Chapter 6: Team Rocket

It's around 4 AM when Hiro heard knocking on his room's door. He sleepily walked towards the door and opened it. It's Akane. " We have a problem here. I heard the sound of something breaking from my room. We both know what's going on here. Team rockets are here." Akane told Hiro. They both know thanks to their knowledge from anime that team rocket attack here at Pokemon center for stealing Pokemon. Viridian town isn't that big town so they don't have to worry about other strong trainers here. In Viridian town Pokemon center Hadley some trainers stay and those who stay are new trainers so they don't have to worry about fighting Powerful trainers. Until officer Jenny or other help arises team rockets long gone with Pokemon they steal from the Pokemon center. At Least that's their plan.

This is going to be their first encounter with

Jessie James and Meowth. They are joker in anime but who knows if they are that idiot here or smart enough to get inside a criminal organization that's only in Kanto but work in other regions too. But right now Hiro has his own problems. " I don't have my Pokemon. They are with nurse Joy. I was supposed to collect them in the morning." Hiro said somewhat trouble that he knew that maybe a team rocket would attack them in the Pokemon center but still gave both his Pokemon to nurse Joy. Now he is more worried about what if the team rocket already takes his Pokemon. "Don't worry, I still have my Pokemon with me. Let's go, we will collect your Pokemon from nurse Joy then defeat team rocket." Akane reassures Hiro.

They both quickly made their way towards the first floor where nurse Joy is. Along the way they also try to contact officer Jenny but their pokedex doesn't have a signal. Maybe team rockets somehow block it. Soon they both are in the main hole. They see that Jessie James and Meowth are there and try to fight with nurse Joy. Nurse Joy is using her Chansey. But unfortunately Chansey doesn't have fighting experience. She was use to healing, not hurting others. But her defense is so strong that she is still standing after some Attack team rocket's Pokemon Ekans and Koffing. Even though Chansey is holding her own agest team rocket she is not going to last very long. At that moment Akane throws her Pokeball that holds Usagi " go Usagi help nurse Joy's Chansey." Akane says after throwing her Pokeball. "Nurse Joy, can you tell me where my Pokemon is? I gave them to you." Hiro asks desperately to help. " They should be in room number 3 where all Pokemon that need treatment are kept. And they should be perfectly fine by now." Nurse Joy replied, happy to see that help had already arrived.

"Thanks for telling us where to find those Pokemon." The man who is wearing white clothes and big red R on it says. " You save us trouble to find them." Now woman l who also wears the same clothes as man but lady like reply. "And why did you think that we are just going to let you take all Pokemon without fighting?" Akane asked. "You look like a new trainer who doesn't know about us. We are a team rocket and we are going to rule this world. My name is James and her name is Jessie. So surrender now or prepare for a fight." Man now identifies as James reply . "That's right, " Their Meowth says. That caused a shock reaction from nurse Joy. Although both reincarnated trainers know about that already but still fack a shock reaction so no one suspects. "That Meowth can talk." Nurse Joy is now surprised to see a talking Pokemon. " Yes I can talk." Meowth reply.

"That's not the time to shock right now. Hiro, go get your Pokemon and I will hold this Three joker here." Akane says, looking at the team rocket. " Usagi use Vine Whip on both Akens and Koffing." Akane order her Pokemon to Attack. Usagi quickly follow order and use Attack. But both Pokemon Move out of way to avoid it. " You really think you can take both of us at same time. Fullish girl you are no Match for team rocket." Jessie is confident that she can beat Akane. "Just go already Hiro, I can hold my own again them. So just go and come back quickly." Akane says. "Don't ignore me you little brat. Akens use poison sting on that little Bulbasaur." Jessie says now iritet that two trainers didn't take her seriously. " Doge it and use Tackle on Akens." Akane quickly responds and orders her Pokemon to doge powerful poison attack. Usagi doge attacks quickly and runs towards Akane. When she is close she slammed her body again Akens and knock him back a little. " Ok I am back in a while." Hiro replies and runs towards room no 3. James try to interfere with that but Vine Whip from Usagi stop his Koffing to do anything.

Hiro is running towards a room that has his Pokemon. But in a way he meets with Misty and Unexpected Ash. He looks at him. He is not in very good condition but looks much better than before. " What are you doing here? And Ash you need rest. " Hiro asks Ash and Misty. "When he wake up he wants to see his Pikachu. And we also heard the sound of battling. What's going on here." Misty asks. "Team rocket is currently Attack Pokemon center. Akane and nurse Joy are currently fighting them. My Pokemon is in room number 3 for treatment. So I am going there to get it so I can also help." Hiro answers Misty. They both look afraid. "Team rocket is a dangerous group. I heard about them. They are bad news." Misty says. " Misty, do you have all your Pokemon with you." Hiro asked. Misty just nodded. " Good, go help Akane and nurse Joy. Ash you should rest you and in no condition of battal. I am going to get my Pokemon and come and help you. " Hiro says. " But I also want to help." Ash says. " But you and your Pikachu both are in no condition to fight." Hiro says. " So don't worry, we can handle them." Hiro reassures Ash. Misty soon runs towards the main hole. Ash and Hiro run towards room no 3.

Soon both Ash and Hiro reach room no 3. They both go inside and there are so many Pokeball there. Hiro suspects that most of them are viridian town people's Pokemon. Hiro soon found his Pokeball thanks to the Name sticker that nurse Joy put on them to identify who's Pokemon are in Pokeball. Ash also found his Pikachu sleeping in a small bed in the room. Hiro takes his Pokemon and looks at Ash. Pikachu is already awake and rubbing his cheeks against Ash. " Looks like you two are getting along fine." Hiro says. " Yes. Now I and Pikachu are best friends." Ash replies happily."Let's hurry up and help Misty and Akane. They are fighting team rocket alone. And Ash you are just going to watch Pikachu in not fully heal. And you should know when not to push your Pokemon." Hiro says . Ash just nod at that.

When Ash and Hiro return to the main hole they see that Misty is fighting with James and his Koffing and Akane is fighting with Jessie and her Akens. Koffing uses poison gas on that Staryu. Misty orders her Staryu to doge but. He isn't fast enough to doge the Attack and Staryu got poison. Misty orders him to use a water gun. And it did some damage but not enough to take down Koffing. Then Koffing uses a Tackle and that knocks out Staryu. Misty recalls Staryu back in his Pokeball. On the other hand, Akane is fighting Jessie and her Akens with usagi. Akens use bite but Usagi was strong enough to survive the attack. Then Usagi uses Vine Whip and hits its Target and manages to knock off Akens. Jessie is not very happy about it and recalls her Akens.

James Koffing is going to Atteck Akane's Usagi when Hiro and Ash came back. " Go khalasi, help Usagi defeat that Koffing." And with that Hiro's name Charmender came out of her Pokeball and got ready for battle." You finally came back. I was starting to think that you're not going to return." Akane says playfully. " Hey, I did send help here. And I came just in time. Like a hero. " Hiro replied. " I was just joking. Now help me defeat these jokers." Akane says. "Khalasi uses Ember." "Usagi use Vine Whip." Both trainers order their Pokemon. Both Pokemon soon use Atteck on Koffing. "That's not good. Koffing try to dodge them.'' James ordered his Pokemon frantically. Koffing try to dodge powerful attack but fails. And both Ember and Vine Whip hit him and knocked him out. " It seems we underestimate these trainers. We have to retrite now." James says to Jessie and Meowth. They soon use smoke ball and when it's clear they're nowhere to be seen.

"Looks like they ran away. " Misty says. "Yes, but we manage to protect every Pokemon here so it's a win for us." Akane replied. " So what are we going to do now? It's already morning so we can't just go to sleep." Hiro asked. " Yes but Ash needs some rest. So he should go and sleep a little." Akane suggested. " No, I am perfectly fine." Ash replied. " No you're not. And besides you have to call your mom and tell her everything too. And officer Jenny is also going to come here so she can ask you what's happened herself. Do you think you can do that without the rest you needed." Hiro says. "You're right. I am going to sleep for a while and then we can take care of other business." Ash replied and left. "So what are you going to do?" Misty asks. "We are going into town. Yesterday we were in a hurry so we couldn't stay there long. Now we want to take a look at it." Akane replied. "And we also have to inform this incident to officer Jenny too. Team rocket somehow blocked our pokedex signal, so we weren't able to contact someone for help." Hiro replied. " Ok then I am also going to sleep for a while." Misty says and goes to her room. She also gives her Pokeball to nurse Joy to take care. Khalasi wasn't hurt and anything. So Hiro doesn't have to worry about her. Although Usagi is not that badly hurt, still she needs some rest. That's why Akane gave Usagi to nurse Joy to take care of. And with that both of them ready to go out and explore town.
