The chandeliers glittered as everyone enjoyed the party hosted by the Chamberlaynes, a wealthy and renowned family in England. Endymion Chamberlayne, their handsome son, was the center of attention. The ladies flocked around him, eager to catch his eye. They discussed his looks and shared their experiences with him. Some claimed he was cold, unwilling to show affection toward women unless they were beautiful. Many of the beautiful women he pursued despised his arrogance and rejected him. He had slept with some, but never cared for them.

Serenity, the daughter of a rich family, the Ingrams, were just as well-known as the chamberlaynes. Serenity was a beautiful woman, stunning in her features. Her golden blonde hair, her blue eyes, everything about her caught the attention of the men. Her parents and Endymion's parents were friends, so it was obvious that they would invite them to the party.

Serenity stood in a corner of the ballroom at the Chamberlayne's, sipping the juice being served at the party. "I wish my friends were here," she said wistfully. "I would feel much better because now I feel so excluded." The girl had not wanted to attend this party because she did not know anyone there. She felt out of place among the ladies and gentlemen, knowing only Endymion. Though she found him attractive, she suspected he was a user, one who used women and discarded them when he was done.

"I despise this stupid party," murmured Serenity.

"Its always going to be the same women." said Endymion. "

"Yeah, definitely. It's always going to be Beryl, Melissa, Susan, Zoë, and that other girl you're dating…"

questioned Kunzite. "I'm not dating Maria anymore, Kunzite," he said. "Why?"

Endymion tried to hold his anger in "It's because she's using me for my money. You know I hate those type of women." angrily Endymion stormed off and was walking to the corner near Serenity was standing. He glanced at her and he was stunned.

She looked so glamorous. He had always dreamed of this type of woman. He wanted to have her. Serenity looked at him; he was handsome, but she knew that he would try to seduce her, and she wouldn't let that happen. "He's probably going to try to lure me in," thought Serenity. His perfect tuxedo and silky jet-black hair that she could run her fingers through were too much; she tried not to think about it, even though he looked so sexy.

"Hey, Serenity? Isn't that your name?" asked the man whom she secretly desired. "Yeah...," she replied, feeling both excited and confused at the same time. "Alright then, Serenity, would you like to dance with me?" asked Endymion sternly. Serenity nodded and took his hand, eager to begin their dance.

he felt slightly giddy because she's one of the most beautiful woman he had ever seen then they were on the main floor. They went and partied to the jazz that was playing. Endymion had never felt affection in his life, He wanted to love her. The group of ladies whispered and chatted about them. Serenity and Endymion felt uncomfortable with the commotions about them.

When the song finally ended, Serenity ran to the balcony. "Weird girl," murmured Endymion as he followed her, intending to catch up with the girl he had just danced with.

Serenity was panicking, people are going to think that they are together, she didn't want to be the most hated woman just because Endymion danced with her, and she was the only woman who Endymion danced with in such a long time

"Serenity, You do not have to be so afraid of me!"

Serenity glanced at the man who was approaching her. "I should because you will seduce me." angrily serenity tried to walk away but Endymion grabbed her wrist to stop her from getting away from him.

You haven't even met me, you have just met me today and you are assuming things about me already. I don't even know who you are until today. I only know your mother and father because my parents are friends with them. Anyways, you look pretty Lady Serenity." Still holding onto the woman's wrists, he let go. "Thank you Endymion, but I am not letting you have me." murmured Serenity as she tried to leave, but suddenly Endymion turned her around to face him and kissed her hard.

Serenity couldn't believe it; Endymion, the man who was the most handsome man she had ever seen, was kissing her! She gave in as well, for she desired him too. He was her man, the man she only wanted. He was hugging her waist tightly while her arms remained limp and unmoving during their passionate kiss.

They broke the kiss and Endymion glanced at her. "You are such a good kisser," he said.

whispered softly towards Serenity. "Maybe it's because I desire you." replied Serenity romantically.

"Same for me, Can you ask your mother if I can come to your place tomorrow because I want to convince her that we're together."

Serenity nodded. "Uh, sure. You can come to our place anytime you'd like. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go inside." Serenity walked away from the demon. Endymion looked at her. "She's my woman..."

Thank God no one saw them kissing, but if someone had seen it, it would have ruined her reputation. "Serenity... I saw you kissing Endymion!" screamed Mina.

"Don't tell anyone about it, please…" Serenity whispered to Mina. Mina was Serenity's best friend; she hadn't expected her to be at the party since it was for the elite and friends of the Chamberlains.

"Why are you here, Mina? Did you just sneak in here...?" Suspiciously questioned Mina.

"Oh my gosh! My parents are also friends with the Chamberlains. Anyway, I took this photo of you and Endymion kissing. You two actually look so cute together!"

Mina handed the photo to Serenity; it was all black and white, obviously because they couldn't get it in color. "Please don't show this to anyone," Serenity trembled.

"Don't worry; I won't. It will just be between me and the girls."

Endymion ran to Kunzite, "I kissed one of the prettiest girls I've ever seen." Heavy breathing followed Endymion's statement. "Isn't that Serenity Ingram?" Asked the Jadeite who stood behind Kunzite. "Yeah..."

"We all know what you're going to do Endymion...," said Kunzite.

"Maybe not. She's way prettier and her personality is exactly what my type of woman is." Endymion answered calmly.

"I think the party is over Endymion."

Kunzite nodded towards the group leaving through the door. Endymion walked there too, with his friends, and said their farewells to their friends and the guests who had come to the party.

"Serenity, Did you have a good time with Endymion?

"I hope you made friends with him!" excitedly said Serenity's mother.

"Yes, I definitely did. He was a nice man!"

Endymion then approached the mother and daughter. Serenity was a little bit afraid, thinking that he would probably tell them that they had kissed.

Endymion asked, "Miss Ingram, is it possible for me to visit your home for Lady Serenity?"

"Of course Endymion, after all you are her friend." replied the latter.

"Yes…" Endymion wanted to say that they were together but Serenity either disagrees or agrees with that.

"Alright then, do you know where your parents are, Endymion? Because I would like to talk to them."

"Let me go get them Ms. Ingram" replied Endymion

Endymion's parents came to Ms. Ingram. Margaret Chamberlayne and Damien Chamberlayne were the parents of Endymion. They both had black hair, just like him. His father looked almost exactly like him.

"Serenity, How's it been?" asked Margaret.

"Great!" The chattering between them began. Endymion and Serenity were the only two people left who weren't chatting with each other.

Endymion started to speak

"Serenity, I should have really said that we were togethe-"

"Yeah..But isn't it awkward?" questioned Serenity.

"Not for me," he chuckled.

You are so pathetic." clapped back the woman.

"Awwwwwww..The little bunny is angry.." mockingly replied Endymion while pulling her cheeks.

"We have to go!" shouted Serenity's mother.

"Goodbye Endymion," she waved. "See you tomorrow!"

"Farewell, my princess." Endymion waved goodbye and looked at her once more.

He wanted to be with her forever; she had taken his heart. He went back inside his manor and thought about her deeply all night. He would not allow any other man to have her.
