The season 5 finale ends a little differently: The portal opens but Buffy isn't the one to give her life to close it. The slayer becomes critically injured and is forced to see how much she truly trusts and needs Spike. While the slayer heals, Spike helps the gang contend with the demons from the portal and about town, including a certain musical nuisance at just the 'wrong' time.

I am terrible at writing summaries. This is essentially a TGIQ rewrite that explores the true nature of Buffy's relationship with The Immortal and Why she wants it to remain a secret from Angel. This story is the first chapter of what will probably be a long running series.

Buffy has just said goodbye to Spike, but he can't get her confessions out of his mind. Recommended if you like angst with your devotion.

Buffy and Spike have been reunited and are now navigating their relationship and teaching new Slayers all while confronting new adventures head-on and hand-in-hand. Please read "Bound" first. Rated for sexual content.
