It is night as rain patters against the large gym window while muted gray light from the clouds filter in. The large space is empty, aside from two figures sparring in the center. There are the soft sounds of thunks, as Atlanta lands a punch on Archie's abdomen yet again. She moves back with a step and places a hand on her hip. With a smirk Atlanta remarks, "You getting sluggish on me Archie?" Archie gives her a cheeky grin in return as they start sparing again. "No- "He dodges a few of Atlanta's punches and lands a couple of his own. Archie backs away and smiles, "Are you?" Atlanta has a brief look of surprise cross her face before relenting. "Alright, alright. Let's take a break." Before she goes to grab her drink she quickly lands a punch on his arm. Archie rubs the affronted area before playfully shouting after her, "Cheater!" Atlanta gives him a brief smile as she leaves the gym. Archie sits down the bench nearby, taking a moment to catch his breath. Once returning, Atlanta not only has water but a CD player as well. Archie looks at the CD player in confusion, "What's that for?" Atlanta places the CD player and water down then presses the play button; an upbeat song begins to play. Grinning mischievously, she replies, "Cardio." Then begins swaying her arms and hips side to side in tandem with the music. "She moves so fluidly", Archie thinks. He continues sitting down on the bench, making no move to dance.
Atlanta stops moving and looks at him jokingly. "What's wrong? You don't like the song?" Archie continues sitting on the bench and leans on his hands. "No, it's actually pretty good." Atlanta smiles, "Too scared?" Archie's eyes widen a bit before answering, "No! Me, scared? Of dancing? Please, it's just moving!" Atlanta rolls her eyes and cocks her hip to the side, "Then what is it? You don't know how?" Archie's silence is her response. Her eyes immediately soften and lose their playful tint. "Oh, well it's easy." Atlanta rushes over to Archie grabs his hand and pulls him up. She slowly puts his hands on her shoulders and rests her hands on his shoulders. "Then you just move like this." They both slowly begin to sway back in forth along to the song. The song had moved to a slow ballad, filled with trumpets, violins, and guitar strumming. "Not bad Arch! I thought you said you couldn't dance." He smiles as the song fills up the empty gym. Archie looks off to the side as if thinking about something then makes eye contact with Atlanta once more. Suddenly, he twirls Atlanta and dips her. She is breath taken and her eyes are blown wide. Even though the stars aren't out tonight, Archie swears he sees them in Atlanta's eyes. He pulls her back up and they are slow dancing once more. "Who's teaching who here?" Archie lifts her up by the waist as he spins her around before gently placing her down. "I don't know, it's getting hard to tell." A grin graces Atlanta's face, "Smooth Archie." They continue dancing into the night, as rain patters against the windows of the gym.
