Chapter 3: Reborn
At the Kingdom of Zoanthropes the tournament semifinals were about to begin and the remaining participants were Yugo, Alice, Bakuryu and Shenlong.
The first battle would be of Yugo against Alice and both were called to the arena.
"It is not personal Alice, quite the opposite. Give up this fight honey." Yugo tried to avoid that fight anyway.
"If you really love me, we will have a fair fight, without taking it easy for both of us." Alice said determined to fight.
The first battle from the semifinals were fought and it seemed like there were a great strength discrepancy on this fight.
The first battle results were Yugo the wolf's victory that defeated Alice the rabbit by two to zero.
"You can let me carry you outside the arena." Yugo said to his beloved that were on the ground and with his both hands he carried her on the lap.
"It seems that fighting is no longer my strong point." Alice said in Yugo's arms.
The second and last battle from the semifinals were about to begin and would be Bakuryu the mole against Shenlong the tiger.
"You also were Busuzima's victim and now you seem to live with your own identity. This I have to admire." Bakuryu seemed to understand Shenlong's human side.
"I don't want your pity, but I recognize that you too already were manipulated by him and now you got your own life." Shenlong treated Bakuryu with respect.
The second battle results were Shenlong the tiger's victory which defeated Bakuryu the mole by two to one.
"Accept this fight result as an apprenticeship. I will not raise you up, but I admit that it was almost me on your place." Shenlong said and both of them left the arena giving an end to the semifinals.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we arrived the first stage final where two zoanthropes will fight to decide who will advance to fight two local zoanthropes." The judge announced the final fight.
The final battle was between Yugo and Shenlong and both entered the arena.
"You have changed, I hope your intentions also had changed." Yugo searched a human side on Shenlong.
"You require a lot from me, I'm only a new man living a new life." Shenlong answered Yugo and the battle began.
The finals result was Yugo the wolf's victory which defeated Shenlong the tiger by two to one.
"And the victorious Yugo will have a break before the second stage of the tournament where he shall face two local zoanthropes." Yugo heard the judge and left the arena being received by Alice, Uriko and Kenji.
"A final was not enough." Yugo vented to the other three.
"(Very well Yugo, we will now see how is the two native strength.)" Alan Gado thought from his bench watching it all.
Alice treated Yugo's wounds like the old times and the first representant from the Kingdom of Zoanthropes showed himself at the arena.
"There it is, Ganesha arrived, the first representant from the nation waiting for Yugo at the arena." When the judge finished talking Yugo was already entering the arena with a serious face.
"Accept one advice and give up while you can." Ganesha seemed very confident and Yugo didn't like it.
"Do not despise your opponent, you can have a great body, but that will not prevent me from fighting." Yugo said determined.
The first extra battle had begun and Yugo started having some trouble, but ended up winning at the end. Therefore, Yugo the wolf won against Ganesha the elephant by two to one.
"You really aren't easy. Thank you for the fight." Yugo said to Ganesha which got up.
"You still need to win another fight and I already say to you that won't be easy." The two left the arena and another break happened for Yugo to rest for the tournament decisive fight.
Alice, Kenji, Uriko and Shina approached Yugo to give him support.
"Yugo, have you found Cronos?" Shina asked him.
"No, but something tells me he is near." Yugo answered drinking some water from a bottle.
"The final finally arrived, we are waiting for the first finalist Yugo the wolf." The judge said and Yugo in moments was already at the arena.
A gate opened and from there a man appeared wearing black and yellow clothes with a gray-haired hair, he looked to the public and saluted everyone walking to Yugo.
"And now the single zoanthorpe called Cronos entered the arena, he has two forms." The judge broke the secret.
"I don't have nothing against you, but I don't believe you defeated Ganesha and I won't let it go." Cronos said from a way and didn't show anger.
"So, you're Cronos, a friend of mine knows you. But now is not the time for this, we can solve these things after the battle." Yugo was determinate to win against his last opponent.
The last battle begun, the two fought on the human form until Cronos bestialize himself into a penguin and force Yugo to bestialize into a wolf. To Yugo Cronos's penguin form was a weak form and defeated him on the first round.
"So that is Cronos..." Shina said to herself happy to seeing him again.
The second round begun and Cronos was held down, even so into his penguin form he were able to do a turnaround and the second round was his.
There was a draw, the third round would decide everything.
During the hard battle, Yugo had won against Cronos.
"Impressive! Yugo the wolf wins Cronos the penguin by two to one. We already have the tournament winner!"
While the judge was speaking, Cronos was on the ground and his XGC shined to the max. With that, it was possible to see flames around Cronos and the same bestialized into a phoenix impressing the entire crowd.
"Cronos get up, our battle is not over yet." Yugo said observing that there was a turmoil and Gado showed up next to him alongside armed forces.
"Yugo, they have a lab to their experiments. We need to stop them." Gado warned Yugo.
Cronos got up as phoenix and Yugo stared at him.
"Leave this fight to me Gado, I don't want to be interrupted." Yugo said excited and the lab was destroyed.
The battle was intense, but Yugo won leading Cronos to come back to his human form.
"Cronos?" Shina asked approaching herself and the same was happy to see her.
"Jane?" Cronos asked hugging her.
"After everything that happened the king Orion will have to give some explanations." Alan Gado said happy for his daughter to be reunited with a friend.
At the end of everything, Cronos which didn't know about the experiments was convinced by his father that they were made for the good of their people.
Gado signed papers alongside king Orion which said to him that he would need to understand that even with the good he made, there were still a lot of people to fear their power. Because of his public support at the conference, both raised their hands in unity sign on the fight for peace.
Yugo turned on his bike engine smiling to himself and drove in the middle of the sunset after being named the tournament champion.
