Lincoln Loud sighed to himself as he had that morning got email messages from his sisters and family all the way in Royal Woods in the US; wanting to know how he had been getting on as well as pleading for a chance to meet up and have a start over. He shook his head as while he was still in contact with his friends over the years since moving to Canada as well as his Pop-Pop and he definitely missed his sisters and parents; he was still not over what they had done so thoughtlessly and carelessly and he wasn't sure that he was ready to face them again.

Still in his teens and now he had a job as an intern backstage for the brand new Total Drama Action Aftermath show; "Man... I never thought I would see a guy so broken up..." Lincoln muttered leaving the green room seeing the eliminated contestant and guest for the episode Trent. How things ended between him and his girlfriend Gwen on the show; Lincoln thought that it was shame as he was rooting for them both as a couple watching Total Drama Island and thought that they were a more perfect couple than Lori and Bobby.

Was disheartening...

"You do know how old he is right? He could end up legally emancipated if I am somehow made 'unfit' to care for him and he is going to be a full adult in a few short years... Besides; I was the one who saved him when he was made to be living outside by his parents and took him in out of the kindness off my heart!" Chris McLean his foster father snapped on the phone to his ex-girlfriend who was suing for custody of Lincoln or to at least remove him from Chris' custody. "Can you believe that woman; saying that I am unsuitable to raise you because I am an uncaring ego driven self centred sadist who thinks that he's God's gift to mankind!" Chris ranted putting the phone away.

"You say that as if you aren't..." Lincoln retorted as Chris grinned putting his arm around his shoulder. Lincoln then blinked as he noticed the surfer girl herself Bridgette nearby; co-host off the show along with her boyfriend Geoff who was definitely a lucky guy. He had watched TDI and was taken in by her; shame that she got eliminated first in the new show.

"Hello Bridgette; this is my son Lincoln and he is a super fan of your's!" Chris said as Lincoln looked panicked and silently asked what the hell he was doing. Bridgette's eyes widened coming up to him.

"Your son? How old are you..." Bridgette asked surprised as Lincoln giggled as Chris glared at her.

"For your information I was in my mid 20s when I adopted 11 year old him." Chris retorted shaking his head; "anyway a big case that my ex is making that she thinks that I was so busy hosting this show as well as last season that I didn't have time for him which is like stupid because he was staying with me on the Island in my cottage but I have gotten him an intern job here on Aftermath which should be safer than interning on the main show. I could have put him in as a contestant but if I put him through the stuff that I put you guys through; yeah a judge would have removed him in no time!" Chris explained as Lincoln shook his head at Chris referring to the mansion on the island as a cottage as well as admitting how much abuse he intentionally puts the contestants of Total Drama through.

"Anyway you can make friends now!" Chris said before leaving as Lincoln was embarrassed.

"Yeah... You're really cool and Geoff is lucky..." Lincoln said trying not to be awkward but Bridgette flashed him a friendly smile.

"So you're Chris' son then? I kind of feel sorry for you..." Bridgette said as Lincoln softly laughed.

"Well he has his good points and he definitely treats me better than he does you... Sounds wrong when I got it out and he still isn't the best influence but I can't help but be grateful for him taking me in... He helped me out in a bad spot and he stepped in and offered me a new home after a whole ordeal..." Lincoln muttered and Bridgette had her eyes widened and looked like she felt sorry for him.

Lincoln trying to think of how not to embarrass himself out of this teen celebrity that he had a bit of a crush on; had his hat full off his head and out comes doves. "Drat sorry... I was working on my magic act and I was preparing to show Trent there... Thought that it could help him get his mind off Gwen..." Lincoln explained with a sigh; while he got both sides and Trent was sabotaging his own team, to have his girlfriend telling his team to send him off and then breaking up with him...

"Yeah; really want to let Gwen have it... You have to let friends know when they screwed up." Bridgette said shaking her head. "Nice meeting you Lincoln and I will see you later!" Bridgette said going off as Lincoln waved to her.

Lincoln and Bridgette got to know eachother before, after and during the intermissions of the shows and Lincoln couldn't help but notice that Geoff was letting the fame get to his head. Had gotten to the point here in the 3rd episode where Lincoln was now wondering why Bridgette was still putting up with the jerk. Plus wanting to bring in anvils and an electric chair? He was starting to act like Chris' son than him the boy who had spent the last few years raised by him!

Bridgette finally broke it off with Geoff after him saying that he was the hottest guy that she had ever been with.

"What do you mean we are breaking up babe? I am just doing what is best for the show, the audience and taking it all seriously!" Geoff was questioning to Bridgette during the intermission and he kept trying to protest but Bridgette remaining firm.

Soon it was time for the show to start up again; "Someone has to tell them that the show..." Lincoln told his fellow interns but they all shouted 'Not it!' at once and he glared at them. He was not looking forward to this as he remembered his experience butting into arguments with the whole Sister Fight Protocol debacle.

He went in saying "the show is..."

"What? Hey aren't you that intern that I have seen Bridgette talking to? I think that she had been talking about me to you; hasn't she?" Geoff asked as the cameras went on and Lincoln knew that he was sort of correct; he had allowed Bridgette to vent her annoyances with her boyfriend to him to get it out of her system.

"Lincoln has been listening like a good friend! A friend who listens rather than a boyfriend who doesn't!" Bridgette snapped at Geoff but this got him angry.

"Have you been seeing him behind my back?" Geoff asked as Lincoln tried to protest that she wasn't as Bridgette was too stunned to answer back. "You know I heard about you; the staff saying that Chris brought his charity case adopted son in as an intern." Geoff snapped and Lincoln was open mouthed and Bridgette furious.

"Don't talk about him like that after all he had been through!" Bridgette snapped back as Lincoln had managed to share his story of being taking in to Bridgette.

"I bet that you are using him so that you can get the special treatment that Courtney now has for the next season!" Geoff said as Lincoln was looking at him angrily as well as Bridgette.

"Hey; do we still have any anvils because knucklehead here needs to have one put over it?" Lincoln asked calling out to the other interns as Geoff and Bridgette were arguing.

"...He's a sweet funny guy which I thought you were before you went all Captain Hollywood!" Bridgette was telling him.

"Oh; if he is such a great guy then he can be your boyfriend now since you have broken things off with me! I bet he doesn't kiss like I do!" Geoff snapped and Bridgette then caught Lincoln by his wrist and pulled him into a kiss that he melted into and the audience who were eating all this up went all 'wooh' and the eliminated contestants at the right were open mouthed.

Geoff was speechless as Bridgette smirked at him when she let go; after a few seconds Geoff then left yelling "you know what; I quit! I can't work with you anymore! I bet I can easily get a new TV job after all the fame and drama that I brought in!"

"Sorry about all that Lincoln..." Bridgette told Lincoln apologetically and giggled at his red face but she then noticed the red light in the cameras and to the contestants. "The cameras caught it all; didn't they..." Bridgette asked and they slowly nodded their heads which caused her to go red.

"Oh man; this was definitely nothing like i had expected when I came here!" laughed Owen on the guest couch with Lincoln and Bridgette having forgotten that he was still there.

Lincoln then had his phone go off with a text and he looked at it; "Okay... Welcome Total Drama fans and I'm Lincoln... I was an intern brought in by my foster father Chris but I just got a message that I have now been promoted to co-host..." Lincoln muttered to the audience feeling unready for all this.

I have mentioned before despite being a big Geoff X Bridgette supporter that it only took a few minutes of watching the 3rd Aftermath episode on Netflix (originally I stopped watching the show regularly early into Action and I only watched bits of the later episodes on YouTube and reading about what happened in the show online) and yeah the Action Aftermath episodes made Geoff my 2nd most disliked male character in this franchise after Scott and soured my view off his character and despite knowing he gets better in the Redonculous Race; I don't think that I will see him the same way again.
