Hello Readers! This chapter will take place right after Sabine and Ahsoka wake up Master Chief, not much to say for this one so I'll just get to disclaimers, updates and responses now.
Believer218 reviewed that longer Chapters would be a good idea, since then I have been trying to make them longer, hope you're happy bro!
I have made a second Fanfic-Crossover called DOOM: Infinite. Crossover of DOOM and Halo, rated M because of DOOM.
I have recently fallen ill, this may lead to delayed Chapters, or it will make releases faster because I'm not working as hard anymore.
Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters mentioned in this story.
With that said, lets get into the story!
The Master Chief awoke, gasping for air and yelling. "Get this thing out of me!" He was thrashing at his armour trying to remove it, he seemed to be convinced there was something inside of him, perhaps what caused his suit to enter Survival mode? Ahsoka and Sabine just watched, confused as he tried to remove his chestplate.
"Hey!" Ahsoka called. "Calm down there is nothing inside of you!" The Master Chief ignored her, still thrashing at his armour making large dents in the wall of Ahsoka's ship. The Master Chief groaned in pain as he slowed to a stop, but still grabbing at his chestplate.
"What are you?" Chief asked, now in a healthy but still pained voice.
"I'm Ahsoka Tano, a Togruta from planet Shili." Ahsoka then gestured to Sabine who was beside her. " And this is Sabine Wren, a Mandolorian from planet Krownest. Who are you?"
"My name is John 117, Master Chief of the UNSC." Chief stood to his feet, before groaning in pain and clutching his chestplate tighter. Ahsoka and Sabine noted how tall he was, 7,4 at least, it was a wonder that he even fit in Ahsoka's ship. "I need to get back on the Infinity, where are we now?" Chief asked.
"We're at a massive shipwreck, the same one we found you in, is the ship called the Infinity?" Sabine said.
"Where's the airlock?" Chief asked, ignoring Sabines question.
"It's uh, through the door, take one right then a left." Sabine said. Chief then began walking pushing past the two women that woke him from his sleep.
"Hey! Where do you think your going?" Ahsoka asked as Chief ducked under the door.
"Outside," Chief said walking into the airlock. "close the door."
"Wait- uh oh." Sabine ran back to close the inner-airlock door before Chief opened it. Once the airlock opened, Chief jumped out and used the debris around the infinity as stepping stones to maneuver himself around the wreckage. He found a dead Marine with an Assault Rifle in hand, Chief paid his respects before taking the rifle and jumped towards the main wreckage of the Infinity. Meanwhile, Ahsoka and Sabine were still trying to figure out what he was doing. "What could he possibly want to do on that shipwreck?" Sabine asked.
"He said there was something in his chest that needs to be removed, do you think he's going for equipment to do so?" Ahsoka asked.
"That has to be it, do you have a space suit?"
"Yeah, you go, I'll follow you soon." Sabine nodded and dove out of the airlock into space, using her jetpack to get after the Master Chief. Once she had got there she laid her eyes on what she assumed to be an inpressive rampage from Master Chief, at least it looked like a rampage, all the doors were either forced open or broken off entirely. Sabine followed the trail of destruction until she found Master Chief prying open another door, she tapped on his shoulder and he suddenly turned around and pinned her against the wall. She struggled to get out of his grip before he let go and signaled an apology, she did the same to tell him its alright and he went back to prying open the door which led to a medical bay. But this one was different, it had large machinery inside, mechanical arms placed around beds and podiums. Chief led Sabine into the room before closing the door shut, the room pressurised itself and a grav-gen switched on stopping them from floating all over the place.
"Since you decided to follow me, you can help me." Chief said.
"Actually we both decided to follow you, Ahsoka is on her way, she just had to put on a space suit." Sabine said. then there was a knock on the blast door that Chief had just closed.
"Is your suit still pressurised?" Chief asked, to which Sabine just nodded. Chief then pressed a button that depressurised the room and then forced the blast door open, to see Ahsoka floating infont of him wearing a white space suit. He let her in and closes the door again, the room pressurised and the grav-gen turned on again, Ahsoka removed her helmet. "Since you both decided to follow me, then you can help me." Chief said.
"Help you with what?" Ahsoka said.
"There is a parisite in my chest, if it isn't removed soon it may break through my under-armour and take control of my mind." Chief stated.
"Why not tell us this earlier?" Sabine asked.
"There was no time, and your equipment wasn't suited to remove my armour, in order to remove the parisite." Chief replied. "Now stand back and do as I say." Chief moved to a control panel to activate one of the medical tables and brought one of the robotic arms to its side, before laying down on his back. "Computer, activate arm, remove Chestplate." Chief said. The robotic arm that Chief pulled to the bedside booted to life and began removing Chief's chestplate. "You two, get over here." As Chief finished speaking Ahsoka and Sabine walked over to Master Chief.
"What do we do?" Sabine asked.
"These parisites are strong, once my chestplate is gone grab it and rip it out of me, then kill it before it latches onto one of you." Chief told them. They nodded, a bit worried about what he had said. But their time for worry was cut short when Chief's chestplate came off, revealing a grey creature that appeared to resemble the Krykna from Atollon. Sabine and Ahsoka wasted no time grabbing the creature, it had a strong grip on Master Chief who was yelling in pain. When he came to his senses however, Master Chief grabbed the parisite and tore it out of his chest, blood was spurting everywhere, but he finally got it out of him. It had short tentical like things, which were now thrashing everywhere, trying to free itself from Chiefs grip. But its efforts were in vein when Chief threw it to the corner of the room, grabbed his Assalt Rifle and filled it with lead. "Ugh..." Chief fell backwards onto the bed before the Robotic arm placed his chestplate back, which to Ahsoka and Sabine's surprise, seemed to heal him. He soon got up and looked at the two women who were flabbergasted at what just happened.
"What the hell was THAT!?" Sabine yelled.
Chief replied.
"That, was a Flood Spore."
And that is the end of Chapter 3! I hope you enjoyed this Chapter, and the return of the Flood. The next Chapter will be focusing around how the Flood Spore infected Master Chief and how it was even there in the first place.
Any feedback or ideas are appreciated.
