I don't the Kung Fu Panda franchise

Metallic talons walked upon the pavement of the land where Shen had been banished to. It had been years since he last had last stepped in Gongmen City and today was going to be the day that he was going to take back the city that was rightfully his. Years of hatred lingered in his heart at the thought of the prophecy that was awaiting to be fulfilled and the thought of his parents banishing him. At least, in this secluded town, he had his army of wolves and gorillas that had been training day by day to keep their strength. He had kept a watchful eye on all of them, deeming who was worthy to remain and who was worthy to face the daggers that he hid within the sleeves of his robe. Oh what a wonderful surprise it was going to be when he stepped back into Gongmen City. He wouldn't be surprised if many thought that he was dead. He was impatient to see what their reactions were going to be when he arrived.

As of right now, he watched as his army of wolves and gorillas got themselves ready to head to Gongmen City. Word had spread a long time ago about the death of his parents. He had remained stoic about that news. Half of his mind felt sympathy but the other apathetic half took over him once more. He felt that they didn't deserve his sympathy just like their didn't deserve him. "Get the cannons ready, Wolf Boss," he said as he looked at the wolf that beheld a patch over his injured eye, "all of it."

Upon his Lord's wish, Wolf Boss gave him a nod of his head and proceeded to coordinate with the other wolves. There was no need to supervise what they were doing. This was going to be the last time that Shen was going to be part of his banished land and he knew that he was never going to see it again. As he turned around to head back into the building, he stopped short when he noticed a cherry blossom tree standing before him.

The tree had been in bloom for nearly two weeks and the moment that Shen had laid eyes on it, he had been amazed by the beauty that it possessed. Just like fireworks had their beauty, they were also weapons destruction. But a flower? How could something so dainty and beautiful be dangerous? This tree was symbolic of nature and the rebirth of spring. Its pink flowers delicately moved with the gentle breeze that blew towards them. Shen watched with fascination as these flowers were able to withhold something as threatening as the wind. A light amount of pollen scattered towards the ground and the aroma wafted towards Shen's nose. It wasn't overly fragrant like any flower but the subtle aroma that it had put his mind at ease.

Nature allowed anyone to be part of something beautiful. Just as beautiful as nature was, it was also powerful enough to destroy and restart everything from the beginning. That's what Shen connected with himself. He knew that he had fulfilled his prophecy in eliminating the Warrior of Black and White. He had seen beauty in the village before he unleashed his wolf army, not giving any of those pandas a chance to escape nor fight. Just like nature, he had turned something beautiful into destruction.

What about this cherry blossom tree? Would it turn into something hideous? The wind picked up speed but those cherry blossoms seemed to endure it. It seemed as if nature was trying to tell him something. To stop this madness of his? There was no need for it. He was traveling to take back what was rightfully his. Nothing stood in his way. Before he walked away to join the wolves and the gorillas, he stopped when he noticed one cherry blossom flower being plucked from the branch and gentle falling at the palm of his hand. The pink color and the shape of the petals made it look so small and innocent but even that could grow into something sinful. He looked up and noticed that many of the flowers began to fall from the tree until the tree wore no more flowers. It looked awfully thin and haggard without those flowers. There. The beauty of it was gone and it had landed right beneath his talons. He looked down at the pink flower that was staring back at him.

Small. Innocent.

And yet it would grow into something...

Major. Sinful.

He clamped his feathers together and crushed the small flower within his grip. He opened his feathers and tipped them towards the ground as he watched the flower delicately join the others. Nothing was small and innocent anymore. As years passed, those things that were once pure were lost and would never go back to its original state. He folded his feathers within his robes and gave the tree one last look. In a couple of months, that thing would be blooming again with more flowers, and he hoped that he would have another chance to see it once he had China under his control.

"Let us proceed!" he called towards his army of wolves and gorillas, "to Gongmen City!"

The End.
