Pepper went to the door opened it just as Rain Peter were going up the steps of the door.
When Pepper looked at Peter. He was so tiny, if it wasn't for the file Pepper would have thought he was 7. He also was really sickly thin, he had bags under his eyes. She barely saw the bags under his eyes because he had his head down looking at the ground.
Pepper then looked up at Rain who gave her a sad smile. "Peter, Rain come on in." Pepper said moving aside so the 2 could get in.
Pepper led them to the kitchen where Tony was, Rain sat down in a chair while Peter went to stand in a corner farthest away from Tony. 'Ok' Pepper thought. 'Might have a fear of guys.' "So" Rain said starting. "I've looked over your file you two are very fit to foster Peter.
As said, I have a few things to say before I leave. Peter is very skittish please be patient with him. All he needs is patience and love to show he is safe. He is very malnourished make sure you don't give him too big of a portion of food. Give him a small portion work your way up to a regular sized meal. The rest you need to know is in this file."
Alexia said as she got up gave Tony Peter's file. She got up and Pepper also got up to lead her out. Rain turned around gave a little wave to Peter. He didn't respond but Pepper knew he saw.
Just before Rain got out of the door she turned around put a hand on Pepper's shoulder. "Thank you for doing this. I know you're gonna do well with him. All you need is time." With that she walked out, got in the car drove away.
Pepper stood there for a moment for finally snapping out of it walking back into the kitchen. Tony Pepper shared a look that made both of them almost cry. They could do this. They both knew this as a fact. All Peter needed was love and patience.
