The One With Emma's New Dad Interlude
Notes: Quite honestly this story has hit a bit of a brick wall as I have been struggling a lot with writing the chapter about Gunther and Rachel's wedding/honeymoon. I have written a short scene in honor of Monica and Chandler's anniversary. I hope you enjoy it. I love writing stories about them. Let me know if you have suggestions for other ones
A light breeze blew through Monica and Chandler's open bedroom window. "Monica honey are you cold?" Chandler asked.
"MM hmm.. " Monica mumbled
After shutting the window Chandler picked up at his cell phone from his bedside table. The time read 3:15am. The date May 15th. He settled down under the covers and wrapped his arms gently around Monica.
"Hey, do you know what day today is?"."
Monica nodded and snuggled her head into her husband's bare chest. "Of course I do sweetheart."
Chandler rubbed his wife's back gently. "Can you even believe we've been married for twenty two years?"
Monica shook her head. "Time sure has flown hasn't it?:
Chandler let out a content sigh. "Definitely. I wouldn't trade a second of it for anything would you?"
Tears were at edges of Monica's eyes. "No, absolutely not. I would never change a thing.:
Chandler gently wiped his wife's tears away with the tips of his fingers and then kissed her lips passionately. "Happy Anniversary Monica."
"Happy Anniversary Chandler." Monica returned her husband's kiss gently.
"I will always love you with all my heart honey." Chandler whispered.
" I love you too." Monica whispered in reply before falling back asleep.
