Kiriakis Mansion
The morning after Bo's Party, Ciara, and Bo were sleeping. Ciara being; a light sleeper, woke up when she heard the sound of a lawn mower. Ciara rolled over and saw Ben's side of the bed empty.
She sat; up in bed and looked around the room; the bathroom door was open, so Ben wasn't; in there.
The other half of the baby monitor was missing, so Ciara figured Ben had it with him. She checked on Bo, who was still sleeping, and went to find Ben.
Ciara walked out back and saw Ben mowing the lawn. Ben noticed her standing there and walked over.
" Good Morning," Ben said as he kissed her.
" Good Morning; what are you doing?"
" Mowing the lawn."
" Why? babe, you know they have a gardener, right?"
" He is sick; I figured I could help out; since they are letting us stay here."
" That is very sweet, baby."
" What did you want to do today?"
" I thought we could have a pool day, just sit and relax, take Bo in the pool."
" That sounds perfect; I'll finish up. Then I'll help you with Bo."
Ciara kissed Ben and then went back into the house.
Ciara was just about to walk upstairs when she heard the doorbell ring.
She answered and saw Belle on the other side.
" Hi, sorry to just drop by. I forgot to give you this yesterday", Belle said as she handed a bag to Ciara.
" What is this?"
" It's from Claire. I do apologize in advance; it lights up and sings."
Ciara pulled the gift out; it was a baby guitar.
" Of course, she would get him a musical instrument."
" It's; very sweet I think Bo will love it." Just as Ciara said it, she heard Bo crying.
" I guess he's awake," Ciara said as she looked at Belle.
" Could I come with you? I would love to see him."
" Of course."
Ciara and Belle headed upstairs. When they walked in, Bo was standing in his crib.
" Good Moring baby," Ciara said as she picked him up. Ciara brought Bo Over to the bed and asked Belle if she could watch him while she used the bathroom.
Belle and Bo were playing with the new toy Claire sent him while they waited for Ciara; to come back. It had been a while, so Belle picked Bo up and knocked on the bathroom door.
" Ciara, are you ok in there?"
" Ciara?"
Belle put Bo in the crib and went back to the door.
" Ciara, I'm coming in."
Belle opened the bathroom door and saw Ciara pass out on the floor. Belle ran over and shook Ciara to try and wake her up. Belle grabbed her phone and dialed 9-1-1.
Ben had taken a break to get some water when he heard Bo crying and Belle yelling Ciara's name. He ran into the house and up the stairs.
He ran into the bedroom and saw Bo crying in his crib and Belle in the bathroom with Ciara.
" Belle, what happened?"
" I don't know; she said she had to use the bathroom, then when she didn't come back, I checked on her and found her like this.
Belle went to comfort Bo while Ben checked on Ciara.
" Baby can you hear me; you need to wake up."
" Ciara, wake up."
" Come on, baby; please wake up."
While Ben was trying to wake Ciara up, the paramedics arrived. Her blood pressure was low, so they loaded her onto the stretcher and took her to the hospital.
" I'm going to go with her; will you follow us?"
" Of course, I'll get Bo ready and follow you."
" Here are the keys to the car; his diaper bag is on the chair."
Belle said they would be fine and watched as Ben left the room.
Hospital
When they arrived, Kayla took Ciara back and told Ben to wait; she would give him an update; soon.
Ben waited for what like; felt like forever before Kayla came out to talk to him.
" Is she ok?"
" She is going to be fine; she was dehydrated, which caused he blood pressure to drop, and that's why she fainted."
" What about the baby?"
" The baby is fine."
" Can I see; her."
" Of course, she is awake and getting some fluids; then you should be able to take her home."
Belle walked off the elevator with Bo in the stroller just as Ben was about to go and see Ciara.
" Hey, is she ok?"
" Kayla said she'll be fine; she was dehydrated, so her blood pressure dropped, which caused her to faint."
" I'm on my way to see her; could you stay with Bo while I check on her?"
" Of course, we will wait right here."
Ben walked into Ciara's room and saw her sitting in bed.
Ciara looked at the door and smiled, "Hi."
" You scared me."
" I'm sorry, baby."
" All that matters is that you're ok; your both ok," Ben said as he placed his hand on her stomach.
" Ben sat next to Ciara and held her hand."
" Kayla said once you finish this bag of fluids, you can go home."
" That's good, so we can still have our pool day with Bo."
" Maybe we should just relax in bed and watch a movie with Bo instead."
" I'm not going to let this ruin our pool day."
" Why don't we just wait and see what Kayla says."
" Where is Bo?"
" He's in the waiting area with Belle."
" Can you bring him here; I want to see him."
" Of course, I will be right back."
Ben kissed Ciara and then left the room. Ciara smiled as she watched Ben; leave.
A minute later, Ben returned with Bo and Belle.
" I am so glad you are ok," Belle said as she hugged Ciara.
" I'm sorry I scared you."
" Sorry to interrupt, but; little man wants his mommy."
" Come here, sweetheart," Ciara said as Ben placed him on the bed; next to her.
Ciara kissed his head and snuggled with him while they waited for Kayla to come; in.
Kayla came in and checked Ciara's blood pressure which was back to normal the bag of fluids finished, so she sent a nurse in to take out her IV.
Kayla said they could still have their pool day, but Ciara had to stay hydrated. Ben invited Belle and Shawn to join them. Belle said she would love to and would check with Shawn.
Ciara got dressed and signed the discharge papers then they headed home.
Kiriakis Mansion
Ben and Ciara got Bo ready for the pool then they got ready; they put sunscreen on Bo and then on each other. Ciara grabbed a couple of towels while Ben carried Bo.
When; they got outside, Shawn and Belle were already waiting by the pool.
Belle and Ciara sat on; a couple of chairs while Ben and Shawn took Bo into the pool.
All they could hear; was Bo giggling whenever Ben dipped him in the water.
Ben passed Bo to Shawn and got out of the pool. Ben grabbed a glass of water and brought it over to Ciara.
" Wow, my own pool boy, I like it."
Ben just laughed before asking Belle if he could get anything for her.
" I'm ok right now, but thank you."
Ben just smiled at them before going back to the pool.
They spent the rest of the day; by the poo;l eating sandwiches and fresh fruit, talking, and swimming.
Shawn and Belle left once Bo went down for his nap. Ben said Ciara should take a nap as well.
" Baby, I'm fine. I don't need a nap."
" I want you to relax."
" I have been relaxing all day by the pool."
" Please, for me?"
" Fine, but you are joining me."
" I can do that."
It didn't take long for them to fall asleep.
A few hours later, Ben woke up and got out of bed. Ciara felt him move and rolled over.
" How long were we asleep?"
" A few hours."
" Where are you going?"
" To get you a snack and to refill your water bottle."
" I can do it."
" I got it; stay in bed."
After Ben left, Ciara got up to check on Bo, who was still sleeping. When Ben came back, he saw the; bed empty and the bathroom door closed.
" Ciara?"
" I'll be out in a minute."
Ben heard the sink turn off and the bathroom door open.
" Are you ok?"
" I'm fine just had to use the bathroom."
"Ok."
" Ben, are you ok?"
" I'm fine."
" No, you're not. Talk to me; what's going on?"
" When I didn't see you in bed, and the bathroom door was closed, all I could think about was what happened earlier today."
" Baby, I'm fine. I feel a lot better; you have been; taking care of me all day. Let me take care of you."
Ciara kneeled behind him on the bed and started to massage his neck.
" Baby, you are so tense you need to relax, ok?"
" That feels really good."
Ciara continued to rub his neck before kissing it. Ciara could feel Ben starting to relax. She was; just about to kiss his neck again when Bo woke up and started to fuss.
" I'll get him," Ben said as he went to stand up.
" I got him," Ciara said as she got off the bed.
Ciara changed Bo, brought him over; to the bed, and placed him on Ben's lap.
" I forgot to show you the present Claire sent for Bo."
Ciara picked it up and brought it to the bed.
" A guitar?"
" Yep, it lights up and plays music."
" What do you think, Bo?"
Bo smiled when Ben pushed one of the buttons, and it lit up.
" I think he likes it."
They watched; as Bo pushed more buttons, and; it started to sing and make noise.
Later on, in the night, after putting Bo to bed, they enjoyed a swim together, just the two of them. Flirting; and laughing together, sharing cuddles and kisses.
" I have never been more relaxed than I am right now."
" Good," Ciara said as she leaned in to kiss him.
After they pulled away, they just stared into each other's eyes and smiled.
