The Capitol, Gallifrey
The sun had set on Gallifrey. The Doctor, Jessica, and Khaldun all stood up from the edge of the platform. "Now, let's get in the TARDIS." the Doctor said, "I'm sure something is waiting for us." The trio went inside of the TARDIS and the Doctor began to launch. However, something was wrong: the TARDIS refused to budge. "Oh dear." the Doctor said.
"Why isn't it taking off?" Jessica asked.
"I think I'm still needed here. Considering this planet is already dead, I don't know what purpose I have here." The Doctor would sigh. "I guess we have to find out where we have to go."
"Well, I could do with something smaller." Khaldun replied, "Saving the world can take a lot of you."
"Then let's go."
The trio would not make it far out of the TARDIS, however, as they were shot with darts. "Doctor..." Jessica said drowsily, "What's happening?"
"I think... I think we may have been put in a trap..." the Doctor replied before falling to the ground unconscious along with the rest of the trio.
When the Doctor woke up, she found that she was bound to what looked like a hospital bed, with tubes put into her pumping some kind of chemicals into her. Whatever they were doing, they were keeping her calm. She could overhear something.
"The subject has partial human DNA." the figure said into a recording device, "This could be a similar situation to when I detected partial alien DNA in Yeshua. Here's hoping that no religion builds around..." The figure locked eyes with the Doctor. "...her. The subject has awoken, so I'll initiate conversation." The figure moved towards the Doctor. "Hello, Doctor." she began as the Doctor looked around her surroundings: metallic grey walls, pickled specimens surrounding the console, and two other beds nearby containing Jessica and Khaldun. "Look at me." The Doctor looked at the figure. There's only one Time Lord she knows that has a setup like this.
"Hello, Rani." the Doctor replied, "I thought you died."
"Well, I am a fugitive who escaped my last failed experiment. I had to hide and fake my death. That also included a new face."
"I can see. What a big chin you've got there."
The Rani stroked her chin. "I'll take that as a compliment. Besides, your face isn't much better, with those eyes so far apart."
"All the better to boost my peripheral vision."
The Rani put her recording device back up and began to walk around. "The subject is showing some sort of hostility, yet the level of adrenaline has successfully been kept low by the suppressants. The Mackem and the Arab have yet to wake up, but that shows that the singular cardiovascular system of humans are worse at filtering out the morphine than the binary cardiovascular system of Shobogans like me-"
"You said I'm part-human, right?"
"Hold that thought." The Rani put down the device. "You overheard me?"
"As I woke up, yes."
"You have a lot of interesting things about your genetics, Timeless Child."
The Doctor began to look slightly angry. "How did you know about my past?"
"I put you in the Matrix while you were unconscious. You are pretty light for your frame, I'll have to admit. Even after this planet has become orphaned, the Matrix miraculously worked, so I got into your past. Deep into it. Which is why I have you here." The Rani moved towards a table, which had various pieces of chemical equipment. "I came up with a chemical that helps detect whether someone comes from a different dimension or not. Believe it or not, it's related to my regeneration: there was somebody who claimed to be a wit-"
"I'm getting out of here!" The Doctor broke free from her bondage and ran to the front of the TARDIS.
"Go ahead, get out."
The Doctor ran outside, only to find out where she was.

Pluto
The Doctor saw the vast expanse of plains and mountains, the thin, unbreathable sky above her. If she left the atmosphere bubble that the TARDIS had generated, she would die. She felt something on her back.
"Go ahead, run." the Rani said, pressing the barrel of her gun on the Doctor's lumbar, "When they find your frozen corpse floating in deep space, know it would be your own fault that happened."
"...because I can't regenerate without any oxygen around." the Doctor replied solemnly.
"Now, turn around and get back inside."
"How do you know that I won't grab your gun and knock you out?"
"Because that's not you, Doctor. Besides, you will be shot before you grab my gun. Now, turn around." The Doctor turned around and went back inside, following the Rani back to the Doctor's bed. She laid back down and let the Rani put all the tubes back in her body, the Doctor's fury simmering down as the adrenaline was suppressed and the serotonin replaced it, making her happy. "Now, let's get some samples from you." The Rani said before putting down her gun and bringing out a syringe. She was punctured by the syringe and had some of her blood taken out of her, the surpressents causing her to not feel any sort of pain. "There you go." the Rani said, "See, it wasn't that bad, was it?"
"I've done what you wanted." the Doctor replied, "Now please, take me and my friends back to Gallifrey."
"Now hold on, Doctor. I haven't done the test yet. As I said, the chemical I am going to use should detect whether you're from this universe or not. I know it works."
The Rani put the Doctor's blood in the petri dish alongside this supposed chemical she claimed to make. The Doctor could not see it: the table that the chemical was being tested on was out of her eyesight, as the Rani blocked her view. Yet she could see the Rani hunched over the table, using a silicon rod to mix her blood with the chemical she mentioned.
As the blood mixed with the chemical, it ended up mixing into a single colour: orange. The Rani was surprised. "Interesting." she said to herself, "If this is the result..." She got back up from the table, picked up her recording device once more, and spoke into it. "Update on the situation with the Doctor." she began, "Her blood has mixed with the Ryszardine and the result has come to a conclusion I thought was strange." She deliberately walked to beside the Doctor. "The test showed that the Doctor cannot be the Timeless Child, as she is from this dimension."
