Kidnapped by Pythor, Kai was laying in his cell for six months before he could tell Jay he was three months pregnant with their child.
Kai was laying in bed in the room he was locked in. It was a dark room without windows, a canopy bed and a mirror that he could look at his beautiful self in. Smooth hands were stroking a very round belly. Delivering the baby wasn't going to be easy. Carrying the baby wasn't too bad. Kai actually loved carrying his baby and was very pregnant.
Kai was feeling contractions and laid in bed. "Shh, it's okay," he soothed as he continued stroking his belly. "Your mother is here to protect you my darling."
General Cryptor came to stare at Kai. "Please don't stare at me," said Kai. "I have orders ninja," said Cryptor. Kai got angry. "Once I leave this place I.. oh no," Kai felt sharp pain from another contraction. His water finally broke and he was losing blood.
Kai put a palm on his belly breathing heavily. "She's coming?" he asked. He felt more pain and lost more blood. Pythor walked in smirking at the soon to be mother.
"don't look at me like that," Kai said as he continued pushing. "You just gave me an idea," said Pythor. "What idea?" asked Kai. He screamed more. He was sweating like crazy and losing more blood. "Your child will bring back the Overlord and Ninjago will be ours," said Pythor. He laughed maniacally.
Kai later heard the sound of a crying baby. He held his daughter in his arms. She had brown hair like his and blue eyes like Jay's. Kai pulled the baby to his chest with tears running down his eyes. "My darling," he said before he kissed her forehead. Cryptor snatched the baby from Kai's arms. Kai was so sad.
"no, please don't take her away. I love her," said Kai. The two walked away. "No! No! No! Katara! Katara!" he screamed as he burst into tears. "My daughter! Bring me back... my daughter..."
There were three black hooded boys going to Cryptor and Pythor. They were actually Cole, Zane, and Lloyd. They got into a fight with the two and Lloyd stabbed Cryptor but Pythor was able to escape.
"where do you think Kai is?" Lloyd asked. "Maybe he's in that room over there," said Zane. "Did your eyes notice that or something?" asked Cole as he picked up the newborn baby girl. "Yes," said Zane. Lloyd noticed something about Katara. "Why does she have Jay's eyes?" he asked. "It said that Jay is her father," said Zane.
they unlocked the door in Kai's room. "What are you guys doing here?" Kai asked. "We came to save you," said Lloyd. Cole was holding Katara. "Thank you," Kai said softly. "Before we go, let me ask that you sleep," said Zane. He put a cloth over Kai's face setting him to sleep. Lloyd carefully picked up the sleeping beauty taking him from the lair.
Kai woke up in the hospital wearing a hospital gown with Katara sleeping in his arms. "Kai?" he heard a familiar voice. "Are you okay?" That voice was Jay. He came and hugged Kai. "Oh my gosh she has my eyes," said Jay. He came to sit next to Kai and looked at their sleeping baby. "Isn't she pretty?" Kai asked. "You're just saying that because she looks like you," Jay said with a smirk. "That's not true," said Kai. "She has your eyes." Kai kissed his daughter's forehead.
