Things have been crazy in a short amount of time. I reunited with a former traveling partner Dawn and then we were sucked into the Digital World. My old friend T.K met up with Kari, a person he had a crush on. This infuriated Davis. Eventually we encountered Kari's older brother Tai inside a cave. Davis gained a Digivice we had never seen before and he wasn't the only one. Yolei Inoue and Cody Hido have new Digivices too, thus making them the new DigiDestined. After lifting the Digi-egg of Courage and meeting his partner Veemon, the kids are attacked by Monochromon. Using the egg's power, Davis was able to bypass the Digivolution block and Veemon Armor Digivolved into Flamedramon, the Fire of Courage and destroyed the Dark Ring on Monchromon receiving some help from MirageGaogamon, Voltachu and Atlanispoleon. Now the kids are piled onto Izzy, Yolei and Cody in the computer lab after returning from the Digital World.
Ash, Dawn, Pikachu and Piplup saw the dog pile.
"Where are we?" Tai asked, surprised.
"This is the computer room!" T.K said.
"Want some help up." Dawn offered.
"You bet." They helped the others to their feet.
"Hey, when you guys came from the computer where did you come from?" Cody asked.
"Where? The Digital World!" Davis said as he gets up with his fists pumped in excitement. "That place is the coolest ever! There we were when suddenly a dinosaur-like Digimon attacked and that's when I jumped into action." Yolei gets in Davis' face.
"Enough! Let's go back."
"Huh?!" Davis asked.
"I think we've all had enough excitement for one day." Cody frankly said.
"Don't you wanna go to the Digital World Cody?!" Yolei asked.
"Of course, seeing all those monsters and stuff would be fun but tonight's macaroni and cheese night at my house and I don't wanna miss out." Cody said.
"That's right, it's pork surprise at my place." Tai said.
"Stuffed green pepper in a salad." Izzy said.
"TV dinner in the microwave." T.K said.
"I'm gonna order pizza when I return to my apartment." Ray said.
Kari then realized Ash and Dawn had no place to go.
"Hey Ash, you're more than welcome to spend the night at my apartment."
"You can stay at my place Dawn."
"I'd like that Kari and it's great that we're friends." Dawn said.
Yolei gets upset and is close to comically crying.
"No fair! I wanna go!" Yolei cried.
"Don't worry Yolei, you'll get your chance." T.K assured.
"When?!" Yolei asked.
They exit the computer lab until Izzy runs back to the computer.
"Oops! I almost forgot to turn off the computer!" Izzy said as he notices that the green icon on the side of the gate has turned purple, meaning it's closed. "The gate's closed."
Ash and T.K headed over to his apartment.
When they got there T.K opened the door and noticed his mom on the computer. She looked up and saw him return home.
"T.K you're just in time for dinner."
"Mom, I'm back with a old friend."
He didn't get the chance to finish speaking.
"Ash Ketchum, I always knew you would come to visit us."
"You do remember who I am."
"How could I forget Delia's son. How is she doing by the way."
"Well." Ash replied.
"I heard you won the Kalos Pokemon League." Ash was now confused.
"How do you know that?" A shiny Gardevoir was next to her.
"No way! A shiny Gardevoir."
"I've had Gardevoir ever since it evolved from a Ralts. This isn't your ordinary Gardevoir either. It possesses the ability to open portals between dimensions."
"Do you have a issue with Ash staying here." She smiled.
"No I don't."
"Hey mom, can Dawn stay with us?" She asked.
She also agreed to the request.
That night, the original DigiDestined hold a meeting, prompting Matt to leave band practice.
"You're leaving already, Matt? We're not done with rehearsals." One of the band members asked.
"Sorry guys, there's something I gotta take care off." Matt said, leaving.
Tai, Sora, Izzy, T.K and Kari are gathered in the park along with old reliable Joe Kido, the bearer of the Crest of Reliability. Since school's finished for the day, the older kids aren't wearing their lame and boring school clothes. Instead they are wearing their regular clothes.
Tai is wearing a green shirt under a dark blue T-shirt with a yellow border on the top and triangle on each sleeve as well as in the middle which is cut by a yellow line. he's wearing a wristband, dark brown shorts, grey socks and dark blue sneakers with black soles. And of course he's wearing his goggles.
Sora is wearing a pink T-shirt with a yellow oval surrounded by light purple border with pointy tips and word 'circle' is in it. She wears red shorts, white socks and whitish sneakers.
Izzy's outfit consists of an orange shirt with black lines underneath a green short sleeved collared shirt. He's wearing black shoes with purple soles and purple stripes on the side.
Joe is wearing a dark green hoodie, cream pants and blue shoes with brown soles.
"Here he comes." T.K said.
T.K gets up when he sees Matt.
"Hi, Matt." T.K greeted.
"Hey everybody, sorry I'm late." Matt said. Sora jumps off the play set she was sitting on and smiles.
"It's been a long time. It's nice to be back." Sora said.
Meanwhile, at T.K's apartment building, Cody was on his balcony wearing a Kendo uniform and practicing with a wooden sword. He stops to think about what awaits him in the Digital World.
"I wonder what it's really like, to actually travel to the Digital World." Cody said to himself.
Yolei is in his room fixing his computer like she promised, though she is still grumpy about not having went to the Digital World.
"I don't care if they don't want me along, tomorrow I'm going to the Digital World." Yolei said with determination.
"Yolei, are you staying for dinner, mac and cheese." Cody's mom offered from the kitchen.
"No, but thanks anyway, I have to get going!" Yolei politely said.
Davis is in his room throwing his soccer ball up and catching it while thinking about the events that have occurred today. An image of Veemon appears above him. The boy has only met Veemon for 30 minutes and already the two of them have a strong connection.
"Boy, I just can't stop thinking about Veemon." Davis said.
"I wonder why we were brought here. And what kind of Digivice do we possess Dawn?"
"Hopefully we'll figure that out and defeat the Digimon Emperor too."
Back in the park, Tai, T.K and Kari finished filling Matt, Sora, Izzy and Joe in on everything that's happened. They were shocked to learn that another human was in the Digital World and is enslaving Digimon. They were in for more surprise with what was shared next.
"Master Digivolution and the D.N.A Charge?"
"They were types of Digivolution I had never seen before. Somehow Veemon and Gaomon could Digivolve, but Agumon and the others couldn't." Tai said.
"You mean Davis from the soccer club?" Sora asked.
"That's right, and the two kids from my apartment building, Yolei and Cody also got new Digivices." T.K said.
"Well if they got Digivices then that means they're the new DigiDestined." Joe said.
"That's just what I thought." Izzy stated.
"One question." Sora said. "If this Digimon Emperor is really hunting Digimon and turning them into his slaves will Biyomon and the others be okay?"
"I received a email from Mimi in America. She asked the same question." Kari said.
"I have a question as well. If Ash and Dawn's Digivices are unique, how are they able to combine with their Pokemon?" Izzy asked.
"Your guess is as good as mine." T.K said.
"I say we just go there and do things our way." Matt said.
"We can't; I went back to the computer and the gate was already closed." Izzy said.
Their faces drop, with their access to the Digital World cut off they can't help their Digimon.
"Then that means…we can't help them." Matt said.
"I'm going back first thing tomorrow morning to check the computer to see if the gate's opened up again." Izzy said.
"I'm going with you!" Tai said.
"And so am I!" Sora said.
Kari nods, "Mmm-hmm!"
T.K nods, "Mmm-hmm!"
"My band's got a big concert coming up so have to practice." Matt said.
Tai jumps down from top of his bench and looks at Matt with a smile.
"Don't worry about it, guys, leave everything to us!" Tai said.
"Okay, but let us know if you need us." Matt said.
"Just as I thought. Still closed. I've got to find a way into the Digital World." Izzy said.
Not too long after that, Yolei and Cody walk in the computer room.
"What are you doing in here?" Yolei asked.
"Oh, hi. I was just getting more information on what happened here yesterday," Izzy said.
"I couldn't sleep last night. I kept thinking about it. Izzy, will you take me with you to the Digital World?" Cody asked.
"I can't because the gate isn't...huh? But, it's open!" Izzy said in shock as the DigiPort opens.
Ash, Dawn, Pikachu, Piplup, T.K, Kari, Davis, Ray, Tai and Sora walk in.
"How's it going, guys?" Davis asked.
"Hi, everybody!" Sora greeted.
Davis, Yolei, and Cody shows Sora the Digivices.
"Those are the new Digivices? How cool!"
T.K and Kari then turn to Ash and Dawn.
"Ash, Dawn let Sora see your Digivices." Ash and Dawn showed her their Digivices.
Pikachu and Piplup pop out of their backpacks.
"Those are the unique Digivices? They're awesome and this is the first time I've seen Pokemon. They're really cute."
"That's right! Those were the ones that were released from the Digi-egg when I touched it. You already saw Davis'," Tai said.
"How did you obtain yours Ash, Dawn?" T.K. asked.
"They came out of the computer back in my house." Ash said.
"Mm." Dawn nodded.
"Pika." Pikachu said.
"Pip." Piplup said.
"Well, what are we waiting around here for? I say we go!" Yolei said.
"Wait a minute. Maybe I should give you a couple of pointers on the things you're about to see." Davis said with a grin.
"Give me a break. You've only been there once! What do you know?" Yolei scoffed, not interested in what Davis had to say.
"I think we should be prepared for a little danger." Cody suggested.
"My suspicions were confirmed. I checked the other computers, and none of them seem to be affected by it. It's only open on this one. Also, the gate has never been opened two days in a row before!" Izzy said.
"Then I say we get going! As ashore that's going ashore!" Davis said.
"Mm-hmm." Everyone else agreed.
"Tai Kamiya? Is that you?" An older male voice asked. They all turned around and saw it was Mr. Fujiyama. "We haven't seen you here in a while."
"Mr. Fujiyama!" Tai said in surprise, causing the new DigiDestined to hide their Digivices.
"And Sora and Izzy are here, too. Say, didn't you all graduate?" Mr. Fujiyama asked.
Then he caught sight of Ash and Dawn. Pikachu and Piplup were in their backpacks.
"Who are they?"
"Ash and Dawn. They're friends of mine and Kari."
"We did, and what are you doing here?" Tai asked.
"I'm the new head of the computer club." Mr. Fujiyama answered.
"But what do you know about using computers?" Tai and Sora asked.
"Not a single thing!" Mr. Fujiyama said. A sweat drop forms on Tai and Sora.
"There's something I need to talk to you about. You got a minute?"
"Sure! What is it?" Mr. Fujiyama asked.
"I'm having a problem adjusting to High School. It's the girls. They're so much older." Tai said as he pushes Mr. Fujiyama out of the computer room, and covering for the other Digidestined.
"Thanks, Tai. We owe you." Sora said.
Ash and Dawn saw how close Tai and Sora were.
"I think Sora likes Tai." Ash noted.
"I can see that." Dawn replied.
"Alright! Let's get going!" Izzy said.
The Digidestined hold up their Digivices and fly into the computer.
The DigiDestined came out of a TV in the Digital World. Yolei and Cody both wore a new outfit, upon arriving in the Digital World.
Yolei's new outfit consists of a light blue turtleneck shirt under a tan vest with pockets on both sides in addition to white gloves, red pants that are puffy around the thighs held up by a black belt with a silver buckle, and tall light green and white boots with a zipper. On her head, she wears an orange helmet, made of a malleable material like leather.
Cody's new outfit consists of a beige tunic buttoned up with a single square button, a wide collar and purple trimmings. He also wears a yellow undershirt with a high collar, purple pants, black socks, and brown and white slip-on shoes.
"Is everyone okay?" Izzy asked.
"Yeah, but I feel like I went through the rinse cycle of the dishwasher." Davis said.
"So this is the Digital World?" Cody asked. He noticed his new outfit. "Hey, wait, I'm wearing new clothes! And they're pretty comfortable, too!"
"Hey! I'm dressed like I'm part of the cool crowd!" Yolei said.
"I forgot the part about a new wardrobe." Davis said.
"I love this helmet! It makes my glasses look smaller!" Yolei said.
"I wonder if they anything in a surfer's style!" Davis said.
"Kids today have no sense of value. When I was a kid, I showed a lot more respect whenever I receive a gift." Sora said. This makes Kari giggle.
"Sora, I hate to say this, but you're sounding just like my mom." Kari said.
"Did the Digital World choose the right person to wield the Digi-Egg of Courage? Davis is acting like a child." Ash muttered.
"Pika." Pikachu said.
"Perhaps he just needs to gain more experience." Dawn said.
"Pip." Piplup said.
The DigiDestined began to walk through the Digital World, looking for their respective partners.
"Biyomon!" Sora called out.
"Tentomon!" Izzy called out.
"Ash, do you get the feeling we're being watched?" Dawn asked him.
"I do." His eyes narrowed.
The Digimon Emperor watched them from his monitor. He chuckled evilly.
"I've been waiting for you to get here. Now let the games begin." The Digimon Emperor said. "Snimon, attack!"
Meanwhile, a Snimon flies out from a mountain, obeying the Digimon Emperor.
Back with the group, Davis shouts for Veemon to show up.
"Veemon! Where are you? Veemon!" Davis called out.
"Davis!" Veemon called back, making Davis smile. He sees Veemon running up to Davis with a smile. "Davis, I'm over here!"
"Veemon!" Davis said, taking Veemon by the hand.
"Davis. I've brought Patamon and his friends with me." Veemon said.
Not too far, Patamon, Gatomon, Biyomon, and Tentomon run right behind Veemon. The Children of Love and Knowledge were happy to see their partners safe and sound.
"Tentomon!" Izzy said.
"Biyomon!" Sora said.
Izzy and Sora reunite with their partners.
"Tentomon." Izzy happily said.
As they celebrate their reunion, a shadow passes over them, and Snimon appeared and roars. Snimon heads right for Sora and Biyomon, leaving them both scared.
"Spiral Twister!"
"Boom Bubble!"
"Super Shocker!"
Snimon easily dodges their attacks. Gatomon jumped in the air to give the mantis-like Digimon a punch in the face.
"Lightning Paw!" Gatomon shouted as she punches Snimon. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough, so he smacked the cat down to the ground. "I'm sorry. Without my tail ring, I don't have enough power!"
"Don't worry about it! I'll just have to Armor Digivolve. Davis, get the egg ready!" Veemon said.
"Right." Davis said as he grabbed his Digivice and D-Terminal.
Over to the Digimon Emperor, he was ready for it this time.
"Not so fast! This isn't a drill, Drimogemon!" The Digimon Emperor said.
The earth opens from under Davis and he falls in. Davis grabs a rock and holds on. Davis saw Drimogemon emerge from underneath and has a Dark Ring on his right wrist.
The Digimon Analyzer activates.
"Drimogemon lives deep insidethe cavities of the Digital World. His Drill Spin attack will make you wish you were at the dentist!" Tentomon said. The Digimon Analyzer deactivates.
"Are you okay?" Veemon asked from up above.
Over to the Digimon Emperor, he sends his next slave to do the work.
"You're up, Mojyamon!" The Digimon Emperor said.
Mojyamon pushes two sycamore trees apart with a dark ring on his wrist as well. The Digimon Analyzer activates.
"Mojyamon's a frosty digimon that lives in the snowy mountains. His bone boomerang attack will make your head spin!" Tentomon said. The Digimon Analyzer deactivates.
"Bone Boomerang!" Mojyamon shouted, throwing a bone at Veemon. When it hits him, Veemon falls into the hole, screaming.
"Veemon!" Davis gasped. He let's go of the rock and grabbed Veemon by the tail. Unfortunately, they both fell deep in the earth, making Drimogemon grab them both. Drimogemon disappeared into the earth.
Up above, Yolei falls on her knees in disbelief. Yolei and Cody ends up shaking like a leaf on a tree.
"Oh, my. They're gone. The ground just opened up and swallowed then." Yolei said.
"Well, I want to go home now." Cody said.
"First, we have to protect ourselves." Izzy said.
"But what about Davis?" Cody asked.
Snimon turns back around to attack. The Digimon attack again.
"Not this time. D.N.A Charge Overdrive!"
"Gaomon warp digivolve to...MirageGaogamon!"
Ash and Dawn release Sceptile and Chesnaught from their Poke Balls.
"Wow." Sora gasped.
"Leaf Blade!"
"Seed Bomb!"
"Double Crescent Mirage!"
The three attacks keep Mojyamon and Snimon at bay.
"Nice job guys." Yolei said.
"Let's get out of here before they resume the attack."
"Those two are strong. I don't time to deal with this. I have a prisoner to see."
Meanwhile, we see Davis waking up, hanging at a cliff with his hands restrained.
"Huh? Ah! Great, I must have been walking in my sleep again. Where am I?" Davis asked.
"You're just hanging around." A voice echoed. Davis looked up and saw the Digimon Emperor.
"Who are you?" Davis asked. The Digimon Emperor chuckled.
"I'm your worst nightmare come to life. Frankly, I'm rather disappointed I was able to catch you so easily." the Digimon Emperor said.
"Are you the Digimon Emperor?" Davis asked.
"Speaking!" The Digimon Emperor confirmed.
"But you're a kid, just like me." Davis said. The Digimon Emperor laughed again.
"I'm nothing like you. If I was, I'd be the one hanging from a cliff. Oh, that reminds me." The Digimon Emperor said.
He snapped his fingers. The other cliff opens and shows Veemon is hanging same as Davis.
"Veemon!" Davis exclaimed.
"Davis! Hey, great view, isn't it?" Veemon asked, trying to keep his cool.
"I haven't had time to look. Quick, Armor Digivolve!" Davis said.
"There's just one problem. Aren't you going to need these to pull off that little trick?" The Digimon Emperor taunted as he holds Davis' Digivice and D-Terminal. He laughed. Davis gasped.
Meanwhile, the rest of the DigiDestined have managed to escape from the Digimon Emperor's slaves and made it to a nearby jungle.
"Hey guys, why didn't you tell us you had more Pokemon?"
"We forgot to explain that we can only hold six Pokemon at a time." Ash explained.
"That reminds me. Dawn, how did you get your hands on a Chesnaught?"
"I got her while she was a Chespin. We traveled across the Johto Region competing in contests and then she evolved."
"When we get back, you have to show us the rest of your Pokemon."
"I agree with T.K."
"Wait up! This Digivice you were so nice enough to give me is starting to make noise," Cody said.
The rest looked at their Digivices, too.
"My digivice is going off, too! There might be something nearby!" T.K said.
"A building of some sort." Sora said.
"There are no buildings around here!" Biyomon said.
"No, just the temple." Tentomon said.
"Temple?" Sora asked.
"Yeah, but it's closed down now."
"They couldn't book enough weddings or Bar Mitzvahs." Tentomon said.
"Well, something in there is making the Digivices go off, and I don't think it was the caterers. Let's take a look." Sora said.
The Digidestined climbs up the stairs. Yolei pants with exhaustion.
"I'm exhausted! Hasn't anyone ever heard of escalators?" Yolei asked.
"This is nothing." Dawn declared. "Try having a trio of idiotic thieves chase you around the world with the intent of stealing your Pokemon."
The DigiDestined arrive inside the temple, and two objects are sitting on an altar.
"They look like Digi-eggs!" Sora said.
"Must be what our Digivices were reacting to." Cody said.
"Look. That one has the Crest of Love on it." Sora said.
"And that one has the Crest of Knowledge!" Izzy said.
Sora and Izzy try to lift the Digi-eggs up, but can't.
"It's just no use." Sora said.
"We'll never be able to move them." Izzy said.
"Well, here's a idea. Let Yolei and Cody do it." Dawn suggested.
"Just like-" Ash recalled Davis lifting the Digi-Egg of Courage with very little effort.
Izzy and Sora then remembered what they were talking about last night.
(Flashback)
"Somehow Veemon and Gaomon could Digivolve, but Agumon and the others couldn't." Tai said.
(End of flashback)
"Yolei, I think you should try to move it." Sora said.
"You too, Cody." Izzy said.
"What? You want us to try it?" Yolei asked.
"Uh, okay." Cody said.
Cody and Yolei walk to the altars and laid their hands on the Digieggs of Love and Knowledge. They lifted the Digieggs like it was no problem.
"Woah!" Everyone all said at awe.
"Huh?" Izzy asked.
"They were able to lift them!" Kari said.
"Just like Davis did yesterday!" T.K added.
Two beams of light come from where the Digieggs used to be. One light is red and the other is purple. Two Digimon emerge from them.
One is is a small Digimon resembling a bald eagle with red feathers and large yellow feet. His wings each have three digits, and they appear to be like fingers. He has clear blue eyes, and wears a black belt around his forehead. On the back of his head, secured by the belt, is a feather.
The other is a small yellow glyptodont-like Digimon with three-clawed limbs and a short tail. He has a purple underside.
The bird flies ahead first.
The Digimon Analyzer activates.
"Ah! It feels so good to be out from underneath that stuffy rock and spread my wings!" Hawkmon said.
The Digimon Analyzer deactivates for a moment for the armadillo to jump forward.
"Howdy!" The armadillo said. The Digimon Analyzer activates again and see that his name is Armadillomon. "Why'd you have to wake me up? I was having such a nice dream." The Digimon Analyzer deactivates.
"Woah!" Everyone said in awe. The ones who were more awestruck were Yolei and Cody.
"Greetings, my name is Hawkmon, and I've been waiting to make your acquaintance!" Hawkmon introduced himself.
"Uh, are you talking to me?" Yolei asked. Armadillomon yawned.
"Wowee, I think my shell fell asleep. Hi, I'm Armadillomon, and you and I are partners." Armadillomon said.
"Oh! Well..." Cody said.
"So then, Yolei, you and I shall be working together as a team!" Hawkmon said.
"What? I don't fight? Except with my sister over who gets the last cookie!" Yolei said. Sora looked at Yolei and it reminded her of Mimi when she didn't want to fight anymore because of the Dark Masters destroying any Digimon who helped them.
"Are you saying you refuse to fight? Humph! Why do I get the defective human?" Hawkmon huffed. Sora walked up to Yolei.
"Yolei?" Sora asked, taking Yolei by the hand.
"What is is, Sora?" Yolei asked.
"I have this friend. Her name is Mimi, and she's a lot like you. She said she didn't want to fight anymore, either, even though she knew she had to. She did it for the Digital World, and us. Yolei, the more you do to help your Digimon, the closer you two will become! And that's a friendship you'll carry with you for the rest of your life," Sora said as we see a flashback to when Mimi refuses to fight. The flashback ends. "And you've got another friend for life. Me."
Yolei felt so very touched by Sora's kind words. She knew she was right and she had to her part, too, regardless if she wanted to or not.
Izzy walked up to Cody.
"So tell me, what do you think of the digital world so far, Cody?" Izzy asked.
"I don't know. After all, I've only been here for a short time." Cody said.
"But you must have some sort of opinion." Izzy said.
"Well, I try not to judge things until I have all the information, but this place is so new to me, and I have so many unanswered questions, I don't know where to start first." Cody said. Izzy saw a bit of himself in Cody. Curious just like him.
"You seem like a curious kid who wants to know all the facts. Sounds like someone I know." Izzy said.
"What should I do?" Cody asked.
"Do just what I did. Learn to trust your instincts. And if there's a problem you can't solve, just come to me, and we can solve it together." Izzy said.
"Okay!" Cody said.
Yolei and Cody turned around and a red and purple shine comes from each of the Digieggs.
"I beg your pardon, but in order for us to Digivolve, you must say 'Digi Armor Energize'," Hawkmon instructed.
"DIGI ARMOR ENERGIZE!" Yolei and Cody shouted.

Hawkmon quickly fuses with the Digi-egg and is engulfed by rings of wind that take shape as images of Biyomon and all of her Digivolutions appear.
Halsemon appeared as a griffin resembling a bald eagle. He has red feathers and large yellow feet. His head is covered with a silver armor that looks like the Digi-egg of Love, while on his forehead is the Crest of Love with one purple curved mark behind each side of its eyes. He has wings which each have three digits under the wings of his armor and a stiff, brushy tail.
Digimon, Digital Monsters, Digimon are the champions!
"Halsemon, the Wings of Love!"

The Digimon Analyzer activates.
"I am an Armor Digimon. As Hawkmon, I use the Digi-egg of Love to Armor Digivolve. I use my tempest wing attack to defeat my enemies." Halsemon said. The Digimon Analyzer deactivates.

"Now what do you say we find the others?
"Wow!" Yolei and Cody said with awe.
"Woah!" Sora and Izzy said, also with awe.
Back at the cliff, Davis glared at the Digimon Emperor.
"Give me back my Digivice! And let Veemon go, he has nothing to do with this!" Davis demanded.
"Yeah, right. You've both been trespassing in my garden without my permission. And as your punishment, you'll have to watch Veemon as he becomes my slave." The Digimon Emperor said. A Dark Ring appears from thin air.
"Veemon, no!" Davis yelled as the Digimon Emperor laughed evilly.
"I'll never become your slave! You might as well destroy me now and get it over with!" Veemon dared the emperor.
"As you wish." The Digimon Emperor said. The Dark Ring slowly moves closely to Veemon who began to regret his taunt.
"Hey, take it easy! I was just kidding. Come on, old buddy, don't you know a good joke when you hear one? You know, a little comedy to lighten the mood. Ha-ha! A funny guy, Veemon. Come on." Veemon said.
"Veemon, no!" Davis exclaimed.
"I don't hear anyone laughing now, Veemon!" The Digimon Emperor said. The Dark Ring was getting closer to him.
"Leave him alone!" Davis demanded.
"Full Moon Blaster!" The Dark Ring was completely destroyed.
"Who's that?" The Digimon Emperor asked, annoyed.
MirageGaogamon and Halsemon came flying in.
"Davis! Hold on, we're coming!" Yolei called out.
"Save Veemon!" Davis called out as Voltachu broke the restraints holding him to the rock.
The wall behind Veemon crumbles, so Digmon grabbed him.
"Sorry to burst in on you like this." Digmon said.
"You could have knocked!" Veemon said.
"Great." The Digimon Emperor growled as he turned around. Just when he was about to leave, he sees Gatomon standing in his path.
"This litter box ain't big enough for the both of us." Gatomon said.
Wormmon appeared in front of the Digimon Emperor, intending to protect him.
"Keep your claws to yourself, you big bully!" Wormmon said. He leapt at Gatomon.
"Out of the way, fish bait!" Gatomon yelled. "Lightning Paw!" She knocks Wormmon to the emperor, sending the Digivice and D-Terminal flying out of his hand.
"You're useless!" The Digimon Emperor yelled.
Yolei catches the Digivice and D-Terminal.
"Thank you!" Yolei said.
"Here kitty!" The Digimon Emperor yelled, using his whip on her. He tosses Gatomon to the cliff. Atlantispoleon catches her.
The Digimon Emperor calls upon 3 of his slaves.
"Snimon! Mojyamon! Drimogemon!" The Digimon Emperor yelled as the enslaved Digimon responded to his call.
Davis jumps down from a rock he was standing on.
"Here ya go!" Yolei said, handing Davis his Digivice and D-Terminal.
"Thanks a lot, Yolei! Now it's time for a little payback. What do you say, Veemon?" Davis asked.
The D-terminal extends.
"Digi Armor Energize!" Davis shouted.
The Digi-egg of Courage comes out.

Veemon fuses with the Digi-egg and is engulfed by rings of fire that take shape as images of Agumon and all of his Digivolutions appear. Out of the fire, claws extend from his fists and then a spike from his helmet.

"Better hold on tight!" Halsemon said.
"Okay!" Yolei said as Halsemon flew right at the mantis.
"Let's show them what armor digimon can do against the slaves of the emperor. Attack!" Flamedramon said.
Run Around
Drimogemon and Digmon tunnels into the earth.
"Ice Cloud!" Mojyamon roared, throwing an icicle at Flamedramon. He just scoffed.
"When it's fire against ice, fire always wins." Flamedramon said as his claws gave off a yellow glow. Flamedramon catches the icicle, causing it to melt. Mojyamon was shocked to see his attack failed.
"Volt Blast!"
"Aqua Trident!"
"Fire Rocket!" Flamedramon fired four fireballs from his claws. Mojyamon is engulfed in flames. The Dark Ring is then destroyed.
"Yeah! You destroyed the dark ring, Flamedramon!" Davis said.
"Twin Sickles!" Snimon roared, sending out slash energy at Halsemon. He does a spiral. Yolei hangs on tight, not wanting to fall off.
"Time for Tempest Wing!" Halsemon said as he fired twin beams of energy from his wings. He successfully destroyed the Dark Ring.
"You did it, Halsemon!" Yolei said.
Underground, Drimogemon drills underneath the earth and bursts through the wall. He sees Digmon in front of him.
"I guess we're the drill team! Gold Rush!" Digmon shouted, firing all of his drills at the mole. The drills explodes upon contact and destroyed the Dark Ring in the process.

The Digimon Emperor laughed, despite being defeated for a second time.
"They're better than I thought. This makes things a lot more interesting." The Digimon Emperor said.
Back with the DigiDestined and their partners. The freed Digimon stood before the new Digimon.
"Sorry we had to fight you, but we had to get rid of the Dark Rings. I hope we're still buds!" Veemon said.
"It's okay. Thank you for saving us." Mojyamon said. The three Digimon walked off, talking among themselves. "Being the Digimon Emperor's slave was hard work! All day long, it's destroy this, destroy that, bring me a cappuccino..."
"He makes me so mad! Digimon Emperor! I'll show him who's in charge around here!" Davis said.
"Settle down!" Ash and Dawn yell.
"So then, Yolei, will I be able to count on your assistance from now on?" Hawkmon asked.
"Absolutely. 100%!" Yolei said.
"And will we be a team, Cody? When I'm not napping?" Armadillomon asked.
"Of course! I'd be honored to be your partner." Cody said.
The veteran DigiDestined looked at the new DigiDestined proudly.
"Well, it looks like the new DigiDestined team doesn't need us around anymore." Sora said.
"I don't know. I still think we have a lot of work ahead of us." Izzy said.
"We can still help them fight the Emperor." Biyomon said.
"And we can also provide them with advice and guidance!" Tentomon said.
"We'll do whatever it takes to protect the Digital World!" Ash declared.
"That goes double for me." Dawn added.
"Pika."
"Pip."
"What a team!" Sora said.
"Well, it's time to go home!" Davis said.
One by one, Davis, Yolei, Cody, Ash, Dawn, T.K, Kari, Sora, Izzy, Ray and the Digimon jumped into the TV they came out of, with the exception of Biyomon and Tentomon. Davis, Yolei, and Cody are back in their regular clothes. Veemon, Hawkmon, and Armadillomon have de-Digivolved back to their In-Training forms as Patamon, Gaomon and Gatomon stayed the same.
"Boy when it comes to girls, this guy needs to learn."
"What happened to you guys?"
"Please don't ask." Sora, Izzy, T.K, Kari, Davis, Yolei, and Cody all said at once.
"Woah, the new Digimon all returned to their In-Training forms!" Tai said.
"They're so cute!" Dawn squealed.
"You guys could use some landing lessons." Ash advised.
"I agree." T.K nodded.
"Are we goning to have to do this every time we come back?" Kari asked.
"I hope not." Dawn sighed.
"At least we made it back to the real world safe and sound!" T.K said.
"Yeah." Ash replied.
"Pika." Pikachu said.
"Hmm...except Biyomon and Tentomon..." Sora said.
"Sora! Don't worry. We'll be alright, because the Digimon Emperor never comes out at night." Biyomon said from the computer screen.
"Imagine. All that power, and he's afraid of the dark!" Tentomon said.
"Well, get some rest. You'll need it for tomorrow!" Sora said.
"Yeah! That's when we'll go back to the digital world, and beat the Digimon Emperor once and for all!" Davis said.
The image of the Digimon appeared briefly.
"Oh, really? Well, excuse me if I don't start shaking in my boots." The Digimon Emperor said before the image disappeared.
