Wednesday walked down the steps carefully, a black mask in her hand. Tyler turned to his girlfriend, his green eyes as wide as saucers as he feasted his eyes on the goth girl in front of him, clad in the black dress she wore at last year's Rav'n. This year was masquerade.
Tyler smiled, clutching a white mask in his hand. He was wearing a black suit. "You look beautiful, Wen," he said, kissing her lips with force. She grinned.
She pulled the mask over her face, completely covering her face. Tyler did the same. He then grasped her hand, leading her to the dance floor. "Looking good, Addams," hissed Ajax in a wolf mask.
"Thanks," hissed Wednesday.
Morticia smiled. Her daughter was in love with a Hyde.
Tyler took her to the dance floor. The song that played at last year's dance, The Goo Goo Muck. Wednesday's eyes lit up behind her mask, doing the signature dance that was all over TikTok. Tyler giggled. Kent looked at his sister, a wicked glint in his eye. "You thinkin' what I'm thinking?" he asked.
Kent joined Wednesday in dancing. Enid looked at Tyler, giggling.
When the song ended, Wednesday led Tyler to a bench. "Wen?" he asked. "I got you pregnant ages ago. How far along are you?"
"5 months in," said Wednesday, putting her hand to her belly.
"I love you, Tyler," she said softly. "I'm tired of that bastard Xavier Thorpe of stalking us. I'm 5 months pregnant, for God's sake."
"When the time comes, I'll help you," said Tyler.
She lifted her mask up. He lifted his. They kissed, Tyler pulling her out of the seat, pulling her into a gentle hug. Wednesday smiled, her brown eyes full of adoration. They pulled their masks down and headed back to the dance hall.
They danced to I see the Light from Tangled and danced to physical by Dua Lipa. Even Kaarija's song Cha Cha Cha played, which Kent did the iconic worm move to. Divina looked at her date, Yoko Tanaka, laughing. Wednesday elicited a tight-lipped smile at Kent. Tyler grinned. Kent was such a goofy boy.
Soon the night ended. Tyler and Wednesday smiled. Enid and Ajax grinned. The 4 friends then walked out of the dance hall, back to the dormitories. Tyler and Ajax walked to the boys' area of the halls of residence, while Enid and Wednesday walked to the girls' area. Wednesday went into the bathroom to change into her black nightgown and then returned to the dorm, mask under her arm, and got into bed and slept.
