm!"
He ran upstairs; she followed him. He went into the bathroom that was in their bedroom. He turned the shower on and adjusted the heat. Then he took his shoes off and got in-with his suit on!"
"DARREN!"
He sighed. "Oh, that's so much better!"
"What happened?"
"I don't know! Fifteen minutes ago, I suddenly started feeling cold, for no reason whatsoever."
She sighed. "I think I know what happened!"
"Your mother?"
"Uh huh! MOTHER!"
She appeared. "Hi, darling." Then she looked at Darren and smiled. "Derwood, you look so funny!"
"Not as funny as you'll look when I'm through with you!"
"Darren!" said Sam. "Did you cast a spell on him?"
"Well, I did feel that he was a little hot under the collar," her mother conceded.
"Remove that spell!"
"Oh, all right!"
She waved her arms. "There."
"Ah, that's better," he said. "Now, wait till I get my hands on you!"
"DARREN!" said his wife. This caused him to calm down a little.
"I'd better be going, now," said Endorra.
"Yes, you'd better!" said Darren.
She disappeared.
"Thanks, Sam."
"Anytime, Darren."
"I feel a little silly standing in a shower with all my clothes on!"
She smiled. "Well, maybe this'll make you feel better."
She slipped off her loafers and got into the shower with him. Soon, she was as wet as he was!
He smiled. "Yes, it does make me feel better!"
They hugged and kissed.
