Reincarnation was not something she took into account when she thought about what came after death. She believed that you'd either go to hell or heaven, not being reborn into an era far different from her own.

Evolutionary transformation of humanity, in the form of supernatural abilities called, 'quirks'. These so called, 'quirks' are what makes today's society. It is overrun by heroes and villains. And where the government still remain control over your body anatomy.

The society is very flawed. Corrupt government remained at the top as they idly watched the society they built, crumble into pieces. The heroes were another means of soldiers to use and discard after their use are complete.

They are merely weapons to use and control those who have the ability to cause turbulence within Japan. A notable example being the number two hero, Endeavor. His quirk can lead to an easy mass destruction, he could easily kill and be in the direct top if it weren't for the 'hero-system'. Instead of being all-powerful, his focus is on the hero-system, aiming to best the number one hero: All Might.

The government's use to exploit this, is very cunning. Preventing a complete dictatorship of those with a higher ability. Nonetheless, it was only a matter of time until the society they built comes crumbling down before them.

The symbol of peace, the number one hero of all of Japan—of the whole entire world, All Might. Someone to rekindle hope into everyone, that there is someone incredibly powerful, protecting them. He is worshipped as a god amongst his kin. In a way, he is also given a heavy burden to carry as he singled-handedly holds society on his back.

Ever since the rise of All Might, the said hero became the ideal person everyone wanted to be: from little children who recently gained their quirk's to even adult's whose dream job was to become a hero.

He brought momentary balance, however, as much as people had loved him: there are those that despised his being to the very core.

If the symbol of peace fell, the short peace they have attained, will fall.

Ochaco Uraraka knew that it was true. In fact, the girl knew many thing's that she should not have known.

She knew about the maltreatment and abuse in the Todoroki household, Endeavor's family, the top second pro-hero in Japan; she knew about All Might's incredibly fatal injury he had sustained when he fought the notorious villain, All for One; she knew of his successor, a once timid quirkless boy who held a heart of gold, whose fate interlinked with her own.

Uraraka knew many, many thing's she shouldn't have known, unless she had a quirk that allowed foresight, similarly to the underground hero and ex-sidekick of All Might, Sir Nighteye.

She knew about the fall of All Might. The rise of the villain's, how the leader of a certain villain group will tilt over the world in it's axis, have seen how society had been challenged by those "Villain's", how her supposed 'lover' was interlinked and placed into the epicentre of the war between heroes and villains.

She knew, because she had seen it all been played out before. She had read about them, as character's to a fictional comic book. Ochaco had grown to love them in her old life, in a sense where she believed she understood the pain, the hurt, the accomplishments that each characters had made in the dystopia-like, superhuman world.

She wasn't supposed to be here. Or at least, she wasn't supposed to remember.

Ochaco Uraraka was the female lead in the manga and anime adaption, My Hero Academia. The love interest of the main character, and she was someone who held a significant role in the plot.

The moment she realised about her situation, the girl humoured the thought of falling through a different career path that did not involve heroes, given her former-self, the other Ochaco Uraraka, had befallen to a dangerous life when she pursued heroics.

Then she pondered deeply. Anxiety trickling into veins, as she thought deeply about her situation. No matter how hard she had wished, it was all inevitable that she'd befall the same path as her other self. The young girl desperately hoped it was not true, but when had anything went her way? Never, it never had.

Ochaco Uraraka, is too important, too significant of a charecter in My Hero Academia that it was simply impossible for her to avoid her fate. If her absence created a chain-reaction where everything went for the worst?

That if she did not become a hero, a much more tragic fate will be bound to happen?

Ochaco wasn't bad, but she wasn't particularly good either. The young girl felt a deep sense of belonging if she were to continue her path on becoming a hero. Meeting with other charecter's in one of her favourite animes was a very tempting thought for her.

The moment she realised that she had been reincarnated into My hero Academia: the brunette had spent months on end debating whether she should intervene with the plot or stay completely out of the way of what will happen. The dreadful question of whether she should become a hero or not?

Then it was settled.

Ochaco Uraraka will become a hero, not just for the sake of duty, but to honour her other self on choosing to become a hero for her family.

(Maybe, just possibly with the added benefit of being able to gain back rights of her human anatomy—in other words, freely be able to use her quirk legally.)

Her parent's knew she was different.

The foreboding feeling scratching at the back of their heads on their daughter's odd behaviour. Ochaco Uraraka never acted as a child; she was closed-off, withdrawn, sharp intellect hidden behind big-doe eyes knowing all too much, the sudden thirst for knowledge that all children shouldn't be able to question.

She never acted as a child.

She never acted as a baby.

Ochaco Uraraka was different from her peers the moment she was born, despite babies commotions of crying—a typical normal reaction for babies— the youngest Uraraka had never once cried.

Inside of her wooden baby-crib, she would just stare. Idly watching everything around her as she was stuck in the defenseless, fragile body of a new born baby.

There was the inkling feeling of how the baby did not belong here. It wasn't until later on, until she finally pieced together, why she felt that way.

The moment she was two months old, her parent's panicked and immediately sent her to the doctor's to check her psyche. Why was our baby like this? Why was she so different from every other child? How come she doesn't cry? Is something wrong with her?

It was quite difficult to check up on a two month old baby. Hard to diagnose, nonetheless, the doctor managed as swiftly as possible to ease down the nerves of fretting parents.

"There is nothing wrong with her."

The doctor stared at the couple, their baby within the mother's grasp. He glanced back down onto the file he had conducted about the young baby.

"That can't be true! Why does she... Why does she react so differently, doctor?"

The man, the father of the baby looked at the doctor with blatant distrust. If there was nothing wrong with her, why is it she doesn't react as a normal child would do? He looked towards his spouse to see that, she too was also agreeing with his convictions.

The doctor sat opposite from them, sighing deeply. "I've made it clear before, that there is simply nothing wrong with your child: all that there is to say, is her ability to comprehend much more easier than the average child. In other word's, you may have a prodigal daughter—however, because of this, your daughter may show early signs of quirk awakening."

And in a very blunt voice from the doctor, "Congratulations."

He looked at both parents', tired out of his mind from re-explaining. Rubbing the bridge between his nose, he asked the Uraraka couple a simple question, "If you may, can you both please tell me what your quirk's are?"

The woman nodded, and started to list off what her quirk could do, "My quirk allows me to fly, and my husband's quirk increases the weight of objects."

The doctor looked at the father in confirmation, to which he nodded at the doctor. "Alright, I believe your daughter may awaken her a bit more earlier than expected, beware of signs that may lead to the manifestation of either of your quirk's or mutation of both."

"Thank you, Doctor."

He nodded at the couple.

Ochaco watched the interaction with a heavy glint underneath her round eye's.

The first clue should've been blaringly obvious; Ochaco lamented at the fact that she did not pay attention towards her name. Ochaco Uraraka. The toddler knew it wasn't her name, yet it was so familiar.

It was the first clue, but she did not understand it.

The second clue was quirks. She had seen her mother use her quirk before, typically to reach for something on the highest shelf, which she, herself could not reach because of her short stature. And apparently her father had a 'quirk' that could increase the weight of objects with a touch of his hand.

She remembered her first time witnessing such a super-power being displayed; Ochaco couldn't believe her eye's and begged her parent's to explain how it was possible. Her all too sharp and cunning eye's, brimming for the first of knowledge as she watched her parent's show a demonstration of their meta-abilities.

Impossible, a voice whispering at the back of her mind, but she brushed it off for the child-like wonder easing it's way inside of her.

(The signs were all there.)

The third clue was heroes, more or less specifically, All Might. The number one hero in the entire world. Superheroes were a possibility. It wasn't fictional, it was all too true. The first time she saw one, was during the news she watched with her parent's.

'Breaking News; The Symbol of Peace, has once again defeated the—'

Ochaco turned away. Everything clicked. The recently turned three-year old stormed off to her small room; her eye's drilling holes to her own head as she stared at her reflection in the mirror.

It was her, but it wasn't her—

Screwing her eye's shut, an image flashed through her mind: a much more older version of herself—sixteen to be precise—enrolled in a hero school, UA; the place that caused so much disaster.

The place where the story is told.

She felt her heart drop, her stomach clenching and rolling in on itself as it realised everything. She was Ochaco Uraraka, but she was also someone else, someone who had watched how her life would turn out in the future: watched her as a fictional charecter in an anime called My Hero Academia, where she is a love interest for the main protagonist and the female lead.

No.

No.

No.

She opened her eye's once more, big chestnut brown eye's, revealing itself as denial took it's place: tears sliding down her small, round cheeks. It can't be.

"'Chaco-chan?"

The three year old held in her breath in hopes of calming down her nerves. It didn't work. Because not long after, the room door opened to reveal a very concerned woman.

"'Chaco-chan—oh, sweetie, why were you crying?"

Her mother soon embraced her body, and Ochaco found herself snuggling into her comfort. It felt home, it felt safe just like how a mother's embrace should always be. And it was her mum.

She's Ochaco.

She didn't reply to her, her form shaking as more sobs racked through her body. Ochaco tried to contain her sniffling, but it wouldn't stop, because as soon as one slipped, the others followed and she couldn't control it.

"It's okay if you don't want to say anything. Was it because of that villain you saw on the TV?"

No, it wasn't. But it was an excuse to her behaviour. And it wasn't as if her mother was far from the truth, ironically, in fact she was close.

Ochaco nodded. Her mother was silent for a moment, she could understand the shock through her mother: her child that was always too calm and collected for a kid, had never once cried. Not when she trip herself over, nor when she wanted something; Ochaco was always so placid that it was concerning.

For her daughter to be rattled up like this...

In a way, it eased her mind, her daughter wasn't emotionless. Her daughter had cried, the first time in her life and her mother couldn't help but feel happy.

She whispered sweet nothings into her daughter's ear, "Don't worry, the bad guy's gone, All Might defeated him."

Ochaco soon fell asleep shortly after.
