She went in the ballroom. There was a bright light hitting her, everywhere. People were talking and there was a large crowd dancing. It was like those parties that her mom hosted when she was little during the roaring 20's, a time where everything was great. Everyone threw champagne on everyone and and everyone danced happily like there was no tomorrow. Serenity looked around for Endymion, she had to find the man who had dark hair and a tuxedo but there was so many gentlemen like that in the party. She glided through the crowd, he should be somewhere around this ballroom.
Endymion ran downstairs to the ballroom, he could hear everyone having a fun time. He thought to himself that this was like the greatest times ever. Everyone was having blast at the party, this was not the first time they had hosted parties like this. When his father got rich during the roaring 20's, he threw large parties. The one where everyone threw champagne and danced crazily to the jazz there, flapper girls, everything you could think of during the 20's parties. His family was so rich, it ended up on the newspapers.
"Endymion, You know Beryl is here. Make sure to keep your, I don't know? Girlfriend?" Arthur scoffed while putting on his coat.
"You are so fucking wrong." Endymion replied angrily
Endymion went to the ballroom, it blinded him almost by the lights and everything going on. He ran through to find Serenity and suddenly she ran against him and bumped into him.
"Oh my god, I am so sorry- SERENITY!" Endymion jumped in happiness
Endymion hugged her tightly, he longed for her ever since that night. Serenity hugged him too, she kissed him on his cheek.
"Oh Endy! I missed you so much.." She smiled, she wanted to stay all night with him.
Beryl watched the couple rejoice and kiss each other. She was filling up with jealousy, her blood was boiling. She wanted what the girl Endymion loved had. The way that Endymion was attracted to her made her feel like a useless piece of crap. He was madly in love with her, when she and Endymion were dating. Endymion never cared for Beryl, he only wanted her for her body the way he used to be is gone and she yearned for what he was now. She was watching them from the 2nd floor of the balcony, how could she assassinate her plan to make Endymion not love Serenity anymore? Beryl wanted him to love her, not her.
"Oh my god! Did you see Endy hugging Serenity Ingram. Why would he date anyone like her" laughed the red headed girl
"Um. She looks pretty" commented Zoe with full honesty
"Blondes are always dumb. He can find someone better" rudely added Suzan
"You are so right! Serenity must be dumb." concurred Beryl, she had already tried to get with Arthur. Arthur wasn't interested in women most of the time, he would dance with them but he would never date them unlike his brother who is the gentleman who had lots of ladies.
"Oh fuck sakes, Demande. Endymion hates you more than me." Arthur said in irritation while grabbing a drink from the butler. Endymion hated Demande so much for taking so much, Demande was from another wealthy family called the Millers. The main reason why Endymion hated Demande because he had cheated on every game him and the men played during gambling and had also stolen his brand new Aston Martin to drive around downtown.
"Don't worry he can't fight me infront of the whole crowd and plus it's going to ruin his whole image." Demande laughed so hard. He wanted to steal everything from Endymion to make him feel worthless.
"Did you also know that Endymion has a new lady?" giggled Arthur.
"No, I haven't seen her." Demande smirked. This could be his perfect time to make Endymion really rage, stealing his woman.
"Serenity..You know how pretty your hair is?" flirted Endymion, he loved the way she dressed.
"Yeah..I spent one hour doing it." Serenity said while blushing. He thought her hair was glamorous, he didn't judge her.
"You don't have to do all that for me, I like the way you are.." He smiled and then took her hand.
"Do you want to dance?" He asked with full attention.
"Oh! Of course!" She then ran to the dance floor with him and waltzed with the jazz. She felt like she was in heaven, she had never felt like it was enjoying to dance but with him around, it was enjoyable. He thought dancing wasn't fun because he never found it enjoyable , he hated it until she was there. Endymion wanted to dance with her everyday with the jazz music playing on the record player.
They danced for an hour and the couple felt tired so they went upstairs to the 2nd floor. Beryl looked at her with an side eye, she was scared of Beryl. What possible things could she do to her?
"Endy, I'm going to go to the balcony for some fresh air. I'll be right back" She said exhaustively
"Alright Serenity, I'm going to go get some champagne from the bar. Let me know if someone troubles you." shouted Endymion as she ran out to the balcony.
She could feel the fresh air through her lungs, she was so exhausted from dancing with him but she did not regret any of it because she wanted it and she got it.
Demande went to the balcony, he was stunned. She was the most beautiful and ethereal woman he had seen, Serenity must have been the lady of Endymion! He also liked her and it was a perfect chance to steal her heart and ruin Endymion's image for the public too. He would buy her the most expensive gifts to make her fall in love with him, that's how it worked for every lady.
"Hey." Serenity turned around suddenly. She had a bad vibe from him already, he had white hair. It reached until his shoulder too like Arthur's but it wasn't straight. He had a suit on, she could recognize it was from an expensive brand due to the material she assumed from.
"Hi, What do you want?" Serenity shrieked, she didn't want him near her.
"Oh. I just wanted your name." He said devilishly.
"It's Serenity, Goodbye." She ran away from him to Endymion.
She was looking for him everywhere, he said he would get champagne and went to the bar. Endymion saw her running to him, he could feel the presence of something disturbing her. He caught her in his arms, she was panting heavily.
"Serenity, What happened?" Endymion was shaking her body. Serenity was scared.
"Serenity, You have to tell me what happened!" exclaimed Endymion while he was putting his hands on her shoulders.
"A man named De- De - man- de" Serenity was stammering. She felt so scared for her life, he didn't want a man like Demande to assault her.
"THAT CREEP. Stay away from him, don't speak to him. If he touches you, I will not be hesitant to beat his ass up" said Endymion with full rage
"Alright.." feared Serenity. Endymion would protect her anyways so it wouldn't be a big deal? Right?
"Let's pop the champagne, Sha'll we?" winked Endymion. He finally calmed down!
"Of course!" Serenity then ran to get the champagne from the table and gladly gave it to him.
"Hey, It's not only you two. We also have to party!" laughed Kunzite. Endymion turned around to see his friends, Jadeite, Nephrite, Zoisite, and Kunzite.
"Sweet, Well then let's begin-" Endymion was cut off by a woman's voice
"Um Serenity, You seriously think that you would have a party without us" Minako said with annoyance. Serenity turned around to see her friends too! Minako, Rei, Ami, and Mako were standing behind her and looking
at her joyfully.
"Well, Anyways. On your Mark…." Endymion said while opening the bottle, he twisted the cage and the cork popped off. The champagne exploded everywhere, Serenity tried to cover herself so the alcohol wouldn't get everywhere on her but it was too late.
"Sere, Are you having fun?" Mina asked joyfully while she got sprayed with champagne.
"I think I need to clean this off…" Serenity said worriedly
"I have an extra dress for you to change in!" She answered joyfully to Serenity and they partied all night long with a few champagne explosions, some people joined in and got drunk. After the party, Serenity was drunk from the champagne including Zoisite and Jadeite. Rei and Minako were drunk too, they had to lie down on some couches and they probably fell asleep after that. Endymion was carrying Serenity bridal style, she was drunk from the consumption of so much champagne.
"Silly girl, I won't ever let her get drunk next time." He was upset on how she consumed so much champagne at the party, she was naive but he would tell her seriously when she woke up.
He took her to his room and laid her down on his bed, he sat down next to her on the bed and began to think on how to protect her from that evil monster, Demande. He certainly would beat him but it would ruin his whole image and family's legacy. Then someone knocked on the door, Endymion irritatedly went to the door and opened it.
"Arthur, What do you fucking want?" Endymion said angrily. He didn't want to speak with him right now, Serenity was not doing well at all.
"Endymion, You need to stop her from getting drunk. Also-" Endymion closed the door shut, he didn't want to hear what his brother was saying. He hated him so much.
"En-n-n-dy…" Serenity said intoxicated. He went next to her and put his arm around her neck.
"Baby..What do you want?" He didn't want to do terrible stuff to her at all because she was drunk, she would say stuff that she would regret.
"Ohhhhhh…Kiss me…" Serenity tried to stand up but she was incapable of doing it since she would trip. Endymion was inches away from her face and then kissed her passionately, she could feel the sweet kiss and his tongue moving in her mouth.
"Serenity, I think I'll let you sleep in my room." Endymion blushed, he had never let a woman sleep in his room but Serenity was an exception because he truly loved her.
"Areeee..youuu. gonna…let…my…mom…know?" She grabbed his arm tightly and was looking at him happily like a puppy.
"Yeah…" Endymion replied shyly then put the blankets on her. "Good night." Endymion left the room while she fell asleep. He didn't want to let her go at all.
