Hey everyone I'm back again with the first chapter. I hope you guys like the epilogue of the story, I know there are many grammatical errors in the previous chapter, so I just want to clarify something. English is not my first language and I don't have any beta readers to inform me if I miss any before I upload it. Anyways enough with me and please enjoy the chapter.
Chapter: 1
Blond Meet Blond!
"Who are you and what are you doing at my training spot." The blond girl asked him. Naruto was still in a state of shock doesn't do anything, he just stood there dumbfounded by the other blond.
"Hey! I'm talking to you stranger-kun." She said to the boy. That was enough to get the boy down on earth.
"Stranger-kun?" he asked in bewilderment. His mind was going faster than his father's technique 'Flying Thunder Gods', thinking about what to do in this kind of situation (even though it should have been impossible to be in this kind of situation).
"Yes, you are a stranger, stranger-kun. So what are you doing in my training spot?" She asked again, now with a little irritation coming from the blond girl. Naruto sight, releasing the breath that he didn't know he was holding.
"I have a name y'know." He said with a deadpan expression. The girl just shook her head and continued to talk.
"I'm the one who asking here! Who are you and what were you doing here?" she asked again the third time. Naruto reluctantly answers her but not giving any important stuff to her.
"My Name is Naruto, I was actually on my way to Hokage tower, but I'm a little lost, so I stay here for a while to rest." He said to the girl carefully don't want to reveal more information to her.
She narrowed her eyes at him. "Really, where were you from then?" She asked him, suspicion in her tone.
At her question, Naruto sweated a little, searching for an excuse. He couldn't tell her that he was from another world that is similar to hers, she would think of him as a madman. So he just lied to her for now.
"I'm from the minor village outside Konoha. I came here to be a Shinobi for this village, I just arrived this morning." He lied to her.
"Ouh… ok then." She replied quickly her emotion changed. "My name is Uzumaki Naruko, nice to meet you Naruto-kun, and I'm gonna be the first female Hokage in this village 'ttebane'." She quickly put her hand in his mouth, her face started to redden, embarrassed from her verbal tic.
Naruto's eyes widen at her verbal tic. He just stared at the embarrassed girl whose face turned the color of a tomato. He then started laughing, and the said girl glared at him
"What are you laughing at!" she yelled at him. Naruto just laughed harder at her antics.
"Ahh… sorry, sorry, I thought I'm the only one with verbal tic 'ttebayo'." He told her while grinning from ear to ear. She stared at him with wide eyes. She then grinned herself.
"Hah! So I'm not the only one, take that world!" She yelled at the sky. Then she continued. "Alright then Naruto-kun I'll help you get to the Hokage tower, just leave it to me, I know every nook and cranny in this village!" She declared with gusto.
Naruto smiled at her. "Okay then, lead the way." He told her with a smile on his face. She looked at Naruto's face and blushed a little as she thought, 'He kinda cute with that smile' She then recomposed herself, grabbed his hand, and ran toward the village. "Alright then come on!" She said with glee about making a new possible friend.
They made their way to Hokage Tower. As they walked through the market district, Naruto realized that the glare the village gave to his companion was a little bit harsher than he usually gets back then. 'Did she go through harsher childhood than me?' He thought to himself as they made a beeline toward the tower.
Aside from the glare from the villagers, the village itself was so similar to his when he was this age, it was so uncanny that he almost thought he just got sent back in time and not another world entirely. He took the scene of the bustling village with a melancholic look on his face. Naruko noticed this and asked him.
"Are you ok Naruto-kun? You looked sad." She said with a worried expression on her face. He shook his head before answering the question. "No, I'm okay just, remember my village that's all." He told the girl. She didn't want to make him sad, so she just shut her mouth. When they arrive at the tower, the secretary looked at both of them. When she realized the demon child, she glared at her.
"Hokage-sama is busy and wouldn't want any interruption from anyone. So you better get out of here." She spat at them. Naruto glared at the secretary and was about to yell at her when Naruko pulled his hand and went straight to Hokage's office. The secretary tried to stop them but failed. Naruto and Naruko barged into the Hokage's office, where the aged face of Sandaime Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, greeted them. Naruko then lunged at the old Kage and hug him.
"Jiji!" She yelled with such happiness meeting with her surrogate grandfather. Hiruzen just laughed at her antics as he brought her on his lap and sited her slowly. "Ah… Naruko-chan, what do I owe you pleasure?" He said slowly not noticing another guest seeing the scene with a warm smile on his face.
"Ne, jiji I want you to meet my new friend!" she said with so much enthusiasm. She turned her head to Naruto "Naruto-kun meet, The Sandaime Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen-jiji. Jiji this is Naruto-kun, my new friend!" Hiruzen turned to look at his second guest. When he laid his eyes on Naruto, his breath stopped, and his eyes widen from the shock.
"M-Minato" he breathed. After composing himself, he glared dagger at the second blond as he demanded. "Who are you and where you are from?" He demands sternly, long lost the grandfatherly voice he spoke with Naruko earlier. Naruko just watched the scene unfold in front of her in confusion.
"Minato? Jiji what are you talking about?" Hiruzen looked at her surrogate granddaughter. "Naruko-chan, will you please wait outside for a second? Your friend and I need to talk for a while." Naruko looked hesitant, turning her head back and forth between the two. Hiruzen then reassured her. "Don't worry Naruko-chan, I just want to talk whit him for a while. I wouldn't do anything to him."
Naruto who was silent the entire time, sweating a little he's glad to see his surrogate grandfather doing well and alive but, he know this is not the same Hiruzen he knew. Naruko still hesitated to leave her friend.
"You can go Naruko-chan, don't worry about me," he said slowly with a smile on his face. Naruko reluctantly nod and walked out of the office. After she was out of the office, Hiruzen continued.
"Now then, who are you and where do you come from" Hiruzen repeated his question with a softer voice but still stern as he release a bit of killer intent. Naruto doesn't budge by the killing intent but still respects the amount of it leaking from the old kage. Naruto gestured to the hidden Anbu guard in the room. Hiruzen, taken aback by the boy's action, 'How did he know about the hidden Anbu' he thought. Hiruzen raised his hand dismissing the Anbu in his office and then went through several hand seals and place the protective and silence barrier around the office.
"Alright, we are alone, now speak." He commanded him. Naruto bow at the Hokage and started, "Hokage-sama, my name is Uzumaki Naruto and I came from another world." He had gone through several scenarios in his head when heading to the tower, he picked telling the truth would be the best action. Even though he thought that he didn't want to lie to the said Hokage.
Hiruzen hearing this, widen his eye in shock at his name and where he was from. He quickly recomposed himself and looked Naruto in the eyes, searching for deceit but found none. "You wouldn't think I would believe your claim do you? Because if you do I need to put you in a mental hospital." He said sarcastically.
"Of course not Hokage-sama, but you will believe me when you see my memories." He said in all seriousness he could be. Hiruzen was skeptical about this situation but looking at the cerulean ocean of his eyes, he could see his late successor in it.
"Alright then, I'll call Inoichi in here so he could check on your memory." He stated, but Naruto raised his hand before he could do it.
"We didn't need his assistance Hokage-sama, and if I could, I would like to keep this from anyone else except you." He said professionally. The Hokage quirked an eyebrow at his request.
"Owh, then how would you let me see your memory without his assistance?" He asked Naruto, curious by the boy's sudden suggestion. Naruto just smiled at the old Hokage and start weaving through some hand seals.
"Uzumaki fūin-jutsu: Kioku hyōron-ka"(Uzumaki Sealing Art: Memory Reviewer) He exclaims, then touches the Hokage on the forehead. Hiruzen was stunt at the sight of the jutsu that he didn't even react to Naruto came close to him and touch his forehead. At the touch, the world around Hiruzen start to morph and he was now standing in the sewer-like passage in front of Naruto.
"Welcome to my mindscape" he exclaims as Hiruzen looks around. A gust of hot wind hit the back of the Hokage when he started to walk inside Naruto's mindscape. He then turned around to see what were the cause. He took a step back, his eye widen more than he could his breath stopped at the sight before him. In front of him was Kyubi no Kitsune, just lying on the shallow water, sleeping to its heart's content.
"N… no it's impossible…" he stated between breathed. He just looked at the beast, out of its cage, taking a few steps back scared that he might wake the beast. At the sight, Naruto couldn't contain his rising laughter. He broke laughing at the looked on the Hokage's face. Hearing the laugh, Hiruzen turn to the boy and could see the similarity between him and Naruko.
Hiruzen then slumped to the floor, his garb drenched by the shallow water. He sighed and look at the boy who tried his best to stop laughing. He shook his head at the antic and raised his body getting up to stand. He coughed to get the boy's attention.
"I think without your memory, I will still believe you if the beast is in here with us. Still from another world, I can't imagine what kind of Jutsu can do that. I know a little space-time jutsu, but to transport a person to another dimension is sheer impossible." He stated bewildered by the situation.
"I know right, I can't imagine either, but here I am in another world!" he said to the old kage with joy in his tone. "But I didn't come here with jutsu." He told The Third with a sad face and tone in his voice "I shouldn't have come here at all honestly… because I died in my world, I should have met with Shinigami, but Kami-sama came and ask me for my assistance. She is the one who sends me here." He told the Hokage.
Hiruzen was shocked beyond belief, he couldn't utter a single word to describe his thought. He looked at Naruto assessing the situation, 'If he told the truth, then something big is coming.' he thought to himself. Before he can start, Naruto beat him to it.
"I was told that something would befall this world, the great calamity will come, the same calamity that came to my world. I was asked to stop it before it rages this world as my own." He told the old kage. Hiruzen just stared at him face blank and neutral as he contemplated his word.
"Will you show me this calamity that rages upon your world? If it is the same, I would like to see what it is." He asked him. Naruto nods at his request and warned him before he showed it. "This is something you wouldn't like." He stated matter of fact to the Hokage. Horuzen just nod and waited.
Naruto then showed his memory of the Fourth Great Ninja War that bestow upon his world. He showed Hiruzen how he was held with the eight-tailed Jinchuriki, how he broke out from the island, how he help in the war, how he fight Obito and Madara Uchiha, how the Ten-Tailed revived, how he fight the ten-tailed Jinchuriki, how he fights sage of sixth path Madara, the revival of 'Usagi no Megami'(The Rabbit Goddess) Kaguya Ototsuki, how he defeated and sealed her and the final battle with Sasuke Uchiha before he died. He tried to show his memory of his meeting with Kami-sama but couldn't do it. He thought maybe Kami-sama doesn't want anyone to know how she looked.
At the sheer amount of information that Hiruzen got from the blond, he almost got a migraine. He recollect himself and thought back at Naruto's memory, something that make him wonder. "You look a little older in your memory," he said to Naruto and he just nod.
"I was sixth-teen when it started and seventh-teen when it is over," He told Hiruzen. "So it last almost a year?" Hiruzen asked him. "No more like three to four months. I turn seventh-teen in the war" he told him.
"Ok, but why are you younger? Shouldn't you be much older?" he asked intrigued by Naruto's predicament. "I don't know, maybe because of the law of physic about space and time and all," Naruto answered him honestly. Hiruzen was amused at his answer, knowing a little more about the concept of space and time.
"Alright then, I trust you." He told the blond. "And I would think you know about your parentage too if you and her are the same person." Naruto just nods and smiles at the Hokage. He looked at the old kage's face and a logging feeling raised in his heart.
"I miss you jiji… I miss you so much." He said to Hiruzen. The old kage just looked at him, a sad smile cling to his face. "I see, so I was long gone before the war start." He stated. "How did I die?" he asked the blond. Naruto hesitate for a second before he told him.
"You died… by the hand of… Orochimaru." Hiruzen just frowns at his answer. He would be killed by his most prize student soon. Now that he knew, he wouldn't let it happen. Naruto looked at his surrogate grandfather's face and frowned. He then lunged at him and hugged him, logging for his affection.
Hiruzen just smiled at him as he cares his head looking at his whiskers marked. He thought about how would, Naruko handle his death, and leaving her alone again made him sad. He shook his head as he broke from the blond clutch.
"It's alright Naruto-kun, I'm still here." He said slowly. "I know, I just miss you so much jiji," Naruto said while sobbing. Hiruzen ruffled his hair and smile at the blond. "It's ok Naruto-kun, I understand. Shall we go back we wouldn't want to worry Naruko right?" he said while watching the beast as it was in deep slumber. "Say Naruto-kun, is it okay to let it out of its cage, I know that you and it fought together in the war, but is it wise?" he asked the blond. Naruto just smile at the sleeping beast.
"It is ok jiji, we are friends now. I trust him with my life!" He declared to the old kage. Hiruzen was skeptical but let it be for now. They then turn back to the real world, looking around for a while to see if anybody broke in. Naruto then started.
"So, what should we tell Naruko?" he asked Hiruzen if he had an idea. "Don't worry about that, I have a solution, but when the times felt right you can tell her the truth." He said as turn off the seal and the Anbu get in their position again. He then called Naruko to get in. As the blond girl came into the office, Hiruzen wrote something on a paper.
"So, what do you guys talk about?" Naruko asked both of them. Hiruzen looked at her smiling brightly, "Ahh… Naruko-chan let me introduce you properly to him. This boy is Naruto Uzumaki, he is your cousin." Both of the blonds widen their eyes, Naruko's heart stops for a second at the bombshell, 'I have a relative?' she thought to herself. Naruto on the other hand was thinking 'That is your solution jiji!' Naruko looked at her companion as she thought 'We did have the same hair color and birthmark.'
"R… Really, jiji?" she asked her breath was heavy, her eyes started to leak tears and her voice was trembling. "I… Is he?" Hiruzen just smile and gave her a slip of paper, it was an identity paper (somehow Naruto's photo was on it, but we don't talk about that). She read the content, his full name, his supposed village from, his age, and his request to go to the ninja academy.
She looked at Naruto and lunge at him. "I… I thought I don't have any family…" she said between sobbing. Naruto just hold her tight as he caressed her hair. "It's ok, I'm here, I thought the same too." He told her with an affectionate voice as she held him tighter. "I had a family... I had a family!" She said, sobbing in his chest. Naruto just caressed her hair with his hand listening to her sweet voice.
"Yes Naruko-chan we are family, I'm here now so stop crying ok?" he said with a soothing voice, begging her to stop crying. She nods her head.
"You don't know how much this meant to me." She said as she gripped his jacket harder. "I've been alone for so long, please, don't let this be a dream." Her voice broke with every word coming out of her mouth. Her eyes were red, swelling with tears. Happy and relief was the only thing on her mind, meeting her cousin was the greatest thing that could happen in her miserable life.
Naruto holds her tighter, hearing her word crushing him. The abuse she endures must be greater than him to make a such sweet girl crumble in his hand. He then promised himself, he would not let anything happen to her as long as he was with her. He caressed her hair affectionately calming her down, his body heat warming her body as they stayed embraced each other.
"Don't worry Naruko-chan this is not a dream, I'm here. I'll never leave you alone again ever, that is a promise of a lifetime." Naruto said with a soothing voice making her loosen her hold a little. They stayed like that for a while and forgot that another occupant was in the room.
Hiruzen really don't want to disturb the moment, but they stayed like that long enough it make him feel awkward. He coughed to grab the two blonds' attention. Remembering that they were not alone, they broke from the hug, their face was red and Naruto looked sheepish putting his hand behind his head.
"Sorry jiji, we were caught in the moment and forget that we were still in the office," Naruto said with a tinge of embarrassment in his voice. Hiruzen just chuckled at the blond's antics and shook his head.
"It's ok Naruto-kun, Naruko-chan, I know how you feel. I too will be happy to meet my family and forget what I was doing," he said to them. "But enough of that, I want to talk about you attending the academy Naruto-kun." Hearing this Naruto's eyes widen, 'What! academy I thought the genin exam already passed!'
"Wait a second jiji, when the genin exam will take place?" he asked the Hokage. Said Hokage amused at the looked on Naruto's face. He really doesn't want to go to the academy again.
Naruko was beaming at the prospect that Naruto will go to the academy with her, and then something dawned on her. "Wait jiji, will he be in the first year of the academy, or he just starts with us as the last-year student?" she asked the Hokage.
"What! No, please jiji I don't want to start over, please just let me stay with Naruko-chan's class," he begged Hiruzen. The old man just laughed at Naruto and shook his head in amusement.
"Don't worry Naruto-kun, before you get assigned to class, we need to test your knowledge of shinobi art. You need to go to the academy tomorrow for your test, I will inform the teachers there to examine your capability in our line of work," he said smiling at the blond boy. He grab some paper and wrote something on it and gave it to Naruto. It was a recommendation from the Hokage for him to enter the academy.
Naruko looked at the paper in her blond companion and beam brightly at the prospect that they would be in the same class. "So if he passes the test, he will come to our class right jiji?" she asked expectantly. Hiruzen chuckled as he answer, "It depends on his result." Naruto was just glad that he doesn't need to repeat his academy from the first year.
"As for the final exam, it will take place next week," Hiruzen told both of them. "For your place to stay Naruto-kun, I have several apartments that can be rented," he said to Naruto.
Naruko perks up at that, "Ouh, oh, he can stay at my apartment, it's not like I live with anyone." She told the Hokage. "Is it ok, I don't want to be a bother," Naruto tried to recline. She grabbed his hand and looked deep into his cerulean eyes with her big violet puppy's eyes as she said, "It's ok Nii-chan, please?" Naruto was taken aback by her cuteness and that puppy's eyes were also his weakness. His face reddens as he looked away and nods.
Naruko smile at this and hugs him as she bounced, "Yay, you will love my place, it's not big but at least two people can live there." Hiruzen seeing her bouncing around happily, smile as he called both of them.
"Naruto-kun, I expect you to be well-behaved when you live together." Naruto nods seriously as he grabs all the papers that Hiruzen gave him. "I don't want you doing something inappropriate to her when you live alone together, I have the ball you know." He said while smirking.
Both blonds flush bright red at the implication. "Damn it you Ero-jiji, we were still young!" Naruto barked at the said old pervert. "Yeah what he said, tho I kinda don't mind," She said as she eyed Naruto and her face grew brighter at the thought.
Naruto and Hiruzen were stunned, wide eyes at her word as they rang through their ears. In the case of Hiruzen, he was thinking about the case as a stupid smile creeps the old monkey and his nose bleeds a bit. Naruto flushed brighter than Hinata ever could, he turned to face the Hokage again and saw his face, a thick mark appeared on his head. He jumped on the table and smacked Hiruzen on the head, "If you think what I think you think jiji, I'll burn your Icha-Icha collection, I know where you hide them." He said with a menacing face as he release his killing intent on the Hokage.
At the taste of the blond killing intent, Hiruzen gulp a bit as he nods slowly. 'His killing intent is far stronger than elite Jonin, very impressive,' he thought to himself. Naruko laughed at the Hokage's face as she bring Naruto down from the table.
Hiruzen coughed a bit before he continued, "If that is all, then both of you are dismissed." Naruko then hugs Naruto's hand as she leads them out of the room. Hiruzen chuckled at the sight, after both blonds were out of the office Hiruzen sighed. "I was glad you found someone who can be beside you Naruko-chan. I hope you will be happy Naruko-chan."
And scene. Chapter one is done and it took me 3 days, I hope you guys like it. I try my best to fix the grammar and write it longer. So please review and say what you really think.
