Hello everybody.

Fair warning if you love the sequels this probably won't be for you.

I'm going to be using both old EU/Legends and new Disney canon. Honestly, I've warmed up on using Legends for the old EU stories so unlike others I don't have an issue with the older stories being called that.

This actually takes place in a separate universe from both Legends/Disney as a happier future.

Let's proceed.

On Tatooine

Looking out to see apparently a much older him and Leia who looks unhealthier, before hearing Rey give the last name of Skywalker causing the Jedi to step forward. Yet a mix of blue, and white covers Luke's entire vision before blackness.

Room at Yavin Academy

Gasping Luke sits up awake on a bed glancing around for letting his visions, and senses slowly return. In one of his dark color shirts, and brown pants Luke glances over to see Merrin Kestis sitting at a nearby table as her eyes return to normal from a green glow.

"What did you do?" Luke inquiries slowly sitting up.

"Just a healing spell. I think you got attacked worse as the virus centered on Force users" Merrin replies.

"How much are you able to remember?" Cal Kestis inquiries from a corner of the room, where was causally sleeping.

"Of the visions or the planet in Wild Space? We got attacked, ended up in the ruins, and had to face… Drengir. That explains the visions given their abilities" Luke says.

"Yeah, the Drengir used to be a myth. Some ghost story from the High Republic days. A threat spread from the Nihil marauders, and so great Jedi had a partnership with the Hutts" Cal adds "Like a lot of other things we've encountered is myth having a basis in reality."

"How's Han?" Luke asks in concern.

"I'm fine, kid," Han says.

Glancing over Luke notices Han Solo is sitting up on a hospital bed wearing his typical outfit while placing his blaster inside its holster.

"You know Solo just because you recovered quicker doesn't mean you should be moving" Merrin adds.

"I don't plan on going far witch, just back to the Falcon so I can sleep in my own kriffing bed," Han says gruffly "I've got Chewbacca and Leia's on her way. Couldn't get here sooner from the important meeting."

"How long were you out?" Luke asks.

"Just a day, been held up in here longer," Han says.

"And how long was I unconscious?" Luke inquiries.

"Two days, it's a night cycle now," Merrin says.

"How's my wife?" Luke asks.

"We convinced Jade to go back to your guy's room for rest. Had to threaten for restraining using magick. No reason for effortlessly wasting energy" Merrin says.

"Better if Mara's not affected given the dangers of the Drengir, especially given our lack of any understanding" Luke replies.

"Then why did scavenger over there stay if Red couldn't?" Han asks.

"I'm not linked to Luke by a Force bond, unlike Mara" Cal replies "Only I do have one with Merrin on added protection given my wife's use of magick, smuggler."

"Well, I'm sure connecting through decades of sex with the Nightsister helps," a female voice says.

The occupants look over seeing Mara Jade entering as the automatic doors slides closed behind the Jedi Master. The redhead former assassin turned smuggler, now Jedi, walks past Cal who's lightly blushing at the ears, and a smirking Merrin to stand by her husband.

"Guessing you knew from the force that the kid was up?" Han asks.

"Yep," Mara says.

"Not quite as powerful or reality breaking from my visions, but helpful" Luke adds.

"Your visions?" Mara asks.

"Apparently the twisted versions of Jacen and Jaina, or Ben, and Rey… had a very powerful force bond for physically stepping across the galaxy into where the other was" Luke replies.

"That's impossible. Force users are able to do a lot, even Merrin can teleport but not anywhere near using it like that" Cal says.

"Rules of the Force quit making any logic in my nightmare, especially for a certain user," Luke says.

"Well, it couldn't be as bad as my nightmare," Han says bitterly.

Looking over "What was your nightmare?" Luke asks.

"I'm not sure it's best if you actually bring this up now," Cal says.

"Eh have done worse. I've survived carbonitaion sickness so I should be fine" Han says.

"Well go on Solo, I'm all ears," Mara says.

"Apparently Chewbacca got killed by a falling moon, Anakin ended up dead, Jacen turned to the dark side then was killed by Jaina. You got murdered red by my son; the entire galaxy got invaded by a bunch of things called the Vong something which apparently were Force dead. We had a Republic so badly ran it actually started having the Empire make sense, and got reformed into some Galactic Planet Alliance. Oh, some dumb bug wars for Jaina spent months making clicking sounds, among other weird stuff. Palpatine came back as some weird clone" Han explains.

"Right… and where was I for Palpatine's return?" Mara asks uneasily.

"Not around for some reason" Han replies.

"What else?" Mara asks.

"Uh, the kid and you didn't even date for like ten years until getting married. Some female Jedi from pre-Empire called Callista got trapped inside a computer before being freed to find a body, and started dating Luke" Han says.

"I'm just not even going to bother commenting on that besides the order never had a Jedi named Callista," Cal says.

Exhaling "I'm so glad we had the people in our lives following a year or so after the Thrawn mess to push us together a whole lot sooner," Luke says.

"Yeah, me to farm boy" Mara replies.

"You're welcome for that Jedi" Merrin says.

"Certainly not going to let you both end up split apart like we did" Cal comments.

"We have appreciated it," Mara says.

Frowning "It does sound like the Drengir manipulated time backward and not just present like alternative paths you could have taken. Plus, preying on your worst fears" Cal says.

"You have no idea how accurate that is, Cal" Luke says grimly.

"What exactly did you see kid?" Han inquiries.

Exhaling "Do you really want to know? Because what I saw, what felt real to me was despair. Nothing I ever experienced… got this bad. Hopelessness" Luke says bitterly.

"Yeah… I think if anything you need it kid" Han says reassuringly.

Mara places a hand of support on Luke's shoulder alongside sending him a reassuring feeling in the Force, a gesture Skywalker is thankful for.

"First Rey despite getting tortured by Kylo, nearly killed numerous times, watching people she cared for hurt or murdered somehow ends up forming a romantic interest in Kylo," Luke says.

"Even for my messed-up childhood of kidnapping as a kid and being raised by Palpatine… that's just sick," Mara says in disgust.

"Yeah," Han adds in comparable feelings.

"Also, you only had one child in Kylo who turned to the dark side although named after Ben" Luke says.

"Okay, that's weird. What did we name our child then?" Mara asks.

Remaining quiet Luke glances off as all four look on in concern where after a few minutes of just about to break the eerie quiet, is when the Jedi Master finally speaks.

"We didn't have one because you didn't exist Mara. We never even met, I perhaps even followed some of no attachments from on the order of old. Hard to tell" Luke says.

"Ben was never born? Never even met Vestara or them falling for each other?" Mara asks in uneasy, quiet horror.

"No" Luke replies "I became somebody I didn't recognize."

"How bad did it get?" Han asks anxiously.

"Not great for us. You went back to smuggling and leaving Leia after Ben became Kylo Ren. I became a bitter old hermit who after trying to kill my nephew on getting afraid of Ben turned to the dark side before dying from overexerting myself in the Force doing a galaxy projection" Luke replies miserably.

"What? The Drengir better pray to the Force I never meet any of them 'cause I'm going to through with a vibroblade" Mara says angrily.

Nodding "It's like everything was just poison. Leia and you never got back together, Leia, me, and you Han never talked for years before we all died. The entire Skywalker family bloodline ended, and Kylo after returning good again just died" Luke replies "But that's not even the worst part."

"Great," Han says dryly.

"After whoever Snoke was got killed by Kylo only suddenly Palpatine arrived from nowhere, hiding out in the Unknown Regions, and ultimately won in the end. Not a victory like he wanted, but at least with the entire elimination of our family while Rey, his granddaughter Rey lived on. Actually, took my family's last name, yet I'm not completely convinced that Rey Palpatine deserved it. Rey felt like lived through parts of my life, and the Empire changed into this Fallen Order that lasted for easily thirty more years" Luke says depressingly "Everything we fought and lost… ended up being for nothing. We had no impact."

For the next handful of minutes, everybody quietly absorbs this information as a pointless reality.

"Well… those nightmares are a load of Hutt garbage. That's worse stupid rumors of me not shooting Greedo first" Han says.

"No disagreements there," Merrin says.

"I think the Drengir did the near impossible for creating a future worse than when the Jedi fell," Cal says.

Nodding "On my past being rewritten I somehow gained a cousin named Thrackan Sal-Solo who ended up playing a role in the Second Galactic Civil War with Jacen turning. Plus having some relationship with a Bria Tharen on events going to hell where everybody including Lando thought I betrayed him to join Bria in the Rebels who died when stealing Death Star plans" Han says.

"I know that's false since Kyle Katarn and Jan Ors were behind that. Besides if you were that deeply betrayed by the Rebels, I'm not sure you ever would have started working long-term" Mara says.

"Yeah, I perhaps had my hesitance for the Death Star mission at Yavin given my experiences from war on Mimban. Not any loathing of the Rebels" Han says.

Nodding "I remember discovering about your actions helping an early Rebel unit led by Enfys in getting coaxium. I had to point that out to Leia when she was upset over you leaving for attempting to get rid of Jabba's bounty" Luke replies reflectively.

"Of course, knowing her worshipfulness didn't do much," Han says.

"My sister would never admit but did help soften somewhat" Luke replies.

Looking over "Thank you both for looking helping us," Luke says.

"Just doing being who we are, you would do the same for us," Cal says causally.

"You're welcome" Merrin replies.

"Well, I'm heading back to the Falcon and stretching my legs," Han says standing up.

"Yeah, speaking of in the nightmare you actually lost the Falcon and Rey found it," Luke says.

Exhaling in disgust "No that's it, if I ever see one of those Drengir I'm going to find me a nice trash compactor" Han says grumbling.

The four watch Solo exit the room with Merrin standing up as well and heading over towards her husband, taking Cal's hand.

"Just be sure he gets some down Mara, and we'll go update the academy before heading to bed ourselves," Merrin says.

"Are you sure?" Cal asks.

"Given the use of my healing spells plus entering into a Force healing coma, Luke should be fine. Besides I have the feeling they'll be getting about the same kind of rest we are" Merrin says.

"You mean… well that's a highly improper use of the medical area," Cal says.

Leaning over Merrin kisses Cal on the lips who returns it until they separate after a moment.

"And we've been so innocent ourselves in that area? Medical room or the Mantis?" Merrin replies smirking.

"True," Cal says.

The Jedi and Nightsister exit the room while Luke with Mara glances at each other, heatedly.

Rising to his feet Luke quickly sheds his top clothes as Mara pulls the zipper down on her dark-colored body suit, and unlatches her belt letting it drop. Removing his pants with boots Luke in appreciation watches as Mara fully pushes down the suit down, alongside removing her footwear, before rising back up. The Jedi eyes his wife's now fully nude physically fit yet very attractive body as Mara licking her lips eyes her husband's equally naked body.

"Did you make sure the door is locked?" Mara asks.

"Already did while undressing" Luke replies.

"Hmm that is a very improper use of the Force Jedi Master," Mara says smirking.

"Well, I guess you'll just have to convince me I'm wrong," Luke says.

"Usually that's my line farm boy," Mara says running her hands over his chest "Still I suppose I should punish you for being out of bed this earlier while you're supposed to be recovering."

"We'll have to follow the doctor's orders," Luke says.

"Yes, we do" Mara replies grinning.

Leaning in Luke and Mara begin kissing once more while running their hands all over each other's body electing groans. Wrapping her legs around Skywalker's hips as Luke cupping his wife's backside gently pushes her back onto the bed, and stops kissing to gaze at her.

"A problem farm boy?" Mara asks.

"No… just wanted to say how much I love you" Luke replies.

"Love you too, and I am glad you're out of that coma," Mara says.

"So am I," Luke says.

"Nothing more Commander" Mara replies.

"Good because talking is the last thing I have for planning," Luke says.

Leaning over Luke starts kissing his way down onto Mara's chest who gasps while clutching her husband's head.

Hope you all enjoyed this and leave a review letting me know what you think.

I'm not even going to begin covering the Disney sequels, instead, let me address why I decided to call out the old Legends canon.

Put simply some of the stuff got rather ridiculous, and depressing where we needed a refreshed canon to work from. Honestly, I hate that Chewbacca's death was the start of Anakin Solo getting killed off, with not just having Jacen go evil but killing off Mara Jade too.

The entire happy ending that our heroes were supposed to get was stamped out due to various writers including George Lucas.

Only Disney stories paled to Legends canon. Like using the depressing ending of Rouge One for spreading across the entire Star Wars universe.

Honestly, I'm so liking how by the end of Jedi Survivor game and to avoid any major spoilers Cal/Merrin get together with having a happy ending.

Really if they never make a third game, I can live with that meaning their ending is untouched.

Jedi Survivor, like the Solo film, is one of the few pieces of good entertainment to come out recently.

I never had any interest in Clone Wars, Rebels, or The Mandalorian mini-universe within SW canon.

Another note if they couldn't bring Mara Jade back in the new canon, which I'm fine with, I dread to think how much they would screw her over, the least they could do is give Luke a different female love interest who could be his equal partner.

Of course, given how Lucasfilm CEO of Kathleen Kennedy hates Luke Skywalker which is obvious from just looking at the sequels has gone on record saying they cut scenes of Luke from Bobba Fett show because they want to move away from Luke.

Mind you the Bobba Fett show was crap, and I could tell that from clips of how much they had him remove his helmet. Ridiculous.

Rather sad how the Mythbusters crew testing myths from Star Wars has more respect compared to Disney, of course being actual fans is probably why.

Until next time.
