I and Will were going to Walmart to get a few groceries. I checked the time. 10:50. "Sunshine Walmart closes at 11," I told him
"We will be in and out it will be fine" I wasn't convinced but I went with it anyway. We got in the store and a guy came over the intercom and said "Attention shoppers We close in 3 minutes" Fuck. We ran through the store but we couldn't find the aisle of what we came in there for. After a few seconds of looking the lights shut off.
"William Solace we are locked in Walmart because of you" I yelled as I turned my phone flashlight on to find him in the aisle.
When I found him I heard someone coming so I ran to the nearest aisle, the toy aisle. I shut my flashlight off and felt my way to the deli, which took me 10 minutes. I hid under the counter and watched as an employee walked by. I thought about asking him if he could let us out of the store but we are not allowed to be there.
After he was gone I ran to where I last saw Will and he was there still. "How about I call you and we can try not to get caught because I almost did," I said out of breath.
"Ok loverboy but don't get in trouble"
"I'm trying not to. Now put your phone on silent so I can call you." Will gave me a thumbs up so I called him and ran back to the toy aisle for shit. Once I was there I grabbed a barbie doll and a pogo stick for self-defense if I needed it. I then ran toward the self-checkout hiding behind boxes when an employee got near. Once I was there I started talking to Will after I made sure I was safe
"Will where are you"
"The pharmacy"
"I'll be right over"
I checked the time. It was 12:30 Walmart opens at 6. "5 and a half more hours of running around at 1 we should meet up and make a fort of some kind to sleep ok?" I asked him. I heard a muffled yes as a ran to the pharmacy to meet him
Fast forward a few hours
I finished building me and Will's toilet paper fort just as Will was coming with blankets and pillows as we went to sleep. I was glad to get out of here in the morning
