Will's P.O.V
/ this is how I think mythomagic would be played /
I was up late at night reading a book about healing properties when my boyfriend Nico started whimpering in his sleep. I knew he was having a Tartarus dream so I got up ready to comfort him or whatever he needed. I looked at the clock it read 12:30 Wow after midnight I'll read a couple more chapters in case Nico wakes up.
Around a half hour later I hear crying from our bed "No don't take me I don't want to go" a voice or rather Nico cried. I got up and went to the sink and got some water for him. Then I walked over to our bed and set the glass of water on the table. "Hey lover boy, wake up I'm here wake up" I started rubbing his back softly as I felt him stir a little more under me.
"W-W-Will?" He asked me not fully awake yet. "Yes, it's me drink some water, " I told him as I handed him the glass. I walked over to the table to set up a game of mythomagic a game Nico has played since he was a child. I looked at the Hades piece the one his sister sacrificed her life for. "You want to use Hades?" I asked Nico knowing his answer.
"Yes, but we are playing now? It's past midnight" I grabbed his usual pieces, Hades and Cerberus, and put them on his side of the board as I grabbed mine Apollo and the Manticore. I set the other ones around the board for us to collect as the game went on. Nico saw that I was ready and rolled the dice "Ha five" he said and moved to five spaces to the left. I rolled mine and got a six which means I pass Nico. "Ha loser. Attack on Cerberus with the Manticore" I said and I moved my pieces knocking the Manticore out of the game
"Dumb move Sunshine" He said as we laughed at my stupid move. We played until the last player was standing which was Nico with Hades. I looked at the clock 4:30 "we should go to sleep now" I said and moved towards our bed and letting Nico lay on me like a pillow "Sweet dreams"
That really sucked
