"Claws In." Adrien was so happy to be back home after a early morning akuma fight. All he could think about now was breakfast. "Maybe Chef made oatmeal. Or pancakes. Anything warm sounds good," Adrien whispered to Plagg as they headed to the breakfast nook. "You must be hungry, Adrien, if you can think of something other then Ladybug." "Very funny. Come on, we don't have much time before school."

However, when Adrien arrived in the kitchen, Nathalie was standing there waiting for him. "Good morning, Adrien. I'm sorry, but Chef has taken sick today. Maybe if your early to school, you could grab something there." "But-" "Come on, let's go."

Adrien's stomach growled loudly, and he blushed in embarrassment as his driver glanced in the rear view mirror. How embarrassing!

Adrien headed to the locker room to check his locker for snacks, hoping to find at least a granola or protein bar. Nothing. Look's like his Lady's Luck wasn't rubbing off on him today.

When Adrien entered the classroom and looked at the clock, he sighed. It was a long time till lunch. "This is why you should eat cheese," Plagg grinned and Adrien frowned at him. "Not funny," he grumbled, and slid into his seat beside Nino.

There was a math test first hour, and Adrien focused the best he could. He jumped a little when Nino nudged him. "Dude, you've been glaring at your pencil for like five minutes? You okay?" "I'm fine. I'm just hungry is all."

Well, its not like Father would be eating with him, and Adrien's portions seemed to be getting smaller lately. A sudden wave of emotions hit Adrien. It wasn't just the food he craved, but the love and conversation that came along with it. "Hungry? The day just started!" "Ever since I started coming to school in the morning, I haven't had time."

Marinette was sitting quietly at her desk listening, and her heart went out to Adrien. "No breakfast! That's the most important meal of the day! Without proper nutrition, he'll fail class and then his father won't allow him to come to school. I can't let that happen." Once Marinette had a thought in her head, she was determined to see it through. Maybe she couldn't do anything today, but she could tomorrow.

Next morning, there were no akuma fights and Marinette was up early whipping up a batch of fresh croissants. She even stopped at Starbucks on the way to school.

Though she was still a little shy around Adrien, she knew this was the right thing to do. She spotted him in the hall and called out, "Adrien!"

Adrien turned, seeing sweet Marinette holding a brown paper bag and two cups. One looked like it was about to tip over and he grabbed it just in time. "Hey, Marinette."

Marinette smiled and held out the paper bag. "For you!" she squeaked, but her voice sounded happy. Adrien just stood there a moment, stunned. "What is it?" he asked, holding the bag.

Marinette drew her foot in a circle. "I heard you talk about not being able to eat breakfast, and uh…." Her cheeks were flushing a pretty pink, and Adrien noticed how beautiful her bluebell eyes were. "I made some banana muffins at the bakery. I hope you like banana."

Now, Adrien's cheeks were the color of apples, and Marinette stopped her rambling. "Are you okay?" she asked. Adrien smiled and stepped closer. "That was so sweet, you bringing me breakfast." He kissed her cheek and grinned. "But I wouldn't want to eat alone, so how about you share it with me?"

"Okay." This was what Adrien had wanted for quite some time now. His Lady's Luck must be somewhere close by. "Another reason to call you my everyday Ladybug." Adrien smiled as they finished. Marinette smiled shyly at him, happy with her good deed.
